Conspagna Ethiopian Restaurant

One of the finest and authentic Ethiopian restaurants in Seattle!! Everything we ate was delicious. I would recommend the veggie platter and the meat platter (called Metebaber, off the menu).

Conspagna is one of my favorite Ethiopian restaurants in Seattle! The food is authentic and full of flavor. My top picks are the Tibs and Kurt (raw meat) — both were absolutely delicious and prepared just right. If you’re a fan of Ethiopian cuisine, this place is the right one. A big shoutout to our wonderful waitress, Jerry. She was so kind, attentive, and made our dining experience even better with her warm and friendly service. Later in the evening, DJ Koffi’s selection was on point — her taste in music is smooth and thoughtful, creating a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere that perfectly matched the evening. Overall, Conspagna offers great food, excellent service, and a relaxing, enjoyable environment. Highly recommend!

Great Ethiopian food! The server, Luel, was super kind and fast. If you're in a hurry, make sure to call and order ahead ’cause it’s gonna take forever.

visited this restaurant during the ESFNA 2025 tournament in Seattle. While the food was undeniably good — I had a vegetarian conspagna dish that was well-prepared and flavorful — the prices were just way too high. I ended up paying far more than expected for a single vegetarian meal. It felt like they were taking advantage of out-of-town visitors. Great taste, but please stop milking your customers.

The food was very yummy and i tried their special!! They did not have a Pina Colada despite it being stated on the menu nor the two dessert options which was Tiramisu and Baklava ! They’ve been open 4 months so i hope they stay and grow!!

I found the menu prices here to be significantly higher compared to other Ethiopian restaurants, yet the food itself is fairly average. For example, Tibs is priced at $30, while most other places charge between $19–$22. Additionally, the service felt inattentive—waitstaff often stay at the cashier rather than checking on guests, and you have to approach them to request anything. They usually come only once during the meal, leaving you to chase them if you need anything further. The portion sizes are also smaller compared to other restaurants. It seems counterproductive to have such high prices without delivering a stronger dining experience. Focusing on fair pricing and attentive service could help build better customer relationships and loyalty. Not recommended if you’re looking for authentic Ethiopian food. The prices are significantly higher than other restaurants, the portions are small, and the food is fairly average. Service is inattentive—you often have to track down staff yourself. Overall, it doesn’t feel worth the cost.

Found this new place with fab reviews on Google maps and decided to drop by for lunch -- highly recommended! The space is clean and cozy, great vibes and decor. Great service and amazing food!!! Huge portions and really flavorful dishes, great to share with a group and watch games or just chill. We got the veggie platter and their grilled beef, both were delicious. Easy and plenty of parking in the adjacent lot too

I’ve had the pleasure of visiting Conspagna a few times now, and I’m truly amazed! The setup and decoration are beautifully done—it feels like being back home in Ethiopia. The food is absolutely incredible, with so many popular and delicious dishes that bring back wonderful memories. Every bite is full of authentic flavors, and it’s clear how much thought and care has gone into everything. This is more than just a restaurant—it’s a piece of home. Congratulations on such a well-done job! I’ll definitely keep coming back and spreading the word.
