Coquetto

"An offshoot of the two-Michelin-Star Coque, Coquetto bears the indelible stamp of the Sandoval brothers. In this informal bistro-style eatery, quality products take centre stage." - Michelin Inspector

In Madrid's Top Restaurants, Chefs Are Choosing Homestyle Cooking Over Molecular Gastronomy | Condé Nast Traveler

"At their first restaurant, the gastro-temple Coque in southern Madrid, brothers Mario, Diego, and Rafael Sandoval became famous for testing the limits of what food can be—think frozen barley flowers and hydrolyzed Spanish omelets. But Coquetto, which opened in January, is all about pure hedonistic pleasure. Case in point: soppable escabeche like abuela used to make, and a peerless rendition of Castilian roast suckling pig that defies physics with its weightless, so-crisp-it-shatters skin. Entrées from about $25"

So far my favorite brunch spot in Madrid. Beautiful interior, calm atmosphere, the staff is super friendly as well as professional. If you have a food allergy I'd suggest making a reservation and mentioning it in the notes as the brunch menu is set and they need the notice to be able to accommodate it.

Definitely one of the most expensive meals we’ve paid for in our three weeks trip in Spain but the experience was truly amazing. I am allergic to alcohols so it’s quite difficult for me to order drinks in Spain. but the staff in this restaurant gave me the best mocktails ever without me telling her too much! It was probably one of the best mocktails I’ve ever had in my life. Each dish is amazing, the soup and the clams and even the dessert was well thought. I usually don’t splurge on food so this was one of the rare occasions, but they didn’t disappoint me. This restaurant actually make me feel like: I thank myself for working so hard to afford this, this is amazing!✨🥂

Excellent place. Came for a business lunch with a colleague and were very well looked after. Octopus, artichokes and salmon tartare were particularly good. Quiet but efficient service too. Perfect for a discussion with a colleague!

When I made the reservation, I was required to put my credit card details so I thought the restaurant has to be popular. Unfortunately I was not fully convinced with the food quality. The avocado salad was very salty. The skin of the torreznos was not crispy but chewy. My sea bass fish was not good at all. Definitely I will not go back.

Most of the dishes is perfect, especially the Almejas, it is super delicious. But unfortunately the Cochinillo was not that good, it was too dry and hard. However, I also recommend this restaurant.

Great experience, lovely menu and lots of vegetarian options. Staff was polite, seemed a bit not too busy though, cod fritters were delicious.

The pluma iberica was amazing, very tender. The Octopus was a bit chewy but the potato pure it came with was very particular, made with some spices. Great service, good attention to detail.
