"How did it strike you on arrival?Slick, gleaming, discrete and appropriate to its upscale Magnificent Mile locale. There's an eye-catching lobby sculptural installation that looks like leaves falling to the ground that makes a great introduction to the hotel's stellar art (think Frank Stella, Donald Judd). What’s the crowd like?Business travelers with generous budgets, and shopaholics with designer tastes. The good stuff: Tell us about your room.Stimulation and serenity in balance. Geometric pattern carpeting and interesting modernist art add zest to the rooms' sleek, mid-century look with adequate space to include a window-side couch, table, and chair that lend residential ease even in the entry-level Superior Room. We’re craving some deep, restorative sleep. They got us?There's very cozy bedding, with loads of pillows and easy-to-reach plugs for digital devices on bedside built-in nightstand. How about the little things, like mini bar, or shower goodies. Any of that worth a mention? It's impossible to ignore all the great art, including prints, photographs, and tabletop sculptures, plus loads of natural light through the floor-to-ceiling windows to illuminate them. There are also generous closets and the Nespresso coffeemaker is a plus. Please tell us the bathroom won’t let us down. It's sleek, with polished stone vanities, modernist fixtures, and a spacious walk-in shower. Maybe the most important topic of all: Wi-Fi. What’s the word?Good Wi-Fi and included. Room service: What's it like here?Whether you call for room service or text for it, dishes manage to arrive hot, a not-so-common state. You can even get craft cocktails from the super lobby bar Baptiste & Bottle if you don't have the energy to change out of your bathrobe. Staff: If you could award one a trophy, who gets it?This is a collective star for the staffers who text to see if all is well after check-in, and the text and app services that make communication breezy. What'd we miss? You should get out of your bathrobe and head down to Baptiste & Bottle; it's worth the trip. It specializes in bourbon cocktails and American dishes, like cheddar and chive biscuits and triple-seared New York strip steaks. There's also a rooftop sushi bar with panoramic views, and a ground-level coffee-focused café to cover all your basic food and beverage needs. What was most memorable about your stay? The great cocktails in the lobby bar are worth the trip alone. Bottom line: Why are we booking here?Lovers of design and elevated drinks will embrace the Conrad." - Elaine Glusac

This hotel was absolutely amazing. This was our first visit to the property, but absolutely won't be the last. The room was impeccable, and the bathroom was fabulous. Double vanity, separate water closet, and a beautiful standing shower. The bed was comfortable, the view was great, and the other room amenities were great! The staff were wonderful and allowed us to check out at 6pm for a nominal fee - wow! They even gave us a complementary bottle of wine (thanks Erica) to celebrate my husband's job change - the reason we were taking the trip to begin with. The only thing I could say was less-than-wonderful would be the continental breakfast. It was free with my HH status, so I can't complain too much. But having stayed at many other Hilton properties, it was one of the more lackluster offerings. What was there was decent, though. Overall, 5/5 and would absolutely stay again.

Google
TOP NOTCH SERVICE! The service of the staff at Conrad were outstanding! From the moment I stepped into the hotel until the moment I left, they ensured my experience was top priority. Aside from the service, every detail about the hotel made my stay comforting. I stayed in king bed room which was very spacious. There was a lot of closet space and counter space. The room has a small fridge, Nespresso machine, and water. The king bed was very comfortable. I slept well every night. There were extra pillows in the closet if you needed more. The bathroom was large and well lit. It was great for doing my makeup. The location was within walking distance to most shopping and restaurants.

Beautiful room was nicely appointed and had a large TV. Very quiet. Bathroom was lovely with double sinks. The bed was very comfortable... great linens. Enough closet space. Refrigerator is in a "drawer" which is neat, but it didn't keep anything very cold. Staff was friendly. Problem checking in with credit card machine which didn't work. Have eaten at the restaurant before (not this visit) and it's "ok" but overpriced for what you get. If you get a good room rate here, this is an outstanding hotel choice. Hotel parking is a rip-off... we parked a block away for half the price.

We have stayed here the last couple years when in Chicago. We mentioned when booking that we were celebrating our anniversary and had a personalized note in our room from staff. Hotel is beautiful. Staff is friendly. Room is beautiful and bed was very comfortable. Location is great. No complaints. Rooftop bar has great views.

Google
Incredibly accommodating hotel. We arrived early at the airport and they were able to check us in at about 9:30AM. The hotel staff is extremely friendly and helpful as well. You really feel like they care about the guest experience here. The rooms are clean/modern and that bathroom was wonderfully spacious with a large bathtub. Beds/pillows are superbly comfortable. Most room controls (blackout shades, lights, etc) are controllable through panel on the wall. Lastly, we were able to secure late checkout without any charge as well on our last morning there. Can't say enough about this hotel. It's definitely the best one I've stayed at in Chicago.

Google
My wife and I always enjoy our stay here. The staff at the front door were pleasant, but the bar staff on the roof were hurried and didn't make you feel very welcome. It seemed as though they had plenty of time to talk top each other, but would only check with you every 25-30 min. The rooms of course were amazing and modern. Hotel-5 stars Bar-2 stars

Google
I love this place. The staff is superb. The rooms excellent. The business center floor I just love going to to look at the view and the art. I once spent 2 hours there just to relax. Don't forget to stop at the roof top restaurant (weather permitted). Just an all around great place from beginning to end.

Google
Beautiful hotel with lots of modern accommodations. If your looking for a nice place to stay this is a good option. The appliances in the room were all brand new, HD TVs etc. Only reason I'm not leaving 5 stars is the lack of on-site dining. There's a continental breakfast for 19$/person (free for "Platinum Hilton members) but it's just plane not worth it. Fortunately you have a number of decent bars and dining options nearby, just don't waste your time/money at the on-site restaurant.

Yelp
Great hotel! Awesome location. Rooms were clean and staff are very friendly. It is super noisy though. Would be great to update windows to help with noise. Cars honking etc.

Alice-Anne A.

Yelp
Very nice luxurious hotel! Lobby is on the 20th floor and several staff welcome you upon entry from the ground level. Having lobby up high seems to keep non-guests from lingering around. Makes for very safe feeling hotel. Guest rooms are very nice with large updated bathrooms. Rooftop bar & restaurant are nice. Parking is $70/ night.

Yelp
I can't say enough nice things about the Conrad Chicago. After a failed Airbnb rental, my friends and I were stranded without adequate accommodations and found the Conrad Chicago via Hotwire deal. They were able to locate our reservation and get us checked in within the hour we booked our Hotwire reservation. The location is amazing and is just a stone's throw from the Magnificent Mile. The room was tastefully designed and modern. It seems like almost everything was contemplated - except maybe friends sharing the room. (The shower door was see through.) There was an espresso machine, along with a fridge. No microwaves unfortunately. The Conrad takes into account all the things you may want or need on vacation - including wonderfully smelling, aromatherapy toiletries, comfy bathrobes, and a bed that is to die for. (I usually complain about hotel beds.) Everyone on here raves about the customer service, and our trip was no exception. Arti at the front desk was so accommodating and gracious about getting us checked in. We had a minor issue with the shower door being dirty, and they sent someone who cleaned the shower immediately. As if that wasn't enough, Casey, their head of housekeeping, called to apologize about the situation. (I didn't think it warranted a telephone apology, but I appreciated it nonetheless.) The concierge (sorry, I didn't get his name) was helpful and provided great recommendations. I will *definitely* stay at the Conrad again. Thanks, Conrad, for helping make our girls weekend an amazing one.

Yelp
Allow me to start off with the first impression, after all that is the one that counts right? Well as soon as you walk up to the entrance doors, there was a line (soldier lined) of warm welcoming staff members all uniformed in their Conrad Gear. They all welcome you, I almost ran out of breath after thanking each and every one of them for thanking me. I love the cleanliness and polished appearance of the first floor. My husband and I took the elevator (which was already waiting for us) we went up to the 20th Lobby floor. They already knew we were coming and the front desk had my Conrad Teddy Bear waiting for me. I had been in contact via Yelp with Amelia, the manager, and we made arrangements for me to stop by and get this cute little furry friend of mine. The decor is beautiful and the 20th floor has some amazing views of the city with high floor to ceiling glass. Super nice and we will surely come back for a dinner and cocktails at another time. The service was excellent and we sure felt welcomed. If you want to stay near Michael can Ave and get a feel for the Gold Coast, this is your spot. You will be treated like royalty and it's highly recommended.

Eric J.

Yelp
My wife and I have been to the restaurant that is attached to the hotel. It has an incredible curb appeal. The architecture and decor is very tasteful. The 20th floor lobby has amazing views and a very nice stairway that allows you to step up or down from those two floors (20th to 19th). I am looking into making dinner plans to bring my wife in within the next two weeks. We were very pleased with our experience yesterday, and their greeting staff that greets you at the front entrance were very well coordinated with their attire and were very nice and welcoming. I want to give kudos to Manager Amelia for taking care of my wife with a gift she purchased. She went the extra mile and my wife is quite happy.

Yelp
One of my favorite hotels! I'm always treated special. I suppose it's because of my Diamond status. However, I like to think it's more of my sparkling personality. (lol) They give me complementary upgrades, gifts, free food, drinks! They even go so far as to have private tastings in the back of the restaurant for me. Every night they place two bottles of top shelf whiskey on a cart next to my table. It's really something! The staff knows me by name. They always open the car/ front door. I rarely recieve this level of service anymore. It's a clear reflection of the way this hotel is Managed.

Yelp
This was my first experience in a Conrad hotel and I chose it based on reviews. What an experience. It's a high-end, modern hotel with the lobby on the highest floor, something I'd never experienced. Everything in the room is digital, from the curtains, lights, and the door controls. Even room service can be called with a button. TV was a large flat screen with an impeccable picture. I felt like every detail was so well appointed. It was fabulous. Baptiste and Bottle was fantastic and room service exceeded my expectations. The bathroom lighting was varied and digital as well. HUGE bathroom with a separate room for the toilet and shower. Was easy to spread out in a regular room. Service was great, too. The staff was consistently helpful and attentive. I was so pleased to have chosen this place, for the first time to be what I needed to relax. Also, felt very safe because staff are stationed at the entrance and the lobby isn't on the first floor. You'd have to know where you're going....super important for solo female travelers. My new favorite hotel in Chicagoland and definitely my choice for local staycations when I need to escape my neighborhood for a few days and relish downtown. Nicely done, Conrad Chicago.

Yelp
The rooms in this hotel are gorgeous. We walked into this hall with big black tile and a huge wardrobe. To the side was a big sliding mirror thay opened to a huge vanity with double sink, shower to the right and a glazed glass door with toilet to the left. Big comfy bed with a massive television. The lights and blinds are all on a touchscreen pad on the walls, very cool. I was lucky enough to go with a hilton member and get a great deal. There is a rooftop bar/restaurant. I assumed it was expensive and low on vegan options so we only went up for the vegan. It is interesting because the lobby is on the 20th floor and guest rooms are below. Since it is on the north side you can avoid some of the major traffic areas but are close enough to Michigan ave and Lake Shore drive. I have only a few complaints. The cleaner missed a big wad of hair from the last visitors, we got points in return. Always our upgraded room on the 14th floor was not ready at our check in time and we were put kn the 11th floor which did not have much of a view. It is quite fancy so I presume regular priced rooms are expensive. Overall though I really enjoyed my stay!

Yelp
My family and I (three separate couples) just stayed here over Thanksgiving and absolutely loved our stay! The hotel re-opened in this new location just two years ago and it is clear that they spared no expense with the renovations. The entire property is extremely clean and every staff member we interacted with was beyond friendly and helpful. Shoutout to William at the front desk for going above and beyond to make sure our stay was as fantastic as possible. David and Enning also greeted us with smiles and assisted us every single time we exited and entered the building. The rooms were spotless and spacious and we loved the high tech features, including digital controls for all lighting and curtains. Housekeeping was also prompt and thorough. Lastly, were also very impressed by how quiet the property was despite the busy location. We will absolutely be back!

Yelp
Nice, comfortable, quiet room. Nice views. Pleasant fragrance in elevators. Great Nespresso coffees in room. Fine toiletries products in bathroom. Great and big screen TV in room.

Yelp
#Fancy. #Extra. Exceptional service, convenient location and lovely stay at the Conrad Chicago. This is what a hotel stay should always be like. The lobby/check in is on the 20th floor with beautiful skyline views of Chicago. We arrived at about noon and pre-checked in, leaving our bags before heading out. Received a text at about 3pm letting us know our room waready. We didn't get back to the hotel until after 8pm. Went to check in- keys ready and bags already in our room! Yes! The lobby bar was pricey, 10 drinks (between 4 people) and a small bowl of nuts= $200 without tip yet. Be prepared, all lighting controls are electronically controlled. Bedside window sheets and blackout curtain controls are super convenient. We had a corner king room that looked into the same type of room at an angle- make sure to close your curtains. 8/2018 Stayed for a weekend and for a Cubs game. If you haven't join their rewards program- DO IT!!! Original reserved a site then got upgraded - for free - to the Presidential Suite!! It was amazing!!! Bigger than my first apartment for sure. Half bath and plenty of closet space. Pull out couch that fit 3 very comfortably, an additional sitting area and dining area. Only downside- in the dining area there wasn't any trash can- had to go into the bedroom or bathroom to throw away anything. Temperature control in both the living room area and bedroom is separate- perfect to make it comfortable for everyone. Floor to ceiling windows allow for a beautiful view of Chicago. Ordered rooms service for breakfast- wonderful! I'm a sucker for tiny condiments and had plenty!

Lalo R.

Yelp
Arrived here for 2 night stay during Dodger vs Cubs week... location is right in the middle of lots of shops and restaurants and night life. Upon arriving I was escorted to lobby elevator as check in is on 20th floor. Arrived to check in was offered some water bottles as it was extremely hot this day. Host went over amenities etc etc and got me under my way to my room. Superior king has huge bed... huge.. room very clean and everything you need... even complementary water bottles and Nespresso coffee maker... Nice big shower and double vanity sink.. plus extra toilettes if needed in closet.. tooth brush. Sewing kit, etc etc. Very nice touch.. If Hilton honors member you can use digital key... very tech forward hotel.. Rooftop restaurant must see and eat. So is Lobby bar. Highly recommended

Steve R.

Yelp
Great hotel and fabulous location. The location is amazing and central to everything. The rooms are modern retro? Very cool and hip kind of vibe. The only complaint was check in was supposed to be at 3pm but they were late which is really annoying when you wait for the room. Also the frigid weather was really tough on the hotel as the ground floor lobby was ass cold. The elevator lobby was freezing and that is a engineering issue but only seasonal. It's a 5 Star location and nothing but upside.

Ali C.

Yelp
Beautiful hotel for meetings and events. Extraordinary service. The hors d'oeuvres were delicious. Tuna tartare, lamb meatballs, vegetarian sushi were all excellent. Drinks were great as well, but the service attitude and attentiveness really stood head and shoulders above other hotels.

Meghan M.

Yelp
This place is fantastic service and quality for the price. Got this hotel for one night for a work trip. I had booked two queens, but the attendant kindly upgraded me to a king when i checked in. The upstairs bar is pricey but good. The bathrooms are amazing- separated toilet and shower areas with aromatherapy toiletries which i always love. There's a fridge in all the rooms and automatic lights which are huge pluses in my book. My room had a little breakfast nook which was perfect for sipping espresso from your in room Nespresso machine while you work. My only complaint is that the internet and service were poor in the room so you pretty much had to leave the room to get service. My coworkers had the same issue as well. I will say, the service is great. I wanted to store food during the day and the hotel concierge didn't have an issue with it-- very accommodating. Would definitely stay there again-- way better than the NY Conrad in my opinion.

Arlene M.

Yelp
This is a remarkable hotel just steps away from the Magnificent Mile and easy walking distance to many landmarks. We were greeted very warmly and directed to the 20th floor for check in. As others have noted there are spectacular views of the city from that floor and a winding staircase that leads to a lounging area below. The business center is located on this floor as well. We had a fairly easy check in and had a valet bring our luggage to our room. The key is unique. In order to get to a particular floor outside of the 20th floor lobby or the ground floor you must tap it against a circular disc and then choose your floor. It works the same way with your room. The valet explained everything in detail including the complimentary items that you may have forgotten on your packing list, shoe shine, as well as the traditional bathrobes and slippers you may borrow during your visit. There are at least 4 cupboards with storage space, closet spaces drawers, and a safe to store your valuables in. These cupboards are located immediately to your left in our case as you come in. From there you head into the main bedroom. Once you enter the main bedroom there is a huge TV in the center along with a very long table that angled to your right with outlets for your laptop, etc. Everything is electronically controlled by the various buttons in different parts of your room including your blinds and lighting. The bathroom is state of the art consisting of two sinks, toilet, and a large shower area. There is no bathtub which I came to understand is the new trend these days. The shower was warm and inviting. For privacy both the entrance to the bathroom and the toilet area have sliding doors. The room also comes with an expresso/coffee machine and in the drawer below are your cups as well as your Keurig style blends for the machine. Teabags are also available. Below that is a mini fridge. Our valet was very nice enough to get ice for us as well as extra water since we had traveled a long distance. They also provide you with an extra blanket in case you get cold and you can self adjust your room temperature. You would find the blanket in the upper part of one of the cupboards. Also the room is small but long enough so one doesn't feel cramped. The room was impeccable clean and fresh however, it wasn't until we went to bed that I noticed what our room lacked. Having two queen beds was nice and there were lamps on the far side of each bed but no lamp in the center. Yes, there was overhead lighting but not enough to light up the center area. In addition, the center nightstand had no drawer in it and neither did the side stands nor the long tables under the TV nor off to the right. There was a settee right under the TV but we found it useless. It appeared we had a corner room since there was a comfortable chair to unwind in there. The beds were very comfortable to sleep in. The only thing on the center stand was a clock with a jack for an MP3 or IPhone to play your own music. The phone was located across the room near the TV. Therefore if we wanted a wake up call then we would actually have to find a light (which is a bit hard to do with the electronic board) get up and walk to the phone. Also we had to lay everything out that wasn't needed on one of the table tops in order to sleep. I ended up using one of small drawers in the cupboard in order to store these small items when not in use. I really didn't like the fact I had to walk over to the cupboard area just to stow these things and remember where I had placed them. They weren't valuable but the usual stuff one would need to have handy. It took us a while to find the bathroom outlets since they were "hidden" by the towels hanging on the racks. Although not needed a shaving/makeup portable mirror would have added a nice touch. Mounted to the wall would have been a nice touch. I did like the fact that you have a doorbell entry and you can press a button for privacy and to have the room made up. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Time did not permit us to dine there or check out the fitness area but I'm sure we would have been pleased with their services. Valet parking is $70.00 per day and it runs in 24 hour cycles from the time of arrival. This is a wonderful hotel with great location and excellent customer service. Even though we weren't far from Northwestern Memorial we were seldom disturbed by ambulances. However, little things do matter on a trip and it is very easy to overlook until the time comes that you need them. I would definitely recommend they put a lamp between the two beds along with a 2nd phone and add drawers to the nightstands as well as one in the work station area. I mostly definitely would stay here again since the pros definitely outweigh the cons.

Kischa J.

Yelp
I usually don't give hotels 5 stars, but absolutely loved this place. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, we were well taken care of. Every time we came and went, we were asked if they could help us in any way. Those little things mean a lot. Our check-in experience was wonderful. We arrived at 9 am and were pretty sure we wouldn't be able to check in until the afternoon. That wasn't the case. We were assigned a wonderful room right away and given a few bottles of water to take up with us. The room was really a cut above in all senses. The bathroom was really modern and beautiful and the room was comfortable and luxurious. It was one of the few times that I felt a room was truly clean - mirrors, bathroom, remotes. This germaphobe was in heaven. I won't even go into all of the great shopping within a stone's throw - everything from TJ Maxx to Burberry and Bloomingdales. You can't go wrong. There's something for every budget. I'm sure there are other nice hotels in Chicago, but when I come back this summer, I'm staying here.

Doug L.

Yelp
Perfect Location. Luxury to the nines. Rooms are very spacious and clean. Staff is very friendly. Greeted at the door every time I go in and out of the hotel. Continental breakfast with hot eggs and bacon was great for the one day they did it. (Hope they continue with it) David S. In the restaurant went above and beyond with his hospitality. Thank you for great stay Conrad Staff. Highly recommend.

Yelp
Pack your stylish overnight bag (ask me for my brand recommendations), and head to your nearest luxury accommodation and give your self the time it needs to rejuvenate. The customer service at these establishments is unparalleled. It is a rare feat to find people who genuinely love to serve others and find joy in making sure others are treated like royalty.  The lobby here (and at almost all of the other hotels in Chicago) isn't the assumed ground floor lobby. Perched on the 20th floor overlooking the beautiful Gold Coast/Streeterville neighborhoods, this lobby presents an understated feeling of modern opulence. From the moment you step through the doors, you are greeted with sir/mam, Mr. Jackson, etc. It's the lost art of respect.  Once they hook you in with the A+mazing customer service, the next thing to blow your mind is the beautiful, expertly designed decor.  This is the ultimate accommodation for any visitor. Yelp
The only reason I gave this hotel 4 stars is because of the loud disturbance by the elevator entrance on our floor. Our room was literally around the corner of the elevator and on one particular late afternoon, someone was just blasting music for a whole hour near the elevator. We also asked for a microwave before arriving and never did we ever get one. It was also one of my girl's birthday weekend and they said they'd get her room ready with a complimentary wine bottle, but it didn't show until 3 hours later after when we were all getting ready and about to leave for the busy night life in DT Chicago. Sounds were definitely soundproof between walls, but not the window. You can literally hear ambulance sirens going off every 30minutes-1hour. Cars honking. Despite us being on the 9th floor, you can still hear all of that busy noise. Overall, the room is huge and has wonderful views. Loved the separate walk in shower. Just weird to have had glass doors for both toilet and showers... Could use a little more privacy especially if you're traveling with others, but us ladies made it work. Loved the huge closets in the hall way. More than enough room to store your suitcases and clothes. However, very small fridge that pulls out from the drawer. Would have loved a slightly bigger fridge so we can keep our water and other alcohol cool. This hotel also has a rooftop lounge which is a little more on the smaller side. The ambience is more casual and quiet. If you're looking to just enjoy a good and quiet time with small company, this would be where you'd go. My most favorite part about this particular hotel is how clean our room was from returning the next afternoon. Whoever their house keeper is who came and cleaned room 905, I give her so much props! Lol. She organized all of our shoes and put them together and even checked the sizes before putting them together. She cleaned up our whole bathroom vanity sink and placed everything nicely and neatly back on the sink. She made sure my glasses were put in the living area so I don't misplace it when coming back. I kid you not, our vanity sink was a mess even though we attempted at putting most of our stuff back into our travel bags, but she finished up the rest. Our shoes and heels were taken off all around the room and they were all neatly put back together in one particular area. I give their housekeeper 5/5!

Yelp
It was my first time in Chicago and i decided on this hotel based on location and ratings. Awesome service, very clean rooms, close to everything. Definitely a 5 star hotel. Totally recommend staying here if you are new in town and planning on walking to all the nearby restaurants and shops.

Amanda W.

Yelp
My family and I enjoy staying at 21 c museum hotels as often as possible when we travel. This 22 c is a complete disappointment. While the facility is fine, it's nothing special. the service is horrendous. I had to beg to get any kind of housekeeping over a multiple day stay, calling and requesting it multiple times. a number of the staff members seem to truly not care at all about service. On the first day, we requested the green penguin magnet to add to our collection. The deeply apathetic front desk person looked for a minute and said there were none. The next morning, we asked the young man working the desk and he was able to track them down for us in under 5 minutes. If we had known that the Chicago location didn't stack up to the others, we would have skipped it and stayed somewhere better (wouldn't be hard to find in terms of service).

C H.

Yelp
Service is tops at this location. Interesting that the lobby and checkin is on the very top floor. You pull up, a doorman greats you, takes your name and walks you to the elevator. Top floor is full of views and a warm greeting. The rooms were stocked, everything is electronic shades, lights, privacy everything. Soft bed, small desk with leather chair, shower is gorgeous. Complimentary waters in the fridge drawer, complimentary shoe shine, in room safe, I was ready to move on in!

Yelp
Poor service No valet No proper welcome everyone on the phone Double booking Smelly dusty room Just a big fat NO

Yelp
I've heard and read how classy the Conrad was, but until you experience it yourself, do you really know. Don't be fooled by the sleek and unassuming downstairs lobby. The 20th floor lobby is decked out and ready to welcome you. Rest your weary feet in some of the comfy seats or enjoy a drink at Baptiste and Bottle. The rooms are modern and comfortable with amenities that would make it hard to leave. Everything seems to be available at the touch of a button or is a phone call away. We were able to get hair ties (two kinds!), wine bottle openers, wine glasses... Was tempted to call to see what else we'd be able to get! Everything was clean and inviting. The TV screens were clean, crisp, and large! Even just watching the rotating views of Chicago on the resting screen was relaxing! It was a luxurious experience without feeling overdone or over the top. Thanks to the Conrad for the experience!

Yelp
This is an outstanding property, right in the heart of magnificent mile. As a Hilton Diamond, I spend a lot of nights on the road. This property would easily fit into my top 5 list of best properties I've stayed at for work. They have a doorman that brings any deliveries (i.e. food, etc.) directly to your room. The elevators are extremely fast. The rooms are spectacular, with 65 inch Samsung TV's in each room with an extremely comfortable bed. I would definitely stay here again. If this property is overpriced the week you want to visit, I would recommend a similar property, the LondonHouse, which is also under the Hilton brand and just a few blocks down and of similar elegance.

Yelp
Nice hotel and good location, but outside was very loud through the night that I woke up multiple times. The room wasn't big, but it was decent. Nice view with big TV. We dined at the restaurant, but it wasn't my favorite. The food was mediocre and not reasonable.

Yelp
Not the best hotel experience for me, and I haven't even got into my room yet. Admittedly the reservation was under my friend's name, but even after that got rectified, I was informed the room would not be ready for another 1.5 hrs. Oh and while I'm welcome to wait, I don't have wifi access anywhere in the hotel until I'm officially checked into my room But they were polite through the whole thing

Yelp
So take this review with a grain of salt as I got engaged here...but I travel and entertain a lot for work and have stayed at some of the nicest hotels in the world and the Conrad ranks in the top 3 at a minimum. This hotel is so service focused with EVERY single employee ensuring that our stay was enjoyable. It is exactly what you would expect out of a hip urban hotel, mind you we stayed in one of the 24 suites but I can only assume the experience isn't any different in the regular rooms. After dinner we hit the lobby bar and our girl Azrhiel was like the best bartender ever...if you want a luxury stay in the city, this is the place to go. Stay here now.

Yelp
I loved this hotel. Beautifully done from the lobby to the rooms. We almost skipped our dinner reservations just to hang out in our room for longer. Staff were friendly and attentive.

Yelp
You'd think for such a nice hotel they'd have a smart TV Or at least a tv that worked.

Yelp
We are living this hotel. Super clean, lovely and comfortable. The rooms are fairly spacious and the beds are very comfortable. Everything updated with buttons to push for just about everything...the bar on the 20th floor is great. Good beer, whiskey, bourbon selection. We ordered the charcuterie tray and were impressed. Do fresh and beautifully presented. They served the delicious toast points in a warm bowl. Excellent customer service. Also loved the fresh floral arrangements. We will be back.

Yelp
Gorgeous, clean, updated hotel in the center of everything. Walking distance to the water tower, restaurants and much more shopping. Everyone is very professional and friendly. I would absolutely recommend this hotel. Everything was prefect. They also have a great work out room. The valet staff I must mention as well because they are absolutely wonderful!

Yelp
The Conrad was amazing! Right now this is my favorite hotel in Chicago. I loved the amenities. I loved loved my door bell. Yes I said doorbell. The technology is very innovated. It reminds me of another hotel I stayed at in Chicago ( I will not mention it's name until 2020 ) The staff was friendly, professional and very friendly. My experience at the restaurant was not pleasant but because I'm in love with hotel I can make it work. I'm looking forward to spring and summer to experience the rooftop!

Yelp
The hotel was absolutely luxurious & prestine. The view was spectacular and staff was friendly. Only downfall was my friend got burned by the shower, had an issue with thd handle & water pressure, over my experience for myself was amazing. I would deff come back & recommend to friends and family.

Yelp
Stayed here for work in the Fall. Elegant hotel in the heart of Chicago. Very convenient location, attentive staff, HUGE bedrooms, comfy beds and a great rooftop bar where the lobby is also located with 360 degree views of Chicago. Stunning.

Yelp
This is a really great place! My girls and I did a staycation in the city and it was lovely. The service was AMAZING! It was St. Patrick's Day so it was partying going on everywhere. My favorite part of the stay was how comfortable the beds were and how state of the art the bathrooms are. I cannot wait until I stay at Conrad again, this is one of my favorite hotels in the city. Also, if you stay here check out the restaurant but make sure you check meal times because before 5pm they have small bites and if you're really hungry you might want to do room service instead.

Yelp
Worst experience ever. Called the hotel regarding some urgent issue and have to modify the reservation. The operator could not solve my issue but the manager was not willing to have the flexibility to help. NEVER going to stay in any Conrad franchise ever again.

Yelp
Beautiful views of the city from the lobby! We love the location of the Conrad. Within walking distance to amazing restaurants, shopping and nightlife. The bar in the hotel has a great selection of cocktails. Loved our experience and will be staying again in the future!

Yelp
Hotel is very nice aesthetically, front desk girl who checked us in very friendly/professional. BEWARE if you are driving it is a $70 parking/valet fee, if you want to park in a lot it's $35-$40 this is addition to the cost of your hotel stay. When we called to get our car we were told it would take 10-15 mins, we waited for almost 30. Also when we went for breakfast in the hotel (again very beautiful/well decorated) no one was at the host area to greet us, so we finally just sat ourselves. Then no one came over to help us/give us menus for at least 10-15 mins, while the staff still served others around us. Avocado toast was delicious, lox bagel was old and salmon was fishy (don't waste your time). All and all would not recommend. Management needs to step up on service/settling proper expectations with guests.

Yelp
Good hotel with great customer service. Not the most luxury you'll ever find, but pretty solid. My room was adequately sized with a very big bathroom and very big TV. The view from my room wasn't amazing but the rooftop and lobby area have pretty good views. Location is great and fairly central to many things - the lake, river, Millennium Park, Michigan Avenue is next door for some shopping, River North/Gold Coast restaurants, shopping, and nightlife, Gold Coast, the train isn't too far, etc. It's downtown so if you are flying in and renting a car, then you're doing it all wrong and don't know Chicago well enough. I used to live a few blocks north so I know the area well, and it's very well located. Definitely made me miss my former home. Of course, I will always recommend to get outside of downtown upon your visit to Chicago too but this is a good base to explore from.

Yelp
This is a beautiful hotel with excellent customer service. The front desk clerks were highly professional and hospitable. The lobby is on the 20th floor with gorgeous floor to ceiling windows. All the guest rooms are below the lobby. Our room was spacious, which is hard to find in Chicago. The beds were some of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in. The pillows were divine. The shower was huge and the towels were plush. The only thing that bugged me were the lights in the room. It was all sleek touch panels with small writing on the panels. I couldn't figure out what button turned what light on and off. They have a nice rooftop bar and the views any where you go-your room, the lobby or the rooftop were amazing. This is a modern 5 star place. I'll be back.

Yelp
We came here for a weekend getaway from Seattle and had the best experience! The staff are so welcoming and helpful. Our flight arrived early in the morning and we were able to drop off our suitcases, have breakfast then a room was ready around 10:30! We weren't expecting a room to be ready until regular check-in at 3pm so we were thrilled. The staff regularly checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed. We had a great view of the city from our suite, the rooms are very spacious with TVs in the living room and bedroom. The shades were nice for privacy and the blackout curtains were perfect! We had lunch at the restaurant downstairs which was a nice treat and the new sushi rooftop restaurant was a great nightcap after dinner our first night. I would recommend checking out both! Wish we had brunch at the restaurant on the 20th floor but will have to go next time. Overall, great experience especially location wise. We walked to the bean and the pier (15-20 minutes), the weather was beautiful so it was worth it! We took the red line back from the Cubs game which was convenient and much cheaper than a Lyft. Thank you Conrad Chicago for a great time!

Yelp
Beautiful hotel in the heart of the city. Modern in design and the staff is super friendly. Offers a restaurant upstairs with an amazing view. Only drawback is that it's located near the local hospital...sirens are very common through the night.

Yelp
Disappointing start to my stay. I called and asked if a early check in would be available an hour before the original check in time, was told it shouldn't be a problem but that I'd have to come in and pre-register. 10 mins later i head over from the office and surprise there's no longer a room available. But guess why for an additional charge we can put you in a lesser room that's available. I'd of expected a bit more effort as the Conrad is supposed to a higher end property in the Hilton portfolio. And your Hilton status has no merit here.

Yelp
We pulled up and the vallet staff was some of the nicest guys. They offered us bottled water. Then we went to check in and they offered us bottled water. Then proceeded to tell us the bottled water in our room was free. I knew instantly that my fiance was gonna have to pee every 5 minutes this trip. The bed was super comfy. The tv was yuuuge! We got a great deal on groupon. They even let us keep our car parked there til 5 pm on the day we checked out. This will be my hotel of choice next time I go to chicago. Its centered to everything.

Yelp
We will never stay at the Conrad again and maybe never a Hilton property after this stay. My husband took me to The Conrad for the weekend to celebrate my 50th birthday but there was no celebration after I slipped in the bathroom and was taken out in an ambulance with a bloody head after hitting it on the lip of the shower. Not one call from the hotel or Hilton to see if I was alive or dead. When my husband was checking our they tried to recharge his credit card too. This was our favorite, go to hotel in downtown Chicago. Sad that they don't have any customer service sense whatsoever.

Yelp
I really wanted to love this hotel. Based on the pictures and reviews I was confident that this was going to be an excellent stay. Unfortunately our experience was not so great. We had to change our own sheets on our bed because there was pubic hair in the sheets and housekeeping was not there. I have been trying to get in touch with lost and found because an item was left and all I keep getting told is to submit a ticket online. It is very frustrating.

Yelp
I've stayed here several times. The rooms are pretty consistent, quiet and clean. The bathrooms have plenty of counter space. When I checked in today, the front desk staff must have been "in training" as the women who was helping me didn't seem to know the pros and cons of various rooms, when I asked for an upgrade. The location is super convenient - close to Eataly!

Yelp
Gorgeous restaurant/bar Very good menu and food. Competent and courteous staff. I truly recommend this place! And +Very nice lower level outdoor heated area.
