The Best Restaurants in Beaverton, Oregon | Eater Portland

"This Southwest Canyon Road Korean restaurant attracts crowds thanks to its super generous banchan assortment, range of kalguksu (knife-cut noodle soups), and hanjeongsik, an elaborate meal consisting of several small and large dishes like bulgogi and grilled croaker. Coredam is also one of the few spots in the area serving gejang, or raw marinated crab. Several of the shop’s stews and soups — like its spicy tofu sundubu-jjigae or ox bone soup seolleongtang — are ideal for cold Oregon days."

The Best Korean Restaurants and Food Carts in Portland, Oregon | Eater Portland

"The main appeal of this Beaverton restaurant is its banchan: Coredam’s assortment is perhaps the most extensive in Portland, with things like spicy raw marinated crab. When it comes to mains, the yukgaejang kalguksu is a highlight, pairing knife-cut noodles with a spicy, beefy broth. Note: Lines here can get long, and wait times can hit the multiple-hour mark; it’s best to arrive at least 30 minutes before the restaurant opens, particularly on weekends." - Rebecca Roland

Best service I've had in a while! Very welcoming staff, the waitress was very friendly and it was a welcoming environment. Very clean inside especially the bathrooms. Best authentic Korean cuisine in all of Oregon. I even ordered more food just to take home and share with the rest of my family. I will be coming back!

Just ate here for the third time and this is easily my favorite Korean restaurant in Beaverton and the Portland metro area. We just spent a hot day at the river so we got mul naengmyeon to cool off, and tteok manduguk. Both were really delicious with well balanced flavors. The manduguk was packed with mandu, rice cakes, and the most tender pieces of brisket. I'm very serious about naengmyeon, and this is the best I've ever had. Super cold broth, nice chewy noodles, and a bright little spicy sauce. The banchan situation: I could just eat banchan and rice and be totally happy here lol. Kkakdugi, seaweed, marinated crabs and kimchi were my favorites but they all hit! They're very generous and fast with refills too! Which brings me to the service, which is very kind and attentive. My husband and I both work in the industry and after we left, we kept coming back to how well taken care of we felt. And then on the way out, there's a little coffee machine! Every restaurant in the world should have this. Thank you for the excellent meal! ❤️

If you are looking for authentic Korean dishes, this is the place! My sister has tried many Korean places and she said this was the best she’s ever had! The staff is friendly and helpful with choosing what to order. We ordered the spicy octopus which was delish!! Not as spicy as I anticipated and the sweet and spicy are a perfect balance. We also enjoyed the hot stone bibimbap, yukgaejang soup and mackerel. Everything was delicious!! Def make a stop here for tasty Korean food!

Been here a few times now and it gets better every time! Everything I've had so far has been delicious, from the famous marinated crab, to homemade dumplings, galbi, and the seollneongtan. This time I had the naengmyeon and it was perfect for a boy summer day. The variety of banchan and the quality of the rice really sets them apart from other Korean restaurants in my opinion. So many different side dishes, many that you don't see anywhere else in town. It's nice and cozy inside, feels very homey. The free coffee machine is a cute touch. Service is very friendly and always quick to refill banchan or grab another drink. Will come back often!

If you're looking for authentic Korean food this is your jam. The spicy raw marinated crab and black bean noodles were phenomenal. Everyone there was so friendly and helpful. Will absolutely be going back!

They serve home style Korean dishes, the food is so comforting and delicious. They serve ask dishes with banchan too so you get lots of value. Overall an amazing restaurant, but usually busy.

The tag to the only picture I got to take for the post is going to say it all. Can you believe I haven't even received the entree I orderedi though I didn't love my entree, probably because I didn't really know what to order! The different pickled items, sweet tofu sesame jellies, seaweed salad, hot steamed rice, and the rest!!! more than made up for the hot beef no rib soup I got. When you have great food you can feel the love and the high and I am definitely feeling high.

Food was very tasty and authentic. Service was good but not great. Be prepared… this is a busy and noisy restaurant. No ambiance but a very diverse menu with so many different options to choose from.

Yelp
Wow. So good! I'm kicking myself I didn't take pictures of our meal at Coredam this week. The next time we go (and there will definitely be a next time), I will add some photos to this review! There are so many Korean restaurants popping up all over Beaverton and greater Portland area these days. This is wonderful news to my wife and I, who love Korean food! Full disclosure: my wife is from Korea, so she may be a little biased. I, however, have an "acquired taste" for Korean food. This means that there are Korean dishes I love, some I like, and some I don't, probably only because I haven't tried them enough to acquire the taste. It's July 2025, and to my wife, summer means naengmyeon! This is a dish she grew up with and is soemthing she looks forward to every summer. What is it? Cold soup! LOL! Wait, what? "You mean like gaspacho?" Well, yes, kind of. Naengmyeon is a noodle dish and comes with an icy cold broth and you will typically only find it offered in summer. The focus of the dish is texture, due to the chewy noodles, and flavor. Nothing is more disappointing to my wife than Naengmyeon with a boring broth! Such was not her experience this week, as the Naengmyeon was superb, according to my wife! I, of course, ordered the Korean dish I crave the most - spicy pork bulgoki. Up to this point, I had rated the spicy pork bulgoki at Nak Won in Beaverton as the best spicy pork I've had, but after two visits to Coredam, I have to say that their spicy pork is just as good! How lucky am I, right? Note that spicy pork bulgoki may be called, Dwaeji Bulgoki or Jeyuk Bokkeum, on the menus at different restaurants. It's all the same dish. In this case, what I had at Coredam was cooked to perfection! It always comes with a bed of onions, or at least lots thrown in, and these onions were roasted almost to the point of caramelization. Together, coated in that wonderful gochujang sauce, they combine into one terrific flavor bomb. So damn good! The other thing we both enjoy about Coredam is the Korean side dishes they give you (banchan). They gave us a very nice assortment! This included two kimchees, one of which I was unfamiliar with. It was turnip-based, but the turnip pieces were cubed or sliced into bite-size pieces and that kimchee sauce was totally addicting! My wife says we can get this at H-mart. I'll be hunting for it! Often, the banchan we get at restaurants has 2 or 3 that I don't care for, but in this case it was all good! It did include small crab pieces, too. I love crab, but didn't partake of these because I would probably end up wearing a lot of it home. LOL! My wife is much daintier than I am, so she gobbled it down. It also included garlic stems, which is nice! I'm getting hungry again, just thinking about it. The service was great! The waitresses are friendly and eager to help, and will replace any banchan dishes you gobble up before your main meal arrives! I don't know who their chef is, but he or she sure knows how to cook! We will be back!

Yelp
This place has so many bunchan choices and amazing lunch specials at $15.95 that include a main entree (Bulgogi or Spicy Pork and grilled mackerel), rice, seaweed soup, and all the side dishes of course. I mean come on, what a deal! It was pretty empty when we went on a Tuesday right when they opened and you know it's a good sign when you see the ajumas and the ajashis dining there. The service is very nice and friendly and I really appreciate the special plate set for my toddler! It is a mom and pop and feels very homey. The lunch special portions were perfect for my friend and I to be full and of course you can always ask for more refills of the banchans. It looks like they have cold noodles for the summer so we will definitely come back to try that on hot summer days!

Yelp
Great spot to eat authentic korean food! The side dishes (Banchan) are very good and they replenish well too! I recommend any of the soups- SO GOOD! And the seasonal specials are the best. It is a smaller restaurant and the ambience is very casual and in classic korean restaurant fashion. The wall art is funny if you look close enough. Service is great! But keep in mind it can get busy. You'll get your food, it's ok. Also, don't be afraid to just raise your hand or say "excuse me". The reason it's not 5 stars is because the prices are a little high.

Yelp
I really enjoy the army stew and variety of banchan that is provided here. There can be a bit of a wait at times so I usually try to get there early close to opening time for dinner.

Yelp
Such an unassuming gem of a place. It was filled with elderly folks catching up with family and friends, business people, couples and friends meeting up. With such a diverse crowd, you know the food is good! We got a table quickly and got cups of barley tea. The place was crowded for lunch, so service took a bit though they were super nice. We got one lunch special with bulgogi, which is such a deal!! And a spicy beef stew with mandu. Food came quickly! All the banchan were good. It included the marinated crab. Love the fish cakes, bean sprouts, and radish. The rice was a beautifully chewy texture and the fried croaker fish was so tender and perfectly seasoned. The bulgogi was also good with little mushrooms and we made little packages with lettuce and banchan to eat together. It also came with a seaweed soup. The spicy beef with mandu was perfect! It would be amazing on a cloudy or rainy day. There was a hearty amount of mandu and the beef was tender. We loved it with the rice. Will definitely come back for that perfect home cooked meal!

Yelp
I ordered the Hot Stone Bowl Bibimbap and subbed tofu. I thought it was delicious, but the portions were a bit smaller than what I expected for $20, especially with the pieces of tofu. Staff were nice, and it took awhile to bring out my family's meals, but the presentation of the dishes were lovely, especially with the soups and stir fry dishes. I like how they also serve tea!

Yelp
Food 4/ 5 Service 4/5 Ambiance 4/5 I've been visiting this spot regularly since their grand opening, but I'm only now getting around to leaving a review. When they first opened, the hype was real, I remember waiting around 40 minutes to an hour just to get a table! Thankfully things have calmed down since then, and while there's still a chance you'll wait during peak hours, it's nowhere near as long now. They also have a parking lot, though spaces are limited, so plan accordingly. I've tried many of their dishes here they've yet to disappoint, and I also absolutely love their banchan selection, especially the spicy raw marinated crabs as side?! It was really good to try especially if you're unsure of wanting to order it or not. They offer some traditional sides that you don't often find at other Korean restaurants, which makes this place stand out! Let's talk about the food: *LA Galbi* It's my go-to dish at any Korean restaurant, and theirs is perfectly grilled with a delicious smoky flavor. *Yangji Seolleongtang (Beef brisket)* if you've never tried this dish before it's clear broth with a rich, savory flavor from long-simmered beef bones and brisket so it's a very hearty and comforting dish. Will come with salt and onion for you to season to taste because all the flavor you're gonna get is from the actual bone broth itself. *Yukgaejang Kalguksu* The soup is spicy from the Korean chili and the beef flavor makes it savory, think of this like an elevated Korean ramen! *Sundubu (Korean Hot Tofu)* Had a strong seafood taste wasn't as memorable and for $20 is kinda pricy for sundubu. *Coredam special Hhe Mul Jeongol* Portion is really big we could not finish this even more 3 people, lots of seafoods and veggies in here, this is perfect to share and will warm you up on a cold day! *Spicy Crab* Raw crab itself doesn't have a strong fishy flavor which is really good, the meat is soft and the spicy marinade adds a nice flavorful punch. Can be messy to eat so ask for gloves! *Hot stone bowl bibimbap* My mom, who's very particular about her food, loves this! It's packed with fresh veggies and beef, and if you let the rice sit, you get that amazing crunchy, scorched layer at the bottom. *Tteokbokki* is another favorite of mine, it's sweet, spicy, savory, and the rice cakes are soft and chewy. I get it every time I visit. Another standout is their rice, which is served in a special pot that keeps it warm throughout the meal, small detail, but it makes a huge difference. They offer a wide variety of menu options, so there's something for everyone. The flavors are very homey and comforting. As a bonus, I absolutely love their instant coffee machine!!!! It makes surprisingly delicious coffee, so don't forget to give it a try just press the button! Pricing isn't the cheapest in the area, but I think it's worth it for the quality and authenticity. I've noticed a lot of older Korean customers dining here, which I take as a sign of how true to flavor their dishes are. Overall, this is one of my favorite spot. I always leave with a full belly and will definitely be back whenever I'm in the area!

Yelp
We decided to drop by this place the day after new years as we were craving something that would keep us warm and welcome us into the new year. The space has lots of seating and we got a table right away. With complimentary barley-flavored hot tea, we indulged in a plethora of banchan. Had your typical items but it also came with marinated carb legs! I'm not a huge fan, as it's usually too much work I'd want to put in, but I was surprised that came with the meal! Ordered a tteok-manduguk, which was amazing. The broth was seasoned well and the meat was tender. We also ordered the yangji seolleongtang which had a very natural-tasting broth that you can salt to your own taste! Both dishes were good and we'd definitely come back to try out other dishes! Would recommend coming, but may want to keep your party size to 6 (potentially) or less, as you would have to split up your group to different tables.

Yelp
It's a little tricky to find Corredan as it's not facing TV Highway directly, but we got a glance of it and decided to give it a try! We arrived at 5pm as other reviewers suggested and we were glad we did; as it filled up quickly around 5:30! The restaurant decoration is simple and a bit nostalgic, everything looked clean and felt spacious. The servers were all very friendly and took our order right away. As they served the banchan, we were pleasantly surprised by 13 different dishes, including marinated raw crab which was quite tasty. We ordered the Seollangtang (beef bone broth) and Yook ge Jang Kal Guk Su (spicy beef noodle soup) and both were good. I liked my Seollangtang as it was creamy and savory. I did have to season it by putting my own salt/pepper on the soup, but that's typical for that dish. My husband's Yook Ge Jang Kal Guk Su came with a large portion and was loaded with lots of noodles. As we looked around, we saw many dishes with huge portions and realized that's a signature of this restaurant. Overall, we are happy to find Corredan as it is another solid Korean restaurant in our neighborhood. I'd recommend it if you'd like to try some authentic Korean dishes.

Yelp
Came here on a Tuesday afternoon before their closing for lunch break. It was quick service and quiet and friendly as well. It was perfect for us after hectic afternoon and just wanted to dine in peace and quietness with a newborn too Ordered their dolsot bibimbap so good. Stone pot mixed rice with veggies and beef. Sizzling hot! With fried egg on top, perfect! They didn't have seaweed to give to customer but still offered me the ones they would eat themselves so I could wrap it with the rice in it. Cannot go wrong with traditional sullungtang on a chilly day, so try mixed meats of tripe and tendon. Silky broth that warms your soul And spicy galbitang, sooo seasoned and an abundance of flavor! Soup was perfect amount of spicy and goes so well with rice. 10/10 korean comfort food place and they've expanded their menu with even more soups!!! Just want to order everything there!

Yelp
someone recommended we come here and we loved it. we ordered multiple dishes to split amongst 5 people, and not only was it reasonably priced, but it tasted delicious, had decent portions, and we got lots of banchan refills :) it was clearly a local restaurant and the service was excellent. we finished every single dish... it was that good! ordered: kalbi bulgogi tteokbokki yangji seolleongtang jajangmyeon
google avatar

Jez V.

Yelp
Everything about this restaurant was great. Staff were so welcoming and attentive. They had so many options for banchan and plus side is they include their marinated crab! We decided to order their tteokbokki, kalbi, and sundubu. Kalbi was delicious and perfect. Their tteokbokki was also really yummy, with a big portion. Their sundubu arrived piping hot (still boiling) but perfect to mix the egg around. They had so much seafood included in the sundubu, which was very generous. Other restaurants tend to skimp out with their seafood but Coredam doesn't. P.S. We arrived around 11:30am on a Friday and it was so difficult to find parking! I assumed everybody was dining in. To my surprise, it wasn't too busy when we got in. I guess all the other cars parked nearby were for the other businesses.

Yelp
The closest I've felt like I was in a regular restaurant in korea here in Portland. Good selection of classic Korean soups and meat dishes instead of the more popular street food dishes at many of the more fusion-y places. They even have Sundae soup here which I've rarely seen. This place I guess got really popular bc of its impressive banchan spread, particularly that they include raw marinated spicy crab as one of the dishes which is awesome. And if you want more you can order a larger portion in the Hansik (set meal). There is no way to eat this and look dignified so just accept the mess ur gonna go thru some napkins. There's a total of around 10 different banchan, which is standard in korea but good for here in the states. We went for one of the beef hotpot w/ multiple cuts of beef & tendon in a clear bone broth which was very nice w/ the thinly sliced beef. That alone would've been plenty for 2 but we wanted to try one more so we got the Oogeoji Galbitang which is like a meatier more seasoned Galbitang w/ kimchi. The bone they gave was so big & meaty after a while of scraping the meat off I just gave up and went caveman style on it. When we went around 6 on a weeknight there was only 1 other table but by the end of the meal the place was nearly full. Prices may seem a bit high but portions are very large & good for sharing. Highly recommend if u are looking for authentic Korean food.

Yelp
I had a delicious meal at Coredam. The restaurant was busy when I was there but the service was good. All the banchan were delicious. The Yukgaejang Manbuguk soup was very delicious. The dumplings were tasty and the broth was medium spicy. The beef and noodles really hit too. I even had leftovers to eat the next day. Overall, I would come back here for another great meal.

Yelp
Second time here! They have the sweetest ladies working and a very homey feeling atmosphere. Their portions are massive and I always have food to take home. I've had two different hotpot style soups now and they're okay, I might go for something different next time. Their banchan are so plentiful and generous! That alone makes this place worth it. They also have complementary tea. While I've had better Korean food elsewhere, their prices here are very affordable. Between the price and the kindness of staff, I'll keep coming back to this place.
google avatar

Yelp
Everything we had was delicious, I had been so excited to try this place but the last coupe times we went, there was either a long wait or no parking in the small lot. Did take out instead and was not disappointed! The banchan was super tasty, just didn't get the spicy crab, which I guess is only for dine in orders? Next time I'd love to try that.
google avatar

Yelp
We came in for lunch on the Friday after New Year's so it wasn't too busy and we didn't have to wait. We couldn't decide between dishes so ordered a few to share and ended up taking food home. We got the stone bowl bibimbap, raw sliced squid bowl which came with plenty of veggies and rice, tteokbokki, and a beef broth soup. Everything was absolutely delicious and the portions were on the larger side. Service was great and we left wanting to come back for more. They have a lunch special Mon-Thu as well .
google avatar

Melodie D.

Yelp
I understand why people were excited when this restaurant first opened, but I wouldn't exactly wait 1+ hours to dine-in here. I went when they were still relatively new so I think they were still working out how to make things efficient. That being said, we waited about 45 minutes, after a 30 min wait (which, considering their average wait time around opening was 1+ hours seemed pretty quick). I was most excited about getting their gejang banchan, but unfortunately it seemed like they were no longer offering that as a banchan option by the time I had the opportunity to try it out. The dish that I found myself most surprised by was their dakdoritang...super hearty with chicken stewed to tender perfection. As far as their other dishes, although they weren't bad, I did think they were a bit overly heavy/dense. Still, a solid spot for people looking for foods like soondaeguk, galbitang, etc. Wait staff were also very kind...even showing us how to operate the fun, automatic coffee machine they had available to all customers (make sure to grab a cup on your way out! It's a great way to end the meal.)
google avatar

Rin K.

Yelp
Except for their seasonal menus and appetizers, all main courses are served with 10 different banchans (side dishes). Banchans are mostly preserved ones (jangahchi), tasty and authentic. We ordered soondaeguk and yukgaejang, which were both delicious and felt authentically Korean. Yukgaejang tasted like ones you have in Bunsikjip in Korea. Soju can be also ordered. The service was nice. The ladies were kind and attentive. The overall ambiance felt more like a hole-in-the-wall compared to what I previously saw on Instagram. While I wouldn't say it was the best ambiance, it felt nostalgic, reminiscent of old K-town in LA.

Yelp
My only legit go to neighborhood Korean fix!!! Sooo much Ban Chan variety with every order!! Super friendly and definitely recommend visiting at lunch time versus heavy wait times at dinner and full parking lot!! Please go support this new Beaverton neighborhood business with amazing and sweet owners and very hospitable and welcoming servers!!

Yelp
My husband and I were craving Korean food and decided to try out a new spot, and wow--Coredam might just be our new favorite Korean restaurant in Beaverton! I ordered the beef brisket seolleongtang soup, and it was absolutely delicious. The broth was so pure and flavorful that I nearly finished the entire bowl on my own. It came with a side of rice that was perfectly cooked and complemented the soup beautifully. My husband got the tteokguk, a savory and filling rice cake soup with beef and green onion. He loved every bite of it. But the real standout was the banchan! There was a potato banchan that I couldn't get enough of--I asked for refills four times! The seaweed and bean sprouts were also incredible. Honestly, you can't go wrong with any of the banchan here; they were all amazing. The service was fantastic, too. The lady serving us was so kind and never made me feel bad about all my banchan refill requests. We even left with leftovers, and our total bill was under $50--a great value for such high-quality food. We were so impressed and will 100% recommend Coredam to anyone looking for authentic and delicious Korean food. Can't wait to go back!

Yelp
After seeing this spot blow up on Tiktok, my boyfriend and I were impatiently waiting for the hype to die down before visiting. We came here at 4PM on a Thursday (it opens at 5PM) just in case of a line. In the end, we didn't have to wait at all, and everyone who was there when the doors opened were able to grab a seat. BUT! For those who arrived at 5:10 or even 5:05 ended up having to wait 1.5+ hours. I recommend saving your time and coming at ~4:45. The menu is pretty diverse, with many items you often don't see at Korean restaurants in Portland. We ended up getting the raw marinated crab, the galbitang, and the spicy chicken special. Everything took about 45 minutes to 1 hour to come out. The raw marinated crab had a delicious marinade but the crab quality was only okay. The galbitang was delicious and a huge portion. The spicy chicken was also a very big portion. Although it was delicious, I was a bit disappointed that there were no carrots in the dish even though it was listed on the menu. Overall, although the restaurant is delicious, I think it is a bit overhyped.

Yelp
Perhaps we didn't come in on the best day. This place didn't live up to the hype as far as we're concerned. My wife and I stopped by on an overcast day 2-3 weeks ago. We arrived just as they opened. Nearly all the parking in front of the building was taken up, but there was hardly anyone in there. They sure did get packed quickly around 12:30pm, though, which is when we were getting ready to leave. The ambiance has a welcoming "hole in the wall" charm. Nobody offered us water and when we atrempted to wave someone over, the server(s) were busy catering to other customers. We ordered bibimbap and sweet pork bulgogi. The food was okay. Decent quality food that, when combined with their portion sizes, did not match the cost. I'm not Korean and I've never been to Korea. So the nostalgia aspect of this place is lost on me. But I do love Korean food and I've eaten at nearly every Korean restaurant west of Portland. I'm a regular of some spots. Comparatively, there are much better places I'd rather go.

Yelp
We dined in with a group of seven and were easily accommodated with a reservation. This is a small hole-in-the-wall type restaurant. Service was fast and efficient. The side dishes were numerous and very tasty. We all enjoyed our main dishes as well. Make sure to ask for gloves from the server if you order the raw marinated crab!
google avatar

Sam T.

Yelp
Pop and mom shops are the way to go. Delicious, authentic Korean food served in great portions have won my heart. We got the spicy chicken and the meat was almost fall off the bone tender. It complimented with the spice and sauce and overall a perfection of a dish. Their side dishes were also great and complimented the meal greatly. I would 100% come back for the Spicy Chicken alone

Yelp
Even if you arrive minutes before they open, there are most likely folks waiting in their cars. The inside has some remodel attempts on what feels like once an old teriyaki shop ~ modern vinyl flooring with aged seating, some interesting old village drawings on the wall with an outdated drop ceiling. This restaurant could have so much more of an elevated feel if they would properly remodel. The wait ~ during peak times there is a chicken scratch notebook list. You must sign in once you enter otherwise you will be ignored. Long, long wait times to be expected. As busy as it gets, the service is still friendly & you cannot complain when watching them hustle. They have always been polite & courteous which could be said as a rarity in a Corean restaurant. Best Banchan spread in town. Sometimes 10+ dishes, fresh, unique variety, refills. They bring the original experience back to Corean dining. And their claim to fame to offer marinated raw crab as a banchan dish is not cheap to do. Food ~ tasty & not overly salty. Soup broths have good depth, meats are fresh, portions great. If you go after the rush, you will be disappointed to find they have run out of many menu items. *We have witnessed some folks of low character to cheat their way in front of the line by writing their name ahead of the list instead of in order. Call them out! Repeat customers. Worth the drive.

Yelp
Came here specifically for the raw marinated crab and it did not disappoint. We came on weekday right before closing during their morning hours, and there was no wait. Food and service were also very fast. It was a very hot day, and we had errands to run after. Our server was kind enough to give us a block of ice to keep our crab fresh while running errands afterwards.

Yelp
Okay I love korean food and this place is excellent! I got the Spicy pork Bulgolgi and we shared the Tteokbokki for the appetizer (along with all the small plates that come with ordering) everything was so fantastic and we had a great time trying all the small plates. The bulgolgi was really a treat, definitely not something I know how to make at home. Service was good and fast and we were seated right away but we also waited in line for it to open. I do suspect it almost always has a line but we went for Saturday dinner so that was extra dicy. I was a little surprised by how hyped this place is that the decor is kind of basic. It didn't detract in any way, I think it really said "we focus on food here" and I did too frankly. Wouldn't change anything about our experience here.

Yelp
I have are here three times and I have to say... the food is very flavored and done right. You can taste the love in each soup or dish you order. To eat this the next day as leftovers is even better. Be patient as there is that many staff and they are all very kind. When I leave this place I dream of when I'll be back to try the other dishes or soup I did not order. The ban Chan alone is already my favorite. I love the rice that comes with it.

Yelp
Food excellent, and their side dishes are from SE part of Korea, so it is different them typical Korean restaurants and overall I really liked it.,ordered jungsik which is typically mix of meet and gosh dish with more extensive banchan. What I liked most about their food is that it was not salty!! Bulgoki junggol ( hotpot style) was too sweet, which is to be expected... I didn't realize it was that style, so my fault ordering that. What I did not like about the place was service. They were busy but had two empty table, and we were the only ones in waiting... I asked for a menu to look at while waiting further the table. Did not get a menu and took them 20 mins to seat us. They only had two people working on weekend night with almost full house. So aside for that I really enjoyed the meal and probably will be back to try some other dishes, as I really really liked their banchan!

Yelp
This was my first time having Korean food and I felt the hospitality was unmatched. Since this is a new restaurant, there was still a line out the door at opening, but they were prepared and handled the influx well. We were greeted with a huge variety of appetizer/sides that each table was given (again, hospitality!) and most of which I'd never tried before. Our server was very brief but helpful. The hot stone bowl was one of the only vegetarian options, but I knew that going in. It was busy and loud, but a super fun environment to catch up with friends.

Yelp
This place is a hidden gem in the area. The food quality and portion sizes are great. You'll find many Korean dishes here that are hard to find at other Korean restaurants.

Yelp
Stopped by on a Friday as a solo diner, there was about a 5 minute wait with 1 family of 4 in front of me. The space is small but well layed out so the servers can come through quickly with carts of food. I ordered the sundubu, which came quickly with banchan and a side of rice. The sundubu was so good, very flavorful with lots of tofu and octopus, an egg, and some clam and mussels in their shells. I was a little worried at first about how much octopus there was because it's not usually my favorite but the texture was really nice and I enjoyed it. The egg (served raw) cooked perfectly after a few minutes. They had the traditional banchan with kimchi, bean sprouts and pickled stuff, my favorites were the pickled garlic scales and a savory pickled green I couldn't figure out. I'll definitely be back for the sundubu and to try a few of the other soups on the menu that looked amazing!

Yelp
This is the newest Korean restaurant in Beaverton and it is very much worth the hype and worth the wait. I would recommend coming here when it opens due to the long wait. This is the only Korean restaurant in Beaverton that serves spicy marinated crabs and it is a must for ordering. I also recommend their soup. Last thing that makes this place great is the really friendly staff and great service!

Yelp
Home style Korean food with non-home style pricing. KEY POINTS: - Expect to wait a long time. If you recall how long lines at NaKwon used to be, this is very similar. Parking is street or around the building. But there's a LINE OUT THE DOOR! EXPECT TO WAIT LONG HANGRY HOURS. Decor: very simple, expect nothing fancy this is like grandmas house. WHEN YOU ENTER: - Head right to the giant coffee machine and sign your name on the clip board there. No they won't text you, or call you, so prepare to stand around the building because they will pop out to call your name. That's it. If you miss them then you gotta wait longer. - Make sure the rest of your party is present. Or they won't seat you. - They prefer you only order all the food at once, because they are a small business. FOOD THOUGHTS: I think the Korean marinaded crab is amazing here, it's spicy, not fishy, and super fresh. 10/10 recommended. Portion sizes: Everything is basically $20 and not a large portion, most things are good to split with two people. Our spicy rice cakes (dubokee) was so tiny at $20. Lots of onions, giant cut fish cake, but didn't have alot of rice cakes (which is insane because it's $3-5 for a whole bag). The bulgogi bowl was ok sized and feeds about two people but not three. It also contained a ton of potato noodles with it to use as filler (this is a huge gripe for me) so not so much beef. They skimp. Spicy squid was good but a ton of onions in the mix so not a lot of squid but still good. The bone broth soup was ok, but more single serve size which at $19-20 is insane. Same goes for the soondubu (spicy tofu soup) the bowl was very small and more fit for a single serving. Overall I think the raw seafood really shines! BUT THATS IT. The flavoring and dishes offered for everything was pretty simple and standard at any Korean establishment, for the price I likely won't come here for anything other than the raw marinaded seafood, with the wait time being 1.5 hrs and up it's not worth it. (We waited 2 hours and our bill was $200). There are other Korean joints with better pricing and flavors for standard dishes.

Yelp
Ah. May. Zing. Wow. You know a korean place is legit when the koreans are waiting in line and the restaurant is bustling with no frills.

Yelp
Sadly, they were out of the seafood pajeon, which seems strange to me. I'm not sure which ingredient they would run out of? Banchan (included): we got 9 side dishes. While I'm impressed that raw marinated crab is included, I wasn't really wowed by most of the dishes. They will give you refills, but I was not bold enough to see if we could refill the crab, especially since we ordered the full dish :) Spicy crab 4.5/5: aside from being a bit tedious to eat, the sauce was delicious with a nice sweetness. The crab shell is quite brittle, so it's definitely doable to eat without hurting your teeth. You get a good amount of crab. Doganitang 3.5/5: The tendon was a good texture: slightly chewy, but soft. You season the soup yourself, and I made the mistake of adding too much salt, so taste as you go! Bu dae joengol 4.5/5: This is one of my favorite Korean dishes. The version here is good, although very black pepper-forward. (My favorite is still Koreana.) They bring you free hot tea, and there is also a free coffee machine. The rice was served in personal hot metal bowls the rice was cooked in. It seemed overcooked and too wet at first glance, but it ended up being nice and creamy when mixed into the soups! Service was friendly and fast. There is limited parking around the building plus street parking. We'll be back to try more dishes!

Yelp
The tteokbokki came with lots of fish cakes which is my favorite part of the dish. The rice cakes were cooked well and the spice level was just right. The banchan is well-stacked with various dishes and you can request for more throughout your meal.

Yelp
Been waiting to try this place but has had such long waits everytime we try. We came at 7:30 on a Tuesday and were seated immediately which was amazing. One thing to note is there's a signup clipboard on the other side of the free coffee. If you didn't know it was there you wouldn't be able to see it. At least our case. We ordered the seafood kalgutsu, spicy chicken and the spicy crab. The food came out fairly quickly and was delicious. The spicy crab was a pretty good portion for the price and the crab tasted decently fresh. The crab pieces were small but had a lot of meat and was definitely worth extracting the leg meat. Glad to have a good marinated crab dish locally. The seafood kalgutsu was so good. Better than expected. The broth was clammy tasting and the noodles soaked up the broth flavor so well. There was an a variety of seafood in the dish as well. The spicy chicken was good too and was a huuuuuge portion. I don't recommend ordering 3 dishes with that if there's only 2 people. Plenty of leftover. The service was also very quick and friendly. Our waitress was very nice and would make lighthearted jokes. Especially teasing about how much food we had left. Would definitely recommend coming here and we will be back for sure.

Yelp
Nice little Korean spot in Beaverton. Place is quite busy but no wait. They have their tables arranged efficiently to accommodate a lot of diners. Marinated crab was good nice sauce and if you can get past eating raw crab it's good. Army stew was good served 4 not 2 like the menu says.

Yelp
Beaverton is already a hot spot for Korean restaurants so I was surprised to see a new place open up. But this spot is like no other, they offer some menu items that you can't get at any other Korean restaurant in the area. It's no wonder it was packed when I came here on a week night evening. For example, I was excited to try the Spicy Marinated Crab. This is a dish I heard so much about but never had the opportunity to try it until now. The fresh raw crab was plump and juicy. I love the spicy sauce that it is covered in, there was a good amount of heat too. Their variety of banchan side dishes are great, there were some dishes I've never tried before. Highly recommend trying this place!

Yelp
Came once and the line was out the door, we had to sadly give up that time but we came back for another try and got in after a 45 min wait. The people are very nice. Some of the friendlier services you would get an Asian restaurant, I would say. We're all very excited and wanted to try everything. We ended up getting the Teokbokki, Spicy Calamari, Ueogi Galbitang, and the Spicy Chicken for Two. The feast began with banchans. They got a mix of classics, like kimchi and fish cake, and novelty items like raw squid, raw marinated crab, and raw marinated shrimp. It's fun to try the rarer items. The seafood was certainly fresh, not fishy at all eventhough they're raw! Great texture as well. Their classic items were also solid. The dishes came out soon after. The Calamari was nice and saucy. Again, their calamari was very fresh. Great chew but not too tough. I also like the Teokbokki quite a bit with the not overly sweet sauce and perfectly cooked teok and fish cake. The Galbitang came next and it came with two gigantic beef ribs in a kimchi broth. The ribs were nice and tender; the meat was falling off the bone. I did wish the broth was a little stronger, maybe more seasoned or stewed for longer. The meat would absorb more of the flavors that way too. Similarly for the Spicy Chicken, the meat was very well-cooked but it didn't really absorb any of the stew flavors so it's a bit lackluster there. Other than that, the portion was big enough for four people with lots of juicy chicken and potatoes. Overall, we had a good time but I did think there are better Korean spots around. The flavors of the dishes weren't the best in my opinion. Maybe they're new and still adjusting but for now they're not top of my list, especially with the craze that's going on around them.

Yelp
Been here twice. Food is 4/5. Service 2/4. My most recent visit was for lunch and it took 20 minutes for waitress to take our order. It also didn't help that we became before a few other parties of which the waitress took their orders before us, and proceeded to pour water at all tables before taking our order. Everything on the menu is delicious. $15.99 lunch special is a solid deal. Service just sucks

Yelp
My friend and I went actually right at opening, and it was already packed and busy. The waitresses were nice, but super busy. It's a small store so there were actually a bunch of people waiting on the sign up sheet once we were seated. We got the combo set 1, and did notice some items mentioned we'd get were missing, but it's not too big of a deal. I wish though for the raw marinated crab they gave us gloves. We were given 1 napkin to fend off all the delicious sauce on our hands, haha. Overall the food was good, it did take a while to flag someone down for a check though

Yelp
Tip: Come early! I arrived 30 minutes early just to make sure we got one of the tables when they opened. We went the 2nd half of the day they are open from 5pm-9pm. Better to wait 30 minutes than an hour! Which will be the case if you come after they open. The line was around the building! This place has got people going crazy. Also good to come early because parking is limited! There's maybe like 15 spots in front of the restaurant. If you don't find a spot there, you'll have to find street parking. But good news, the hype is real! They serve you with a cup of hot barley tea once you are seated. Servers are so nice and friendly. I ordered the yangji seolleongtang, yukgaejang kalguksu, & LA kalbi. They bring out 10 different banchan! One of them being one of the reasons this place has blown up, their raw marinated crab! Also the fact that this Korean place offers a variety of Korean dishes that are not found at other Korean spots here in the PDX area. All the food was delicious, my favorite was the yangji seollongtang. The broth was so simple but good. The place has a small mom and pop shop feel, which is why seating is so limited. But it adds to the ambiance, all the tables were filled upon opening but it was such a nice feeling, people with their loved ones, all bonding over a nice meal. This place is a 10/10 for me! Will be back to try more Korean food.

Yelp
Finally! A Korean restaurant in Oregon that serves a variety of banchan and raw marinated crab! I got to try a lot of sides I've never had before such as the squid. I hope to get to try the raw shrimp and perilla leaves next time. The raw marinated crab was super yummy. I thought I was indifferent about them until I had it again here. I also like the complimentary barley tea. Aside from the banchan and crab, everything else was nothing to write home about. The food was good but I've had better at another restaurant nearby there. I think all the dishes could use more spice. I noticed the portions were also smaller than other restaurants yet had the same high pricing. The stone rice idea is cool but our rice was super mushy, and after talking to friends who also went, it seems like it wasn't just my experience. Food also didn't come out super hot and I wish it did. The ladies serving us were super nice and checked up on us a lot. I would come back for the sides, raw marinated crab and maybe something from their specials if I come with a big group. I was really hoping to try their galbitang and galbijjim so hopefully they'll offer it soon. Try to come with a big group so you can try lots of things! It's not on the menu but I overheard someone order soy raw marinated crabs instead of spicy so you can ask for that if that's more up your alley.

Yelp
Don't be confused by the signage. This is no longer Superbowl Teriyaki(rip), but what supersedes it is the hottest new Korean restaurant in Beaverton. Got here right at 5pm, which is opening dinner time, and there was already a long line out the door. Fyi you're suppose to write your name down on a list and they'll seat you accordingly. I'd still suggest coming here a little earlier than 5pm so you can get seated right away. We ended up waiting a total of 2 hours before getting seated. Even with the long wait I'm still giving this place 5 stars for having some specialty Korean dishes you can't get anywhere else in the Portland tri-state area. The spicy raw crab in particular was definitely worth waiting for. I think they also serve it as part of the banchan but we opted to order a whole plate of it. They unfortunately don't give you gloves so it was a bit messy to eat. I also wish they pre-cracked some of the legs because it was difficult to suck the meat out. Nevertheless the spicy marinate was so flavorful and savory. It was pretty mild in terms of spice too so very manageable if you can't handle spicy. We also ordered the sundubu and spicy pork bulgogi which were both delicious. The spicy pork bulgogi could probably be cooked a little longer so there'd be more chew to it. Tofu soup was good and comforting to eat. I hope to come back during slower weekday times because the wait was insane but I'm happy to see this place getting good business! The food is bomb and worth all the rave reviews!
