I attended a private party for the 40th anniversary of the 116 Festival. It was a great turnout, with various artists performing, awards given out and our MC was Carlito from LaMega.

Horrible dark and dirty! There was a $20 per person door fee and after climbing up two flights of stairs you are greeted by a jeans hats and T-shirt crowd... The bartender was on his phone and couldn't care less about his job, he made us two drinks in tiny plastic clear cups for $20 each... After we finished we ordered another round with no ice and it was half the size of the dixie cup...when I complained to the bartender he asked me if I wanted a double, I said other bars didn't do this and he got an attitude and told me this isn't the other bar, VERY RUDE!! This is a cheap trick from the owners & bartender... The music was dated and choppy like a kid was playing or a mix tape... Then we got ready for "the show" which consisted of 6 teenagers... They looked like a HS production it was embarrassing to even watch... Don't go to the "outside" lounge because it smelled like urine! Avoid at all cost and this establishment is a bootleg version of the Copa of the past!! You can do better! Shame on you!! We stayed for an hour and left with the bartender back on his phone!

Liars and disrespectful. They last minute canceled a memorial fashion show to honor a dead fashion designer so they can line their greedy pockets. I am a hotel concierge and I hope they go out of business soon. I don’t patronize or recommend places that are morally unethical or disrespectful to the living and dead. What makes it sadder is that the designer gave the owners wife a one of a kind skirt (even though she never gives away her collection) because she thought they were allegedly good people. Little did she know they would spit on her grave a few months after her passing. I put a curse on this place. They are ruined. The pics are false. These are pictures from over ten years ago at the old location when it used to be semi decent.

Place was Dead on a Friday night! 23 people in entire place at 11.30 pm. They need to hire better promoters or something!

Went for Cinco de Mayo, cowboy, and glitter event. It sounded weird and over all the place, so I decided to check it. Bought a Pulsd for 19 bucks, and I enjoyed myself. The dj was on point, line dancing was fun, and the open bar didn't disappoint. They also have an outside rooftop area. The mechanical bull was life! And something fun to try.

We were like 15 people who went here for Saturday night and we were not sure how we felt about going here looking at the photos. But one of my friend said that he has been here and ilwe will have a good time. We trusted him and went here and had absolutely amazing time. The music they played was nice but more then that the crowd was real nice. Would 100% go back here again

I was told it was a dance social and it just like a regular club it’s sad paid money for this… this location it’s completely dead don’t recommend for salsa and bachata dancer

Attended a private party for 40th anniversary of 116 festival. The place ambience is very dark. The food was catered. There was live performances by artists and an award ceremony. Hosting was Carlito from LaMega.

I came here for a speed dating event and then a salsa class afterwards. The setup in the club wasn't very conducive to a speed dating event. It was dark and the tables were setup randomly and caused a lot of confusion for the men. The drinks were ok. They had 3 different specials drinks costing $18. Bartender was very friendly and personable. The salsa/bachata class was ok. But I heard from some of the other participants who frequent other classes in the city that the instructor wasn't very good and teaching the wrong steps.

If you want to pay $20 to go to an empty room all night with mediocre music this is the place for you. The space is amazing though, but they don't take advantage of it.

This Place is Dope!! Staff is very friendly, drinks are Great. Music & crowd is Poppin' (The rooftop is amazing as well ) Thank You Copacabana for A Great time

Small, not very modern venue. Mostly giving poor review because it was not my setting. Lots of older individuals - not a college-student friendly setting. Drinks were $20 a pop. Entrance $20 per person as well.
