Austin Restaurants Closed in November 2024 - Eater Austin

"The casual American-y/Texas-y restaurant from the WIP Hospitality group (formerly known as ELM) closed on November 24. The company wasn’t allowed to renew its lease, which tracks since the block is being turned into a high-rise residential building. The business opened the bar in 2016." - Nadia Chaudhury

Google
Great location and venue overall, service was unbelievably slow saw a few groups sit and leave during our brunch, luckily we were in no way in a rush but it was still frustratingly slow. Food was amazing, shrimp and grits are a must, breakfast burger was awesome as well. $70+tip for 2 person brunch with coffee, no alcohol. Location and vibe was highly on point, lots of people watching and relaxing atmosphere. Would definitely go again if had time to burn.

Google
Came here on a whim after looking for restaurants in the area with good reviews. Service was excellent & what stood out the most. Tried the brunch burger & wife had the burrito. Good portions & left feeling satiated. Food was yummy & got the job done. A little on the pricier side for what it was, but the upscale atmosphere & service explains why!

For a casual business event, Corner Restaurant is ideal. Its convenient location attached to the Marriott, diverse indoor and outdoor seating options - each with a unique vibe and quality food and service make it a standout choice. The staff are are friendly, too.

My boyfriend and I had the best time. Our server Paddy made it all more incredible. His suggestions were in point. He was honest and very entertaining. He somehow got us all 3 desserts even tho we only order too just because he knew we wanted to try all of them. We Will 10000% come back just for Paddy. Best server in town.

Google
I had a hard time believing a restaurant could average 4.9 w/over 16000 reviews. Now I understand. The Corner focuses on a small menu and they do everything perfectly. We had cornbread, brisket tacos, cheeseburger w/fries, and a brownie with ice cream for dessert. This is a must visit any time you’re in Austin.

Google
Definitely a great spot and location. Great ambience. The food was spectacular for the price. Cornbread was good, the red snapper was phenomenal, the burnt ends were delicious as well. Espresso martini was so good too. Service could’ve been better. Definitely not fine dining. This is a bar atmosphere and the service is in relation. They won’t time your drinks before the meals and they aren’t overly attentive. They’re just good enough. Still more than worth it to go.

Google
Corner has quickly become one of our favorite spots in Austin. The patio is unbeatable—right on the street, great people-watching, and the perfect place to relax with a cocktail. The short rib taquitos are out of this world—flavorful, crispy, and satisfying. The tuna tostada is light, fresh, and packed with flavor, and the brisket tacos are another must-try. We’ve never had a bad meal here. Add in the amazing cocktails and relaxed vibe, and it’s easy to see why we keep coming back. Highly recommend!

Google
Food was great as always! Wagyu burger add bacon and avocado, cooked medium to perfection. Brownie a-la-mode soft and on point as always. And Marina is an excellent waitress…courteous, smiling, above and beyond. I wish every waitstaff everywhere I travel across the world was as good as her. Airline crew so I frequent here often, never disappointed.

Yelp
I'm dumb. When I review a Marriott place, I ought to try to review it when I can settle down and do some serious drinking. Marriot bars tend to be excellent ... and the ones in the more upscale Marriotts are particularly lush. But I showed up at the Corner Restaurant at the J W Marriott for a businessman's lunch. Eat fast and do productive things for the rest of the day. Kind of a waste of a good opportunity. * * * Marriotts and Omnis are the two hotel chains I think about when I think about good food. Of course there are many spectacular five star hotels with food to die for who are technically owned by corporate chains. They keep their classic high prestige name so as to obscure the ownership issue. Marriotts wear who owns them on their sleeve. * * * The Corner at J W Marriotts on 2nd Street is a typical high end Marriott property. The real estate is gorgeous. I love the lobby. I love the interior of the Corner. The other restaurant at the 2nd St J W Marriotts is an Italian steakhouse that looks like an empty excuse to spend money. The steaks might be okay but the prices are mindboggling. The Corner is only slightly on the high side and delivers value for the money. I did the Chicken Chili - an absolutely first rate white chili. It hit just the right spot of being spicy enough to immediately command my attention but not being so combative as to put up a fight going down. It was aggressive and comforting at the same time. I love being comforted. Had I been drinking, there are any number of beers or whiskeys that would have made a first rate accompaniment. Well ... maybe next time.

Yelp
I enjoy the "hole in the wall" restaurants. Excellent brisket, cole slaw, and bean soup. If downtown Austen, you need to try this establishment.

Yelp
We really enjoyed our dinner here. We were visiting Austin for a few days and our hotel was nearby. We wanted something better than fast food and weren't in the mood for BBQ. This delivered. The fact that you can sit outside and enjoy the weather while eating delicious food by a vibrant corner definitely helped. We sat at the bar and split everything. We got red snapper ceviche, asparagus, the short rib taquitos and the smoked brisket tacos. They were all delicious, but the tacos were the winner. I had their spicy margarita and my bf had a bourbon. Both were well made and yummy. Service was good, they were attentive. 1 star less because when I ordered the ceviche the waiter said 'do you want chips with that', and I said 'Sure' assuming I'd get a few chips to scoop up the seafood with. Instead I got enough corn chips to feed 5 people and was of course charged for a full order. Everything was pretty pricey including the drinks, but we were on vacation and just accepted it.

Yelp
We were staying at the JW Marriott and the weather was not your typical February weather. It was freezing and we didn't want to venture out. Corner Restaurant saved the day. We ate at the restaurant five times while we stayed and every time it was stellar. The service, the food, the drinks and the atmosphere were absolutely stellar. Don't let the hotel restaurant fool you -- it's definitely a restaurant that would be on my routine places to go. Highly recommended!

Yelp
Stayed on Rainey street and walked to Corner for breakfast with out-of-town guests. The portions were nice and the food was really good! Not pictured were the French Toast Fritters that were an excellent start to our breakfast. I got the All American breakfast which is a classic plate of favorites but the best thing we ordered were the Chipotle Pork Chilaquiles - it's a must!

Yelp
We stopped at Corner for lunch because we were staying at the JW Marriott and it was convenient. We had a decent lunch, the chips & guac were tasty, but for the price a little steep. I tried the Corner House Salad, the dressing was very unique, but I enjoyed it, it was spicy and a little tangy, it was a huge portion. We stoped in a few times for the convenience and to use our JW Marriott daily credits, a good use of the money if you are staying here!

Yelp
The food here is always delicious. A few nights ago I ordered the salmon dish and I was not disappointed. It was very tasty! Ali, our waitress was great. She was super accommodating and made great recommendations. While this spot is definitely expensive, I do enjoy coming here for a special night out.

Yelp
This was some of the best food I ever ate. While attending a conference at the hotel I visited this lovely restaurant accurately named for lunch with a colleague. We were seated immediately and while they had a beautiful patio with fire pits it was a bit chilly if you were not near the fire or in the sun. We were seated immediately in a large comfy booth and our waitress was so kind! My colleague wanted malt vinegar so have with her fries and she was so accommodating and found it! My drink was fruity and tasty and every bite of my food was an explosion of flavor! I'm still dreaming about it! Definitely a must if staying downtown Austin.

Yelp
Service was great and food orders came out pretty quick. Our server was super accommodating with drink customizations and gave some good recommendations. The steak was cooked nicely and came with a ton of chimichrui. Was so good dipping the steak in that sauce and eating with the seasoned potatoes. The asparagus was a good sharing portion, but it was a little too zesty for my liking. Chicken enchiladas were a great size portion, with plenty of shredded smoked chicken and cheese. Ordered the cornbread as well, and that was good, had a just a hint of jalepeno. The brisket was decent, just a little too much bbq sauce and a little over charred. Old fashion was really good, had kind of a chocolatey tasting bitters, though it was a quite lightly poured. Overall the food was good, and it's a good spot to grab a bite with coworkers.

Yelp
We stopped by the Corner Restaurant for brunch on a rainy day, drawn in by their indoor seating. The location is excellent, and the ambiance was warm and inviting. I ordered the avocado toast, which came topped with pepitas--simple but delicious. I also had a mimosa that was perfectly balanced. The presentation of the food was lovely, and overall, the experience was very pleasant. I'd definitely come back for another meal!

Yelp
Corner is at a great location to stop in for lunch if you're attending business meetings or conferences at the JW. Its right within the hotel. With that it is on the pricier side. The food was very good. We started with the chips and guac and then ordered the short rib tacos and salmon. The salmon was very tasty but did have a kick to it. The tacos were on the smaller side and were only the tacos (no side of rice, etc.) which seemed pretty expensive for just 3 tacos. Overall, its a cute restaurant with a nice patio in a convenient location and service was very good. Just a tad on the pricier side for what you get

Yelp
Usually when I stay at JW Marriott I enjoy stepping out for dinner, unless I'm not in the mood to walk anywhere, I'll have dinner at the hotel Corner Restaurant. I must say there isn't a bad meal on their menu. The one big shoutout is the Wagyu Burger. Heads up it's 2 patties that melt in your mouth. The bun is warm and soft....it was one of the best burgers I've had in a very long time. Enjoyed it a nice cold Pilsner beer.

Yelp
Went here for a work dinner and it was very lively inside. Everyone seemed to love their drinks and food. And service was prompt and friendly. I had the old fashioned and the beef short rib. Both were wonderful. The beef short rib fell off the bone, the carrots were sweet from being caramelized and the grits rounded out the dish. Will be coming back here again.

Yelp
I was staying at the JW Marriott and ate here twice since it's attached for a quick meal/snack. Lunch: we had the chicken sandwich which was good but the fries were very salty. The experience was saved by the wait staff bc he was nice and helpful. Late night snack: we decided to give the place another try on the night before leaving the hotel for some late night snacks and drinks. The food (queso and guacamole, with chips) were fine (nothing special) but we could not get the waiter to come back after the food was dropped off. This is around 11pm so not super busy and we really only needed him to bring us our checks. After trying to get his attention multiple times we finally gave up and I had to walk up to the hostess to ask for the check. It was a disappointing experience.
google avatar

Andrea L.

Yelp
It's been 3 weeks since being here and I can't stop thinking about this dish. I had the Wagyu Short ribs. The short rib was tender and close to perfection. Now, what really shocked me were the carrots. These were the best cooked carrots I've ever had and this is what keeps me thinking of this dish. I'm definitely coming back. Also, the burnt ends appetizer was amazing along with the guacamole and chips.

Yelp
First time visit here. It was a pretty chill spot. We went for a lunch and got the queso blanco which was really good. It was a big portion so we decided to take the rest home. I had the ceased salad and it came with these delicious cornbread croutons!! I could have ate those by themselves. My husband had the chicken fried chicken burger and he said it was ok. We definitely would come back.

Yelp
While in Austin for the weekend I went to Corner located in the beautiful JW Marriott hotel . On the day we went to this restaurant Texas was playing Michigan so they were a lot of people eating , drinking and watching the game . This restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating. We opted to sit inside . The restaurant is pretty large so it fits more than enough people . If I had to guess I would say 300. Now we were seated right away . The menu at the time catered to brunch . I opted for the tacos which were delicious. The sides are ordered separately so I stuck with the tacos .We also ordered the burger which was also really good and that came with a side of fries . The manager Sergio was very kind and midway through our meal he informed us on all the items of the menu . And upcoming events the corner has lined up . Let me tell you if you can please pass by for their taco Tuesday . It sounded like something you can't miss . This restaurant was a great lunch choice . If I ever come back to Austin I will be back to try more delicious items . Until next time .

Yelp
Best french fries I've had in a while. It's not on the menu but the server immediately put in an order for me. Drinks and food are typical for a restaurant downtown. We came here after having drinks on Edge Rooftop on a weeknight and they were able to seat us right away. The tres leches dessert could have been more moist but it was the perfect sweetness.

Yelp
Corner was a real surprise to me! I expected it to just be okay and overpriced based on other reviews on Yelp and the fact that it's located in a hotel, but it was remarkable. It's a beautiful restaurant with an even more beautiful patio. First off, the drinks. My friend overwhelming said that this margarita was one of, if not THE best drink she has ever had. I admit after tasting it, it was pretty darn good! We also ordered the Spicy Guac to start. Delicious!! For entrees, my friend ordered the Corner House salad and loved it! I had the Short Rib Taquitos. They were very yummy. I couldn't believe the portion size, particularly for the price. It was a really busy night, so understandably our service was a tad slow. The bartender, though, knows how to make a drink! He was great. We truly raved over our experience here for our whole trip. Don't be fooled by the location or other reviews, it's a solid option when in this area and a must visit for the margarita!
google avatar

Ashley M.

Yelp
I don't know how we ended up here after specifically setting our hearts on Indian food but it was still I forgot to get a picture of the taquitos; but they were fire! I forgot the name of these drinks but they were strong as hell and I'm not a fruity drinker. I have the stomach and tolerance of a thug! The environment was very chill the service was fast and friendly. I would definitely recommend as a nice spot to come chill with friends after work.
google avatar

Kate F.

Yelp
A colleague and I came here very late after missing dinner. We decided to grab some appetizers and drinks. Even though the restaurant was crowded our server was still attentive. She recommended a drink, which was not as I expected (it was spicy), and was very accommodating about replacing it for no charge when I said I didn't like the spice. I've never sent a drink back before and I was pleasantly surprised she took it off the bill. We had shrimp ceviche, which was good, but not what we expected. It was diced shrimp, almost like a salsa, served with chip, and we had queso. Both dishes were tasty and came quickly. Austin has so many great restaurants in not sure this would be my first choice, but it's great as a bar option.
google avatar

Whitney W.

Yelp
It's a typical hotel restaurant and bar. If it's a nice day it the outdoor bar is decent. I needed to get a quick bite in the morning before starting my day. Over priced coffee and fruit cup made for an expensive little breakfast. Half a cup of fruit that seemed like it had been left out to dry for some time was $10? I was a little surprised. The server was depressed. I wouldn't bother to go here unless you have to for convenience

Deborah O.

Yelp
Green hatch chili enchiladas were incredible! Great atmosphere and service. Will return!
google avatar

Joanna M.

Yelp
There is some metered street parking or you could park at the hotel. It is a big open space with a few different options for seating. It was a little darker/lower lighting in the bar area. We were seated quickly. Our waitress was friendly, knowledgeable about the menu and very attentive. The food was good though a bit pricey. The smashed potatoes were my favorite part, the steak was decent.

C G.

Yelp
Nice ambiance. Food wasn't great :/ we ordered the burnt ends which were extremely tough, we couldn't eat them. Ordered the guacamole which, my fault for not reading the ingredients, was wayyyy too spicy. The tuna was flavorless. The only thing we loved was their corn bread.
google avatar

Ike S.

Yelp
Stopped in to have a drink and catch some olympics. The place was lively with patrons both inside and outside. We decided to sit at the indoor bar and enjoy the AC. The drinks were good, and the first bite of my brisket taco made me nervous as all I tasted was meat and tortilla. I'm glad I didn't give up! The next bite had what I was looking for. The sauce had the perfect kick and went well with the brisket. The pickle onion, which I'm not usually a fan of, was a nice addition. Service was on par for bar seating.
google avatar

Rinku I.

Yelp
Awesome place , would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Austin. Great location , great vibe , clean place & friendly staff. The service was prompt . Food was flavorful. Can't go wrong with this place.

Yelp
After returning to Austin after a decade-long hiatus, I was very discerning in choosing a wonderful place to have my final breakfast of 2023. It was a tie between Corner Restaurant and one other joint to win our breakfast decision, and boy, am I glad we went here. Parking garages galore nearby meant for a simple, no-fuss walk in the absolutely perfect weather. We'd made a reservation for 11:15, though I don't feel we needed it. We were warmly greeted and sat at a neatly set table. Maha was our server and she knocked it out of the park, anticipating our needs and even giving me a hookup on syrup to add to my iced latte, which was very good. We ordered avocado toast, which ended up being just okay. Be sure to add some salt and pepper to it; that's as good as it will get. Wish the bread it was on was toasted a tad more, but I'll let it slide because... Our mains were impeccable. Literally every component was perfectly executed. And, look, I won't lie to you. This hotel restaurant isn't reinventing the wheel or blowing your mind. But I can guarantee that whatever you order will be the best it can be. My wagyu brunch burger was cooked perfectly, from the bacon, to the meat, to the egg, to the toasted bun. Their breakfast potatoes are perfectly seasoned with some dill that adds some well-needed brightness. The eggs Benedict was nigh-on-perfect - the cook on the eggs could have been a little runnier to achieve that perfect *burst* but I will let these small hiccups slide considering Maya's impeccable service, the 5-Star cleanliness, and the spectacular atmosphere. An incredibly solid choice and all things considered, fairly priced.

Yelp
Attached to our hotel this was a great meeting spot and just a nice place in general with really friendly staff and servers. Huge inside and they had a nice outdoor area too. Visited here 3 times while in Austin. First night as we got in late and didn't feel like going back out we just grabbed a quick dinner luckily they stay open til 1am on weekends. We just sat at the bar and had the shrimp tacos , steak tacos and the queso and chips between 3 of us. All packed to the brim tacos! Nice and tasty and the grilled shrimp being my favorite. The chips were good and fresh too. Great quick service too. Oh and fries! Yes ! Great late night eating ! We went back one night for a drink. Just a glass of bubbly and sat outside. The day we left we grabbed a quick cappuccino before. Which was really good and woke me up ! All in all a great place for all things food and drink. Great varied menu and they do Sunday brunch too. Open late so that's great for hotel guests. Always nice to have a good place at your hotel.
google avatar

Ashly H.

Yelp
Great service. Great food! I recommend the cornbread and the hamburger! Ambience is great as we could watch sports while we ate. Prices are just a little high since it's in a hotel so of course you will be charged about three times the price for alcohol. Nighttime ambience is my favorite. Going to try to sit outside next time.

Yelp
our first Thanks giving Day many shop closed. Finally we choosed this restaurant in the JW Marriott Austin. We ordered All tests Good.
google avatar

Rita L.

Yelp
Grilled flat iron steak is good :) friendly staff and lots of seats! still good to reserve table ahead of time so they can prep and get you seated faster. Food to a bit of time so prepare to wait a bit or ask them to bring anything that's ready out first.
google avatar

Tiffany T.

Yelp
What a cool spot in downtown Austin! We sat at the bar last Wednesday and had the most amazing bartenders. My husband had the smash burger and he said it was one of the best burgers he's ever had. I had the 7 layer salad. It was delicious as well and the presentation was fabulous! The outside patio is fun and the inside is nice and classy. Great staff. I definitely recommend this restaurant.
google avatar

Mike S.

Yelp
Fine little corner bistro in downtown Austin. Connected to the JW Marriott hotel. There is a nice large outdoor seating area. We were there for drinks and some appetizers. Service was excellent, and they have a great cocktail menu. It was fairly crowded and we actually met some really cool people from Spain while we were there.
google avatar

Kendra S.

Yelp
One of the only places downtown that I know consistently carries Meanwhile sour on tap! Unfortunately, if you go for brunch, and you want to sit outside, make sure you are dining at the restaurant and not the bar! Maybe someone was having a bad day, but they don't serve anything with black coffee on the bar couches and it might just be the worst coffee you've ever had. Our server seemed miserable to be there, but handled all of our adjustments on the order to a tee and we had three amazing(!!) meals. I almost want to get food from there to go! The hostess and the inside staff remain remarkable though. That's what got them a 4th star instead of 3. I've also had the ceviche before, you won't regret it.
google avatar

Alexandria M.

Yelp
You're probably wondering how a restaurant inside of a hotel managed to achieve such a high rating.... I'm happy to report after going to see for myself- I totally understand! The establishment was incredibly vibrant and busy but that didn't stop our table from being greeted almost immediately. The open kitchen concept was fascinating and food exceeded my expectations for any hotel food! Our server (Lauren) was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu items. You'll notice the menu is a sort of Texas fusion that surprisingly works very well. Hats off to the chef (and the staff) of this location- can't wait to return!
google avatar

Olivia R.

Yelp
This is a great lunch spot on a hot sunny afternoon. The food was really good - lots of fresh flavors. We sat outside in the bar area (it's seat yourself in the bar area). The spicy guac was super good. The service was also good (our server looked like Jake gyllenhaal) and the food came quickly but not too quickly to the point where it feels like they're trying to get you outta there. I wish I could give it a 4.5 because I don't think it's quite 5 material but 4 seems a bit too low.
google avatar

Laurel Z.

Yelp
Great spot to try all the different cuisines of Texas. Highly recommend the cornbread and the 7 layer salad. Also (not pictured) but the taquitos were pretty incredible too.

Taylor W.

Yelp
Service was great! The burnt ends were unreal. Great queso as well, big chunks of chorizo if added. The red snapper and wagyu burger were both really good - burger is 2 thinner patties but filling with fluffy butter bun. Will definitely be back! Great ambiance and vibe, glass of wine in the booth by the window made for a great date night!
google avatar

Ron A.

Yelp
Wanted a place to sit with air conditioning on a 95+ degree day. This fit the bill. Well done drinks and friendly service.
google avatar

Amy F.

Yelp
Swanky place in downtown serving American. Loved the clean vibes, there's also couches outside whenever the weather is good. Outside doesn't really have seating for big groups but can handle the more intimate 2-4 Cornbread was pretty standard. Austin Tea Party was great! My favorite thing. The salmon was tasty, I loved the crispy part which is also where the sauce is the strongest. I'm not the hugest fan of salmon so it's not worth the $30 for me personally but overall it was tasty. Service was amazing and always made sure we were doing good
google avatar

Soorin P.

Yelp
Food is good, service is good, vibes are good! Love coming here whenever I'm in Austin.
google avatar

Kim N.

Yelp
Had an amazing brunch on St. Patrick's Day 2024. The service was incredible and I highly recommend asking for a table on the bar side so you can watch the parade of food as plates are carried from the kitchen. It was a bit chilly as we were sitting under an AC vent. We will definitely be back to try more things on the menu.
google avatar

Christine T.

Yelp
Corner food and service especially from our waiter, Matt, was five star--all day, any day. He's legit as is the queso, salad, and short rib taquitos. The price point was no problem and we left feeling full but not miserable and in a great head space to finish our day. The only reason for knocking a star off was the hostess (and literally Matt and the food offset her awfullness). We walked in prior to the lunch crowd and I said "please do not seat us next to kitchen." She guided us next to thee closest booth to the kitchen. We declined. My hubby then asked for a certain booth and she ignored him and tried to put us in the windy doorway. By now, I was annoyed and ended up picking our own table which was NOT the one next to the waiter station like where she wanted us to be. Btw, I saw and noted other customers experiencing her same controlling table sitting. I saw them throw down and her rolling her eyes. The last thing I wanted on my first trip to Austin was the hostess police. Corner, your other employees and well-being depend on your hostess being respectful and making your guests feel welcome. Do something, say something. Matt, you rock.
google avatar

Ginger R.

Yelp
The staff was friendly. Food was decent. Hard to get a burger wrong. Wasn't too keen on the Caesar dressing, but it was a salad, bro. Hubby thought his fries were a lil salty. Cornbread was yummy with a little jalapeño kick (I think)! Great atmosphere and location.

Yelp
I liked it! The restaurant is located inside the JW Marriott, but it has a nice ambiance to it. The lights are dimmed inside, and the space has an open layout to it. There is both outdoor and indoor seating, but I did indoors because of the weather. I was able to get a table right by the window, so I had a great view of the downtown scene. The service was great. Our server was very attentive and made great recommendations. He recommended the skillet cornbread as their most popular appetizer, and it did not disappoint. I'm not a huge fan of cornbread, but I made the exception for this one, and I'm glad I did! It was very fluffy, had bits of zucchini, and was very moist. It was not heavy or dry at all, and it had a bit of sweetness to it. I would give it an 8/10. Next, I had the chipotle honey salmon. The salmon was cooked to perfection, and the mixture of sweet potato, snap peas, and the lime crema was so refreshing. It was also a large portion. My partner had the wagyu burger, which was also cooked perfectly and had great flavor. The fries were shoestring style, and they were a tad crispy, which I liked. Pricing is average for a downtown upscale restaurant. As for parking, there is only garage parking, but it is pricey and not validated by the restaurant. I came here because of their 4.9/5 star rating on Google Reviews, but while I liked the restaurant and food, I would not give it that rating. Nevertheless, I would recommend it for a date night or night out for drinks with friends. 8/10 overall!

Yelp
Had some friends in town who reserved us a reservation at the Corner. We arrived and the space is in the heart of downtown so be sure to come ready to valet or park and walk from elsewhere because there is not a lot of readily available parking around. There is a large outdoor bar space and a beautiful indoor bar space as well. The place itself is massive, lots of seating and really pretty interior. We checked in 10 minutes before our reservation and ended up waiting about 25 min past the time of our reservation to be seating when it looked like there were plenty of open tables. The hostess was not even apologetic but rather annoyed that we were getting antsy - not to mention we were on a tight timeline to attend a show later that evening. When we were finally sat the waiting staff was nice, but food service was not super efficient. All that to say the food itself was delicious. The spicy guac is super spicy but delicious so if you like a kick this is for you! And I had the chicken and brisket tacos which were great in flavor as well, though the brisket taco was cold. Might come back and check out the happy hour, not overly impressed but the food and drinks were good.

Yelp
Not sure how anyone gave this place less than 5 stars. Atmosphere and food was out of this world. Our waiter was the man. Everything we ate was cooked perfectly. Drinks came out quick! Great spot in a great hotel.
