Love live love this coffee shop. I bought so much stuff the first time I went. I highly recommend the tostada trio if you want to try some typical street snacks from Guatemala. The atole azul was so yummy and any coffee is super good. I ended up buying some coffee beans and champurradas to take home. I will definitely be going back there to try some other stuff on the menu. I just wished I lived a little closer.

Google
Quiet enough to read yet home to beautiful community. Very kind staff. Every bite, every sip was beautiful and flavorful. Each table is surrounded by locally created (and affordable!) art. Don't skip the jars of botanical scents near the espresso machine - makes the flavors of the coffee jump off your tongue. We wouldn't change a moment. Thank you for serving the community! 🌼🌿

Google
Amazing bilingual café with delicious drinks, friendly service, and a cozy atmosphere. They source all of their coffee from Guatemala, I tried the cortadito with oat milk and it was great!! You can tell that this café is very involved with the community, as they host a lot of events and sell local art. Definitely check this place out if you are in the area! ❤️☕️🇬🇹

Google
Unassuming from the outside but when you walk in a refreshing breeze hits you. The beautiful art, the plant trestles hanging from the ceiling, and the radiating energy made me stay longer and the burrito and spiced chai will bring me back soon. Definitely recommend!

I absolutely love this place! Wonderful staff, excellent and fresh food, with a one of a kind environment compared to most Denver coffee shops. Don't hesitate to give this place a visit!!

Was running errands and just wanted a quick coffee so I stumbled upon this little gem and ended up spending almost half an hour looking at their merch and enjoying their atmosphere. So happy I found this place. Will def be back for a week from away day so I can spend more time.

Google
Oh. My. Goodness! Thank you so much Convivio for another amazing Catering experience. The food was divine, on time, and exactly what we ordered plus the coffee was phenomenal. Packaging was easy to dispose of this was just an extremely easy addition to our meeting. We appreciate you all so much! Honestly Google Reviews should have an "above and beyond button" - 5 stars does NOT do Convivio justice!

Yelp
What a vibe!! I loved everything about the decor of Convivio, so I was already sold just by walking in the door. Plants and fun lighting everywhere as well as rad local art. This was the first bilingual cafe I've been to which was very nice to see. Plenty of seating of all kinds. Tables to fit various size parties, comfy looking couch, and high tops. Didn't check for the outlet availability but there were plenty of people working with laptops, so I assume they had some. We didn't try any food, but they had a tasty looking menu and seems like other folx are fans. My husband had their chai which was absolutely delicious. Nice spice level. I opted for their special, which was a frappe and ah-mazing. Loved th cacao nibs on top. So good I had two! Overall, would happily return to Convivio next time I'm in the neighborhood.

Yelp
No, 'pos GUAU. I'm enamored with this shop, y'all. After sharing my thoughts on Cafecito on Threads a couple of weeks ago, a few people suggested Convivio, so I finally gave it a try recently, and no 'pos GUAU. I appreciate the lively atmosphere and the amazing scents of coffee and pastries. The baristas were very kind and welcoming. There's enough seating for anyone who wants a spot to work or catch up with friends. My coffee was incredible; it was not too bitter or sweet. The panecito de chocolate pastry was moist and delicious (I didn't leave a single crumb). My husband ordered a regular drip coffee, and he was impressed with how fresh it was. I'm looking forward to future events they may have (and by the looks, there's plenty, from writing workshops to sewing!). I highly recommend following their Instagram page to stay up-to-date. I'm so glad to add this coffee shop to my rotation of favorites.

Yelp
Great place for tasty food and caffeine. My friend and I came in during a weekday afternoon for lunch and were surprised by how busy it was. I enjoyed the tostada trio without dairy and was still hungry afterward so I ordered a chicken & potato empanada which was small, but filling. My friend really enjoyed her beans with plantain chips. The place has a great vibe with its twinkling lights and plants. People seem to come in to enjoy a bite and work. I'd stop by again to try other items on their menu.

Yelp
LOVE this place! The chocolatado is to die for, as is their burrito. Cute relaxed vibe, a few Guatemalan food items for sale, and really friendly service. Especially appreciate the guy that works in the AM who greets everyone in Spanish and doesn't assume and switch to English just based on appearance. As someone learning Spanish, I'm really appreciative that he never once switches to English unless I do. Very authentic energy. The others that work are nice but totally go straight to English if you're white and Spanish if you at all look Hispanic.

Yelp
4.5 stars. Anything with a 5 star rating on Yelp automatically tempts me. Visited Convivio to get a few hours of work done. Their Wi-Fi is strong and there's plenty of seating inside and outside. Customer service is fantastic. Unlike most cafes, I would highlight their food menu as a top reason to come here, especially the Tostada Trio. So fresh and tasty. Also got an almond milk latte, which was delicious. The only potential downside is the loud music. For some reason, that didn't deter people from taking virtual meetings. Anyways, this is a cute local community spot, and I can't wait to try more of their food items, especially their avocado toast. Perhaps enjoy the outdoor patio too!

Yelp
Great service. It was busier than I anticipated on a Wednesday between 9am- 11am. A lot of people go to do work or school work. Went here to support a Latina owned cafe.

Yelp
Came here for the first time and am in love! It's a quaint, spacious, well lit space. Cafe/coffee shop with food and WiFi, relaxed vibe. Prices are standard and fair. what I like about this spot is that they are local, small business, woman owned, and seem to make a lot of effort to support and be a part of the community. For example, the bathroom has tons of flyers on community related events, you can buy the art on the walls (local artists), and there's a display of other local artist crafts for sale. There's a free collection of kids books by the bathroom, which feels like a fun way to participate as well. I'll be back ~

Yelp
Best coffee shop in Denver ! - ChocoCoffee 10/10 (mentioned in NY times) - Chai Latte 10/10 (homemade spices, so don't expect it to be sweet AF this is not Starbucks ) - Guatemalan Tamale 10/10 - Pastries: Chocolate Expresso Beet Brownie 10/10 & Chai Apple muffin 10/10 Service was spectacular and the cashier told us their coffee was uniquely imported from Guatemala and how the coffee farmers are able to keep more profits working directly with them. Ambience was peaceful, music was culturally on point. Servers were kind. YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT! (I went to a few and this one is #1 on my list)

Yelp
I came across this cafe in the Highlands area via instagram. My friend and I decided to come and check it out and it is a cute cafe with a Guatemalan vibe. I am disappointed I showed up after the empanadas and breakfast burritos were out because well...empanadas are life! LOL. I for the toastada trip with a cafe con leche no sugar. The cafe con lech was smooth and the toastada was tasty. Even on a Monday morning it was pretty packed and the staff there were helpful and nice. They have various bites to have as well as a great selection of coffee. I will definitely be back here and recommend when on 38th Ave in Highlands.

Yelp
Absolutely amazing coffee shop‼ Love the atmosphere. The staff and owner go above and beyond to give a great experience and it shows in the quality of food and drinks they serve‼ 10/10

Yelp
My new favorite cafe in Denver. Truly exquisite coffee, from the roast to the brew and extraction. It's the real deal. The food was delicious and the service was wonderful. It's obvious a lot of love and intention go into everything they do here. Can't wait to come back :)

Yelp
I really enjoyed my first time at Convivio Cafe! The building is adorable from the outside and so relaxing and welcoming on the inside. The staff were super friendly and helpful when offering suggestions from the menu. My husband and I both ordered the tostada trio with a side of pickled veggies suggested by the staff. I definitely recommend getting the veggies as it added a nice acidity to the tostadas. I really enjoyed the nice twist on my chai (they added cardamom syrup made in house) and each of the tostadas. I'll definitely be back!

Yelp
Convivio lives up to its name - it is a beautiful gathering place and has so much heart that takes it from a cool concept to a genuine experience. The nitty gritty - This would be a perfect place to meet your caffeine and work/study needs. Tons of gorgeous natural light, plenty of tasty drink combos and cozy seating that somehow feels spacious. And great quality coffee that's connected to its roots. When I went in early December the barristas seemed to be new and were struggling to stay on top of the orders, so if you're wanting a quick drink to-go this might not the place, but if you're not in a hurry and wanting a place b to linger than feels special where you can sip and study and also feel seen, then Convivió is where it's at. The Magic - You know the Maya Angelou quote about people not remembering what you said, but they'll remember how you made them feel? Well, I can't exactly remember what I ordered, (maybe a dulce de leche latte?) but I can tell you how I felt upon my singular visit. The spirit of this place was warm, welcoming, loving and intentional. Since the barristas were running behind, I was given the gift of observing the place in action, namely the owner who is clearly a genuinely kind and delightful soul. She put so much love into everything she did. A genuine smile graced her face as she floated about, connecting with customers, clearing dishes, making a little mug sleeve out of napkins the little boy sipping his hot cocoa, and even when encouraging her staff to pick up the pace, she did it with such grace and cheerfulness that it didn't feel awkward or tense. In our disconnected world her effort to make every interaction personal was truly beautiful to watch... I texted a friend that I had just observed a "Latina Kathleen Kelly" (Meg Ryan's character in You've Got Mail.) Maybe you just want a pretty place work, and my review is hyperbolic, but I suppose I just wanted to call out the beauty I saw. I hope she keeps the magic going and that she transmits tor vision to her staff so that everyone experience the kindness I got to witness. It's the kind of thing that could change the world.

Yelp
Found this place online and read their story. Such a cute and peaceful place to work. I love little coffee shops like this. Just so special and makes for a peaceful work day. The coffee was good. The food was a bit pricey and smaller than what I expected. I had read reviews and decided to try it out. It's not bad, just not for small size tostadas. And a smaller burrito. Sorry just too pricey. So we won't be back for that reason. But I think if you're nearby. It's so cute and has a great vibe.

Yelp
A lovely corner cafe, this place promises the taste of Guatemala. I found them offering a seasonal variation of chai with caramel; it was an interesting creation but didn't really taste like tea with all the other flavors in there. Ordering some beans with chips, I was surprised to discover that neither were fresh or made in house; they did garnish them nicely and it was an okay start to the day, but I wasn't convinced that it was the best thing that I could have found to eat. There were some other interesting options, and it was a nice place to sit for a while.

Yelp
I visited Guatemala last month. Besides the beautiful pastel colored historic buildings and coffee rich culture- the food was the highlight of my stay. I was thrilled to find a Guata inspired coffee shop. It's located in a historic brick building. The interior was remodeled, tastefully designed highlighting local talented artists without a platform. The owner is benevolent and welcoming. I was greeted by an Hola. We spoke in Spanish for about 15 seconds before I could not hang anymore. She provided a rundown of the menu discussing each menu item in detail. I'm not a scone guy but the ponche scone sounded fantastic (and it was). It was served a little toasty, and contained dried fruit which provided a natural sweetness. Guatemalan coffee is my second favorite coffee (El Salvador is #1) but the coffee was delicious. Free refills on drip.

Yelp
A café with heart! Convivio loves Denver and Guatemala and has blended the two perfectly into a lovely, delicious, welcoming place. Everything I had was yummy. The fresh cardamom was a great touch in my hot drink. My tostadas were delicious. The hibiscus aqua fresca was tart and healthy. The big, clean bathroom had a community board, so I enjoyed seeing the local news. If I was local I'd be coming to Convivio's special dinners with local chefs. Great work, Convivio Café! I'll be back!

Yelp
You know that comforting feeling of a warm hug? That's what convivio feels like when you walk in. Being greeted by a warm hug. This women owned cafe is just perfect! All the seating, spread out, art highlighting Hispanic culture, a Guatemalan inspired space, little plants, twinkle lights, the whole thing! They have pastries and food. The cold brew was perfect and I can't wait to come back and try the cafe con leche. Affordable pricing, great spot to post up and work, lively music, friendly staff and delicious coffee! Street parking is generally easy to find.

Yelp
Amazing food, delicious coffees and aguas frescas and backed my smiling, wonderful service. One of the owners stopped by to make sure everything was as expected. I recommend this spot to everyone looking for a nice place to catch up, do homework, study or work. So many positives, we loved our first visit and will def be back.

Yelp
I love the cardamom latte here! The vibes are great, although a little tough to work from. I love the culture, and they provide excellent service.

Yelp
A wonderful little neighborhood staple! The coffee is always great and I love all the options. The shop is also so cozy and comfortable -- perfect spot to meet friends or spend a few hours working. I also love how community-driven they are. I've attended several events there (like spring seed swaps!) and it's a great spot to connect with neighbors.

Yelp
So glad I found this little gem on 38th. Gorgeous building and interior. Warm, sun-filled, tasteful, and just the right amount of "happening". Walked in to a sea of smiling faces and the splendid fragrance of fresh pastries and coffee. Ordered two cold brews to go this time, but will make certain to hang longer during my next visit. What a great addition to the area!
google avatar

Yelp
Tried this coffee shop a couple of times and loved it! The avocado toast is delicious and filling. The cold brew is amazing! I sampled several different pastries and was happy to find champurradas! I love the decor inside and the music! Highly recommend!

Yelp
You can tell there's a ton of thought put into every corner, from the vibrant Guatemalan-inspired decor to the warm, welcoming atmosphere. Plus it's woman-owned The coffee and treats are excellent! Highly recommend.

Yelp
Convivió is ***delicious***. Come here to taste what coffee should taste like, without any pretentiousness. Love the staff, the decor, the ambiance, and the product! The baked goods are tasty too :)

Yelp
Wonderful and comfortable inside. Nice coffee, Snipes pastries, tasty selections, water chairs, Wi-Fi art

Yelp
This café is a real gem! Drinks and food are always delicious, with a Latin flavor. The place is airy and bright, with great rotating artwork on the walls, and really invites one to relax in the space. Staff is always happy to see you. Well worth paying a visit!

Yelp
The cutest coffee shop! Came here to work today, I love the decor, it's super cozy as well with a couch. Guatemalan and woman owned. Highly recommend thier version of avocado toast.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I have been looking for a perfect coffee shop and I think we found a winner here at Convivio! The owners have managed to create a perfect cozy and comfy atmosphere. The staff is super cool and friendly and they truly care about your experience. Both the food and drinks were delicious and I can't wait to come back and try their weekend specials.

Kylee K.

Yelp
I love this place. My favorite coffee in Denver is the cafe chocolado, I don't really like my coffee or lattes too sweet and this is the perfect balance of chocolate with the bitterness of espresso
google avatar

Jessie C.

Yelp
This place was recommended by another coffee shop. Overall, great atmosphere, coffee & food. It is out of our way to come here but I would come again and would highly recommend this place.
google avatar

Yelp
Cute. Cozy. Great place to pop a squat and get some work done. The coffee is soooo good and their pastries are great! The staff is very nice
google avatar

Yelp
Good coffee, nice food, great service! Got the tostadas and really liked the black bean and avocado one. Didn't love the chocolate muffin. All syrups are homemade which I like. There is a couch/comfy seating area and the rest normal bistro style chairs and tables. Neighborhood parking, so can be tricky. Would recommend. Have been back twice. Parking is neighborhood so can be tricky but I've found a spot within a block each time.
google avatar

Philip T.

Yelp
Excellent coffee and pastries, and a nice casual atmosphere. Flavors are different from what I see most places. Wait staff is always friendly.
google avatar

Sabrina V.

Yelp
Very nice place and setting, my concern was the price for the coffee I receive (to go) did not feel as if the sizing matched, very small coffee for amount paid. Coffee was ok and not what was expected. Ordered iced drinks but got hot instead and received attitude when I clarified I wanted iced.. the iced chai was very very watery and had a small note of chai. Iced coffee ordered was tres leches but it tasted more like a plain latte. it seems as if the nice reviews are based off of how nice the place is, not a bang for your buck, coffee is alright!
google avatar

Lou R.

Yelp
Great place for 1:1 conversation. Wonderful and friendly service. Loved the toast and good coffee.

Ryan E.

Yelp
Super unique and GOOOD coffee plus the food/ cookies they have are all amazing. 10/10 spot to grab a small bite and some coffee.
google avatar

Rachel B.

Yelp
Friendly baristas, bright, airy yet still cozy, good cold brew, unique pastries, reasonable prices, couldn't ask for more!
google avatar

Ali S.

Yelp
I've driven past this coffee shop on 38th so many times and finally stopped in. The staff was extremely welcome and there was plenty of cozy seating. The barista helped me choose a drink and pastry option given that their menu is primarily in Spanish. I got the cafe chocolotado which is a mocha made with Mexican chocolate, so not quite as a sweet and a bit more cinnamon forward. I also got a standard oat milk latte - both were delicious! We tried the burrito, which was a little small and didn't measure up to the Americanized breakfast burritos I'm used to but was still tasty! We also tried a small hibiscus fruit roll pastry that we a nice sweet treat. Will definitely return to try more of the menu!
google avatar

Yelp
Great service, food is authentic and tastes so good. Awesome place to do some work too. Hidden gem near Tennyson St.

Yelp
Amazing coffee and food. It's super nice inside. Some of the best coffee. I am a big coffee person and it was amazing
google avatar

Ernesto M.

Yelp
Enjoyed the food and service. Loved the ambiance! The staff was super friendly and bilingual (English and Spanish). The environment is warm and welcoming, even to families with little ones! Will definitely come back. I do think they might need to improve their wifi strength but otherwise it's a brilliant spot to come and do work!
google avatar

Chloe R.

Yelp
This coffee shop is so beautiful! It's women and immigrant owned and Guatemalan inspired, and the amount of care put into the menu and ingredients here shows. The baristas are super friendly and recommended the La Lorena based on my coffee preferences, and it was one of the best coffees I've had in Denver! Rich, creamy, and well balanced.

Jonah B.

Yelp
Wonderful staff. Even the brewed coffee is good. I haven't experienced that in years. Muffins are excellent. Atmosphere excellent. table sizes decent.
google avatar

Harley S.

Yelp
A very welcoming atmosphere and nice music. The service and other customers were very kind. The food and coffee was AMAZING - both flavorful and appropriately priced.

Isabella C.

Yelp
A very cute and cozy spot with great tea options. I'm not a fan of coffee so it is always exciting to go somewhere that is as creative and thoughtful with their tea beverages as their coffee/espresso.
google avatar

Amy N.

Yelp
Had the breakfast burrito and a scone last weekend. Both delicious! Great atmosphere and it is very clear the staff truly care about what they're doing. Can't wait to go back!
google avatar

Allison S.

Yelp
The barista was fun to talk to and made us feel comfortable practicing our rudimentary Spanish. We had two different tostadas one with beans and the other with salsa. Both were delicious. The jamaica aquas frescas were also really good with an unexpected hint of cinnamon.
google avatar

Sammi Y.

Yelp
The coffee is delicious, the pastries are delicious, the pan con aguacate is delicious, and the place is nicely decorated and drenched in sunlight. Definitely a favorite place of mine!
