Google
I know I am not part of the norm for this place, but we had a very bad experience here. The drinks were super watered down or no flavors. The staff was more about the game on the big screen then service. But the thing that killed the evening was the food. So bland no flavors at all. I am not Italian but their was that food. Such a popular place but for us it was not a good evening.

In comparison to Bella Napoli's it's definitely the less authentic experience. The food was good but not great. I didn't like the large slice of cheese on the bruschetta, it was quite difficult to add the tomatoes but was in fact delicious. I ordered the Chicken Parmesan (my favorite Italian dish) and the crust them use on the chicken is much thicker than Bella's and had a great deal more taste of oil. Their sauce is delicious though. For dessert I ordered my favorite, tiramisu, and took one bite and spit it out. It was entirely too drenched/wet for my taste and extremely mushy. Overall, not horrible but maybe a step above Olive Garden. Bella's feels and tastes to me to be more authentic.

Came here after an awful service experience across town and couldn’t have been happier! The server Sid was an entertaining and helpful server. The food was delicious, came quickly and was reasonably priced. The place itself has an old school Italian restaurant charm to it. Simple, classic decor match with the convenient location near the water. Was so hungry when we arrived and they made me a whole person again and were pleasant to talk to in the process.

My family & I are on vacation in Savannah. We passed this restaurant on the way to our hotel. We got it. We tried it. Let’s rate it 1-10. Customer Service: 10/10 - There was a 30 minute wait on tables so we decided to sit at the bar. Chris was great! Drinks: 10/10 - Chris recommended the Moscato & it was delicious. So smooth & sweet. We also got the Jolly Rancher & it definitely lived up to its name. Food: 8/10 - The garlic cheese bread was soooo good. We ordered a 2nd plate. We also ordered the spaghetti with pink sauce, fettuccine alfredo & chicken piccata. The spaghetti & alfredo were a 7/10. Everything was so fresh & the portion sizes are very healthy though. Overall: 9/10

Google
If there's one thing to recommend, it's for sure the chocolate cake once you finish your meal (all of which are delicious). All of the dishes taste decadent and fresh. Even though the restaurant was packed--every table filled--our server (Summer) made sure that we were receiving quality attention and service. The food took a long time but was definitely worth it. One thing to note is that it is a SUPER loud atmosphere, making table conversation a bit difficult. I would be back many times if I was from the area!

Google
Called in pickup, arrived a few minutes later and they only got half the order. filled in the rest and waited. spaghetti and meatballs, a side order of italian sausage and cannolis. ~$40 after tip = 2 mediocre but apparently homemade meatballs. some level of also mediocre tomato sauce. 3 sausage that had good flavor yet cut through like butter, for $7 a good value. the cannoli was on the menu as $9 for 2 but you only get one, and it'll be empty in the middle, it tasted great but not worth $9 for one. for the price it's a disappointment.

Google
Soo...I gave two stars because I ordered pick-up so maybe the food is better eating in? That being said, I have no idea how this place has good reviews. I ordered the caprese salad and got 4 small slices of tomato and 4 1/2 inch chunks of cheese... so $12 for half of a roma tomato and one piece of tough mozzarella cheese cut up. I laughed when I opened the box because I thought it was a joke. The lasagna was burnt and old tasting as well. Like it had been sitting under a heat lamp for hours and the beef in it looks like the cut up a frozen beef patty. The tomato bisque was good though. But I mean..that kinda hard to mess up. Overall just really disappointed. Definitely not worth the money.

Google
The chicken piccata was rustic and bold.....just the way I like it! The spinach, feta, caper and olive salad with blueberry vinaigrette was the perfect accompaniment. This place fills up quickly so come early. Great customer service here as well.

Yelp
Stopped in on a pass through 1 night stay. Really enjoyed the fried asparagus and mozzarella apps. The bread although in breadstick form (makes me think of Olive Garden) it didn't taste bad. A nice artisan bread would have been awesome but it didn't taste bad. Entrees I had eggplant parm and it was good. My wife had penne vodka and it was a little watery and the flavor was a little off. Wasn't bad but wasn't proper. Crème brûlée came out still half frozen. They took it off the bill. Waitress was awesome and ambiance was old school Italian place. Would come back. I really wanted to give them 5 stars but just a little held it back. Let's see next time. I recommend you try them. Prices were a bargain as well.

Yelp
Be aware of the so-called 9x13" "tray" they claim feeds 10 people. The portions are laughable. We paid $400 for a 9x13" Caesar salad, a 9x13" vegetable lasagna, a 9x13" chicken parmesan, a few breadsticks, and 2 gallons of iced tea. Four hundred dollars for that. Never again!
google avatar

Suvid K.

Yelp
I wanted to like this place. The tables are very close together, the chairs are small, the tables are smaller -- fine. The bruschetta tasted like pre-sliced mozzarella and pre-diced tomatoes straight from a grocery store. The fried green tomatoes were mediocre at best. I personally would not recommend any of their mixed drinks. The service was fine -- nothing special. I think this place is fine, just not what you'd expect.
google avatar

Yelp
Made reservations for dinner last night at this local spot and got seated right away -- promising start! We ordered two glasses of wine along with the baked ziti and lasagna. The garlic breadsticks arrived first, which I'd describe as the Olive Garden's shy little sister -- polite, but not bringing much to the party. Unfortunately, the food followed suit. The lasagna's center was cold (never a good sign), and the baked ziti was, well... ziti that happened to exist. The meat sauce had decent flavor, but overall the meal was more "meh" than memorable.

Yelp
Service was great -- our waitress was kind, attentive, and clearly working hard on a busy night. Unfortunately, the food was very disappointing. We love Italian cuisine and were so excited to give this place a try, but it just didn't meet expectations. The table bread tasted as if it had been microwaved and was barely warm. We ordered the cheesy bread as an appetizer, which was decent but still lacked seasoning. My husband had the lasagna and I ordered the chicken alfredo -- both dishes were bland and lacked flavor. He kept adding salt to his lasagna, and I had to do the same with my alfredo sauce. Sadly, neither of us finished our meals. We had high hopes but left feeling let down. Great service, but the food just missed the mark.

Yelp
I was really surprised at how tasteless the food was. There were four of us and we all ordered something different. The best was the mac n cheese. Ordered the appetizer of capresse salad. It was 4 tiny pieces of tomato with a thin slice of cheese and a piece of basil...not impressed. So overall an experience I will not want to repeat. Service was great

Yelp
Went two nights in a row. Atmosphere is great. Very friendly bar staff! Food was pretty good. Spaghetti and meat sauce could use a bit more seasonings. Lasagna was really tasty, Baked Ziti was yummy and Chicken Parm was also good. Cheesecake and ice cream were delish. Very close to hotel and prices aren't bad at all.

Yelp
We went to Carleon's Trattoria as part of a family vacation to Savannah, GA. It has limited vegetarian options (I think three items when I went). 1. It took a while to get seated even though restaurant was less than 1/2 full and we got there more than an hour before closing. I was about to suggest going elsewhere when the host finally sat us. 2. Service was far from great - waitress was rude. 3. Food was not good. The lasagna could've been good if it had not been burned at the top. The fettuccine Alfredo came out soupy and we didn't finish it. 4. Restaurant was too loud. One table with four people filled the place with loud conversation. Plus one of the waitresses seemed to stay talking just with them rather than also serving her other tables. Would give 2.5 stars.

Yelp
Corleone's is our absolute favorite whenever we're in Savannah. The chicken parm is consistently delicious with generous portions -- I always have leftovers to take home. The space has a charming, intimate vibe that reminds me of those classic Italian neighborhoods. Service is friendly and warm, though it can slow down a bit when they get busy. Still, that doesn't stop us from coming back every time we're in town.
google avatar

Yelp
I've been wanting to try Corleone's for a few years since I first came to Savannah. Finally, tonight I had my chance. Our server was so sweet and attentive to our needs. We were seated at the top of the ramp into the main dining area so a bit like sitting in the walkway, but we made do. When the bread sticks came I thought "wow" no fresh baked bread? We discovered after a taste that the oil on the table must have been rancid because it didn't taste right - we tried the bread without the oil and it was ok on its own. I ordered lasagna with meat sauce and my sister the muscles in a garlic broth. Both were good. All in all it was just average, nothing really special. The prices are very reasonable. Because the bread wasn't great we opted to not order dessert.

Yelp
Food was amazing, excellent, our server Amara was so cute and nice. She was always making sure we were taking care of. I would recommend this place!!
google avatar

Karen F.

Yelp
Very busy place! Our group of four ordered diverse meals and everyone enjoyed them. However, my meal of a Marguerite flatbread pizza had to be redone because onions were placed in it even though I specified I was allergic to them. The waiter did apologize. One other diner was not told there was an upcharge for getting chicken in her Alfredo "special." That was disconcerting. The decor was heavily Italian/Mediterranean and so was the music. An enjoyable time but communication could be improved.

Lisa R.

Yelp
Had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. From the moment we sat down to receiving our appetizers, starters, and entrees...they all arrived in 20minutes. We didn't have time to enjoy our appetizers. The food overall was bland and sub-par. The meat sauce is not flavorful and the chicken was rubbery...gross! We love returning to Savannah and Corleone's used to be a favorite of ours! This place has changed for the worse. Very disappointed. Won't return ever again.

Yelp
I have a Yelp review code, where I only give a place a 1 star if the food is inedible or the service renders the food inedible (leaving because service is so slow or bad). Maaaaaaan, Corelone's came close to being a 1. Pros: - Free Bread. Just this. Cons: - Marinara sauce was so sweet. Way too much sugar. I'm talking so much sugar that I had to smack my gums together to get the taste out of my mouth. - Chicken parm was hockey pucks. Really small chickens. - Cheese tasted very elastic like. - Fried cheese was only 75% breaded. - I had a reservation at 6:00 PM and was sat in a busy hallway in a really small table. One of my big restaurant pet peeves is having a reservation a month in advance and getting stuck with one of the worst tables. Yeah not a lot going on here. This place stays impressively busy and that's a head-scratcher to me. My wife had Tortellini and she said it tasted frozen. My chicken on my chicken parm tasted fine, it's just the sauce was a killer. That is hands down the sweetest marinara I've ever had in my life. Off-puttingly sweet. I'm a person that cleans their plate and I couldn't finish the pasta. Would I recommend this place? Abosolutely not. Again, I don't hand out 1's, but for me and edible food a 2 is basically a 1 in my book. You can do much, much better in the city.

Yelp
My daughter was craving Italian and so We picked this restaurant after reading some of the reviews. Although some were not favorable, my daughter talked me into giving it a chance. It did not disappoint. The restaurant fits well with the area as it has a nostalgic feel to it. The server was attentive and friendly. The food was very good, but FYI the portions are pretty big. We could have had easily shared. We ended up boxing up half of it. Priced reasonably. Our pasta dishes were all very tasty. My husband had the build your own flat bread and he was also pleased.

Yelp
We got in quick bc we made reservations and the host was very kind. Our waitress is / was Maggie and she is lovely, great attitude, very attentive and it was a busy night! She deserves a raise! We loved the inside of this place and looking and how delicious our food was. It is loud bc it's a family restaurant so it's expected so we tolerate it and plus its marathon weekend so I'm sure this is why. My sister ordered the lasagna and she loved it!! Just the perfect size plate. I ordered the Cannelloni and it was so good!! Highly recommend making a reservation
google avatar

James T.

Yelp
Not much to look at from the outside. Inside they're serving up some pretty tasty traditional Italian dishes. I got the baked ziti with a side house salad for lunch and it ran me about $20. The ziti was good, I would get it again. Service was stellar, we were in and out in under 30 minutes for lunch. Would go again and try the lasagna next time!

Yelp
First I have to say moving to Georgia from Ny, you have to be conscious that there is no comparing the foods. It's just not the same and you have to come with an open mind. With that said, the ambience is nice for couples, groups etc. The place was lively on a Thursday evening so I was hopeful and excited to try some authentic Italian food.( with a name like CORLEONE), I was presumptuous. Our waitress was nice and pleasant and actually memorized not only our order but the other tables she was waiting on as well. We were amazed. The service was slow but we had nowhere to go . I ordered calamari which was surprisingly good . Tender and not chewy which again gave me hope for my entree. My husband ordered a spanakopita which we were hoping would have came with the calamari but‍. That took forever and was not great and seemed frozen from a box/ maybe outsourced. It's a Greek dish so not expecting much from an Italian spot. I and my dad ordered a lasagna and my husband the veil Parmesan. The marinara sauce with the calamari wasn't bad so I was thinking our food shouldn't be too bad. Our lasagnas were lacking flavor and my dads was burnt, you can tell they were put under the broiler. My husbands veal Parmesan was so dry it got stuck in his chest (no lie). When we arrived home the WHITE THRONE was his best friend. Unfortunately we won't be back but we will be next door at lulu's bakery where you can never go wrong.
google avatar

Hannah B.

Yelp
The food was actually so bad & the sauce was definitely from a can. Chicken was basically rubber. Balsamic/ oil/ seasonings on table were crusted, they clearly hadn't been cleaned in several days. Walking in smelt rancid, should've left then.
google avatar

Matina S.

Yelp
Good service - the food was good but not so good where you can't get enough. The bread sticks are little and dry- the bruschetta was served with Italian dressing on the side because they ran out of balsamic glaze- and the large dinner size of manicotti is two rolled- the small is one roll- felt the portion was small. However... the good points were it was fast- and the flavors were good and selections were good. Decor was cute- a little dark-for my liking. And I would recommend brightening up with some white or red tablecloths and playing some Dean Martin or Frank Senatrs songs- but overall good.
google avatar

Tara P.

Yelp
Was able to snag a seat at the bar on a Friday night. Bartenders were both super friendly and made great recommendations. Started off with the bread and then moved to ravioli. Not pictured was a glass of conundrum and espresso martinis. Eveything was fabulous!
google avatar

Erik S.

Yelp
Last night was my first time here. It was definitely busy but I got a seat right away at the bar. The Ambiance was nice, just busy. The food was good (baked pasta with meat balls). It felt like they could use a second bartender but the guy who was there did a great job. I'll be back.
google avatar

Meghan L.

Yelp
We came here for dinner and had: - Aperol spritz (great--heavy on the Aperol, as it should be!) - The Don cocktail (average) - Bruschetta appetizer (good) - Caprese appetizer (good) - Creamy Tuscan salmon entree (good) - Fettuccini carbonara (good) - Dessert platter (the cheesecake and cannoli were good, but the tiramisu tasted spoiled)
google avatar

Niki S.

Yelp
We've not given Corleone's a try yet, so tonight we did. First our server was so sweet. If not for the awful food, this would have been a great night out. But I'm going to be honest here. This is where Italian food comes to die. It's dark, depressing and then to serve food that tastes that level of bad was just insulting. Over cooked pasta, no flavor in anything, plastic in the soup, frozen bread sticks means we just spent over $150 for Fazolis level food. I'm only giving it 2 stars because the server was so attentive. Everything felt sticky and outdated. So much wasted potential in this place. Save yourself the money. Go to Walmart and get a frozen lasagna and thank me later.
google avatar

Dennis P.

Yelp
Not a lot of choices for Italian food in Savannah but this place is top notch. Our waitress was very nice and friendly, knowledgeable about the city and recommendations about things to do. Was able to take our unfinished bottle of wine with us to finish later!!
google avatar

Michael C.

Yelp
Service was good, walked in and sat at the bar. Ordered an espresso martini and an a version of an old-fashioned called the Don. Meh, don't even finish it. Ordered calamari appetizer and Spaghetti and meatballs. Both came out hot and nicely presented. Calamari rings were flavorless and the marinara was lacking flavor or depth. The spaghetti and meatballs was enjoyable. Some people may think the sauce is a bit too sweet, but I enjoy sweet sauce. Hear is a real kick in the dick. Bill came paid. It took a picture cause I always do just to make sure my credit card isn't overcharged or a tip changed, but I paid cash. This time. We were a party of two we sat at the bar and they hit us with the 20% gratuity for parties of six or more, shady place stay away.
google avatar

Michael A.

Yelp
Old school. Friendly as your ol flannel shirt. Delicious American Italian dishes with the staff who is beyond family like. Everything is yummmy. Remember this IS NOT MARIO BATTALII's this is Mom & Pop red sauce. Make a note! Chix parm, meatballs, all yummy. Again! Not trendy Italian. The food your Nonna made!

Christy L.

Yelp
Sadly we did not even get to eat. We made a reservation weeks in advance for four - one of the four included a baby. We stated that he would be in his stroller. We timed it so he would be asleep and we could enjoy dinner The hostess proceeded to tell us we couldn't use the stroller and because we didn't say he needed a high chair she saved us a table where we had to hold the kiddo the entire time. We tried it but all my kiddo wanted was to lay in his stroller and sleep. The hostess also came to our table to tell us why it was our fault. Meanwhile she seated a party of two then made them move so she could sit a big party, We left and don't recommend.
google avatar

Kathy E.

Yelp
We were visiting Savannah and passed by this place and decided to have dinner here. The place is nicely decorated and the wait staff were very friendly attentive. I ordered eggplant Parmesan and my friend had veal Parmesan. Both dinners came with spaghetti and everything was delicious. I highly recommend this place!!

Amy L.

Yelp
Upon arrival we waited At least 5 minutes to be greeted, meanwhile 4 employees were standing around doing nothing. Our server was very nice but the service was very slow, our appetizers (delivered by a different server) arrived before our drinks. The table caddy holding condiments was very sticky/dirty. The food was bland, shrimp scampi was like buttered noodles with unseasoned shrimp.
google avatar

Sandy P.

Yelp
The service here is good, the waitress is VERY nice! The downside is that the food does take a long time to come out ( maybe we came on a busy day!) the flavor is a bit light but that's ok.

Gail C.

Yelp
Disappointing tonight. This is one of the places that we love the ambiance and food. Tonight they were charging extra for bread. Chicken Parm isn't pounded at all. Just a chunk of chicken deep fried. We won't be hurrying back.
google avatar

Gianna L.

Yelp
Vibe was great, very old school Italian feel. We came for appetizers. The Caprese salad was excellent, so was the calamari. (Not pictured) but the vegan meatless meatballs were very good and so was the cheesy garlic bread. Would definitely come back next time im in Savannah
google avatar

Krista M.

Yelp
My friend and I were on our way to another restaurant when we walked by Corleone's Trattoria and decided to press our luck to get served as it was the day before the Every Woman's Marathon and what better place to eat the night before a marathon than an Italian restaurant?! Carbs, am I right?!! Anyway, despite not having a reservation, we were able to get two seats at the bar which worked out perfectly. My friend and I split an appetizer of bruschetta and I ordered the Manicotti which came out piping hot, perfectly proportioned, and delectably delicious. I loved our time at Corleone's and actually thought about going back later in my trip. Our server/bartender, Darcie B., was very kind and patient despite the place being packed. I also thoroughly enjoyed the apparel and stickers for sale... Legalize Marinara was pretty funny to me. Super great Italian restaurant located on Martin Luther King Blvd. in Savannah, a popular spot for food and shopping in Savannah. Great ambiance, great service, great prices - great fuel for a marathon!
google avatar

Sam L.

Yelp
Truly lousy food. Sorry folks. Ordered the chicken parm. Served with side of spaghetti. Both arrived cold. Sent it back and returned the same. Sad, because this place looked charming..
google avatar

Todd G.

Yelp
This place was pretty good Had chicken parm and it was good food. Caesar salad was good too.
google avatar

Rebecca D.

Yelp
Ordered take out from here. Chicken Parmesan was not good. Tasted like frozen chicken without much flavor. The chef is hoping the sauce makes up for the lack of flavor. I could also say the same for the meatballs. The flat bread was the only plus.

Krishna D.

Yelp
We went there for lunch and it was an absolute pleasure. The food was amazing and the service was top notch. The flatbread we order was really great (forgot to take pictures) and the spaghetti was truly delicious. Really enjoyed here and pleased with our meal.
google avatar

Andi M.

Yelp
Service was great at Corleone's, but the food left something to be desired. My husband and I started with salads and breadsticks. They were fine, but not exceptional. The croutons in the salad were the packaged kind. I had the lasagne, and my husband had the penne vodka. The lasagne was disappointingly made with broken pappardelle noodles. It didn't have any ricotta, and the beef was in rather large chunks. This was more like a baked pasta with chunky meat sauce than a lasagne. My husband's penne vodka was better, but still didn't have the flavor we expected. The portion was generous, however. The best thing was their homemade cheesecake. It was light and delicious, and the white chocolate raspberry sauce was a perfect accompaniment. Sadly, we wouldn't return.

Roxanne K.

Yelp
Dinner on Saturday was very busy. Our server was great. Food was excellent!! Going back for BF's birthday dinner tonight !!
google avatar

Kaley J.

Yelp
We should have read these reviews before coming here! The restaurant looked like it had potential with a cozy atmosphere. We had a reservation for dinner and ordered promptly. We received our drinks quick but our food took over an hour to receive. We had somewhere to be and ended up having to cash out before receiving our food. The Amalfi martini tasted like it was only lime juice. For dinner, we had the penne alla vodka and the sauce was very watery. The Caesar salad was very salty and we could not eat it. Our waiter was not apologetic for the wait and no one warned us how long the food will take. Overall, very sad about our experience!
google avatar

Laurie M.

Yelp
If I could give 10 stars I would! Amazing service! Wonderful spaghetti & meatballs and the adult Mac & cheese!!! Wow! We were impressed with both meals!!! Decent prices too... and large portions.

J S.

Yelp
Food was very good and they had generous portions The server and staff were great Overall a great experience
google avatar

Courtney C.

Yelp
We had an awful experience here. The first clue was when a basket of breadsticks were set on the table. They came with little plastic tubs of margarine. Really? Our fried zucchini appetizer was weird. 6 pieces sprinkled with feta cheese and served with a marinara that tasted canned. The entrees we ordered were inedible. My eggplant parm was strange chunks of eggplant, still raw. The spaghetti it was paired with was mush. My husband's chicken Piccata was swimming in a tasteless broth, and topped with weird greens. Not a Piccata... They did remove our disgusting entrees from the bill. Worst food ever.
google avatar

Neal P.

Yelp
Eggplant parm was great - the ambiance is beautiful, and it was kid friendly (thank you!) Made for a really great lunch in Savannah for me and my family. Service is 100% the friendly vibe you'd expect from Savannah and from an Italian kitchen. Would definitely return and it really hit my fix for Italian food while visiting.
google avatar

Tonya T.

Yelp
Stopped in and grabbed a couple of seats at the bar at Corleone's while visiting Savannah. We had manicotti, chicken parm, and a couple sides of meatballs. All were delicious! If you'd like some good Italian that's reasonably priced and authentic, be sure to give them a whirl. You won't be disappointed!
google avatar

Kimberly C.

Yelp
Our food and drinks were amazing but the service was also great! The manager went above and beyond to accommodate my husband and I! We will always refer this place and return!
google avatar

Elizabeth T.

Yelp
I was late arriving and my party was already seated and waiting. The place was packed. The server was friendly and did not seem annoyed that they waited for me. The food was good. The sangria was good. I'll definitely come again and try some other items.
google avatar

Jim L.

Yelp
It was not a great dining experience. We arrived to get a light dinner at their sidewalk tables, we've walked by many times, and they were always full. We were told they were not serving outside today,Sunday. Only to leave an hour later to see a family being served there. The restaurant was almost empty. Frustrating. We each had flatbreads, hoping the food would be awesome. We were again let down. The flatbreads were both soggy and greasy. I had the Neopolitan. It was the most bland pesto I've ever eaten, and that includes the jar stuff from Kroger. My guess is it was not fresh and had lost all flavor. The Margarita flat bread was better, but that's not saying much. We also tried the spanakopita...way over salted. Service was adequate, but there was literally no care to create a dining experience.
