"Open past the average dinner hour, Corner Cafe Bakery is a great stop day or night. Highlights include tender pineapple rolls, lychee mousse cakes, and a ton of lovely mooncakes, but the selection is vast and it’s worth dipping into the savory side as well. Just down the block, sibling Top Bread is worth a stop too." - Terrence Doyle, Adam H. Callaghan

"Corner Cafe also has one of the biggest selections of mooncakes in Chinatown. There are plenty of photogenic Cantonese-style mooncakes in colors that match their filling: purple (purple sweet potato), red (red lotus), yellow (pineapple), and green (green tea). Corner Cafe also offers small and large classic Cantonese-style mooncakes filled with red bean, green bean/mung bean, red lotus, white lotus, mixed nut, or winter melon (also available in mini), as well as the same durian, green tea, and mung bean/green bean snow skin mooncakes as Taiwan Bakery. Sibling store Top Bread across the street also has a few of the same offerings." - Linda Huang

"Just in case you’re wondering, Corner Bakery Cafe is in fact located at the corner of two streets in Chinatown. Their bread and buns are made at an off-site location (which, interestingly, also supplies Great Taste Bakery and 101 Bakery), though the cakes do seem to be made on-premise. We recommend ordering a cake or three, since they come in both single serving and larger sizes." - Joel Ang

The desserts are so pretty! The bubble tea is bad but the food is great. Pork steamed buns are HUGE and relatively cheap and very good. Pineapple red bean bun very good too. Scallion bread!!

What a cute little bakery! The pastries were gorgeous looking and the prices were around $5 for most things, very reasonable. We got a red bean cake and a green tea moon cake, both fresh and delicious! You can grab a cake and a bubble tea to go, but there is no place to sit down, just fyi.

I thought the food here was cheap for the quantity compared to a restaurant. You have to do a ten dollar minimum with your credit card but the food here is healthy and good quality. There are also some very ornate oriental decorations

Good bakery. It was packed but they had some really nice looking and tasting desserts. I got some tarts (not the egg tart but another one) and a couple mousse cakes (mango and lychee). The lychee was a bit bland, but the tart and the mango mousse cakes were excellent. We saw someone purchase some bread that looked like melon pan, and we returned later to buy some, but they were already sold out, so we will most definitely be back to try those.

Came here to pick up some pastries after getting dinner in South End. They were one of the few pastry shops open after 6PM on Sunday, and most of the pastries were still available. We got a variety of cakes and pastries including the egg tarts, mousse cakes, rolls, and the pork sung pastry. The egg tarts were one of the best I’ve tried in town, and both the chocolate and lychee mousse cakes were also pretty good. My favorite was the Napoleon cake which was essentially vanilla custard layered between crunchy and nutty pastry. Although this place may not have the cheapest pastries in Chinatown, they are definitely worth trying.

Asian bakery in the Boston Chinatown area. There's so many bakeries and pastries to choose from in various flavors. Some are very nicely made into fruit shape like the mini durian cake. All the bakeries are made fresh daily. You can tell it is well made with top-notch ingredients when you eat it the next day. The mango and lychee cake was very fruity and flavorful, not too sweet, which is perfect. Definitely would come back when we visit Boston again in the future.

Best red bean moon cake I’ve had! The sweet potato moon cake was also great. Highly recommend!

I probably could have bought one of everything it all looked so good. And because I was planning to take the treats home on a plane it helped that a lot of it was already packaged and what wasn't they put into a box for me. We tried several different treats and were pleased with all of them. And the Portuguese egg cream was the best I've ever had!
