Cocktails and snacks served in a 60-year-old restored airplane

"You shouldn’t go too far out of your way to drink at Connie Cocktail Lounge. We don’t mean that as an insult - it’s just that Connie is at JFK. It’s in a vintage plane on the tarmac at the TWA terminal, and if you’re looking to kill some time because your flight got delayed several hours, it’s a great place to hang out. The interior of the plane looks like it’s stuck in the year 1961, there are some snacks like meat and cheese, and the cocktails are actually pretty good. Hands down, it’s the best bar at JFK - which isn’t really saying a lot, but you should still check it out." - Bryan Kim
"A meticulously restored 1958 Lockheed Constellation L‑1649A has been converted into an intimate cocktail lounge, complete with four banquettes, reupholstered vintage airplane seats, and a restored cockpit (open for children to explore); reservations are recommended but walk‑in seats are sometimes held, and the menu includes kid‑friendly options such as Shirley Temples." - Lyndsey Matthews
"Framed as an airplane cocktail lounge called the Connie, this themed bar is presented as one of the TWA Hotel's signature spots among its new dining offerings." - Carla Vianna
"Housed in a restored 60-year-old airplane known as Connie—the aircraft that broke the transcontinental speed record in 1946 and one of only four left in the world—the space has been transformed into a cocktail bar with drinks and snacks served from its 744-square-foot cabin; Connie received a 1950s TWA branding makeover and was even hauled through Times Square before arriving at JFK, and reservations are now being taken." - Carla Vianna
