The 16 Best Restaurants In Palermo - Palermo - The Infatuation

"This spot is run by a local Sicilian couple and has the feel of a high-end trattoria with the charm of a small family-run business, and the attention to detail usually reserved for generations spent in the service industry. They only use seafood that comes fresh off the boat in Terrasini near the Gulf of Castellammare, and the wine list, curated by the owners’ son, includes a solid selection of natural and traditional Sicilian bottles. The pasta al nero di seppia with cuttlefish and bottarga is the dish you need to order, but proceed with caution: Sicilian cuttlefish ink pasta has an intense black sauce that’ll stain everything, including your mouth." - linda sarris

How to Plan a Trip to Palermo, Italy

"A family-run trattoria beloved for seafood specialties, attentive service, and a curated Sicilian wine list; Sarris advises to “always listen to the recommendations from the staff; the specials of the day are often the best dishes, like pasta with cured tuna bottarga, lathered with super rich, black cuttlefish ink.” The restaurant’s wine pairings are a locally trusted feature." - Laura Itzkowitz Laura Itzkowitz Laura Itzkowitz is a writer and editor based in Rome. A truly enjoyable dining experience from Every perspective! Besides the menu selections there were a number of additional specials so we tasted several appetizers that were all scrumptious. We chose two pastas from the menu - a bucatini with sardines and spaghetti with cuttlefish and bottarga that were both delicious. We finished with the best cannoli either of us has ever had, a very generous serving to share. The wine selections are extensive and we asked for advice on a Sicilian wine to accompany our meal, and were thrilled with their recommendation. I HIGHLY recommend this restaurant and you need to book ahead, because it’s a popular establishment.

An amazing Trattoria with lots of story, family run. We had a great lunch, the fried sage leave was surprisingly good! We also had an amazing pasta, very good recommendations, and a great wine list. The service was also excellent and attentive.

Best dinner I had in Palermo, hands down. The restaurant serves outstanding fresh seafood, deeply rooted in tradition yet approached with a contemporary twist. The whole experience felt vibrant and authentic. The waiters and sommeliers were a real highlight—kind, attentive, and embodying true Palermitan hospitality. The raw seafood appetizers and the cannolo were unforgettable. Absolutely recommended.

This is one of the best restaurant I have eaten in during my time in Palermo. This cozy restaurant has an impressive wine selection. The food was great and I loved the raw prawns. The squid ink pasta was the only underwhelming dish, but well compensated by the excellence of others. Worth a visit.

The best place we went to in Palermo, where a dinner can last 3 hours and no one minds. Sophisticated yet accessible. We felt very welcomed by the warm people and cooled by delicious wine.

Lovely midsize restaurant a short distance from Via Labertà in a nice neighborhood. Clean, calm and attractive interior with prompt professional service and a wonderful menu. The food is very good, and the prices very reasonable! I wish I was hungrier when I went in! I shall return.
