I’ve been going to weekly appointments here in the area and always have gone to Broadway Bagel which is also good. But I peeked this place across the street and am SO glad I went. I love acai and juices, and went post-dentist. I love that they offer açaí in smoothie or bowl form. Like honestly we need that flexibility out here while still getting the key ingredient! The smoothie container is super solid, and I’m really pleased to know I have a place to fuel up healthy before or after my appointments 😋

Neighborhood GOTO! The staff is always happy and line goes out the door. My favorite healthy smoothie spot. Don’t skip the Pitaya bowls. Hidden gem on the menu! I think i order from here at least 2x a week

Going here for 4 years. Best smoothie in the city. Can’t go wrong with a flavor, can’t go wrong w a time of day. Idk what they put in it but it’s incredible. Their green mango smoothie is one of the best hangover cures I’ve found.

This has the best Acai Bowls, and the price is great for the amount of toppins the you get in each Acai Bowl. I have had Acai Bowls from Connecticut to Washington state and this place makes the best bowls.

they have a large variety of drinks here, including thai iced tea, my personal favorite. service was fast and good. took me about 2 minutes to get my drink.

I tried the large milk tea boba here and i paid with card. A friend told me larges were 5.99, and with card it was only a bit more expensive. Great prices, the boba actually tastes like tea, and AMAZING tapioca pearls. Overall i would say 4.5 out of 5 because it's a bit cramped, but otherwise sensational.

According to my mom, Cool Fresh Juice Bar has the BEST AÇAI BOWLS IN THE CITY. She lives in the 60s and I live in Harlem so we often meet here for a bowl and a smoothie. The owners are a very sweet, hardworking couple. They always greet us warmly, and are patient with my mom's many modifications ( sub strawberry for banana and add spinach) The prices are reasonable- $13.50 for a modified açai bowl that is definitely 2 portions Smoothies are also delicious and made with fresh fruit and vegetables. It's a small "hole in the wall" just bursting with fresh flavorful juices, smoothies, açai and pittaya bowls etc., They take card but cash is preferred. One small seating space inside.

I've been coming here for years I love this place. The Best smoothies in NYC, the Best customer service ever, their amazing here like family. It's a small shop on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, the place is pretty inside. The smoothies are amazing an they used to have these brownies that taste so good.

I came here today to get a fresh juice. I tried the ginger aid and the passion fruit mango. I wasn't obsessed with the ginger aid but the man was nice enough to switch my drink for a fresh grapefruit juice. I appreciate it a lot . Anytime I'm in the area I would definitely swing by and get another juice.

I never would have tried this due to the ramshackle storefront were it not for the glowing yelp reviews - I am so glad I did. There is an enormous variety of smoothies and juices with fresh (not frozen) fruit, and impressive prices ($6-7.50 for a 24oz smoothie or juice - and you can customize yours if you'd like). Do note there is a 3% price increase for non-cash payments. They are very quick to prepare these as well. The venue is very small; there is no indoor seating, and only about 2 customers can stand in line at a given time. This is admittedly a bit strange because they are not lacking in vertical space; the cash register is just positioned so far to the front of the store so as to create a huge kitchen and very little space for customers to stand. It is also odd in terms of interior decor, with string LED lights and glowing glass menus - this is not Pressed juice bar's aesthetic. However, for a to-go beverage, I don't care, and perhaps not having the most avant-garde or clean minimalist aesthetic is what allows their highly competitive pricing, which is the main draw for me.

my first time I ordered from them I actually ordered on DoorDash and I was very very happy with my Pitaya bowl as well as the juice shots I got. I highly recommend the juice shots. My go tos are super shot and vital shot but i also get power up and immunize as well. I highly recommend I'm actually about to get dressed to go get a smoothie and some fresh squeezed juice right now.

Three and a half stars upgraded to 4 - for lightening quick service. The Jasmine Bubble Tea was 3 stars - they use a plastic dome instead of sealing it with plastic due to limited space - thank you to the owner for explaining this via Yelp messages! Most of the bubble tea shops use cup sealing film for their drink tops - no chance of spills or mess - until you spear it with the straw. Also, some shops give you a choice of sugar level or no sugar options in their online menu choices. I also tried one of the juices - it was allegedly a carrot based juice with beet, kale, etc added - but it was bright red and looked like mostly beet juice. My brain and taste buds were in conflict at first but it was fresh & tasted fine. Enjoyed the juice ! For bubble tea, prefer the bubble tea specialty shops, but this store offers "one stop shopping" for juice & bubble tea. Convenient & quick !

Not a big juice person, however my wife is. She wanted a juice and this was the highest rated in the area. The space is quite small but the service was friendly and efficient. They make everything fresh which takes a minute as is to be expected. Price was reasonable for this sort of place I got a peanut butter smoothie which was good, and my wife loved whatever fruity thing she got. This is clearly not my thing, however this place was pleasant and seemingly worth it even for an outsider like me.

The best açaí bowls in UWS and dare I say Manhattan. I never have to addon or substitute because their main bowl is so perfect the way they created it.

I was on my way to work and i saw this juice bar that i had never noticed before so i decided to try them & i must say it was all worth the trip . The acai bowl i had was delicious , everything was well portioned . I also had one of the ginger shots . I can't remember my exact orders but I'm sure whatever you get will be equally as amazing . The man who took my order was kind and patient & he worked really fast to make my order exactly how it needed to be . He followed covid precautions and wore gloves , a mask and also had a barrier blocking . They also had good R&B music as i waited which was a plus . I will be returning

Randomly found this spot while craving a cold fruity snack. Both my other half and I went with smoothies. There are a multitude of options so it took me a while to decide what I wanted. When I finally made up my mind, we ordered and got our smoothies shortly after. My other half went with the Watermelon Surprise which comes with kale, watermelon, apple, lemon, and lychee. This smoothie came out brown and it originally looked very unappetizing, but it was actually a lovely blend of flavors. Who knew watermelon and lychee could mix so harmoniously? I went with the Cold Warrior which comes with lemon, ginger, orange, mint, pineapple, and carrot. Cool, sweet, with just the right kick of tart and ginger. I do want to note, this place is extremely small and has very limited seating. Originally I wanted to order an acai bowl but changed my mind due to the lack of seating. Thankfully the smoothie was just what I needed to curb the craving on a hot summer day. People here are extremely nice too! I highly recommend this spot if you haven't tried it already.

Juice is beyond "in" at this point, so I was definitely eager to check out this juice bar in my old 'hood a few months ago. It's definitely a spot you might pass by accident, since it's tiny and between two larger storefronts. I don't know how they store such a variety of ingredients in the back. This is the "hole in the wall" version of a fresh juicer! I was truly overwhelmed by the options. You can read all the information on both walls for a long time and be just as unsure after reading them all. Based on the Yelp reviews, though, I knew I had to go with the Kale Monster. I liked it's creaminess while also having all the goodness that it promises. I think the prices are competitive given the size and ingredients. (I watched them make it with no additives.) Definitely a to go spot. This spot is definitely too tiny for even a few customers. But it's worth it!

One solo seat is available in this quaint affordable shop. I ordered the peanut butter acai and it actually came with a generous mix of fresh fruit plus 4 toppings. I got the Gojis and cacao nibs and chia seeds and granola. I'd divorce juice generation is a heartbeat if I lived closer. This is a gem if you're in the area and want a healthy break.

You will NEVER have a better Açaí bowl in New York City. Love it here and have been coming back for years!! Also, tell them about any ailments that you're having and they will recommend a juice shot to help you with it!

Nice little smoothie joint. They also make bowl açaí and pitaya. Not many place make pitaya (dragon fruit) bowls. So check out it's sweeter than açaí. Better in my opinion. Service is good they're just kinda slow preparing things. Bc of that expect a line.

The space is small (three customers inside felt like a crowd), but don't be fooled- their smoothies leave a big impression! My friend and I found this spot after a few hours of wandering around Central Park, which was about a 15 minute walk from the location. My friend ordered the Strawberry Blueberry Banana smoothie and I ordered the Açaí Original smoothie, both of which were delicious and far exceeded our expectations! I moved to NYC from a place where smoothie shops like Jamba Juice were plentiful, and I've missed them since arriving here, but now, I've found a proper and maybe even better replacement. I'm excited to go back to Cool Fresh Juice Bar next time I'm in the area and would definitely recommend it to anyone in search of a delicious, cool, fresh treat.

The 2 guys who own this place are always happy and a joy to be around. My preferred bubble tea/health smoothie spot in the area. Not too sweet, they don't go heavy on the sugar. Their green ingredients are super fresh, but what really gets me is their great vibe and happy smiles. When my wife asks me if I want a bubble tea, she always asks.."do you want one from the happy asian guys?" I always say YES!!! I must also say It is unfortunate because there is a new place just opened to next to them on the same block and they're nowhere near as good, I really dislike when competition moves next door and tries to copy or sell the product because of popularity. Update: still the best. Surprised to come here 10 Min before closing to open the doors to a packed line. Kevin (the owner) and the crew are the best. Neighborhood gem in the UWS.

This juice bar while super tiny is packed with fresh juices, smoothies and açaí bowl dreams. The prices are so reasonable in comparison with larger chains - Pressed Juicery or Juice Generation. Everything is made fresh and the service is fast. There are not tables inside to sit (there is not even a place to stand it is so small!) - just be ready to grab your juice and go. They have two sizes small and large for juiced. Also this place is super flexible when you order - not a juice on the menu you want? They will make one just for you! A large pressed juice is $7. Great deal and great service! Açaí bowls are also incredibly reasonable and fresh. The fruits were cut up as soon as I placed the order. You have a choice of what you can add on top in addition to the fruit - coconut, flax seed, granola, chia seeds, goji berries. Very tasty and refreshing. It is incredibly filling I could only eat half! With tax it is about $9 for an açaí bowl. Enjoy!!

Super crowded at 6pm on a Saturday, but they make drinks very quickly so we had drinks in our hands in 15 minutes. It was on the pricier side, however they had a wide variety of drinks. Bubble tea looks good, owned by Asian people so I'm sure they've gotten the boba perfected. We got the juices - a powerful chia and kale monster. Both were delicious but kale monster was the favorite between us both. The ingredients were kale, spinach, coconut, and pineapple and we added chia seeds.

This is my favorite place in the neighborhood. The smoothie is literally made in front of you, the combinations are great and you can sub in non-dairy mills free of charge. It's also on the cheaper end of the spectrum when it comes to fresh juices and smoothies.

Cool Fresh Juice Bar delivered big time! I stopped in after a quick yelp search for the best smoothie around. you can smell the fresh fruit when walking in, that's always a good sign. I ordered a strawberry and banana with peanut butter smoothie and it was hands down the best I've had. next time I'm in the neighborhood I will be back.

Ordered and paid for an acai bowl, and they refused to give it to me, saying they already had, even though they hadn't If you want a business to take your money without giving you what you paid for, do not go here. Mealpal barcode was not working. Employee refused to call Meal Pal to rectify the situation. If you have Mealpal, you are at risk of not getting your meal.

There is a reason you see all these 5-star reviews. I feel lucky to live just a few blocks walking distance away to come here regularly. This is a small, mom & pop owned kind of place. The ingredients are always clean, fresh, and I seem them work as they whip up a smoothie. Juices, smoothies, "health shots," acai bowls are ALWAYS made right in front of you and you can see for yourself how they personally build your order. Fresh. They also have bubble tea, which I have found to be pretty decent. I'm not sure if they use fresh juices for the bubble tea but they are a cheaper alternative to Shiny Tea a few stores down, unless you want something more specialized -- this spot just has tapioca pearls. They must have close to 100 different options for smoothies and juices posted on their walls. I like my Peaches Delight, Green Monster, or just customize something yourself--they'll make what you ask. I get large smoothies for less than $7--and the taste is noticeably better than Juice Generation, Liquiteria, Pressed Juicery, where'd you would be paying $3-5 more for the same thing. I feel good paying less and contributing to this smaller business. The staff are friendly and fast, the quality of product is fresher, and the price is better, too. I'm happy to have this option in the neighborhood. I've become a loyal customer-- come try it!

I come to this place very often. I would say it's the absolute best juice bar on the upper west side . They provide quality smoothies that are well blended , flavorful & the size is well worth the price. I highly recommend!!

"Don't judge a book by its covers" is EXACTLY what you should be thinking when you see this place. A no frills, just-what-you-need, hole in the wall that makes quite the extraordinary smoothies with ordinary ingredients. The green monster smoothie was sincerely love at first sip but I am so excited to try their other flavors. There's no seating inside but grab your smoothie and walk around! There's a small park with benches nearby, or just stroll in the UWS. You might look and feel basic but trust me, there is nothing basic about adding nutrients to your body and getting some good ol vitamin D.

If you want an a flavorful smoothie with several options at a good price this is the place for you. They have an extensive menu with several fruits, flavors, and add ons at a more then reasonable price. They are also very quick in making the smoothies so it's good if you need a quick snack. Overall, I prefer this over Juice Press any day. Favorite juice spot on the upper west side.

the açaí green bowl is sooooo good!! the base is slightly sweet with a healthy vegetable taste. it's great for the price.

I did not enjoy this açaí bowl at all. The consistency of the bowl was clumpy, additionally the flavors didn't necessarily blend together well. Furthermore the excessive use of peanut butter made it worst. There was more granola and peanut butter than there was anything else. The peanut butter was also as if it was scooped directly out of the tube and not squeeze out to flow smoothly. I would not going here again for an Acai bowl to say the least. I ended up throwing it away because it's the worst açaí bowl I tasted by far.

I live very close and have gotten plenty of the smoothies. Pretty good. They have a good frequent customer card. Buy 10 smoothies get one free. The free one is a small and you have to buy large ones to get the free one. Which is kind of lame. Something I would probably change if I were them. Fresh smoothies and prices aren't too bad.

Love love love! Every time I get a drink from here it is perfect. They have a lot of amazing options. And the staff members are always very friendly. I've tried a few smoothie/ juice places in the surrounding area, and so far they have proven to be the best. At least that's how I feel!

I wasn't too impressed with the green açaí bowl. The base smoothie was too thick, bland and had chunks of ice still remaining in the mix. For $9, I expect a better quality bowl. Unfortunately there are not many smoothie bowl options close to Columbia, so I may wind up back here. I'd give them another shot for their smoothies.

When my friend said we were within walking distance of a "cheap" smoothie place, I was already questioning it. Cheap is so relative in relation to smoothies, and I really wanted lots of fresh fruit in my smoothie. When we walked in, my mind was blown by the menu variety and low prices. What a steal! This storefront is a counter and can only fit 2 or 3 people inside in line, but it is so worth it! I ordered the My Heart Smoothie (Medium 16 oz. $5), which had banana, peach, orange, blackberry, blueberry, and apple. It was delicious and perfect on a 90 degree day. My friend had an orange colored smoothie with ginger that I really liked too. The bowls and other things all looked amazing too. I wish I could try it all. Overall, a great and cheap smoothie option in the neighborhood!

This is by far the most delicious and affordable juice and smoothie place on the upper west side. I would rather pay $5 for a fresh juice than $10-12 at other businesses. It's a total hole in the wall and the guys running the place are super friendly and helpful. I can't recommend this place enough!

While I was staying with a friend who lives in the area, I looked up smoothie places on Yelp--this place had by far the best reviews, and even though it was a bit of a trek for me (10+ blocks as opposed to a shop that was less than a block away), I decided to give it a try. I then proceeded to get a smoothie from this place 5 out of the 7 days I was in town. Look, I went out yesterday to buy fruit and kale in an attempt to recreate the magic, but clearly I'm not as talented as these guys are, and I wish I had a smoothie from this place right now. I understand that others may not feel as strongly about smoothies as I do, but this place is definitely worth going out of your way for. Even my smoothie-hating boyfriend ended up finding something that he enjoyed. The place is small like others have said. The first time I went, there were three people inside waiting for their drinks and it felt quite cramped. If you're buying more than one smoothie, the guy will put them in a little cardboard holder for you before placing it in a plastic bag.

ACAI. I've had the best of the best acai in SF for $10 and their acai bowls are $8, and they feel *thicker*, like you can tell it's made out of real fruit and ingredients. Their menu description says it comes with toppings like cacao nibs that I couldn't see in my bowl, so I thought you might have to ask for toppings, but then I realized the toppings were *blended in* to the acai! AHHH.

Super fast, super affordable, super good. They have a massive selection of items to choose from. So far I've only had the Sweet Spin and Matcha Strong, both delicious. My yoga studio is right down the street, so I plan to try many more in the future.
