Day passes start from £126 and include a round-trip speed boat from Cartagena, a seafront sun lounger, yoga, stand-up paddle-boarding and kayaking, plus a three-course à la carte lunch with some Coronas. For £379, it’s also possible to book a twin or king bungalow for two to stay overnight, making it sound like a solid option for a romantic getaway. Described as an ‘eco-protected natural paradise’, the island has been awarded a three-star plastic-free Blue Seal by conservation group Oceanic Global for eliminating single-use plastic, and it uses local ingredients for cooking, traditional building techniques and solar energy.
