Confiturerie Tigidou | Tigidou Jam Factory

A lovely view, and very impressive jam, but I think people are getting confused about the coffee which was distinctly average. It seemed to be a fairly slow day for the store but the staff were struggling to serve accurately or in a timely manner. The scones were also ok but nothing special. The views and seating make up for a lot 😀

4-30-2024 What a rustic and authentic shop. They grow the fruit and make the jams on the Island. A large variety and some unusual flavours. They were kind enough to let us try a few. Not too many people around since it is not in season, but can expect this place to be crowded in the summer.

This is another spot that we usually return again, and again when we visit the island. A few years ago, we recall them having a selection of jams and jellies. Now they have even more options to choose from. We also love the fact that you can taste or sample Some of the jams or jellies that you would like to purchase. They also make now syrups with basil and pepper, these syrups you can use as toppings for ice cream or mixing in with your vinaigrette. They sell drinks on site and there’s a really nice patio in the back overlooking the water, so if you’re looking for a quiet relaxing time, this may be the perfect discovery for you. The staff is very patient and have a really good knowledge of the products. There’s a good mix of strawberry, jam, blueberry, jam, jalapeño and strawberry jelly, berry mix jams etc

Really cool place. We had the free taste testing, bought a scone and lemonade, then bought some honey and jams. The scone was superb, while the lemonade was slightly sharp. Still enjoyed it. The people who work there are very helpful (some of them speak very good english). The jams we taste tested were very good. My wife and I had a fun time there. The prices were pretty fair, especially if you get several, as they give you a discount, and you can watch them make jam in front of you with their retro equipment.

What a cute shop!!!! This is a must stop for anyone visiting Ile d'Orleans !!! So many flavours of jams, we bought the trilogie jam, a caramel spread, a strawberry jam and a strawberry basil jam from the imperfection section and the Eau pétillant épicées fraises rhubarbe. The trilogie was incredible, I highly suggest getting that one, the imperfect strawberry basil jam was really good on cheese and had a very nice light basil flavour to it. The bubbly water was very interesting, really good flavour but very spicy !!! We also got 2 of their slushies, they only had blueberry available but WOW ! It tasted like a handful of wild blueberries, not very sweet (which i prefer) but packed with flavour and so refreshing !! Highly recommend getting one of those !

Amazing coffee and a beautiful relaxing view of the lake! One of my highlights! I recommend their citrouille latte!

Oh my the spicy water and spicy jam was delish. I'm definitely craving more. Nuii gotta check out this place and it's view. Delish and restful for the soul.

While we drive the I'lle d'Orleans. this was one of our stops. It is a Jam Factory. A nice selection of jams, jellies and apple creams. They have a large selection and you are able to sample their products. There is also a cafe offering scones and slushies.

If you are looking for a spot outside of Quebec to experience what makes the place so special, add this to your list. We had this as an option while exploring Île d'Orléans and so glad we did it! The staff were so kind and the jam was decently priced. It's made with natural sweetener of the fruit and you could taste the berries. We went with raspberry jam and scones, along with a blueberry slush. Sit outback and enjoy the breeze while at this gem!

Absolutely gorgeous interior and I love that you can try the products. There are four jams, two apple creams, and 2-3 of some herb spread, but we didn't try those. You can just go in and sample everything yourself, but there are way more options for purchase. Definitely expensive, so we only got a jar of strawberry-raspberry jam, but they also sell imperfect jars for around $5-6CAD.

We came to the island with my kids, so this was a nice treat because it was a tasting they could participate in (as opposed to the wine tastings). They loved the raspberry jam that came with the scones, and the slushies were amazing -- they seemed to just be pureed frozen fruit. The kids were excited to pick out some jams and syrups to bring home, as well.

Lovely jam factory! This place offers a free tasting of their jams and jellies. They have a large selection of in house made products. Also, you can order food at the canteen. However, everything is quite pricey.

We found Tigadou last summer while driving around the island. What a treat! A tasting bar for jams! We bought several 4-packs as gifts for people back home in Georgia. They have all raved about the quality and superb taste. I just wish it was closer to us. We wil lneed to order on line for more soon. Susan S.

It was such an amazing experiance to visit this quante and beautiful boutique jam factory while visiting from California. I have to say, Tigidoue Jam Factory is the one place every visitor must go! I met with the owner and he personally offered jam tastings to us. The quality of the jam was absolutely amazing and unlike anything I have ever tasted before.The hardest part was deciding which flavors to buy. I also loved the art and decor. It was the perfect place to relax and enjoy the experiance completely. Coming from the city, it was nice to see the chicken walking freely outside and the wild flowers as we approached the grounds. I would recommend for everyone visiting Quebec and Orleans Island to have this once in a lifetime experiance!!

This was a highlight of our trip to this island. We stumbled upon it on a drizzly windy day Sep 1, 2017. We used every ounce of the jam we bought. Inside, they gave a short demo and tasting which was very helpful to me in deciding which ones to buy. Outside, we played with a lovely St Bernard dog. I recommend a visit!

The Tigidou Jam Factory was one of the stops on our drive around the I'lle d'Orleans. And it was like walking straight into a live Pinterest photo. Super cutesy with staff in old timey costumes offering samples of their hand made preserves and jams. The air was scented with the sweet, sweet scent of strawberry as jam was being produced right then and there. I wanted to move in forever...and I probably could have because they offer an AirBNB rental on site that is equally gorgeous and drool-worthy. We grabbed 2 jars of the strawberry lemon jam ($13.95 each) and continued our tour of the island. Tigidou is too cute for its own good!
