"This fourth-generation nursery has been a destination for Portland’s plant-buyers for more than thirty years. Recently, part of what’s made the shopping experience so special has been the addition of a farmhouse brunch, including daily quiches and eggs Benedict with arugula on cheddar-onion biscuits. Start, or finish, with some of the house-made baked goods, like cinnamon sugar doughnut holes or marionberry galettes." - Rebecca Roland, Nick Townsend, Thom Hilton

Visiting from Seattle and decided to treat my mom to a lil brunch. This place was the cutest restaurant. Nestled between a large plant store, the coffee was great and the service was phenomenal. We faced a thirty minute wait but used the time to explore the grounds and visit their chicken coop. We had a great time and the food was spectacular.

This place was so special to check out. From the nursery to the cafe it made for an amazing visit. There are multiple parking spaces on site. Once we walked up to the cafe we were able to put our name down. We went for lunch on a Friday and did have a lot a 30 minute wait once we arrived. All the service staff we encountered were super joyful and upbeat. Looking forward to visiting again!

Our brunch was delicious. The Belgium waffle with rich whipped cream and spiced fruit was the star! We took cinnamon rolls to go so we could enjoy them later at home. Cornell Farms cafe serves Sleepy Monk coffee, which is a favorite coffee roaster that is located on the coast in Cannon Beach. After we ate we visited one of the greenhouse gift shops and we fell in love with so many items. In addition to an assortment of plants and plant holders, they had toys, games, puzzles, home decor, cards, notebooks, candles, lotions, room sprays, and incense. Bliss!

This is a nursery I discovered by chance in the past. I remember wandering through the small pots and ornamental trees, which felt like strolling through a garden, and then stopping by the café for a cup of coffee. It was also marked as a place I wanted to visit on Google Maps, so I went back again. Walking around, I saw vibrant, blooming flowers, bare-branched roses, and cute decorative animals—everything needed to create a beautiful garden. It’s an enchanting place. Visiting on a Sunday morning makes for a lovely date spot, radiating pure romance. I recommend this place, though the coffee isn’t as professional as Stumptown’s. But sitting in the café, gazing out at the garden, wouldn’t you agree it’s about the feeling you get? What kind of atmosphere that would be!

Love this place! Beautiful old farmhouse surrounded by flowers and nursery stock. Delish food and pastries. Time limit of 90 minutes at a table, we were asked to finish up our girl's breakfast because they had gotten very busy. They have signs posted about this. I understand, but it's pretty rare to see this and act on it, so I was a teeny bit put off by it. However, we are big talkers, so we probably would've been there another 20 minutes! 😂 Reasonable prices, love their bowls of coffee!! It's a special place, I am taking my mom there for her 80th birthday. So happy I found it and my friends loved it too!

Google
I really want to give this place 5 stars because the idea is great and it’s so cute! The service was just so bad. My mom was visiting and we had brunch. We ordered eggs Benedict and mimosas! The mimosas came way after the food and when I asked the server about them she said “I’ll check” with an attitude and they didn’t come quickly after. The server never checked on us or asked us if we needed anything during the entire meal - we got up to find hot sauce and ketchup. Never offered refills or asked how everything was. I think she said about 10 words in total to us. Our eggs on the Benedict were also over cooked and not poached. They were more like soft boiled and this was the second experience with that. The menu hasn’t changed in a while so i was hoping the eggs would be done correctly. It’s a bummer for such a cool concept! I want to like it and wish it was good enough to go back.

I don’t usually leave bad reviews, but I felt this one was warranted. I booked a table for Mothers Day because my wife had heard good things about the cafe. When we arrived (5 minutes prior to our reservation time), we had to wait 20 minutes in the cold because our table wasn’t ready. There is no place to wait inside, but we squeezed awkwardly into the coffee shop area after about 10 minutes in the cold on the porch. When my wife tried to order the only thing on the menu she wanted, the kitchen was out of the main ingredient, so she had to pick something else. We weren’t given kids menus and didn’t know they existed until I saw crayons in the hallway and asked for them and something to draw on for my 8 and 10yr old. The server (not ours) returned with Mothers Day kids menus. We had already ordered the kids something from the only menus we were given. When the food arrived, the kids didn’t like the food from the adult menu and we asked to order additional food from the kids menu we had recently received. Nope, kitchen was closed already. All in all, a bad experience and I would not recommend the Cornell Farm Cafe. Any one of those things alone would have not been a big deal, but it seems like whoever ran and/or organized the event was over their head. Maybe they’re better during regular hours, but we won’t be trying them again.

Cornell Farm Nursery is an amazing place and the best spot for breakfast that I've visited. The atmosphere is beautiful and serene, with a stunning collection of flowers, plants, and trees. The food and coffee are excellent, and we particularly enjoyed the large trees and plants throughout the nursery. Although the café was busy, the food was great; I ordered the veggie omelette, which was delicious.

Winnie C.

Yelp
We ordered the blueberry melted cheese, summer scramble egg, ice coffee and pistachio matcha. Everything was super delicious. Staff were friendly and dining space was relaxing. Plenty of parking and vegetarian friendly. There is a very cute gift shop and plenty of flowers and greenery around. The only things to be aware would be this place has no public wifi and no phone connection; One restroom in the dining cafe, some additional restrooms behind the gift shop.

Yelp
So I haven't posted a Yelp review in years... my experience was so bad I downloaded the app and reset my password just to write this review. I wanted to write the whole story but it was too long. So here are the bullet points: - Quoted 45mins for a wait to be seated, took almost an hour. Cut through the restaurant and patio multiple times, it was not even half full but had multiple tables that sat unbussed. There was no reason we couldn't be seated - Once seated, server came once to take our orders, once to deliver our drink orders, then was never seen again - Drink order delivered was incomplete and we never got a chance to get the rest of our order cause they never came back - We were sat in the patio, only half to capacity, other tables left empty and full of dirty dishes. Never was bussed while we were there - Whole tables remained dirty, attracting flies, there was a group of 4-5 servers hanging out inside chatting and laughing. I'm all for taking some breaks but none of the wait staffed cared to check in on tables or cleaning - Family behind us kept going to the cafe to get items for their children cause the server was MIA - waited about 40 mins for food that never came, and sever never came back. When my husband asked about food ETA, they said 5mins. We left after 7 - my toddler son never got his juice and cried when we left cause he wanted to eat. Don't worry, momma had his favorite snacks for him but he wanted to eat a proper meal. So we put our name in at arrival around 10:30A and left around 12:30pm, no food, no plants, just a whole lot of disappointment. To CFC management/ownership, instead of trying to turn profit with more tables, get experienced kitchen staff to turn orders quicker, and get experienced wait staff who will at least use some of their downtime for bussing or talking to their customers. Happy ending, we ended up at my son's favorite taco cart, but we wasted the day at Cornell Farms. I don't even think I'll come back for plants cause I'm so mad.

Yelp
Wow this place was... not good. Very cute set up but looks don't make up for poor service and just okay food. The wait was extremely long and we wouldn't mind if it was worth the wait. The drinks were really bad. That includes coffee and alcoholic drinks. The cappuccino was foam with a splash of bland coffee. The spiced hot toddy was water with a splash of bourbon and a cinnamon stick. Two of those were ordered and one was completely different than the other. The mimosa was, fine. When concern was raised about one of the drinks the server just said, "what drink? Yeah that's pretty accurate" and no solution was given. As for the food, the portions were alright. The saving grace was the bacon really. The food wasn't very "pretty" so no pictures ended up being taken. Potatoes were incredibly bland and definitely needed ketchup, but they were also over cooked. We ordered an apple turnover and it was honestly just a bunch of sugar, and I mean A LOT of sugar. Overall, we enjoyed standing outside taking in the scenery more than eating and drinking in the actual cafe. Oh and parking is horrendous. There is barely room for two cars and good luck if a truck comes through (which is quite often). I would say skip the cafe, go buy some plants but be careful where you park.

Tierra H.

Yelp
This is a small restaurant with limited indoor seating. sitting outside is an option but not on cold days because they don't have heaters on the front patio. The food is cool it's nothing to write home about but pricing is ridiculously expensive. The coffee size for a small is very pricey. I don't think I will be going back, this place is not mind blowing

Yelp
Need a mini vacation for your spirit? Have brunch at Cornell Farm Cafe. Okay, in reality brunch traditionally starts at 11am, but fortunately, their brunch begins at 8 am. So it's really breakfast, but what a treat! Their setting is on a hill surrounded by all sorts of botanicals, so it's not only visually appealing, it smells like you are in the country. The breakfast consist of simple fare but nicely orchestrated, and tasty. The staff is always friendly and courteous, and this peaceful little setting gives you the proper energy and attitude for taking on the rest of your day. Make sure you visit this little venue, And even if you come just for coffee You'll leave with a tranquil mind and a spark of inspiration. Enjoy!

Yelp
Sorry but still my go to for my two favorites....As seen in photos!! Seriously my favorite go to spot for eggs Benedict and half order of waffles!!! If you know you know this is still the spot for your breakfast fix but sadly my last visit came with some strange service? My server never returned to check in ....Or even offer refill on coffee? Which is not the norm and definitely uncommon but what made it worse? I was waiting for her to check in so I could ask for the ketchup and Tabasco, I requested at the time of order? But she came and dropped off check??? Hmmm? Sadly lost my appetite, paid and took my food to go. Strange feeling but hoping just an off day??

Kasey K.

Yelp
Their seasonal matcha is seriously the best I've ever had. Matcha with coconut and pistachio, it was the perfect creamy mixed with fresh. Also the grilled cheese with rhubarb and strawberry?? Very odd combo but tasted amazing. Always very busy so we just ordered to go and ate under a shady tree. Love wandering the nursery and basking in the plants after eating. Fast and kind service people!

Yelp
We had an early morning flight into Portland, so we came straight from the airport to here for some breakfast. The location is gorgeous and the menu is full of fresh flavors... unfortunately I'm a decently picky eater so I found it just a bit *too fancy* for my taste, but was still able to find some options that worked! I settled on a cold brew coffee with oat milk (delish) and the Denver scramble without ham (I'm a vegetarian). For the price, I wish there was some sort of carb (biscuit, toast, etc.) included, but I ended up ordering a cheddar onion biscuit from the bakery case to supplement. I thought the portions were a good size, but I did find the scramble seemed to lack a little flavor. I did try some of the marionberry jam that came with my dad's biscuit and found that to be delicious! My partner ordered the spring scramble with sausage and said he enjoyed his meal quite a bit. Service was good, vibes were good... I would come back here again, but this was not my favorite restaurant we've visited during our many trips to Portland.

Yelp
This is our second visit to Cornell Farm Cafe for breakfast. We bring our pup and sit outside where there is a beautiful view of the hills and protection from the wind and also heating lamps for any chill days. The quiches and Benedicts are just outstanding. I can't say enough. Fluffiest quiche and the freshest eggs right from the farm with deep golden yolks. Even the sliders and sammys are exceptional. You just can't go wrong. The servers here are always friendly and don't forget to pick up some baked goods for home on your way out (especially the huge biscuits)!

Ashley M.

Yelp
10/10 brunch spot!! The vibes are immaculate and the food is fresh and full of flavor! They have great coffee and tea options and their pastries are great to take home! I really enjoy the enclosed patio with the heat sources and the looking into the plants and gardening areas during my meal. The staff is friendly and accommodating.

Yelp
4.5 stars. Great food, excellent service & interesting place to visit. Hadn't been to this cafe in a long time so we visited today for Sunday Brunch. We waited 55 minutes from check-in to being seated (for a party of 2 + a high chair). In the meanwhile we roamed the plant and gift shops. It was fun browsing the Venus Fly Traps, big beautiful Fig Trees, and seeing cool items like juvenile finger lime trees. My tribe also enjoyed the pen full of chickens outside. We sat indoors near the check-in desk and it was very noisy, both visually and literally. I much preferred the heated covered patio section in the back, and will likely request that area in the future. My family's order consisted of 2 breakfast plates, a blueberry muffin, a Bloody Mary & a grapefruit mimosa. The muffin was exceptionally good, with a thick crust of cinnamon streusel. Our food was also a cut above, everything cooked properly and plated with intention. I did find the breakfast potatoes to be sparse and diced a little too small. However everything else was delish. The buttermilk biscuit stood out to me as a highlight. It was flaky and tender, with a smear of butter and a good plop of the marionberry jam, it was a little corner of paradise. All in all, a better visit than last year. Quite a unique place where you feel immersed in nature, and get fed quality food, maybe you'll even come home with a new plant. I look forward to another visit although it is inconvenient to not be able to make a reservation anymore.

Erin K.

Yelp
My sister took me to this cute little cafe and I love it. We went on a Saturday so it was definitely crowded and there was about a 45 minute wait but we got lucky with a table on the patio. We ordered vanilla latte, Denver scramble, and Eggs Benedict. Everything was so delicious and made to order. The bacon on the eggs Benedict was just best and I could eat it all day. The Denver scramble was so cheesy and I loved the veggies in the scramble. Coffee was also delicious. We did have to wait a while for the food but it is definitely worth the wait. Can't wait to go back!

Rheanna A.

Yelp
We went here for breakfast. The house is adorable! Love the whole setup of the house on the hill. The coffee was good. Breakfast was good, but not amazing. It could just be on me- i ordered a standard breakfast plate. My friends loved what they ordered, one of which was a seasonal couscous dish. Service was good and friendly. Decent wait time, but it goes by fast because you can walk around and look at the plants while you wait.

Connie A.

Yelp
This place is adorable, and the food is to die for! Service was on the slow side, but was worth waiting for the food. We had to ask to be seated , so stood in doorway blocking folks not knowing what to do!!! Some servers so nice , others unfriendly and could care less . The nursery plants flowers and grounds amazing! Definitely will go back!

Yelp
I only wish you could give 1/2 Stars, as there is only one minor reason why I am not giving this place 5 stars. It is because neither my husband nor I liked our potatoes. They were bland and chewy. Otherwise, everything was spot on. We brought our pup, who was very well behaved. That in itself was amazing as it is not always the case. Our server gave her pats and water, so she was very happy. It was a little chilly on the day we went so we sat in the heated tent area. It was perfect.  I had the breakfast sandwich with avocado, and my husband had an omelette. As previously mentioned, both were good minus the potatoes. What impressed me the most has how generous they were with the avocado. I find that even when a place charges you more for avocado you are lucky if you get two slices. I felt like I had an entire avocado in my sandwiches. It oozed avocado. One can never have too much avocado, so I was a happy camper.  Our server was great too, I commented on how good the jam was and he gave us a little extra. Can't wait to enjoy it with breakfast tomorrow.

Rose D.

Yelp
What a pleasant surprise to find a nice cafe tucked into a garden center/nursery. They have breakfast options along with sandwiches, salads, and a kids menu. Our server was great and the food was delicious. I think their prices are a tad high, at least for breakfast, considering the portion size was perfect to eat your whole meal and not need to take leftovers home. I also wish they didn't charge so much for gluten-free bread or dairy-free milk alternatives. It's a small place inside for seating, but they have a large covered patio that's tented with heaters as well. If there's a wait for a table just put your name on the list and they'll text you when your table is ready, so you can wander around the garden center while you wait. (see my separate review for the garden center, it's great, and definitely worth looking around)

Jane C.

Yelp
The food here is usually great, especially the baked items and their seasonal items but most unfortunately, their service here is PAINFULLY slow.

Lisa H.

Yelp
Truly exquisite breakfast experience right as they opened on a Saturday. Sat out on the patio and everything came out fresh and tasty. And then I enjoyed the houseplant store on site.

Jez V.

Yelp
We made a reservation at 12:30pm on a Friday afternoon. Our plans changed so we decided to come in at 10:30am instead to check if we can be seated earlier. We were told that we can choose to wait till spots open up but weren't seated till 12pm (even though some tables were open so we don't know why we had to wait so long). Food came out after a fair time of waiting. Everything we ordered was delicious so it made up for having to wait so long. I was pleasantly surprised with how everything tasted, especially the waffles and biscuit sandwich. It's a fairly small restaurant space and their restroom is very tiny! Our server was very friendly and checked in with us often.

Michelle G.

Yelp
We visited on a Monday for breakfast and were greeted and sat immediately. My husband and I ordered quiche and eggs Benedict. The eggs Benedict was on a biscuit and tasted amazing, I highly recommend trying. We also tried their specialty lattes and all I can say is run don't walk. Y u m! After breakfast we walked the path around the cafe-the plants smelled wonderful and the gift shop is very nice. If you're looking for a nice brunch place or just a place to shop and grab a good coffee-try Cornell Farms.

Rob T.

Yelp
Get there early. The wait is crazy. We saved our date by ordering take out and finding a place to eat outside. The experience was very nice, coffee was great. My wife loved her dish and the pastries were on point. My Hash was ok and small. That's why 4 stars.

Hannah G.

Yelp
The overall experience was great- the service was fast for being a bit busy! I loved the ambiance here as well- while we waited for a table we walked around the farm and looked at the various plants. We ordered the avocado toast because we wanted something light and it was perfect! Definitely want to come back and try more of the menu.

Becky G.

Yelp
I had an amazing brunch experience at Cornell Farm Cafe. Despite the competitive parking, I've always managed to find a spot. The beautiful property kept me occupied as I strolled through the gardens while waiting for my table. The ham benedict and Belgian waffle my friend and I ordered were not only delicious but also generously split onto two plates. The freshness of the food stood out. Ending the visit with some shopping in their plant shop added to the fun. Overall, a delightful and refreshing brunch outing.

Myrielle J.

Yelp
The rhubarb grilled cheese changed my life. Honestly amazing! Also a very queer safe space!

Luis C.

Yelp
I usually never write reviews but I had to give 1 star review if I could give it a 0 I would. First thing we notice the tables were not cleared they still had a ton of tables with dirty plates. Which was odd as there were few table with people in them. We had to wait over 5min to get a waiter to take our order. We finally were able to get our order in we had to wait 40min and still our food did not come out. We also noticed people looking around as they did not receive there orders as well. The thing that made me even more upset is that no one came to check on us for refills or to let us know that our order was coming out. At the end we canceled our order and the icing on the cake was when the waiter brought the food for people that arrived later then us. I don't know if it was because we were Hispanic not sure why there order came first. Pretty place but terrible service and the people working seem rude and seem like they did not care to be there. 07/07/24 12:10pm

Rossa P.

Yelp
Even though the service is super slow at lunch time, it's super worth it! Sometimes when you feel sick of eating heavy all the time when you go out, try here. Ingredients taste fresh and seem less processed. Although i'm eating out, I feel like I'm having a nice homemade meal. Cornell Farm Cafe, 8212 SW Barnes Rd, Portland, OR 97225 [Menu] - Eggnog Chai - Specialty Latte - Breakfast Sandwich - Couscous Bowl *my best - Pumpkin pie

Maureen C.

Yelp
Didn't get a picture but everything was excellent! Fresh homemade goodness! The wait was long but we were happy that we waited and browsed thru the beautiful plants on a sunny day

Katie G.

Yelp
If you've ever wanted to enjoy breakfast amidst a beautiful garden, this is the spot for you! It was such a treat coming here for a ladies brunch. The food was tasty and satisfying, but not outstanding. Our server was young and a little disheveled. But, this didn't stop us from having an amazing memorable time. Because the sun was shining, the birds were chirping, and we were surrounded by beautiful blooming flowers! For this reason, I highly recommend sitting outside on a sunny day (and make reservations!) Once you feel satiated, you can peruse the large Cornell Farm Nursery. There are so many unique plants to discover. Say hi to the chickens for me! All in all, this was a remarkable experience. I will definitely be back! (Great idea for a date also!)

Jean R.

Yelp
This place is such a gem! Name says it all, literally a fun cafe located on a farmhouse. Building itself, looks like a house that was remodeled as a restaurant. We've visited this place on a few occasions and ranged from sitting on their 'covered patio' to inside 'the house'. Each seating spot has it's own fun nature from sitting on the covered patio (you get this fun terrace vibe) while safely staying dry from the rain. Inside, there are fun decorations and window placements to appreciate their garden/nursery. Food: Delicious! Clean, not too greasy breakfast with fun twists and items look made fresh in house. Drink: Cafe located inside. So, feel free to make a request. I've tried the Pistachio latte and it had just the right balance and sweetness ratio. My husband also enjoyed the house drip coffee and bonus points for other milk/ cream option! Non dairy, or vegans (they have options!) Service: Staff is always welcoming and friendly! Cleanliness: Yes, very very clean! Atmosphere: Clam and pleasant, seems like a good place for any occasion. *Don't forget to stop by their nursery /gift shop. Nice way to enjoy a small walk after eating. Highly recommend you give this place a try!

Sarah M.

Yelp
This place is so tranquil. They have a beautiful view of the garden. Excellent indoor and outdoor seating. The food and coffee were great. We will definitely return as a Saturday favorite.

Yaya S.

Yelp
I really liked it the first time around when i came, but it seems like the slow (and sometimes un-attentive) service is something quite common here. it stays pretty busy throughout the day for the most part. opted for the breakfast sandwich and bacon benedict today, and shared it amongst us three with some leftover. (we arent the biggest eaters portion wise) the hollandaise sauce on the benedict pretty much tasted like butter - not that im complaining, bc who doesnt like butter? just not what we expected. the poached eggs were perfectly done, and the bacon + greens that came with it was superb! as for the breakfast sandwich, we weren't too big on. there was a choice of bacon or avocado, and sadly - we chose the wrong one. the avocados were pretty brown on the inside, so we ended up discarding about half. the tomato aioli and other insides were quite tasty though! i think that they essentially do a really great job with the whole farm to table concept, but i just believe that quality and service could be improved slightly. totally forgivable though, considering the scale of their establishment.

Rachelle R.

Yelp
I went to Cornell Farms today. First I would like to recommend having a reservation the wait times were about 1 hour but it was jam packed. They do reservations online and it would be way easier. That being said- the entire staff with so bubbly, and happy, and fun to be around. They were so busy yet everybody was happy and ready to help. I was very impressed with the can do attitude of the staff. The vibe there is just your family farm type vibe. There are tables inside and outside to eat at. It's so much fun to walk around and look at all the plans they have as well. It was a total blast to have brunch at a farm where you can also look at chickens and flowers you've never seen before. The food was so tasty. I had avocado toast and I really enjoyed it. It was so savory. I've never had carrot hummus but I am a fan! I also got a delicious oat milk chai. The chai is a sweet chai instead of spicy which is my preference. I do wish the menu had a little more variety but I also totally get it because they probably don't have the ability to do that.

Christine S.

Yelp
Sent a note about this to Cornell Farms and did not receive a response. They have terrible customer service and obviously do not take allergies seriously! I tried to buy a gluten free chocolate cookie but the woman working the counter suggested the brownie- turned out the brownie is vegan not GF. She rang me up for the brownie which was .50 cents more. No prob- I said she could keep that towards tips. She then used the tongs that were out to grab the GF cookie. It was the last one there, so I let her know I couldn't eat it because of cross-contamination and tried to explain how that affects people with allergies which she responded to with- "ok cool" and rolled her eyes. She was very dismissive, and I could tell that she didn't care to change the behavior for the next person. I told her had I eaten it without noticing she used the tongs, I could have gotten sick. She got defensive and said she understood because she herself has "bad allergies". If that was the case, she should have known better or at least acknowledged and/or apologized. She even acted like I was troubling her for a refund. If workers aren't trained or sympathetic to allergies, what the point in even carrying GF products. Not to mention, there was only counter service and their food was at over an hour wait.

Laura S.

Yelp
I loved the couscous meal! Very fresh ingredients. We were seated immediately in the back and enjoyed they environment.

Zachary R.

Yelp
It's great starting the morning off at Cornell Farm Cafe. It's a good place to start the morning off on the right foot. The cafe shares a spot with the nursery and garden store. It's a tight space and parking can be a struggle if you hit it when they are busy. The cafe is good for a solid breakfast with seasonal menu items and all the cafe options you'd need to get moving. The staff are friendly and very attentive. Slightly on the pricey side but you also get to see some of the garden from the table typically. It's a cozy spot. The garden store has an interesting range of selections ranging from toys, books, fun stickers, and really just check it out if you're already getting food. I usually walk out with something. I don't garden but the nursery is a fun walkthrough. In fact I make a whole thing if it and just do a loop breakfast/store/nursery. Great way to start the day.

Amanda L.

Yelp
Lovely setting for a breakfast or lunch in a quaint farmhouse among the stunning gardens. The oatmilk latte I ordered was very nice. I also had a half breakfast slider, which was a simple egg sandwich on a buttery roll with avocado, arugula, cheddar, and sweet pepper jam. The slider also came with a side of breakfast potatoes, which was plenty of food for me. The slider was pretty good, and the potatoes were fine, though it seemed they were well-past fresh. All around, it was a nice enough breakfast. I would go back again, though I'd hope that the music selection would be better next time. There was pop-punk emo-rock playing loudly enough to be annoying. Not the kind of music conducive to early morning garden cafes, in my opinion.

Andrew A.

Yelp
First time back in four years. While I'm not a vegan or vegetarian I find myself opting for it if on the menu. Their one choice, the vegan tostada, was just okay, the portion small. However, I did envy two different sandwiches my friend's ordered, one was very generous with the bacon. And the Eggs Benedict looked scrumptious. Lastly, the shrimp chowder was more than decent. Prices are not out of whack, the ice tea with refill is a bargain. Service was very pleasant. Decent selection of cocktails, but some are only available after 4:00 p.m. which is kinda lame. Lastly, the scenery and vibe is a huge plus.

Yelp
Literally the best place to go to! There's beautiful gardens to walk at and enjoy the scenery the breakfast was good nothing crazy. But the vibes are so worth it. I recommend this place for a nice breakfast and walk.

Yelp
Came here for Sunday brunch and arrived around 9:20. Upon arrival the patio and inside were practically empty but there was a 45 mins wait. We walked around the farm for the duration of the wait, grabbing a menu so we can be ready when sat. Once we were at the table service was so slow. We ordered immediately as we sat down and at first interaction with our server, around 10:15ish, and our food didn't come out until 10:50. Some of our dishes were cold or tough. We had to wait a long time for two beverages, a drip coffee and Bloody Mary. I had to get up and grab my own napkins and sugars because our server did not remember to bring us napkins when we requested it at the beginning of our meal. When our server checked in about how the food was his response to our honest feedback seemed like he could care less about our experience there. It sucks because I was raving about how yummy and good this brunch spot was and took a visitor from out of town here. We definitely won't be back! :/

Yelp
Left previous reviews and not going to leave a long one here. Just have to say that my wife got the basic breakfast this morning with eggs bacon fruit potatoes and a biscuit. I tried the bacon and aaaaaahhhhhh !!! Best restaurant bacon I've ever tasted. She hadn't tried it yet, so I told her to- granted she was already enjoying breakfast- she took a bite and literally said "OMG! What did they do to this?!?" Whatever they are doing, it works. All the other food we had was awesome too. Great coffee!

Yelp
Casual convivial setting surrounded by a nursery of plants. The outdoor covered patio offers a nice view of the nursery surroundings. Tall propane heaters keeps you cozy. We loved the smoked ham benedict with arugula and hollandaise sauce on an English muffin - and with a thick side of bacon. Pastries looked mouthwatering delicious.

Yelp
We sat in a tent, food was not memorable. We brought home to go donuts for the hubs and he said they tasted old and stale. Not sure what the fuss is about.

Yelp
Updating my review...we arrived at 9am and were told there was an hour and a half wait. ... Despite the restaurant being 75 precent empty. A second waitress explained that there were reservations booked for 10am and later and we could be seated and served as long as we were out by 10am. We could have totally done that! But the other lady interrupted and said she could not accommodate that and we left for breakfast elsewhere. So to the owner of this lovely restaurant...your wait staff could use some training. And I'm sorry your restaurant was empty from 8-10am on a Sunday because one waitress couldn't fathom seating people AN HOUR before someone else's 10am reservation.

Yelp
Went this morning to have Brunch with my daughter. Got there at 8:00am and we were seated right away. Cute Farmhouse! We ordered 3 different things and shared them. The Waffle with blood oranges and candied pistachios delicious! Bacon Slider, and Biscuit and Sausage. Everything was wonderful down to our London Fog. I highly recommend coming here on a cold rainy day to sit in the Farmhouse, or when the sun comes out to sit on the back porch and then when your done you can go and find a cute plant to take home on there wonderful grounds!

Yelp
I had all my food photos on my social media. The food is great, I had the half waffles, cappuccino and jasmine tea. The best part about this place is..walking it off. There's so much to look at, the chickens are cute and doesn't smell like a farm. Lots of plants, and shopping to do after the cafe and there's a to go area if you'd like to grab and go.

Yelp
My friend found this place so we decided to stop in on our lunch. Really cute setting: a nursery, scenic walk, and restaurant all in one location. We went on Monday afternoon and it was pretty busy so I can't imagine a weekend, but all the staff were friendly and we were seated quickly. The food was very tasty but price relative to portion size is not great. My friend ordered a salmon eggs Benedict which was a small portion and paid about $16. The farmhouse-converted-restaurant is really cute, there's a decent menu size, and plenty of seating, indoor and outdoor. The location allows for a nice stroll afterwards too! Overall, cute little place for brunch but a bit expensive for what you get.

Yelp
Despite the good looking reviews and how close this was for my group and I, we had an awkward and awful experience. We arrived in two SUV's and a party of 14 only to be turned away that they cannot accommodate our big group. We asked to be split in two groups and the white hostess said no. I also asked if we can do 7 parties of 2 & still no. The place looked nice and peaceful but service looked slow. My group felt discriminated because all brown people were turned away and The white people before and after us showing up were being attended. We'll spend our money elsewhere if we're not wanted . We went down the street to Biscuits Cafe.

Yelp
Drinks: - Ordered the hot chai latte w/oat milk, it didn't have much of that spiciness I was expecting from most chai lattes but it was still very nice - In retrospect I might've gotten almond milk instead, since I think the oat milk made the drink a little too thick for my taste - I didn't have to wait that long for the latte to cool down before taking my first sip, they timed that almost perfectly Food: - Ordered the smoked ham benedict, the plate had fairly high edges which prevented me from making a mess - The hollandaise sauce was rich but didn't get tiring - The arugula was a nice touch with the dish - The English muffins were nice and buttery, I can imagine this getting heavy for some folks so beware Ambience: - Felt homey and comfortable, all the plants and paintings were aesthetically pleasing - We we're seated inside near a window, the view was pleasant even on the rainy day - The place was full when we went so there was lots of chatter, so it's a good place to have a conversation Overall: Great service the wait wasn't too long even though I didn't make a reservation that day, atmosphere was homey, food and drinks were great. Looking forward to visiting again.

Yelp
Sleepy Monk coffee was pretty good. The avocado toast and Denver Scramble were over priced for what they were. $16 for small Denver scramble ala carte was not a way to get my repeat business. Nice selection of plants. Some yard art. All pricey for what they were. Might be the area where it's located. I wasn't impressed and won't be returning.
