Copperhill Mountain Lodge

The best mountain lodge with stunning view of Åre mountains and copper themed design with amazing spa. The restaurant serves seasonal menu with delicious food. This is one of the best hotel we have stayed. Kids can enjoy the spa and pool which is not common in many hotels in Sweden. There is a arcade room where kids can spend some time for fun. Overall best experience ||The staff Ellen and Jenny from the reception are very welcoming and ensured our stay was great. Thank you Copperhill , we will visit again .

Åre is an excellent destination with amazing food, scenic hikes, and plenty of outdoor activities. Copperhill Mountain Lodge is perfectly situated on a mountain with breathtaking views yet just a short distance from town.||Our stay was truly memorable. The weather gave us the full mountain experience, sunny days and brief, charming thunderstorms we enjoyed from indoors with stunning views. The service from every single person at the hotel was outstanding, warm, and attentive.||The food at Copperhill was exceptional, with great vegan and vegetarian options. The salad prepared for us upon our late-night arrival was the best we’ve ever had. The vegan risotto at dinner was fantastic, and breakfast was a highlight with delicious vegan nut butter and hummus.||Åre also offers some incredible dining spots we highly recommend: Crêperie & Logi Åre for cozy crepes, Buustamons for a beautiful summer lunch outdoors, Imilla which we sadly missed but everyone says is the best (book well in advance), Granen Hotel for a lovely dinner, and Vinbaren for dinner or drinks.||The combination of Copperhill’s perfect location, comfort, and exceptional hospitality made it hard to leave for my family and they had to be dragged out of the hotel. We will definitely be back. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Åre.

From the warm reception at check in to the fantastic upgrade offer (worth every penny) Ellen and Copper Hill staff made our stay extra special! The hotel is always spotless and luxurious. The beds were so comfy and the breakfast is world class! The view from our room were stunning. We can highly recommend Copper Hill in Åre!

What a gem. I can definitely recommend. Out of the tourist path, in a quiet are with a nature trail right out the door. Own ski lift in the winter, connects to slopes in Åre. While not inexpensive, Copperhill can compete in the value department, because you get a lot for your buck. Modern and very clean, with awsome staff. 5 🤩

Very beautiful hotel with a great restaurant serving delicious food for both adults and kids, and, most importantly for me in this case, incredibly kind and helpful staff. We stayed at Copperhill for a week of skiing. I managed to fall and break my shoulder on the second day, which meant I ended up stuck at the hotel for the rest of the week. The staff were absolutely lovely and helped me with all kinds of things, to make my stay as comfortable as possible. The rest of the family went skiing and used both the hotel shuttle bus, and the ski lift and slope to get to and from Björnen, which worked well. The evening dinner was delicious, and our daughter loved the kid's buffet. The pool was also great (although I wasn't able to visit it myself).

Visited for a cup of coffee and to get a look at the view and the place. *Very* nice atmosphere and interior. Coffee was perfect and we also got a tray of sorted goodies which all tasted superb - hats off to the chef! Staff was just amazing. Friendly, very nice and just... Perfect! This might be the place for us to stay next time we visit Åre!

Hotel has a lot of potential but needs improvement.|Pro’s - we had largest room and it was nice and spacious. Very comfy sofa, and good Tv and PlayStation facilities.|Ski hire very easy|Shuttles very easy|Spa - brilliant for kids. But needs better cleaning |Spa treatments - mediocre but surroundings v nice.||Cons:|Food - breakfast good. Lobby food ok. Evening menu not ideal. Bizarre combinations and lacking variety and simplicity for post skiing meal. The restaurant itself is nice to sit in and friendly service.||Room cleaning not great. Left over meals not taken away. Beds are not the quality expected and rooms need better soundproofing.||If the food was better we would consider returning but as other restaurants are so far we’ll probably try another place.

We loved our stay at Copperhill. The space is, of course, beautiful, but, perhaps more notably, very, very comfortable and welcoming. Our room was thoughtfully laid-out, with plenty of room for two kids and two adults and a great view. Very helpful to have so much space for ski gear, too. The hotel was incredibly family friendly, including markers and coloring page for kiddos in the lobby and kid-specific hours in the pool, which was great for our kiddos and us. Delicious breakfast, and wonderful drinks. Very easy to get out skiing with the Skistar rental onsite and the hill right out the door. The location is beautiful, with amazing views (including the Northern Lights!), though note that this means that it is not close/convenient to get to Are town center. If you're hoping to spend a lot of time in town, this might not be for you (or you'll want a car or a lot of taxi rides). We would definitely stay again!

Very nice building and rooms. SLOWEST SERVICE EVER. I've traveled a lot and I've never had as slow service as this ever. (Ok at lunch but dinner is a disaster.) Had to wait almost two hours for main course that never came. We just left. That was the 5th dinner. The four previous were better but still very slow. Worthless. Don't come here. Way too over priced.

Copperhill Mountain Lodge is perched on top of hill with truly breathtaking views. It's a large very open layout that's been thoughtfully designed and decorated. The spa was nice, but if possible I would only give 3 stars. Nothing too highlight aside from again, the views. Breakfast was very nice with lots to choose from, pretty typical Swedish spread. No surprises there. Staff was very friendly, kind and accommodating. I struggle with hotels that have the reputation and acclaim of being top notch but there is no one to tend to luggage on staff. Having to lug your bags to and from the car up to a room just doesn't sit well with me and greatly changes your experience. Tip for hotels: hire bellhops!
