"This place is aptly named, considering all of their interesting and experimental flavors. We like The Bronx, which combines a sweet glaze with black pepper and olive oil, as well as the Those Beetz Are Dope, which has a bright red beet-flavored glaze and is filled with whipped ricotta. They also have very good vegan cake doughnuts, including one topped with cereal milk glaze and cornflakes. We met someone who lines up before opening time every Friday morning, so The Doughnut Project clearly inspires a loyal following. We can see why." - Kenny Yang

There is a fantastic new donut shop in NYC—COPS! Originally from Toronto, they are bringing a mix of sweet excellence with their mini-donut (a new flavor every Monday) and attention to the product design/marketing/general vibes, which are really art-oriented. I got two flavors, cinnamon and coffee glaze. The size and flavor are just spot on! At the counter, David was very personable and explained their concept well. I'll be back to get a bigger selection to share with the rest of the Supp team for a mid-afternoon sweet break. YUMMY!

Google
Amazing donuts, amazing atmosphere. I was deciding between two of the flavors, and I ordered a half dozen of the red velvet donuts. To my surprise, the staff gave me an extra half dozen of the cinnamon donuts as well! Definitely will return and I recommend this spot to anyone in the area.

These mini-donuts were very tasty! Clearly very fresh. Coffee also great. Wish there were a way to mix and match the flavors.

Nothing but good vibes! The space is so well done you forget you’re in a donut shop. Truly edible art. I got to try the la cabra donut.. let me tell you. The perfect sized donut, cooked in duck fat, with just the right balance of sweet and salty. They also have incredible coffee! I recommend grabbing a cup with your donuts. After all, they do go hand in hand. The staff was so friendly and inviting. I was helped by Kelly, who was just so helpful and informative. If you’re not checking out this new place, I don’t know what you’re doing. Don’t sleep and go grab some of the best donuts you’ll ever have.

This spot is fire. The doughnuts are incredible - fresh and delicious, handmade and served warm. We had two different kinds and they were both amazing. Also ordered a 5-0 (50 pack) to bring back to my office and everyone loved them. The space is great as well, and the service was on point. Super friendly.

I brought COPS donuts in for an office Halloween party and they were a HUGE hit! The donuts are absolutely delicious - and we loved that they were small, so you can have a few (guilt free!) or keep it to just one. We weren't able to finish all of them in one day, but the donuts were still fresh & tasty the next day! I'll definitely be going back with friends. Welcome to the neighborhood!

Amazing new donut shop! Fresh, spongy donuts, amazing flavors! Their weekly Thai milk tea was delicious. Donut quality is 10/10. Definitely a great addition to NYC!

Immediately greeted by friendly and passionate staff that told me all about the opera cake flavour of the month - which was delicious! All donuts should aspire to graduate to Cops donuts, for the mini donut is the most delicious and fun. Very cool space! Great neighbourhood! Can’t recommend highly enough! Also, they serve La Cabra coffee, the best coffee in NYC!

Yelp
As a Canadian who's had COPS Donuts in Toronto, I was thrilled to find out they had a location here too. Naturally, I had to stop by--and they didn't disappoint. I tried the cinnamon, sour cream, and one of their featured donuts, and all were delicious. The clear standout, though, was the cinnamon. It had the perfect balance of texture, sweetness, and flavor--absolutely spot-on. So happy to have a taste of home nearby. I'll definitely be back for more!

Yelp
COPS mini donuts are delicious! We stopped by on their second day. They are so friendly! There are 3 flavors: og glaze with sour cream, cinnamon sugar, and a weekly feature. We tried the weekly feature with a coffee glaze from La Cabra with lemongrass made in collaboration with seeyousoon.to. They're mini donuts made to order, and they're beautiful and hot! 6 was easy to eat for 2 - I could see us eating 12 or 18 :) There are larger boxes good for sharing like the hotbox with 36 donuts. Can't wait to try their original flavors and more of the weekly features. Cool interior with art on display - their grand opening included an art exhibition. Some window counter seating inside.

Yelp
COPS is in the space where The Doughnut Project used to be (RIP), and I actually found out about them on Instagram since their weekly flavor was a Doughnut Project collab. My friends and I stopped by on a weekday evening to try their donuts. Their donuts are all mini size, and sold in batches of 6. You can get an order of 6 with one flavor, or an order of 12 with two flavors. We ordered 12 and tried the cinnamon sugar and OG sour cream. There was also a weekly special flavor that was beets & ricotta (collab flavor with The Doughnut Project). The donuts came out piping hot, so they are best enjoyed on the spot. Both flavors were great. The OG has a lot of glaze drizzled on it so it is quite sweet and sugary. I'm excited to try more of their special flavors!

Yelp
An amazing experience with a sentimental and delicious homage to its predecessor! They take old classic flavors from the previous spot that used to be there and feature them as specials and this it's so sweet and awesome of them to do! The staff is a delight to talk to and the provide amazing recs and the donuts are made fresh!

Yelp
This is a "new style" donut shop - COPS. I see what you did there. Great employees. Make you feel welcome. Limited seating. More of a takeout vibe.

Yelp
A donut shop that opens at Noon? What are we even talking about here?? Have we lost the plot? Taking themselves way too seriously with this 'concept' foh

Yelp
They are Fantastic, you gotta cop some cops! they gave me great service, they got a great staff, and they tasted great! ( in my Tony the Tiger voice)

Yelp
Super yummy!! I had seen this place from a video on TikTok and decided to give it a try.. my my my !!! The donuts literally melt in your mouth. They're soft and warm and fresh every time. Might take a bit long to be ready but its definitely worth the wait. The staff was very informative and friendly. They had good music playing creating a welcoming atmosphere.

Yelp
Worst opening day ever. They tried to drum up interest by offering a free donut on their first day for people to try (great idea). Show up and there are two lines -- VIP and public -- like at a nightclub (terrible idea). They even have a truck with speakers set up blasting music. About 8 people in the public line, so I think, this should go fast, as it's easy to just hand out a donut and send people on their way. Instead, they invited all their hipster friends from the VIP line inside while the hoi polloi in the public line had to wait. After 10 minutes, I left, donut-less. These dumdums don't seem to know who eats donuts. Further, they so botched their promotion, they managed to annoy "the public" who actually buy donuts in order to impress their hipster buddies who don't. I used to visit when this place was The Donut Project, but I won't step into it now that it's these doofuses. Way to make your business fail.

Yelp
Donuts are more cakey than yeasty. Kinda too soft for my taste. Weekly flavor was chai vanilla glaze, it was okay. I think the cinnamon sugar flavor is best. Cute to share with friends.

Yelp
Love these donuts and the people were so kind and helpful when it came to deciding which flavors I'd like best . If you're in the west village you've gotta stop by !
