"Situated just off the A406 Motorway junction at Wembley, the hungry with a car have no excuse not to take a foray to The Wright Jerk Centre. The frequent sight of motorbike crews outside the shop with bikes perfectly lined in formation let people know there are many others who savour the road trip to this far reach of London too. For perspective, there are only two seats inside. More space has rightfully been allocated to the wall-to-wall grills billowing smoke up metal chimneys frequently being plastered with cuts of chicken and a very rare addition of lamb rather than pork. The food here is great I’ve had it before and really enjoyed it but it’s completely overshadowed by the lack of customer service. When I walked in, I greeted the older man behind the counter, but he just stared and carried on with what he was doing. He didn’t say a word looked at me right in the face like I was nothing , not even “I’ll be right with you.” A few other people came in after me and he ignored them as well. After waiting around 10 minutes with no acknowledgment, I left without ordering. The food is amazing, but basic customer service training would make a huge difference.

Came here to this take away on the way home for an event. Restaurant staff were lovely and very helpful in pointing out popular dishes. We came near closing so most things were sold out but we were able to order quite a selection. We had the large jerk chicken with rice and beans, the ox tail with rice and beans, Festival (sweet donut like fried bread), coleslaw, Mac and cheese, fried chicken with mild sauce (other options include bbq, moderate spicy). The smokiness of the jerk chicken was so delicious. Oxtail was fall off the bone. We also tried the pineapple punch which tasted like pins colada and the Guinness punch (acquired taste). Overall even the customers were so friendly and just made the atmosphere fitting for authentic Caribbean cuisine.

I ordered £200 worth of chicken for a specific time on Saturday and the food was ready when I arrived. In two big trays cut and accompanied by my voice of jerk sauce (medium and regular). The chicken was tasty and all my guests loved it. Great service.

Went into put my order in for jerk chicken lady over the counter took the order waited patiently for 10mins then was told come back after 30mins as jerk is not ready. Waited outside and Could see other customers coming in an out with their food delivery drivers taking customer orders. Came back after 30mins and was told my order is next waited another 20mins still nothing. Had to request a refund and leave. Terrible service only care about their own people.

After reading the reviews I was very sceptic 🤨 about trying there food 🥘 and if I’m honest cos I’m serious about my food especially caribbean food and I will tell you the customer service was amazing and the lady that worked today 23/07/23 you was polite and courteous even when I changed my order she even told me how long will be cos they had to cook the plantains which wasn’t the problem as I hate cooked plantain’s from 10am in the morning 🙄the food taste nice and well cooked the oxtail was tender till the bones can even chew 😊not gonna lie ain’t had that from a Jamaican restaurant in years only thing them need is stools for the restaurant for one or 2 people could sit and eat. Other than that great food and great service.

I’m convinced some of the people complaining staff are rude were the ones being rude to staff in the first place. Especially judging by the wording in some people’s reviews, big up the staff if they gave these rude people a little pepper in return😂🌶️ Always happy with my food & find the staff very friendly too. Portion size is good for the price, everything fresh and tasty, and good availability of dishes even later into the afternoon. I think they manage their kitchen very well. I consider this a reliable place and my preferred choice for Caribbean food in NW London and I hope it stays around for a long long time. There’s a little bell at the till if all staff are busy in the kitchen, just ring it - don’t think they’re ignoring you.

The food tastes good and I usually have a good experience, but… I Ordered a Large Oxtail (Cost me £13) and in return I got a container of rice and steamed veg… and a tiny portion of oxtail. Disgraceful.
