the service is excellent in this oasis - the lighting is flattering and the A/C strong. my only complaint- please at the very least triple the amount of brie in the sandwich- if i'm paying $16 for a brie arugula sandwich, it would be nice to get more than a thin slice.

This is a small wine bar in the middle of Chelsea market. It is owned by a master sommelier and has a very decent selection of both American and European wines to choose from. This has become a must stop when I'm in Chelsea market to get away from the hassle and crowds.

This Corkbuzz location is smaller than the one near Union Square. We had a large group, so we ordered inside, brought our wine and charcuterie to the outdoor booths, and split up into three tables. If you go outside, they pour your wine in plastic cups. The outdoor seating has heat lamps, so we were warm enough in 45-degree weather.

Stopped in for drinks at the bar. Drinks are great. Amazing mixologist made me a perfect Cosmo. The place has amazing food but maybe poor ventilation for cooking? My hair n my clothes were smelling like the food! I went a while ago for a great wine course. Very informative.

Nice respite from all of the bustle just outside. Wine list clearly has some thought behind it and offers solid variety if you're feeling adventurous. Staff is helpful/knowledgeable and seem more than happy to geek out with you if you express interest beyond what color you like to drink. I like that they offer blind tasting, even if it is a little spendy for what you get. The sheet that accompanies the wines is a bit intimidating but will force you think (and second-guess yourself) about what you're imbibing. Did not try the food but did sneak a few peeks over at others' tables during my last visit and it looked (and smelled) appealing. Maybe next time

Fantastic place to go with friend for a glass of wine, very soothing and relaxed atmosphere. My friend and I had a glass of champagne and a side of fries with Parmesan that we hoped were endless. Phenomenal staff, wonderful place to do and chat if you're in Chelsea Market, makes you forget the chaos that can be immediately outside of it.

Pretty fun experience here, but very overpriced for service and amount of alcohol and food you get. I love that you are given a sheet to fill out for the wine tasting to guess, but the prices are outrageous. We were going to order the cheese board, but thankfully we did not because we saw someone else's and it was so tiny! $39 for a cheese plate that would feed 1 person! We got the parmesan fries which were great, but once again $10 for a tiny cup. The ambiance is romantic, and fancy right in Chelsea Market, but go elsewhere for cheaper better food and drinks.

The service here is awful. Was given a charcuterie board as a pick up order and it contains three pieces of cheese maybe 10 nuts in a little bit of honey and the bread was also stale. After calling and asking for a refund, Adrienne, who served me the board, said they are not in the business providing party size platters, but if I were to order this at the restaurant I would have turned it back. She was incredibly rude and called me names and I will definitely not be coming back and I do not recommend anyone come here.

So much fun! Grab a seat in the roped off area, right outside the bar, order the blind tasting flight and argue with your bestie, W or H whether it's a Rioja, Gamay or just getting you tipsy. The experience can be as intense or silly as you like. A great way to spend a rainy day indoors.

I went here for happy hour which is from 5-7. The menu says "enjoy a glass of a sommelier selected wine" for happy hour. They had one red and one white option. I chose the red and there's no way a sommelier would have chosen this. It tasted like barefoot juice, which is not what I topically buy at the grocery store or go for at a wine bar.

I love wine! It gets better with age. Writing this up because two days ago it was national wine day! Decided to hop in for a mid-day drink release! Compiling words on the spot that sounds like a poem and music to my ears, is hard to come by and creative to do just that! Anything said in French of the description on the wines is a plus in my books! The sipping of the wine while the sommelier says the words, is on point with what seems like the wine expression, is coming out! Sommelier selected the wines according to your preference! Good wine bar!

When this place first opened, it was jammed packed. I'm glad the buzz died down (See what I did there?) and now I'm able to walk in and grab a table. I did noticed the bar at 5pm was packed solid. The space itself isn't too large but what they've done with it is beautiful and contemporary. They also offer "outdoor seating", there are a few tables outside of the space which was interesting. Tonight I have tickets to see Kinky Boots (thanks Yelp!) so I want to drink a nice glass of wine and have a few small plates before the show. I knew Corkbuzz in Chelsea Market would be my go to spot for dinner. This place is co founded by sommelier Laura Maniec and from what I've been reading, there are some great wine flight selections. My first time here, I going to choose the flight of the day which is three wines of their choosing. I was happy with my selection, my one white and two reds was a nice touch. The small plates, wowza! I started with homemade ricotta with crostini. The ricotta had a generous splash of olive oil and was presented in a small mason jar, very fresh and tasty. The star of the night was the Cotechino Sausage Sandwich. Mmm mm! The sausage was amazing. This isn't a store bought brand of sausage but crafted and cured sausage meat put on a roll and served to me. With little pickles no less! I was very impressed with the wines to the small plate offerings. If you're in Chelsea Market and would like to have a glass of wine and small places, consider Corkbuzz Chelsea Market.

Came here on a Saturday night for food and drinks with a friend. There was no wait, and we were seated immediately at the bar. Being that it was our first time there, the server was nice enough to lay out all the options and go through how people order from here. We ordered the tomato & burrata - AN ABSOLUTE MUST! It was a nice soft cheese full of flavor and paired really nicely with the heirloom tomatoes and balsamic vinaigrette. We also tried the Italian Affair cheese and meat platter. I was not as into that but it was a standard cheese and meat plate with all the essentials. Additionally, the meal came with nicely crisp bread and an assortment of spicy mustard, and tomato jam paste. We also tried a flight of wine that contained fruity flavors from France, Spain, and California. We got 2 white wines and one red. It was nice to get flights and receive generous amounts!! Overall, this is a nice place to come and grab a nice bite. Would definitely come back for the burrata and a glass of wine!

Nice little place in Chelsea market, a-little Over priced for the quality of the wines but its CHELSEA MARKET. Would recommend the Black Rose cocktail. The inside is very small But the glass rack was very cool, loved the way the lights were angled into the stemware.

Went to Corkbuzz Chelsea Market for happy hour on Friday. A fun happy hour, a good selection of wine, but was not impressed with the food options. Quality: With our original plans derailed we ended up at Corkbuzz in Chelsea Market. The small shop has a large wine selection and decent prices during happy hour. We also had some snacks, none of which I was crazy about. The Burrata & Tomatoes was probably the best with a rich and creamy cheese and fresh tomatoes. However, the tiny size left it as only a few bites. Our other dishes were the Beef Tartare, which was lacking in flavor, and the Crostini Trio, which was very basic and light on the actual toppings. Quantity: Small dishes that work as just a snack with your wine. Value: $8 for happy hour wine selections. $15 for the Beef Tartare. $13 for the Crostini Trio. $15 for the Burrata & Tomatoes. Ambiance: Corkbuzz is located in Chelsea Market in Manhattan. The shop seemed like the perfect size for the crowd. They have a few tables in the market hallway, some seats around the bar, and then a few more towards the back of the bar. It has an upscale look, but it is a fairly casual. The music was upbeat pop, which felt appropriate for Friday evening. Crowd: A small crowd, but it cleared out significantly as happy hour was winding down. Service: Excellent bartender who made sure we were aware of the specials and kept our glasses filled. Parking: No convenient parking options nearby.

Baby wine enthusiast here, trying to experience the world of wine. This place is a perfect place just to sip and talk. Pro - great wine flights. Good proportion and affordable price - extensive wine list - the wine sommeliers are all so knowledgable. Learned a lot, starting from the history, geography and the taste notes - not that crowded. Can actually hear my friend talk - their food is surprisingly great! Ended up munching on couple of things while we were there Con - closes pretty early (10pm) - place is small as its located in Chelsea market

I am a huge fan and somewhat of a regular of the Union Square location. Sadly, my beloved location was closed for a week and I was in the mood to go to a wine bar I knew I could rely on, so I gave the Chelsea Market location a try. It's a bit smaller than the Union Square location but also less crowded, which is a rarity in the packed and loud Chelsea Market. The wine list at this location is just as wonder as the one in Union Square. They have a very diverse and ever changing list of wines, and their by the glass list is fairly extensive and filled with more than just your typical crowd pleasers. Exactly as expected from a bar owned by a MS. Service is wonderful and definitely up to the Corkbuzz standard. And this location has popcorn! I had the honey and sea salt popcorn and it was delicious. If you love the Union Square location, this one is worth trying too! Don't let Chelsea Market scare you off. The wine will be worth the trouble.

Loved this little place - service was a little slow, but servers were still friendly - that was the only complaint. We stopped by for champagne and popcorn. We enjoyed a nice bottle & the rosemary parmesan popcorn. WOW - didn't know popcorn could be taken to that level. Loved the vibe & would come back in a snap.

Awesome location nuzzled in the heart of Chelsea Market. Fantastic views, people watching and nice place to cool out before or after exploring the market. What a fun experience, for a mid-afternoon snack on a hot Summer afternoon! The bartender is friendly and knowledgeable it hit the spot! The crostini trio with the rose flight pair nicely!

Really cute place inside Chelsea market! Went in for the happy hour blind tasting that is $15 for a tasting of 3 different wines. They give you a fun sheet so you can try to guess what wine it is. Great snacks to try too! Eggplant hummus was tasty and light.

Loved it here!!! Like Corkbuzz Union Square, the wine list by the glass is fabulous - though by the bottle the list is "smaller", there is still a lot to choose from!!! Small plates are the name of the game and there are definitely some awesome ones to choose from. We'll definitely have to come back to try the ones we missed. But definitely do NOT miss the cotechino sandwich - sooooo delicious! The delicato squash with pecorino and hazelnuts, anchovies with salsa verde and veal tartare were equally as amazing. The calamari really stood out, I cannot remember the last time I've had squid like that where it just melts in your mouth. Not sure which wine to pair with your yummy food selection? They are more than happy to recommend a fabulous wine! Before I came here, I didnt know what Albarino was - its now one of my favorite white wines! The staff is absolutely fabulous - Laura (the owner) will pick the perfect wine for your food selections, Amy and Joan are outstanding as well! You have to come try it here! I know we'll be back and really soon!!!

On a cold frost winter day, my husband and I stumbled Upon the Chelsea Market. At first we thought, indoors (plus), warm (plus), food (plus), dessert (plus)...then we discovered this Cozy little wine bar in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the Chelsea Market,.....now we found Wine (PLUS) My husband and I enjoyed a wine flight and the Chef's Selection Flight Cheese Plate and some yummy the "savory" (rosemary and parmesan) popcorn. It was just perfection and just what we needed! Romantic and Fun - great combination.

My wife was craving a glass of wine, so we stopped into Corkbuzz during happy hour. The pricing was pretty good ($8 for a glass of wine, and $4 for a can of craft beer), but the service was terrible. Our waiter gave the impression that he would have rather been absolutely anywhere else other than there. With trendy decor and good-quality beverages, this could be a great little spot -- but not until the waitstaff learns to at least pretend that they enjoy their jobs.

Corkbuzz is an awesome name. We stopped at this place, looking for a wine stop in the Chelsea Market. Our server was very knowledgeable in regards to all of the types of wines on the menu. We also order the meat and cheese platter which was excellent. Overall the experience was awesome. Make sure you seat outside, and just watch the people watching you. Makes you feel like some sort of B list celebrity. Get your buzz on and keep yelping.

Corkbuzz offers a great retreat from the hustle and bustle of the Chelsea Market. I was looking for a quick bite before going to the Whitney and this place nailed those needs. I ordered the Tres Leches which is three pre selected cheeses and also the sommelier flight. The cheese was tasty but needed more bread and the sommelier nailed it with the three choices. Pricing worked out pretty well and I highly recommend the Flights if you can. The one regret is that I didn't realize you can get a free popcorn if you check in, so don't forget to check in!!! This is a great place to sit down and enjoy a bite and a glass of wine. I'll definitely be coming back again!

I was visiting Chelsea Market for the first time and happened upon Corkbuzz. I am so glad I did! Our server, Greg, was delightful, and checked on us several times, as well as other servers. My boyfriend and I each ordered our own wine flight: I had the Big and Bold red fligjht and he had the Savory Reds. We really enjoyed the Blaufränkisch, Rosi Schuster '15, from Burgenland, Austria. I ordered the rosemary and Parmesan popcorn as a snack to go with our wine which was the perfect combo. My boyfriend ordered the Berkshire Meatballs for dinner and I had kale Caesar salad. Everything was delicious and not too pricey for what you're getting. I am excited to try their other locations.

This is probably my favorite stop along the walk in Chelsea Market. Small bites and pretty decent wine list. Pesto Buratta is amazing!

I went during their happy hour where the glasses of wine were $8 a piece for a half pour. The Rosè was good but I didn't like the red wine too much. The popcorn we ordered as a side was also good- covered in a sweet butter which I really enjoyed! The service was slow but that could be due to the fact that there was only one person working the whole bar area. I would maybe go back but there are definitely more options in the area.

Execellent service and excellent food & bev!! We sat at the bar and ordered drinks - I can't remember the names! Ordered our food, which was delivered quickly. Ended up ordering "to-go" drinks for us to sip on as we shopped and walked through the rest of Chelsea Market! 10/10. Would recommend stopping by.

Walked in the guy that sat us was "indifferent" no hello which bothers me to tell the truth. Then they gave us water I said thank you he says nothing. They gave me food I said thank you I was told nothing. Not a fan of rudness or indifferentness when Im payimg for service

I just never understand why wine bars and the people that work there are always so pretentious. This one was no different.

My BFF and I met with a couple of her friends at Chelsea Market and came here to hang out and take a break from the very busy crowd. It's a cute albeit small spot. With Yelp check-in, you received a tasting of sparkling wine. We all opted for the Chenin Blanc Blend, Domaine de la Bergerie Brut NV, Cremant de Loire; which was delicious! Housemade Potato Chips ($6): Fennel, chili, and sea salt. This was really great! I love fresh herbed potato chips and this was no exception. The flavor from the fennel was extraordinary. Brussels Sprouts ($8): Coriander, cumin, and chili; served with herbed yogurt sauce. The Brussels sprouts were well done with a nice crispy exterior, but didn't stand out much. Gnocco Fritto ($4): Crispy dough sprinkled with Parmesan. Nothing bad about fried dough, but this didn't scream "amazing" to me. If you're in Chelsea Market and need a break, this is a great place to do that. It is busy like the rest of the building, but once you get a seat, you can be in your own world and recuperate. Although, if I wasn't in the market, I wouldn't go out of my way to come here.

Of course the location is great. Chelsea Market is a pleasant place. But the service in this bar sucks, though. And kind of pricey (even i if I am not really surprised) Staff does not really take care of you...Example, we ordered the crostini which never came after 15 minutes so we asked for an update, which they brought 6 plain slices of bread with no tapenade. Upon asking again if something was missing, the waiter said there was a confusion. Really? After pointing directly the menu. They know they will always have customers (meaning tourists) so they don't care. Very disappointed

I originally came to try the cotechino sandwich and was disappointed to hear it was not available that night. Nevertheless my boyfriend and I ordered a bottle of a french Merlot and the grilled cheese sandwich with prosciutto. Their wine selection is huge with selections from many different regions in the world. What's great though is that there are many affordable choices mixed in there as well. The funny thing was before we decided on a bottle, I was eying the same wine for the glass selection. I didn't even realize until the waitress said it's a good choice and one of the choices that they also offer by the glass! I was subconsciously lured to that Merlot. As I was disappointed at not being able to try their cotechino sandwich, I wasn't expecting anything special. However, once I took a bite out of that grilled cheese, ate a bite of the accompanying salad and took a sip of my wine, IT WAS A MATCH MADE IN HEAVEN! Please order the same and follow my steps and you'll be pleasantly surprised by this marriage :) P.S. I came on a Tuesday night and enjoyed that the place wasn't crowded and was able to enjoy a relaxing intimate time at this cozy wine bar

This place was amazing for a wine tasting! Three reds, three whites from all parts of the country. Our wine expert was both entertaining and knowledgeable. She had us actively participate in the tasting experience by guessing the regions, tastes, smells, etc. which made it that much more enjoyable. Will definitely be going back!

Cute and cozy but very small- probably only room for less than $30. They had a summer special which was rose for $8 - it was Ok wine but a good value for the price. We also had the honey and sea salt popcorn which was very good!! I'd recommend this place if you are stopping in Chelsea market for a quick drink. The service was OK but could have been faster.

Came here afterwork for the Blind tasting class led by Max and left with a Bar i've added to my weekly after work rotation. The staff is world class. Bradly, Isaiah were top notch bartenders, super attentive, super knowledgeable. We peppered them with questions, as my guest and I tried to use our newfound knowledge, and we never felt like we were a bother to them. Again, my guest and I were there for a while, soaking up any knowledge that the Monday night team would share. Cristina, helped me pick out a Rioja that was exactly to my palette and Max explained how the fancy coravin gadget works. My guest came to corkbuzz exclaiming that she "doesn't like chardonnay" and left with a new found appreciation of white burgundy's. We can't wait to come back. A++ experience from an awesome staff.

The service is so bad. My friends and I walked in and the server saw us but did not acknowledge us. Understandably he was helping someone, but after he finished he went on to help another person. The least you can do is acknowledge us... In the end we had to wait for someone else to come from the back to seat us. Aside from that, the wine flights are a good deal ($18-$20ish) and there are multiple curated flights. Probs would come back if I'm feeling patient.

Such a great little place to stop in for a quick glass of wine and snack with in the Chelsea Market! We sat at the bar and the service was awesome! Went with flights of wine and was impressed with the pours and they fact they leave the bottles so you can check out the labels! And OMG...the Parmesan and Rosemary popcorn was to die for!

Great place to meet up for a few glasses of wine. The wine selection is really good, lots of different options by the glass or bottle.I prefer the albariño wines, good choice. I didn't quite like the food/small plates menu. There wasn't anything that really called my attention. Ended up ordering a cheese platter, by process of elimination. I hope they put some more hearty small plates on the menu.

After hearing great things about Corkbuzz Chelsea, I finally made it in for dinner. We sat at one of the back tables and were all blown away by the food & wine, the service, and ambience. Jeremy and Shoshanna took care of us and gave great recommendations along the way. For me, the highlight of the experience was the food. It was incredible and just at a level that you can't find at other wine bars. Everything we had was tremendous but my favorites were the Gougeres, Panzarotti, Delicata Squash, Brussels if you can handle some spice, and the Cotechino Sausage Sandwich. I'm going to have to make it back for lunch just to have that sandwich again. And lastly, make sure not to pass on the eclairs for dessert. This place is a gem and an incredible addition to Chelsea Market.

This was a fun place. Came on a Friday night with an Amazon Local deal, and like true cheapskate also had a free glass of bubbly compliments of the Yelp check in deal. Bought and extra round though at the end like normal folks. The service was great, friendly and attentive even though we were "on special" for most of our food and drinks. Wasn't really impressed by the wine flights but the individual glasses we got were good. The Food: Citrus Cured Salmon - light citrus flavor and accompanied by guacamole and radishes. A very nice light summery dish. Grilled Octopus - the octopus itself was tasty, the chimichurri was a nice touch. But the sauce/etc. was a little bit fishy which was strange. Grilled Cheese - served on thick and buttery Texas style toast. This was more than what I had expected and delicious if you're in the mood. Southern Fried Chicken - this was so so... The chicken was hot and good but the batter was a bit thick. Cole slaw was standard fare but the corn was a bit chewy. Strawberry Shortcake - this was a nice finish. Overall a fun place to stop at. Not cheap so the price could sneak up on you, but 4 small plates between 2 people was enough to qualify as dinner. The atmosphere was class but hip, nice and casual. Located in the heart of Chelsea market. I want to emphasize again that the service was great, everyone we dealt with was fun to chat with and took good care of us, even though we were on a deal. Would love to come back for drinks and snacks another time.
