Best Restaurants in the Domain in Austin | Eater Austin

"This Downtown restaurant recently opened a second location in the Domain, promising an all-day menu of “feel good food.” Breakfast offers both a buffet and a la carte menu with buttermilk pancakes and egg fritatas, and a brunch menu that boasts homemade biscuits, crab cake Benedict, and peppered bacon. Lunch and dinner are just as enticing, with dishes like Navajo fry bread served with whipped brown butter and spiced agave, chorizo deviled eggs, and wagyu beef skewers dripping in a red chili glaze. For mains, look to dishes including salmon served with sweet onion puree and charred broccolini; truffled bucatini; and Texas wagyu rib-eye sourced from Rosewood Ranch in Ennis and served with red chile truffle butter, grilled peppers and onions, and crispy potatoes. Pair with one of its signature cocktails, like the Texas Sun, a combination of gin, apricot, strawberry oleo, and lemon house bubbles." - Darcie Duttweiler

We went to Corinne’s in the Westin (Domain) for Mother’s Day brunch — a group of six of us — and I really wanted to like it, but unfortunately the experience was disappointing. We had a reservation for 9:30 AM and were seated on time, which was a good start. We ordered the biscuits and deviled eggs to share, and those were honestly the best part of the meal — warm, flavorful, and well done. But once our main dishes came out, things went downhill. I ordered scrambled eggs with pork sausage, but got bacon instead. My sister had asked for chicken sausage and ended up getting pork. We had to flag down our server to get the orders fixed, but they were clearly understaffed or overwhelmed, because it took a while — and by the time my correct sausage came out, the rest of my food was cold. On top of that, the scrambled eggs were below average and had no seasoning at all — not even salt. There wasn’t any salt or pepper on the table either, and because the place was so busy, we couldn’t get our server’s attention to ask for any. So we just ate cold, bland eggs without seasoning. One of my friends got the wagyu hash skillet and said it wasn’t anything special either — kind of just average and forgettable. Overall, the food didn’t live up to expectations, especially for a special occasion like Mother’s Day. Service was polite but stretched too thin, and the kitchen mistakes really took away from the experience. I’d give Corinne’s 2 out of 5 stars — probably won’t be back for brunch.

My sister and I went for brunch. The cold press juices were so good and the portions of food were great for the price. We ended up sharing and both left full. Our server was Dee she was so kind. Thank you Dee for your amazing service!!

Google
Corinne at the Domain is a lovely place. It is definitely one of the best brunches we've had in the Domain! Service is prompt (Dee was great!). The homemade biscuits and butter are AMAZING. The chicken tinga was a little more on the sweet side than expected. You can park in the Westin parking lot, and they will validate it.

Service: The waitstaff is attentive and provides excellent hospitality, but service can be slow at times. Food: Overall well-prepared with tasty desserts, though the chicken was slightly dry. Ambiance: Stylish and inviting, making it a great spot for a relaxed meal.

Google
Love that there’s a Corinne at the domain now! Kenzie was a great waitress, informative, and kind. The truffled bucatini was definitely a hit at our table - it had the perfect amount of seasoning and not too saucy. Definitely be sure you get the fried bread + burrata. Those were all truly delicious. Wasn’t as big of a fan of the shrimp pasta, although the pasta itself was uniquely shaped which I like, it had more of a Mexican tasting base with the corn/peppers.

Yelp
It was my friend's turn to pick our restaurant for brunch, but it was hard for her to decide. So, I ended up recommending Corrine's at the Domain due to its ratings. I did not realize that it was in the Westin Hotel until I arrived. I understand from the front desk that Corrine had a soft opening in January 2025 and hard opening in February. So, we are getting in on the ground floor. They serve breakfast, brunch, lunch & dinner. Upon entry into the hotel you are met with an intoxicating fragrant aroma. The hotel and restaurant have sleek, clean lines...a modern, hip vibe. We made reservations for 11am and were very fortunate to be sat besides a panel of open windows. You could easily see the mall traffic on one side and full view of the restaurant on the other side. It is a fairly large restaurant with plenty of seating. There is also a bar in the entry adjacent to the restaurant. Parking is right opposite the hotel. The price listed was $8.00 for the first four hours. I was hoping that it would be discounted upon our exit. In fact, the front desk validated your parking, thus, parking was free, free, free! Given that Corinne is at the Domain, it can be diversion before or after some retail therapy. The restaurant was moderately priced, and most items were absolutely delicious. For a starter, we ordered the biscuits (3 count). You could also order (5 count). The biscuits were divine...buttery and perfect texture accompanied with butter and jam. I initially ordered the Tres leches French toast as I love Tres leches cake. It came out looking aesthetically pleasing...covered with raspberries and a dollop of whip cream with lemon shavings. However, upon taking my first bite, I noted that the French toast was not "Tres leches" like but extremely dry. The manager came over to ascertain how he could make my meal acceptable to me. I opted for an egg white frittata instead and it was extremely tasty and not your typical frittata. It was the size of a dinner plate....not elf portions to quote my friend. I definitely felt like I got my money's worth. My friend ordered the "Eggs My Way" with chicken sausage, fingerling breakfast potatoes, and English muffin. She loved her entire meal. Service was extremely well executed at Corinne. Dee, our server, was extremely attentive. She stopped by two times before my friend arrived. She also had the perfect amount of checking...not to frequent that it was impeding conversation but frequent enough that all our dining needs were met. We ordered coffee and it was delivered luke warm. She immediately went to get us steamy hot replacement coffees. Also, Ramon, a manager, diagnosed my dry French toast and was able to determine that a new employee had not appropriately soaked one half of the French toast. I do not think I have every had someone take that much care to keep customers informed...I was sufficiently impressed. When you open a new restaurant, sometimes you experience growing pains. While our dining experience was not without exception, the wait staff and management when over and beyond to make it right. The food quality was extremely high. We will definitely return to Corinne to try other menu items.

Yelp
We didn't realize Corinne was located inside the hotel at first so we were a bit confused trying to find it at first. We came around 9:30pm on a Friday night and were seated immediately. We tried the wagyu skewers, crab croquettes, and I ordered the salmon for my main entree. I expected the skewers to melt in my mouth, but they didn't, leaving me a little underwhelmed by them. The crab croquettes were yummy but also just resembled typical crab cakes. The salmon was cooked well, and I enjoyed the sauce that was on top of it. For drinks I had a glass of the prosecco as well as a cafe noir (aka their version of an espresso martini I believe). I really enjoyed the first taste of espresso when sipping the cafe noir, but I definitely tasted the alcohol after. However, the espresso definitely gave me a boost of energy which was needed at that hour so honestly a solid drink overall. Overall, given the fancy vibe of Corinne, I expected the food to be a little more impressive, however it's not to say the food was bad either. Service was great!

Yelp
I've been to the location downtown, and I was thrilled that another location opened closer to me. I didn't have a reservation but was seated in about 20-30 minutes. My server was really nice, albeit the service was really slow. I ordered the crab croquettes (excellent!!) and the frittata (just ok). The biggest issue I had with this place was how loud it was. I felt like I couldn't have a conversation inside. So maybe I'll go back during off-peak hours, but not in the middle of weekend brunch.

Yelp
Filet: simple presentation, cooked perfectly and the chimichurri was a lovely addition Bucatini: Al dente, great truffle flavor however a little on the salty side, not as balanced as I had hoped Indian flat bread: what a star, well done Bread pudding: this was lovely, I really appreciated the dark cocoa bitter notes in a traditionally super sweet dessert Nice staff, clean environment, plenty of seating

Yelp
Corinne recently opened in The Westin in the Domain, so I was excited to visit since I don't go to the location downtown often due to parking. High quality, flavorful American steakhouse fare with some fun snacks/appetizers and drinks. It's a pretty decent restaurant for being in a hotel! Less upscale than other steakhouses in the area, and they also offer weekend brunch and lunch options. Service was a bit relaxed, but they are still relatively new. The General Manager checked in on our table a couple of times and everything was fantastic overall. If you're in the area and wanting to grab a more lowkey steak or just some apps and drinks, this is a good option! QUICK FACTS: - Parking? Yes, in the Domain so plenty of parking at The Westin or around the Domain area. - Reservations? Yes, via OpenTable. Not required. FOOD RATINGS: - Navajo fry bread (5/5): Delicious! A flat dough bread that's fried. Served with a tasty hot honey-like butter spread that was super flavorful. - Deviled eggs (3/5): Tasted as expected but nothing to write home about. - Wagyu beef skewers (2/5): Disappointed in these. They were tiny, very chewy, and needed salt. Not worth ordering. You get 3 skewers. - Caesar salad (3/5): A solid salad, nothing special. I did enjoy the croutons! The dressing had a stronger anchovy flavor. - Filet mignon (5/5): Perfectly cooked (medium rare) and so tender, juicy, and flavorful! The chimichurri was great and the pommes puree were creamy. - Truffle bucatini (4/5): Pretty good pasta! Perfectly cooked and light truffle flavor. The sauce was creamy and delicious. You can add protein to it if you want.

Yelp
Lovely addition to the Domain! I have always heard great things about Corinne downtown and decided to take advantage when I happened to be in north Austin. Reservations were easy to make online. Dress code on the ressy says 'business casual'. Parking is tricky in this area during prime time, so I would give some extra time to walk over if you end up parking in a garage that is farther away. We were promptly seated and taken care of. They don't have a huge selection of cocktails and food, but if you order the right items you will be very pleased. For drinks, I'd recommend Strawberry & Me if you want something sweet and delicious. They also have good mocktails, such as the Universal Sound. Our favorite appetizer was the Navajo Fry Bread, which came with a delicious spread that paired so well with the salted bread - almost reminded me of a donut! And for entrees, the Spicy Shrimp Pasta is a must-get! It's rich in flavor and had us wanting more after each bite. We also enjoyed the Grilled Halibut. The other sides and salads were good filler items but the pasta was truly our favorite. Vibes were pristine and the food was great. We will definitely be back again!

Yelp
I really wanted to like Corinne at the domain location because I've been to the downtown location and really enjoyed my experience, but there were multiple mishaps during my visit today that made for not such an enjoyable experience. We were the only other table in the main dining hall at 5:30PM, and we still had to wait a pretty long time for our crab croquettes. They were fine. Not anything super special, but it came out hot and there was some nice acidity. Our waiter recommended the truffled bucatini and the filet mignon, and I've tried the truffled bucatini at the downtown location and really liked it. He said the chef recommended medium on the filet mignon, so my friend opted for medium. The truffled bucatini came out super underseasoned. I had to add red pepper flakes, and that was all I could taste at that point. The mashed potatoes under the filet mignon was quite delicious, but the actual filet mignon... medium should definitely not be the recommended sear. It was pretty tough and hard to chew, and my friend didn't eat many bites before he asked for a box as well. I will say that service is really fantastic. Our waiter was really attentive and came to check in on us multiple times, but the food itself was a letdown tonight.

Yelp
Excellent Easter Brunch. It is more than likely my father's last Easter. I was trying to find a place to have Easter brunch that had something special, but not a buffet. I saw Corinne on Open Table describing their offering for Easter. The restaurant is located in the Westin in the Domain. That was a plus for us, as there is a ton of parking in the area, and I thought getting my father in and out of the place would be easy. They had a basket of eggs at the front, and they gave everyone an egg. They were filled with Jelly Belly jellybeans. One of them had a prize, but we only got the jellybeans. Fine with us, we love jellybeans. The staff was helpful in getting my father to the table and sitting us at one of them by the front, so he didn't have to walk as far. They helped with his rollator. This put us at the opening of the kitchen, and my father enjoyed watching all the food come out. My husband and I had our backs to it, but could hear the frustration of the chief trying to keep up with the orders. It was interesting listening to the workings of the kitchen. They had fresh tulips on the table and they were the perfect touch. Then they had a couple of specials. My father got the Bacon Benedict. My husband and I got entrees off the regular menu: the Eggs Your Way and the Wagyu Skillet. Our food was all prepared well. They also had a special of $1 for a bottle of bubbles with their juice flight. The juice was fresh and fun to share a bottle of bubbles. We also got a bunny tray. I mean, we had to on Easter. It was adorable. Came with three desserts: lemon tart, cannoli, and a truffle. Each of us has one of each, no sharing here. The best part was our server, Tammy. She was very attentive and friendly. She made us feel special. Overall, one of the better Easter brunches we have had. I was tearing up on the way home, and I think I was happy; a small part of Dad's last Easter felt so special. The prices were extremely reasonable for an Easter brunch. I am beyond grateful we came to Corinne for Easter. We will be back.

Yelp
Need vegan choices not just vegetarian options I have to take apart and make sure it's fully plant based and not dairy or butter I can't take out .

Yelp
Like many I stayed at the Westin while here on business. Due to my schedule, I had several meals at the hotel restaurant. The star at Corinne at the Domain is Ethan, one of the bartenders. He usually works evenings but was also serving during brunch on Saturday morning. Knowledgeable, amusing and professional, he mixes the perfect Manhattan. He has great suggestions for pairing things on the menu. Michael the barista on weekdays was quick and detailed which is what we needed as we walked out the door in the morning. The menu at Corrine at Domain is limited but well prepared. Changes can be difficult which makes the limitations even more challenging. For example the "toppings" on the avocado toast are already mixed into the avocado. This was pretty typical of the dishes I tried to order. In addition to the menu limitations, the reason I haven't given Corrine at the Domain full stars is that I found the management very willing to talk down to their servers in public. A server who was trying to make my meal what I wanted. This is the same management that danced attendance on what appeared to be either one of their girlfriends or another employee who came to the bar the previous night. They obviously know her from somewhere. I'd definitely dine here again while on business.

Yelp
Great new brunch spot in Domain! Another Corinne, a favorite spot in Austin, inside the Westin. Who knew? The weekend brunch lets you fill up on some yummy food before you head out to shop the Domain. Perfect for a day with the girls. You gotta get that tres leches French toast, OMG. Oh and don't forget the biscuits, I dunno what's on top of them but they're one of the best in Austin. The wagu steak skillet is perfect for those steak and eggs folks, just the right size too. There were some good drinks and mocktail options along with a bunch of fresh pressed juices for you healthy types. All and all it's a cute restaurant with lots of bright windows. Looks like they're building a patio too which will be perfect when the weather warms up. Servers were super attentive. They'll validate your parking so don't forget to ask for that. I'll be back for more biscuits for sure.

Yelp
Great place. Food and cocktails were all perfect. Lovely service too. Nice for intimate or small groups.

Yelp
My husband insisted we do our part and write a Yelp review. He says doing so is a public service. "We must warn others!". In a nutshell, avoid this place at all costs! I sadly chose it for my birthday brunch and it was a terrible experience. I'll start with service. We waited 40 minutes for a $16 Bloody Mary. And over an hour for our food to arrive. Everyone was starving by the time it arrived. Most of us ordered a burger and it was awful. Mealy. Skip it and just go to shake shack for half the price across the street. In addition to overpriced, not good food, that took forever, so our server also added 20% gratuity twice to the bill so it was going to be a 40% tip (we were a table of 5). Luckily we noticed and said something. It was taken off our bill. Also they charge for parking unless you get your tkt validated. We did so and the parking machine would not read our ticket so we got stuck for 10 mins just in the parking lot. I called the help button but no one came. So I had to get out of my car and into the hotel to get help. Absolute waste of my afternoon and a pricy mistake for sure.

Yelp
My girlfriend and I went to the Corinne at the Domain and I had a great overall experience. Alisa was very attentive and knowledgeable throughout our dinner and provided outstanding service! She suggested the mocktails and those tasted great! The Tres Leches was also amazing! 10/10 experience, would go again without a doubt!

Yelp
We ate last night at Corrine, and it was a fantastic ambience and service. My husband and I were having a date night, and our server, Kenzie, treated us like we were at home. She was so comfortable with us and kind to us. She made our experience amazing. She knew the menu very well. We loved the Wagyu appetizers and the peanut butter pie for dessert. Their drinks are fantastic! Appreciate Kenzie and the staff at Corrine. Great date place!!
