Conveniently located close to the port, this restaurant has a very nice atmosphere and a pleasant setting.
The food started off strong. The oysters were fresh and nicely briny—we tried four different varieties and all of them were excellent. The bulot was also fresh, and the sardines were very yummy. We ordered the sardine and anchovy pizza, which was really tasty and well balanced. The beef tartare was another highlight and very well prepared.
Unfortunately, not everything lived up to expectations. The crab had almost no flavor. While the texture was fine, it completely lacked the natural sweetness you would expect from fresh seafood and tasted more like plain cold meat.
The worst part of the meal, however, was the mussels. They were clearly spoiled and smelled terrible. I had to handle them with a fork and my fingers, and even after washing my hands several times, the smell lingered. When the waitress asked how the food was, we honestly mentioned that everything was good except for the mussels. Instead of addressing the issue, she became offended and responded in a rude and unpleasant manner, which made the experience even worse.
Overall, while some dishes were very good, the spoiled mussels and the poor reaction from the staff left a very negative impression. The service and food quality does not justify the high price point.
