Corner Slice

I’ve been going on a Bay Area Pizza tour and have come across what the critics say have been the best - Rose and Emilia’s in Berkeley, June’s in West Oakland, Outta Sight and Jules in SF, and AK Pizza in Seattle(not Cali, but hey, it’s still a pizza tour!) I am astounded by Joe’s hospitality and kindness as I came to pick up my two pies on a late Sunday afternoon. The overall vibe of the pizza joint is like an 80’s 90’s kid bedroom meets pizza place in the most awesome way possible - like walking into a Blockbuster or Hollywood Video turned Pizza Joint. The dough of Corner Slice felt 85% NY and 15% Neapolitan to me - thin and crispy, but with a slight breadier feel. It allowed you to enjoy the thinness of a NY slice and the dough quality of a Neopolitan. When eating the crust, it legit felt like a unique and faint Parmesean sourdough bread feel which attests to the quality of the dough. The real winner here is the Hot Honey and Burrata pizza.. my God, this was sweet and savory heaven. The owner uses Zabb’s which is a premium brand, and the flavor profile is the perfect blend of sweet and savory. This was slightly sweeter than most HH and Burratas I’ve had, but it was awesome that way. If you’ve had stratiacella on a crostini before it felt a bit like that with a mix of savory pepperoni. I loved this pie so much. Some feedback on the mushroom pie: it didn’t really quite hit the mark for me sadly - even with the sausage and garlic add-on, I felt like the flavor was one note and missing something. I felt like the sauce was just extremely lackluster and needed more oomph. The dough was still consistent and excellent, however. However, that doesn’t takeaway from the awesomeness of this shop and its owner. Joe is an awesome guy and I can’t wait to head back and support him. It is worth the pre-order and waiting game. There’s lots of pizzerias in the Bay Area and each one has a unique story and owner with a passion to share their craft, and indeed, Corner Slice is one amazing shop.

I mistakenly placed an order a week ahead thinking I was placing an order for the night of. When I arrived to pick up the pizza and realized it was for the following Friday, Kam and Joe were SO kind enough to tell me they could still make my pizza. We got the Hot Honey X Burrata. From the customer service to the taste of the pizza I can’t recommend this place enough ◡̈ thanks again!!

Yep, the burrata hot honey one is worth whatever effort it takes to get it. For us, it was the drive out from San Francisco. The crust was perfectly crispy and thin. We will be back for more.

This is by far the best pizza I’ve had in California. The owners are also some of the nicest people around as well! Definitely should stop by here!

Shout out to Corner Slice Pizza in Livermore. I kept an article from the Patch about this Pizzeria and finally went this last Friday night. The door sign said closed but the owners were the sweetest. Took our order and we came back 30 minutes later. The Pepperoni was cooked perfectly as the Patch article stated. We also had the Italian sausage and it was fresh from the local butcher shop in town. We can’t wait to come back and try the Burrata X Hot Honey. Go check them out and support this amazing find.

I had heard about Corner Slice through a mural contact but had not had the chance to get it that way before. Now, I am very sad I have not gone sooner. This place is by far and away the best pizza I have had since moving to CA nearly five years ago. I have a group of friends where we pick a city and then visit to only eat pizza and try to find hidden gems. In my time in the Bay area I have visited over 40 pizza places in the search for the best slice. Previous top contenders were Golden Boy, Bibo's, Slice House, and Tony's Pizza Napoletana. All of those have great pies, but the two we had today at Corner Slice put them to shame. I don't think I can make the 2-hour round trip often, but I will now find any excuse to head over the Bay to grab some of this amazing pizza. Now that one of the only negative reviews starts they weren't open during business hours, but this is a two person restaurant and they only stay open until they run out of dough each day. I talked with the owners/chefs and they said they can only make about 40-50 pies a day based on how they prepare the dough. I see this as a positive as you know you are getting fresh pizza. Like Chicago Voting, go early and often!

Yum, yum, YUM. Been here a few times at this point- been returning for a reason. If you’re looking for a good ol pizza with vibrant flavors, a must. Their pizzas definitely have a twist, crust is nice and fluffy and you can’t go wrong with any of their pizzas. Personal go to, Peppa Pig + Italian sausage + hot honey; yes has a kick tastes so good even without. Solid place to hang out as they offer games to enjoy with friends and loved ones. If you’re picking up definitely order ahead. It’s not fast food, it’s good food

Best pizza place in the bay area! I got to eat the shroom dealer at my neighbor's place and it was great. I got one myself today and it was beyond perfect! DO NOT ... I REPEAT ... DO NOT MISS THEIR SHROOMS PIZZA! You'll know why I am using CAPS after you devour one of these delish pizzas! Everything about this place is cool! I am glad they make amazing pizzas. Go grab one today. Beyond that, the folks running it are super nice and the place is cozy and a local fav. Update (multiple times as recent as 02/01/2025): They are still the best! This is one place that I'd sacrifice chains for. Every pizza I have tried is A++

A Local Gem Worth Lining Up For Man, did I hit the lotto finding this local pizza gem! Corner Slice is one of those rare spots you stumble across and immediately know you're coming back. Here's the deal: they only serve slices for lunch, and it's strictly first-come, first-serve until they sell out. They make a limited amount each day, so if you want to guarantee you get in on the magic, do yourself a favor and show up before they open. Trust me--totally worth it. Then they are open for dinner, but it's pre-order whole pies only!! The quality is phenomenal. Thin, beautifully crafted slices with a crispy crust that hits that perfect balance of crunch and chew. And on top of that, the staff is super friendly--the kind of people who make the whole experience even better. If you're a pizza person--and honestly, even if you're not--you owe it to yourself to check this place out. Must try, and I'm pretty sure you'll be back

I ordered 2 pies for a Halloween Friends Meet UP. It was so easy online, luckily I did it a week in advance. Friendly owner even added Veggies I missed when I originally ordered via e-mail. We did take out...so no experience with the shop. They were very efficient and friendly. Sadly no pie pictures...but there are many existing, they looked like that. We had a Sausage, Bell Pepper, and Mushroom , and a Cheese. Huge Pies...sadly they needed some time in the oven since we live 15 minutes away, so they were not in tip top condition. They were delicious anyway...and a super big hit. Love this Shop.

My mom and I just stopped in to grab a slice, but they were sold out so we decided to order a whole Peppa Pig Pie instead. It ended up being off the hook delicious! The crust had a perfect texture : light and airy, with just the right amount of crispness. The pizza wasn't overloaded with cheese or sauce either; it was perfectly balanced, flavorful, and super satisfying without feeling heavy. The owners were also incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. Love supporting my fellow Pacific Islanders! Definitely rivals some of my favorite pizza spots in the city! Will be back next time I visit my folks!

Looooove this place but it's literally always closed. Every time I crave pizza and look to see if they're open, they're closed... I've never seen a pizza place closed so often!! So unfortunately I stopped trying to go as often - haha. They say the peppa pig is Bay Area's best pizza and I would have to say it's up there! Just be open more often, Corner Slice. Your community needs you ~~~~ come on!

What a cool pizza place!!! The service was super friendly and we got there right when the opened so we could order a whole pie for the kids. What can I say, the pepperoni pizza was awesome. But we are going to come back and try their cheese pizza and their sausage. The whole pie took about 40 min to cook but I highly recommend getting this option if folks are hungry! Sliced were coming out fast so no worries if people are hungry immediately. The place is really cute inside and ample parking (I'm looking at you pizza places in SF!) can't wait to come back!

The best pizza in Livermore and probably the Bay Area. They really focus on a perfect pizza with great tasting sauce, crust and add ins. You won't regret trying this place

4.5 stars, definitely lives up to the hype. ORDERING - keep track of their hours and order ahead (at least a few days) if you can. Note that they can only make so many pizzas at a time so the slots fill up quickly and often you can't just walk in and order. If you are placing an order for 3+ pies you have to call to place your order instead of doing it online. PARKING - no issues, it's in a random strip mall area close to costco in livermore. ATMOSPHERE - we like coming here with our kids because they have little games like jenga, bowling, mini basketball for the kids to entertain themselves before they get food or afterwards. They have one lower picnic style table and then high tops but it seems like most people do take out instead of eating there. I didn't see any high chairs. They also have a TV playing something usually and music to make the place lively. FOOD - for 2 kids and 4 adults we got 3 pizzas, which was definitely enough. Their slices are large and the pizza comes out fresh/hot so eat it right when you get it otherwise it starts to lose its crisp. The pizza is similar to a new york style thin crust pizza with a crispy crust that holds up when you hold it, the end crust is slightly chewy with a crisp/crunch and their toppings are very good. I will say that sometimes it is a little on the saltier side and I drink a lot of water afterwards but definitely worth it. The fan favorite is their hot honey burrata pizza. I personally like the peppa pig but with sausage or their mushroom one is also good. Overall, great pizza and everyone is always a fan.

Believe the hype. Honestly one of the best slices I've had anywhere, much less locally. Pre-ordering online is the way to go for a whole pie; ours was fresh right out of the oven and devoured almost instantly. Planning to go back for slices for lunch as well.

I am not a pizza person so we don't normally go to a pizza joint unless necessary. However my son really want to try this place so as a good mom I agreed. ONE OF THE HEST PIZZA I HAVE HAD!!! We heard some pizza sell out quick so we arrived just before it opened. There are games around so kids can be entertained as well. A bit noise with a big TV, but that is expected for a pizzeria. Service was good and we got some recommendations. Yummy is all I can say! The crust was thin enough but not too thin for people like me who enjoy the dough as much as toppings... sometimes even more than the toppings. The toppings are generous and fresh. Not too cheesy but perfect. This will be the pizza place I will gladly saying yes to!

Delicious! We had heard about all the raves before actually trying here. The ingredients are so fresh and we ordered the BURRATA X HOT HONEY and it did not disappoint. The crust was crispy, the hot honey was popping, and the cheese was melty! They are at a little spot off airway and the ambiance was skater vibes with decorative mural walls. I was immediately greeted warmly when I walked in and left a happy pizza eater.

Ever since I heard about this place from co-workers, I knew I had to try it & it did not disappoint! Kam & Joe are very friendly! The pizza has the perfect texture. My personal favorite is the Peppa Pig (Pepperoni). Hawkstyle (a limited time specialty slice they had) was unbelievable as well. The atmosphere is nice. There's a reason why I try to come here every week before I start work. It's my favorite pizza place as of now. If you haven't tried this place, what are you waiting for? Try it!

Best pizza ever. Crust is light and airy with that fire roasted flavor. Not too much cheese, ingredients fresh. I love how they shred fresh cheese on too as well.

If you want a light lunch and crispy pizza slices, this is the place for you! This was a cool retro-themed joint with simple seating, VHS tapes as decor, games, and an arcade cabinet. The pizza menu is quite simple with several variaties as well as selling a limited quantity of slices. I ordered a couple slices and a bottled water (not realizing there's free water near the entrance, slick). The slices looked so appealing, and tasted great! I loved the thin crispiness of the crust so much that nothing was left behind. Speaking of which, the slices were BARELY oily, soggy, or flimsy - quite impressive! To pull this off, it seems that there isn't much sauce on the slices; you'll need to fork over $1 for a side cup of pizza sauce if that's your preference. I'll definitely be back to try their other pizzas, and hopefully they will have beer to go with it all!

Really loved this place. Not only did the thin crust have a crust with a crust that was insanely flavorful but the owners are super nice. My favorite was the burrata x hot honey which is a must try. Then probably the shroom dealer with the recommended add-ons. All of them overall were delicious and is better eaten fresh/hot. The ingredients they use are super fresh and you can really taste the quality of the products they use. If you have a large order just make sure to call in and they can accommodate you with a pick up time. Would definitely go back again!

Crust was very burnt and inedible. For the price point, would have expected a slice that could be eaten whole, as opposed to only the non-crust portion.

Local gem run by a lovely couple ' Customer service was supreme and each slice of pizza was truly amazing ! The crust has a crispy exterior and a great fluffy interior topped with the perfect ratio of topping ! Love the idea of slices for sale at lunch so you can savor the different flavors! Corner Slice sits in the old Fratellos location, and is using the pizza oven for good, not evil. The Wife and I stopped by, and found the games and surroundings amusing. We ordered one pie, half cheesus crust, and half with mushrooms. It only took about ten minutes, since no one else was there. After we played some Connect Four, the pizza emerged, smelling perfect. The crust was just like we Easterners prefer, thin and crispy. The sauce was a bit sweet to my taste, and The Wife agreed, but not a big problem. I'm also not a huge fan of Parmesan on top of the mozzarella, but that seems to be standard today. Overall, we were very pleased, and will return. The price was a bit dear ($30 for basic 18 inch pie), so maybe not often.

I initially came here in person over a month ago in August, but forgot to take a photo so I didn't write a review then. I ate an entire half of a 18 inch Italian sausage pizza then and was so engrossed in eating the pizza I ended up being 2 minutes late to Inside Out 2 at the theatres. Whatever the pizza and this establishment is better than that movie in my opinion, hahaha. This place is run by a family and the place looks great with fabulous decorations. Anyways today we picked up a Pesto Potato Pizza with garlic added (and sausage for a portion of it). The pizza tastes sooooo good. I am definitely making this place one of my favorites of the Tri-Valley.

Best pizza ever! From the amazing thin crust to the premium quality ingredients. DELICIOUS! And i love the fact that i can order a slice of any of their pizzas i fancy at that moment. Copious slices for just $5.50. And just the name of their pizzas already wets the appetite totally: SHROOM DEALER, CHEESUS CRUST, PEPPA PIG, ITALIAN SAUSAGE, VEGGIE CLUB, BACON MUSHROOM. Delicious pizza, the base was perfectly crispy, not too much cheese and yummy sauce. We had a vegetarian pizza. Will go back again for some more yummy pizza.

Greatest pizza I've ever had. period. Light, fluffy, crunchy, perfect base, absolutely yummy sauce, cheese crunch oh my goodness yum drool, yum yum gotta go again!! unreal yummy! And such a nice clean place and the folks running it were so nice as well! 10 stars out of 5!

Great pizza just had the slices but they are fresh hot and delicious. Nice family run operation. Pizza tastes like real food instead of junk food great ingredients and lots of cheese. This is a winner highly recommended!!!

Kam and Joe are two of the hardest-working people with the biggest hearts, and it really shows in every pie they make and the community they're building. Wow, what a wonderful spot in Livermore!! Such a great vibe and ambiance along with such warmth from owners. And THE PIZZA...WOW!! We ordered by the slice to find out what flavor profiles we liked the most and started with a Peppa Pig and a Jalapeño, Sausage, and Peppa, both drizzled with hot honey. I have missed these high-quality and authentic flavors; so fresh and crunchy without feeling heavy. Got another slice, this time the sausage and garlic, and yet again, superb! Joe and Kami were so helpful; enjoyed talking shop with them and looking forward to a whole pie this coming week. Thanks so much; we found an amazing pizza spot with fantastic owners!

We're always disappointed when we can't pre-reserve a pizza. This place is so good. We often make plans around when we can get a pizza.

This pizza was really good. It was thin, crispy, good flavor, just the way I like it. I loved the freshly grated parmesan cheese on top. The only complaints I have, is when im eating this style of pizza I like a larger slice, and they don't have ranch. No ranch is crazy! A larger pizza (20 in) and some homemade buttermilk ranch easy makes this 5 star. This place is owned by a husband and wife that run it, and they were very nice.

Fantastic pizza and vibes. I went here for dinner where they were only serving whole pizzas. However, they do accommodate to choose a half and half option for specific pizzas. My partner and I had a half peppa pig half gabagool with added bell peppers. They were able to remove sausages on my gabagool which is sweet of them since I don't eat red meat. Vibes: super retro and fun! They had a lot of fun games to play for kids and adults. While we were there, many people approached the cook and cashier telling them how much they enjoyed their pizzas. This is a great pizza spot for all ages. A family celebrated a small birthday dinner for one of the kids and across the room a couple had a cute little pizza date. Highly recommend!

Crust to die for. Been a long long time since I've had crust like this. Toppings were great, fresh and generous but the crust was 100% spot on. I'll be back when I have an excuse, am in the area or remember how good this was.

We added some pepperoni to a Veggie Club. I could certainly see why so many people like Corner Slice however our pizza crust was overcooked. The burnt flavor over powered the flavor of the toppings and crust. We will probably give them another try.

What kinda crazy, nonsensical business model is this? 1) it's called Corner Slice, but only sells slices SOMETIMES, and only for two hours of the day. First thing I noticed walking into the place: NO SLICES. Make that make sense. 2) open random hours, and subject to be closed for the whole week...so don't just show up expecting them to be open like a normal business. I had to work for months to sync up my schedule with theirs, 3) closes in the middle of the day but not to insure that they can serve customers later...it appears to be a mere convenience. 4) if you walk into the store, 30 minutes after opening, you will be told if you order now, your pizza will be ready in 1.5 hours. WHAT? I'm not asking you to rotate my tires, I just want a pizza! 5) 30 minutes after opening, there was one angry looking guy in the place . He was NOT eating pizza. The place was otherwise empty. There was no one there eating food. This is not a business--this is somebody's hobby. I tend to patronize restaurants that allow me to eat when I want to, not when it's convenient for them to serve me. Since I have already gone out of my way just to try them and been foiled, doubt l will try again. Good luck but you suck!

The pizza is delicious. Thin crust = amazing pizza. We called and it was hard to get through. We went there and saw they were so busy. Pizza ordered in person, fast service, and benefit of amazing pizza!!!

Mind blown. The pizza, the store. Everything is perfect. The pizza is easily one of the top pizzas in the TriValley. Crust is something else, and a cut above most. The early 2000s feel complete with era contemporary pop brought a strong case of the feels for this millennial. The only thing I can't figure out is why there aren't more people trying to get this pie. All together, everything is firing on all cylinders. Excellent job!

I could see how this place could be good. Unfortunately, the day we went was not. First off, the good: 1) the place is cute! The decor - from the skateboard bench, to retro videos that stack the walls, is well thought of and artistic. 2) the thin crust and chewy dough. This is more subjective, but I enjoy thinner crust. Now to the areas of improvement. 1) the place is not family friendly. Do not bring your young children. The place has one bench and table where the kids could possibly sit safely, but if that's taken, good luck. The place has no high chairs and boosters. 2) now to the food. I don't mind (and appreciate) burnt dough here and there. It adds to the artisanal skills of the pizza maker and that it was made in a pizza oven. But if there are burnt specks all around. The first mouthful you get is burnt dough on the tongue. Unfortunately that did not go away after the first bite. 3) last but not least the service. If there are employees that are dusting off their nails or chatting, it usually a good indicator of what service you will get. Since the pizza slices were rather large for adults as well as children, we asked for a fork and knife to help cut the slices. They gave us one plastic knife and said they did not have anything else... We went to the car and got our own portable utensils lol One tip - (on the day we went) there is no AC. They have one fan near the open door. If there is a car that parks backwards and leaves his ignition on while he picks up his pizza, you will get a mouthful of carbon monoxide along with your burnt pizza bites. So try to sit elsewhere if you choose to eat in.

I heard about this place by a friend of mine and went try it discovered that the burrata hot honey pizza, is something else 100/10. The service is really good, they are nice and make you feel welcome. Is a good place the share with friends and family anytime.

A solid choice for thin n' crispy NY-style pizza in Livermore! The pies here are definitely on the pricier side, but the taste is worth it and the service is great! We visited for dinner and was recommended the Gabagool pizza ($36) by the woman who helped us, which comes with mozzarella, salami, lemon vinaigrette, pecorino, and a heaping of arugula. The pizza was great - I loved how thin and crisp the pizza was and how well the flavors blended together. Would definitely suggest eating this with a bunch of chili flakes! Some recommendations: a menu with a list of ingredients for each pizza! They have a lot of creative mixes, but without pictures or a list of ingredients it was hard to get an idea of what the pizza would look or taste like (unless you ask about each one). The ambiance of the restaurant itself is nice and pleasant - lots of seating around, with vintage vibes and games decorated around which makes it perfect for large parties or groups.

It's just the best! We do Friday night pizza every week with our family, and we LOVE their pizza. We all crave it and look forward to it every week. Not only that, but the owners are so kind and we love that we can support their business.

Best pizza spot in the Livermore/Dublin area hands down Ngl u can't even get a slice this good deep in the Bay Area. Fun environment Wonderful customer service And mannnnn this the real deal pizza, real authentic. Crust is always charred beautifully, flavors of the pizza always hit. Had the Gabagool, And Burrata.

Corner Slice is the coolest! Delicious New York-style pizza, super fun decor and friendly service. What's not to like? Well, there's one thing: They are across the street from my gym. Give them a try!

tl;dr: Corner Slice, the slice is nice. Slice, slice baby. My wifey had bookmarked Corner Slice a few weeks back. And of course, it took a night of drinking at an SBA lender networking event for me to finally stop by on my way home because I needed some pizza carbs to soak up that booze in my belly. Hidden in a strip mall on the opposite side of Cattlemens, and sharing a building with a Carl's Jr., the Kitty Hawk Plaza was hella' boring before Corner Slice decided to open up shop. I mean the other occupants consist of a credit union, pilates studio, physical therapist, and a nutritional shop. Now that Corner Slice has arrived and added spice and slice(s) to this strip mall, I bet you the patrons are going to end up chubbier, but a whole lot happier. After all, F that protein shake when you can have an awesome slice, or two, or three. Shoot, just order a whole damn pizza bro. For some reason Corner Slice reminded me of Sizzle Pie in Portland. Except, the pizza here is better because it is handmade and fresh. The pizza is New York-style and it is thin and doughy so that you can fold it and shove it in your mouth. I need to find my TMNT shirt for the next time I visit. I walked in at around 9 PM. If you come in earlier, they offer pizzas by the slice for $5. After looking at the menu, I decided to go with a whole Peppa Pig pizza, a giant 18" pizza with mozzarella, pepperoni and pecorino Romano cheese that was topped off with fresh basil. I had to wait about 15 minutes as they made the pizza from scratch. Better to wait for the food than the food to wait for you. As I waited, I was able to chat with the boss, Camille. Her employee, aka husband, was busy tossing the dough and making the pizza. When I see hardworking small business owners, I can't help but promote them. Not only are they a lovely couple, but they make even lovelier pizza pies. She added that they were working on getting some beers on tap. Now that would make Corner Slice even better and visitors to this plaza even more chubz... and happier! When I got home with the pizza, I was amazed at how tasty it was and how it wasn't greasy. The basil and pecorino Romano cheese toppings added a wonderful aroma and umami flavor and the pepperoni was so damn tasty. As the wife and I downed slice after slice, we were already thinking about the next time we would be getting a Corner Slice pizza. And yes, there will definitely be many more next times. Honestly, I've had a lot of pizza in the Bay Area. Whether it's the clam pizza at Golden Boy in SF, the over-rated vegetarian place in Berkeley where the only redeeming quality is the green sauce, Raymond's McMushroom pizza in Richmond, the heart attack-inducing Chicago-style pizza chains Zachary's and Patxi's, and even the pizza at Fieldwork. I have to say, Corner Slice is now my favorite. And to think, I've only had one pizza from them! I will need to try their other pizzas like the Shroom Dealer consisting of mushroom cream sauce with shitake, button, maitake, and portabella mushrooms or the Pesto consisting of pesto sauce with potato cream, pine nuts, pistachio and pecorino. Not sure why it took me this long to review but this place an absolute gem! From the impeccable service to the retro ambience to the amazing pizza what else can I say? Oh wait I can talk more about this pizzeria! Food: If you love thin New York slices, this is going to be your spot. The ingredients, the toppings, the crust is so so so good. I can't even complain about anything. I came during lunch and grabbed a slice of Shroom Dealer and Cheesus Crust. I was excited about shroom dealer since they rarely have it as a slice and wanted to try it. I'm glad I did because it just might be my favorite pie. I believe it's three kinds of mushrooms, mushroom cream sauce and garlic oil. Flavor!!! And my second slice was Cheesus Crust which is their cheese but dang it's so perfect. Service: The owners are so kind and welcoming, it makes you want to come back and chill. They're so happy and just want to share their delicious pizza with you. Ambiance: The nostalgia I feel whenever I'm here brings a smile to my face. They're always playing some 90's movie, there are retro video games (free to play) and tons of games. Come here you won't be disappointed unless you prefer a deep dish lol

My family and I just had the most incredible customer service experience at Corner Slice. Our son loves coming here not just for the awesome pizza, but also for the fun games and arcade machine. This is a small place run by two genuinely nice people, but they only have one pizza oven, so on busy nights (like Friday) you have to reserve a time to come eat/pick up. We didn't know this before showing up, and my son didn't understand it either, so he was understandably very disappointed. Joe and Kam saw this and invited us to stay and play games, and then went out of their way to heat up some slices (without us even asking or expecting). This is the epitome of customer service and made us feel like family. Thank you again guys. You have customers for life.
