"The historic space includes a quaint patio with regularly scheduled live music, a cozy neighborhood café, and a cocktail bar. The menu showcases a wide, yet cohesive blend of international influences. Start with the tempura oyster mushroom appetizer with pickled melon, green papaya salad, then move onto the wild boar birria bucatini." - Jackie Tran

What a delightful way to end our stay in Tucson. The welcoming entrance made us feel like we were in for something special. The main area has lots of wood with a well-stocked bar on the right. However, the outside patio is very light and airy, with an archway with live plants. Don't be intimated by the names of the foods on the menu. That is their signature and a way for their knowledgeable staff to interact with you. The food is excellent and beautifully served.

They have a beautiful patio to enjoy. There is a small room with tables, and I did notice a building across from the main one where you stand in line to order. Sorry, I didn’t realize at the time it is a dining room. Granola is tasty and the latte is also very good. We also had a waffle with berries that was devoured! The service folks were accommodating and friendly. We would return.

One of the first restaurants I visited during an extended stay in the Tucson area. Coronet offers a upscale, but relaxed dining environment (looks like the patio is a great option in the cooler months as well). Great cocktail program. The food was all excellent, we had the Shrimp Panisse and Oaxacan White Mole, both were great dishes representing the Southwestern dining cuisine. The Oaxacan White Mole stood out for the mole sauce that accented the mushrooms, great dish! The NY Strip and Seared Salmon were both excellent entrees. The Pot du Creme was a fantastic way to finish the meal. Nightjar is a great spot to grab a drink with friends with a creative cocktail program.

Sarah was our person and she was great. The food was so damn good. My Old Fashioned was delicious. Very cool interior.

Came here for two different dinner specials, Christmas Eve and New Year’s dinner. The service is fantastic. The food is over the top. We enjoyed everything we ordered from the beginning of the meal to the end. We will be back!

My foodie friend highly regards the Coronet Cafe. I had their breakfast waffle which was great while my friend has two poached eggs on a breakfast dish of veggies. An amazing architectural setting with many unique spaces for dining. Perfect for sitting outside and enjoying your meal.

I went there for the first time with our women’s group from Green Valley. They had been there before and thoroughly enjoyed it. As soon as I walked in I could see why! As we walk past the charming outdoor courtyard seating a friendly staff welcomed us to take our order. We chose to sit in the booths made of vintage headboards and our food was delivered quickly. My very fresh BLT was made on Bario bread, perfectly cooked bacon with minimal fat and served with a large salad. Breakfast, lunch or dinner…it’s a nice place. I’d definitely return.

My wife and I had a wonderful evening at The Coronet. We started in The Nightjar, their cozy side bar, where I had the “Rain in Spain” cocktail and she chose a lovely Spanish wine. After taking our drinks to the outdoor patio, we enjoyed the historic setting—it felt like the perfect break from our busy week. Once our friends arrived, we sat down to a menu that struck a great balance of protein and plant-based dishes. We began with beautifully executed small plates, each one full of flavor and texture, and yes—we happily asked for bread to soak up every last bit of sauce. Our entrées were equally impressive, from the hearty short rib to the Pearl Oyster Mushroom dish (a personal favorite). Every plate was thoughtful, generous, and perfectly prepared. The service was outstanding—attentive without ever being rushed, with impeccable timing throughout the night. Between the atmosphere, the food, the drinks, and the company, everything came together seamlessly. The Coronet is truly an absolute gem for our community, offering a refined yet relaxed dining experience that feels both special and welcoming. If you’re in downtown Tucson, it’s a must-visit.

Yelp
For an order at the counter cafe Coronet has charm and delicious food perfected. The staff were quick, knowledgeable, and friendly. Outdoor seating was perfect on a sunny day with umbrellas and plants to soften the glare. The Tuna Melt and Brisket & Brie were our choices. Both tasted great and I loved having the side salad with simple vinaigrette to offset the flavors.

Yelp
We had dinner here before seeing Jerry Seinfeld at the Linda Ronstadt Music Hall (formerly Tucson music hall) and I thought the food was excellent. I think the Yelp stars should be much higher than it currently is. I got the braised short rib and my husband got the trout. Both were excellent along with the mousse dessert. Atmosphere/ambience had a nice rustic old Pueblo feel, service was prompt and courteous, And food was wonderful! Every element was cultivated with thought and flavor. I highly recommend!

Yelp
After a failed attempt to find parking downtown, we headed over to Nightjar (thank goodness for a private parking lot) and ended up at Coronet Restaurant which is inside/behind/part of(?) Nightjar? I'm not actually sure to be quite honest. I do think a little more clarity would make for a better dining experience. We ended up ordering at the Coronet and taking a seat on the back patio which was really nice. It took probably 30 minutes to get our appetizer and entrees which felt a little long since there weren't too many people there. What made up for the less than stellar dining experience was the grilled cheese. I wish I had asked what kind of cheese they used exactly but it was delicious. The bread was perfectly toasted, so crispy and yummy. I might come back here to try Nightjar but otherwise, I wouldn't come back to dine again aside from the grilled cheese.

Yelp
We came here for dinner on a busy Saturday night and service was excellent. Cocktails: The Coronado: Well-balanced and surprisingly enjoyable, even though I typically don't like mezcal. Definitely the standout and the only one I'd order again. Summerhaven: Had a bitter aftertaste with a cloying finish--not for me. The Third Bird: Also well-balanced but just okay overall. Night Gardener: Tried it with added tequila, but it ended up tasting like straight tequila--not good. Food: Escargot Rockefeller: Very light and fresh, but I wish there had been more escargot. Steak Tartare: It was okay but lacked flavor and felt a bit plain. Salmon: The spiced red lentils were outstanding and masked the flavor of the salmon, which I didn't enjoy on its own. It was way too rare. I did not like the side of shishitos which were a large portion of the dish. The Hen: Absolutely delicious, and the sides were just as impressive. The Polenta Cake with cherries, pepitas, and bourbon whipped cream stole the show. It was so good that I'd come back just for dessert and drinks.

Yelp
Took in a second visit to this establishment just before the ballet. All the reservations that were available at the time were bar seats so we took them as it's a convenient walk to the Linda Ronstadt performing arts center. The Coronet has some things going for it - a casually intimate ambiance with a touch of Tudor slash apothecary decor and a creative menu. Wanna add that this is for dining indoors in the main bar area. Another detail of note is how dark it is inside. I'm not just saying this cuz I'm practically blind but I would have not ordered the havoc-wreaking on my stomach shishitos if I had known that they would take up half of the seared salmon small plate. And there were lentils on this plate? Minus the peppers, the salmon was nice. And the bartender even said, people either eat all the peppers or they don't eat them at all. Should be a sign, chef. To fill the void in my tummy I ordered the CHERMOULA ROASTED CABBAGE. If you love Brussel sprouts of straight up cabbage, this is a delicious must. The tepary beans, harissa lebneh, pine nut and sultana crumble was so yummy coupled with the roasted flavor of the cabbage. Washed down with a playful cava, my meal was a satisfying amount for going to the ballet afterward, not overly filling. Back to the darkness? Someone in my party had order a standard dirty martini that wasn't made correctly, admitted because the bartender had grabbed the wrong bottle. Not enough lighting with all those dark glass bottles? Food arrived at a nice clip. Service was a little cold and stand off-ish. After dinner, 2 of us noted this aspect of the service as we asked one another "did you think the service was kind of pretentious or snobby? Can't remember the exact word. Reminded me of dining in Seattle (that's not a compliment and Canlis doesn't fall under that generalization). I would eat here again if someone asked me, "hey, where can we go get a drink and a bite and make sure that the server leaves us alone and isn't too helicopter-y?" I have just the place. A little spendy but worth it for the food. Neighborhood parking or parkade near the convention and performing arts centers with a short walk. Indoor and outdoor seating available.

Yelp
One of the best meals I have ever had!! We tried the 5 course meal which was part of their tasting menu along with the pasta dish called Local Mushroom Pappardelle. It was amazing! There also bread to snack on from Barrio Bread and we had a bottle of Sangiovese. Our server Katie was super knowledgeable, kind, patient and funny. We sat outside in the patio with the misters on, music playing and overall a great vibe. Highly recommend!

Yelp
1st wedding anniversary! We have been here twice in our lifetime. It's always fantastic service. Our server was AMAZING and went over the menu with us and recommended really great items. We had a super intimate experience. We loved it so much and will continue to come here for anniversary dinners. It's on the pricey side but WELL WORTH IT!

Yelp
Great restaurant with very good professional service. To clarify you won't get a lot of banter with the staff but they'll make sure you're taken care of. The food was great, though not always what I expected. The escargot was creamy and had a strong veggie flavor to it. It kind of overpowered the escargot for me but I still enjoyed it. I got the braised pork pasta which was amazing, creamy yet light. Wish it had a little more pasta but I enjoyed it either way. The outdoor patio was very nice, they were dog friendly and had heaters for each table. They also have a cafe in the back.

Yelp
I absolutely loved everything that I ate here. I tried the oyster mushroom tempura from the starter menu and it was delicious~ they garnished it with some chili flakes to give it a kick and it was perfection. For my entree, I ordered the seared salmon which came with some shishito peppers. So delicious!

Yelp
I came to Coronet for dinner last night hoping to get a unique, vegetable forward meal. The restaurant delivered in spades! Here's a quick recap of my dining experience: Food: I actually ended up ordering a completely vegetarian meal, and it's been my favorite meal in Tucson so far. Standout dishes included the roasted cauliflower terrine, which was accompanied by two slices of Einkorn Miche bread from Tucson's James Beard Award winning Barrio Bread. I was also impressed by the tack room chocolate mousse, which came with a pecan tuile. Service: I sat at the bar and received satisfactory service from the bartender and other restaurant staff. Ambiance: Elegant with dark wood and tastefully playful decor.

Yelp
This is one of my favorite places in AZ. Everything about this little place is charming, unique, and tasteful. The menu is always distinctive and the service is consistently outstanding. Tonight, I was able to try 3/4 of the menu..... excellent! Sophisticated, complex and truly unique! I will likely be back tomorrow to try what I missed!

Yelp
If you love a good presentation when it comes to food, the Coronet is the place to go. We ordered a couple of appetizers to start off, and the flavors were unique and interesting! The beef carpoccio we ordered was pretty good and paired well with the mushroom. I can't remember what the second dish we had was, but it had a thick custard like texture (i think it was some type of pureed vegetables) decorated with fried thinly sliced potatoes and asparagus. Pair it with the bread and it was good, but not amazing. Dessert was probably the best part. Poached pear was warm and sweet, and paired really well with the icecream. We also ordered a brownie...but it was the size of a mini brownie so being shared amongst 3 people..we only had one bit of it. Prices are kind of expensive, and portions are on the smaller side. If you're into the food scene and into intricate flavors and presentation, this place is for you.

Yelp
Food was incredible!! My photos are completely lacking here but we sampled their Sonoran Restaurant Week menu and everything was delectable. The mock-tails were delicious and desert was absolutely divine. Service was 12/10, very friendly and perfect mix of being attentive, giving us space to enjoy our meal, and anticipate perfect timing. Will be back again to sample more menu offerings!

Yelp
In the heart of Old Town Tucson, in its most atmospheric area, this is one of the most unique restaurants we have visited in this city. The timeless décor of yesteryear, fused with its woodgrain façade, it is simplicity in itself, yet alluring in nature, encapsulating soul of and feel of the old, with an iconic clash between chic and classic and new. And the eats, well, they're almost if not as unique as the atmosphere. From some exceptionally fine wines and cocktails, and entrees worthy of gluten haters, vegans, and vegetarians, as well as meat lovers such as I. From Pâté De Campagne to Smoked Whitefish Rillettes, or from Angus Beef Tartare to Wild Boar Birria Bucatini, there is bound to be something here for everyone, regardless of predilections. This relaxing, quaint, and comfortable locale is easy on your wellbeing, relaxing and comfortable, superbly serviced and by any means considered incredible eatables! The food is terrifically prepared, served and devoured. A must visit while in Tucson... and if you are a local, lucky you.

Yelp
Had a breakfast bread and Americano. Very good. Americano was a bit small. Husband got drip coffee was very good. All the breakfast items that people ordered around us looked amazing. Service was adequate and friendly. Bathrooms were very clean. Very nice spot to sit and relax for morning coffee.

Yelp
I was looking forward to experiencing this Tucson classic. My party of 5 light eaters left hungry in spite of ordering full sized large plates and desert. The $38 quail dish likened a dollhouse miniature, its two carrots and almost an entire small turnip were not fully cooked. On flavor-the pork belly was interesting. Our medium rare steaks were medium / well, one composed mostly of fat. The exterior atmosphere was lovely we were especially happy not to be in the well worn dark interior environment. After the show we attended after dinner we were country we went out to dinner again!

Yelp
This is a solid, nice sit-down restaurant to treat the family. Our waitress nicely explained their seasonal menu. We had 3 starters: oyster mushroom tempura (light and nicely paired with the papaya salad and pickled melon), snails in the garden (with mixed veggies and sausage), and the smoked whitefish rillettes (a little heavier than the other 2 but went very well with the crostini). They all each had very different and unique flavors. We shared 2 entrees: herb crusted sea bass (great sweet shrimp seafood flavor and the risotto soaked up the bouillabaisse sauce nicely) and the wild boar birria bucatini (pasta had great texture and birria flavor did not disappoint). The food came out a little slower than we would have liked but it was not a huge deal.

Yelp
Classic Tucson restaurant and vibe. Indoor seating, classic patio seating with heaters all around. Our four top: Charcuterie board 4* Half Hen 5* Seafood chowder 3* Pork belly 4* Craft drinks 5* Service 5* Location is just south of Downtown. We are fans. I want to check out their bar next time.

Yelp
Unique, downtown restaurant with eclectic feel. The cocktails are very high-end and imaginative. The service is highly personalized and very attentive. The ambience is low lit dining with entertaining decorations. The food offers some delightful creations with innovative style. Would highly recommend.

Yelp
Wow- 1st visit to Coronet and I can't wait to return. My husband had the waffle and I enjoyed the poached egg breakfast. Food was delicious! I will say having to get up and fill your coffee and taking your utensils to your table after giving a tip, was ridiculous. Almost completely self serve. Worth returning for the food!

Yelp
I was so excited to come to the Coronet for dinner! We visit Tucson a few times a year because of family and we had visited the Meyer cafe prior and loved it. First off, it's stunning! Absolutely makes a great first impression. So much history and unique architectural features. The decor and furniture is on point and very interested to look at while you are dining. Eclectic yet not overly decorated. Our experience was mostly great! With a reservation at 6pm, we were first put towards the back next to the door which felt like an odd place because it was so far removed and very cold next to the door. It was only a quarter full so we had to request to move which seemed mostly okay. We started with the artichoke appetizer, an old fashioned & a virgin cocktail - which was very good! So happy to find a bar that offered a range of non alcoholic cocktails for this pregnant lady. We shared the wedge salad which was good and different and each got our own ribeye entre which was okay. We both thought the mushrooms were odd and quite chewy. We loved the potatoes but didn't quite have enough to finish and the steak was good. Overall, i recommend for a unique experience!

Yelp
Finally got to try out Nightjar/ (Mayer Ave cafe/The Coronet?) ?? [ Glad I was adamant about trying this place, because their hours posted on Google said it was closed (perhaps with different names/changes?) ... I gave em call and found they were open!!! Whoohoo!] With the very convenient parking lot outback, but not so convenient signs as to where to enter, or that there was more then one entrance, we found out way through the front.. Upon walking in, you're immediately met with a beautiful, quiet courtyard, that leads down various paths, one of which leads to the café. Inside you can find the cafe counter, as well as various gifts, treats, and goodies of all sorts, as well as a friendly great from the baristas behind the counter. The daytime menu, (8-2), is a unique, yet simple variety of food, that is appealing yet also not your standardized breakfast brunch food by any means... from granola at $13, to a more sophisticated Barrio Gravelax bagel w/ side salad at $18 - this is by far one of the more intriguing places in town for the daytime options, with a price to match. I tried what felt like a familiar, yet interesting enough southern bowl, which consisted of two fried eggs, black beans, spuds (potatoes), with warm green chili & cilantro lime crema at $15, with the option of adding Dragoon session sausage at $8, or bacon for $6 dollars more, (which I opted out of to not burn a hole in my pocket before noon). My mother splurged a bit and got the Gravelax bagel w/ side salad at $18. We also picked out two café drinks, a café Americano (hot), and an iced mocha, which came out as hot, but eventually got the right one (iced).. all very tasty!! Both dishes, we agreed, were very well prepared and plated beautifully.. mine caught me off guard a slight bit, when I realized I never specified over-easy eggs, which ultimately was a little much to stomach, but very much appreciated the presentation. My mother expressed her enjoyment of the unique nature of the Gravelax bagel w/ side salad, but unfortunately, we both felt it was a little more money then was reasonable for what it ultimately was.. which essentially, is just a bagel with fish and a small small side... perhaps because it had fish? and a small portion of salad? I guess that it validates the price.. but, felt because of the many vast breakfast/lunch spots in town to choose from at a more reasonable price, ultimately felt a bit of a stretch, especially for my wallet and for dropping big bucks all before noon. Our café experience was definitely the highlight of our experience! Very well the best coffees we've had in a while, and why I left with at least some satisfaction.. This place has so much to offer in atmosphere, quality of service, and delicious drinks, so I hope to see more diversity when it comes to menus and price points to suit all walks of life that could really appreciate this beautiful place, and really benefit this business and amplify its potential. :) Perhaps I'll come with guests for an fancy evening at (Nightjar? Coronet?), where I can justify a more pricy, sophisticated option.

Yelp
Excellent food, excellent service. But their reservation policy is tacky. I understand a no-show fee. But this place charges $25/person and it hits your credit card at the time you make the reservation, NOT the day of the dinner! We won't return until they change this policy.
google avatar

Yelp
Nice patio seating when the weather is nice. Servers are knowledgeable about the menu and friendly. We shared everything, the cauliflower spread, squash brûlée (my least favorite), tempura mushroom (delicious!), sea bass and pear with coconut whipped cream and a very sweet sauce. I wouldn't say that the food is the main attraction. In assume they change up their menu, so it would be great to try new dishes. I'd definitely go back for the overall relaxing patio vibe and try their cafe with different menu items.

Yelp
Reservation required. It was a nice setting on a Friday night. This was Chinese Chorizo week. Chinese Chorizo Mapo Tofu - smoked poblano chili, shitake mushroom, firm tofu, yu choy; chayote squash slaws, 5 spice crispy tortilla. It was salty, spicy with plenty of Chinese chorizo. Great flavor, Very filling. Delicious. The waitstaff was very nice and attentive. Great for a quiet dinner.

Yelp
We made a reservation ahead of time for our party of six. Be aware that their reservation system requires a $25 deposit per person. The credit card is only charged if you don't show up. We were seated in the beautiful dining area across from the bar. The ambiance was wonderful and unique. Some of us had seen menus online different from what was presented to us that night and were taken aback at the prices. Perhaps the online menus were old ones. We decided to share three appetizers and go elsewhere for our main meal. Half of the party got glasses of wine to go with the appetizers. Turns out you should definitely look at the wine prices before ordering. It may sound like I'm only complaining, but we had a nice experience, just surprised at the cost. All the appetizers were tasty and unique. Our server was knowledgeable and friendly. I think for a special occasion this would be a fun place to go and splurge a little.

Yelp
I have never been charged so much for food that claimed to be gourmet. The owner was rude and had no respect towards my review of the food. The owner told me that the multi-course wine pairing was specially created to correspond with each wine representing a different country. Well, I don't drink. She said that because I didn't have the wine is why it wasn't as good without it. The menu was filled with lots of fancy culinary terminology. Rillette was used twice but there was not any form of that cooking method. Agnolotti was used but the raviolis had next to no filling in them. A deformed croquette was sitting on top of frisée with grilled bread and peach compote. Not sure what the relationship was between these items was. I got served a porchetta and was merely a rolled pork belly and most of the fat was on the inside. The procedure was completely misunderstood on this one. This was paired with a strange radicchio salad. I looked at past reviews and found pictures of the same items that were used in my "one-of-a-kind, special menu", the grilled bread especially is used where they can't think of anything else. Here's the best part. This evening was my 57th birthday with my son. I got charged $200 for this sub-par food without alcohol. I told the owner the absolute honest truth and she did not like hearing it. I said, I should get a portion of my money back. She basically told me I didn't know what I was talking about, normally she gives a gift certificate for instances like this. She said, in this case I was not welcome back. Not that I would go back. I just wanted my money back for that embarrassing food and ruined birthday. Even my 15 year old son knew how bad it was. But then again he is the son of a chef. The whole meal was severely disappointing. The restaurant and the service was beautiful. I spoke to the owner one on one and she treated me horribly. I support local businesses 100% but when it's this bad I have to speak up.

Yelp
Being my first time here, I would give The Coronet a 7/10 . The food was flavorful and my favorite thing about the whole experience! The menu is on the shorter side but has many options from fish to rabbit (pictured), to a pork (pictured) or chicken option as well. Presentation was amazing and as I am big on flavorful food, I had no complaints (didn't even need salt/pepper :) The potato soup was good, didn't pick up on the garlic but nonetheless, delicious. The pork dish I ordered had great sides that complimented the pork (I was pleasantly surprised with the turnip greens!) Only drawback is the size of the portions for me, but I understand there is a trade off with quality food. Overall great experience!

Yelp
This is a nice place to come with the family or a date. The coffee was ok but will definitely come back the food is good.

Yelp
I can't complain about this place. The food, service, and ambiance were all great. They have fancy cocktails, beer, and entrees. We split a salad, barrio bread, two entrees, 3 cocktails, and a beer. It all came out to $160 with tip included. This is a great place for date night and to experience properly cooked food with tons of flavor. Overall, we had a great experience but left wanting a burger to satisfy the hunger.

Yelp
This place is super cute. It's a little pricey but it's interesting conceptually. The place is broken into three separate places. There is a restaurant that requires reservations, an open seating patio area with an additional indoor seating area and then a cute little bar with its own entrance. The staff was very kind and accommodating. Everyone had a very efficient but laid back vibe which matched the atmosphere. The bartender especially as I spoke with him then most was super hospitable and encouraging about the menu. I had him talk me through the drink menus and even though we didn't end up eating at the establishment he was helpful with the menu. We were going to a show and the bartender continued to be very friendly and engaging which made us feel so comfortable. I will 100% be coming back. The venue location is perfect if you are seeing a show or sport at TCC or the Ronstat center. Also the hotel which is a popping location is next door and an easy walk across the street.

Yelp
Our group of 4 celebrated Christmas dinner on the patio and the food, service and ambiance were amazing. The special dinner of porchetta was amazing with sweet and salty flavors blending. The egg nog was perfect as well! The menu has gluten free options, and we never felt rushed. One small suggestion would be to warm the chocolate cake. We loved it!!

Yelp
Wonderful cafe with a great selection of coffee choices. Had a lavender / honey latte and hubby had a drip coffee latte was awesome! Drip coffe was ok. Not very strong so if u like strong coffee get an americano. To eat we had the simple breakfast and eggs Bennie (with the brisket & fish-can't remember what it was called). Stick with the brisket. The fish was good however it was an odd combination. Also the Bennie is on toasted potatoes which turned out to be tasty. Comes with a salad which was quite amazing actually! The toasted orange peel was over the top! My hubbies wished the simple breakfast came with a meat like bacon for example but other than than it was good! The potatoes it came with were very tasty

Yelp
Very calm and elegant location. Very friendly staff and will answer your questions. The menu is a small selection of different foods and has several alternatives. Has gluten free and vegan options. Very big menu on wine.

Yelp
We lucked into a reservation at this place. One opened up this morning, so we took it. We were seated near the bar area and where a trio was playing. The trio was quite good, especially the pianist. But they only played a few pieces and then they were done for the night. Our server, Summer, was terrific. She explained the menu and what to expect. We ordered two starters. The hearts of artichoke and the braised leeks with pulled rabbit. I have to say I liked the hearts of artichoke better. We both ordered the seafood chowder. A bit of a misnomer as it really was a piece of haddock with a potato chowder. The haddock was very well cooked. It was good and it was filling. We ordered a Greek Chardonnay that was very good. The place was busy and people seemed to be enjoying themselves. The inside seating, where we were, did not seem to have the ambiance that the outdoor patio seating had. Just something to consider if coming here again.

Yelp
Rating is not for the food, just the experience. My family was visiting during restaurant week, so we were very excited to dine at the Coronet. The environment here is non-pretentious, and a little bit elegant and looks like a great place for date night - I think I prefer a date night here rather than a family dinner with a young toddler in tow. I think service is more geared towards ordering drinks and apps and taking your time to get to the main event. I wished we had known that because our toddler has a hard bed time and dinner was more relaxed than expected. Our reservation was for 5:30 and 7pm had rolled around and our entrees were just being cooked. Since the toddler had to get home soon, we opted to take the rest of meal to go. We can't really speak to the deliciousness of the food as we didn't get to eat it right away, but what we did have was enough to pique our interests and to return without a fussy baby and dine unhindered.

Yelp
Great atmosphere. Exactly what's needed after a 5 hour drive. In town on business. The images only show my beverage, which is delicious, as well as olives and fries. Random assortment. But the curried carrot soup was amazing. Highly recommend.

Yelp
The ambiance is great - a lovely date spot. Cute decor with candles everywhere. That being said, the ambiance and the service were the best part of the experience. All the food was presented nicely, but lacked in complexity. The salad was very bland. The pork belly on the other hand was crispy with a little spice. The assortment of canned seafood is interesting, but we'll skip it next time. The chicken achiote was a bit dry. I loved the opera cake for dessert - unfortunately it was the special and is not on the regular menu. Cute find with a speakeasy next door!

Yelp
Historical location and great service. Unfortunately quality of food is just average and the prices are astronomical. Small bowl of pasta is $42. Fish was over cooked (murdered).

Yelp
The worst meal that I've had in Tucson! The food arrived cold...the steak was tough and the potatoes and rice were inedible. Extremely overpriced...don't waste your money.

Yelp
Nope. The beef carpaccio was TINY and the not nearly as good as some others in Tucson. Maybe I went on a bad day. The restaurant was pretty cute. The service was good. The drinks were better! I recommend the bar but probably won't eat there again.

Yelp
I ate here with a fairly large Meetup group last night. We sat outside. The setting is very pleasant and service was good. I ordered the Thai mussels with shrimp ($28) and the Tack Room chocolate mousse ($12). The food was OK but not good enough to warrant these prices. And the mousse was more like a hard brownie than a mousse.

Yelp
We chose to dine at The Coronet for our anniversary. We had moved to Tucson less than a year ago and had driven by this historic yet elegant looking adobe building many times. After seeing the short yet robust looking menu with locally/ethically sourced fish and meats topped with many herbs/spices, I knew this would constitute a lovely dinner. And indeed it did! We ordered made to order market fish chowder and grilled steelhead for main dishes and asked to split them. They did a great job splitting the dishes and ensured to keep a great presentation. Fish in the chowder is a whole fillet, not chopped, which is perfectly seasoned and prepped. I now think it's actually much better to enjoy fresh fish fillet chowder compared to having the fish chopped into dices. The steelhead looks like a salmon-family fish. It is also perfect seasoned and prepared, served with lightly sweet marinated olive and spices rice. It was stormy before we came, so the outdoor patio area was still wet. We sat closer to the back door. The ambient is nice, having glimpses of the wonderful monsoon clouds right outside the restaurant. Thankful for the crew for making the restaurant great!

Yelp
For a date night spot with charm and personality, the Coronet is one of my favorites. It's the perfect dinner place for when you want something different than the typical corporate chain. The ambience, while a little dark, is perfect for an intimate date. The restaurant's interior makes me feel like I've gone backwards in time in the best way possible. Plus it's connected to the Coronet Cafe and Nightjar, where you can grab a cocktail from the bar and have a seat in their "train car room" that makes you feel like you're sitting in a vintage train. The food here is amazing as well. They do a great job at offering both familiar/comforting options and new taste experiences. The savory pomegranate puree served with my meal was a surprising delight for me. We also got the charcuterie board to start (which was fantastic) and our server did a great job and explaining what everything on the board was. Our server was attentive, polite, and made great recommendations. I highly recommend the steak and the half-hen. I've also heard great things about the steelhead. I truly think there's nothing here you could order that wouldn't be amazing. It is great to support a restaurant that sources nearly all of their ingredients locally.

Yelp
This place is nice, no doubt about that. It has some unique appetizers too. I found it to be frustrating that the waitress laughed when I asked about the prices and trying to see what meals were low carb. They had a mushroom flat iron steak for 44 dollars. I said I didnt want mushrooms and how big was the steak. 6 oz! 44 dollars for a 6 oz steak? My friend ordered it and it is a tender cut. I ordered a pork tenderloin and that was another 40 dollar meal that didnt fill your belly. It's a nice place and all, just not for me.

Yelp
Loved their last location and now love the new one in the place of Cushing St. Really enjoy the carrot soup, pickles (very strange but the shitake mushrooms are the best), and the charcuterie board. I also very much enjoy the pork belly lettuce wraps. Great atmosphere and in nice weather enjoy grabbing a cocktail afterward at the outside bar. Would recommend getting a reservation as it can get busy on the weekends.

Yelp
Great ambiance, cozy inside and perfect meeting place for a drink at the bar. The court outside is divine. Service was amazing we had Miguel who was bilingual and super helpful. Tried the Southwinds Greens Salad which had a great texture with the greens and crispy carrots. Half Hen Marbella was divine! Great flavor, just right juiciness and the olives added a great touch. Tarta de Santiago was the best thing ever rich flavor not too sweet and the olive oil whip was a great addition, would come back just to get a piece. Overall highly recommend trying.

Yelp
The food is divine here. We came here for dinner and had the Marbella and the green curry. Each dish was so rich in flavor and tasted so delicious. They have a nice cocktail menu as well. Our waiter was very friendly. Overall it was a great experience for our date night.
