Upon entering, we were greeted right away and seated immediately. The service from beginning to end was truly impeccable. I would highly recommend this place to anyone, young or old. Even the bathrooms were clean, which is always a plus. I ordered the Gui Chai Pancake as an appetizer — solid 8.5/10 — and the Kra Pow Moo Krob (Crispy Pork Basil) for my main dish, which was a delicious 9.5/10. Overall, I would definitely make this a frequent spot.

It’s a nice spot for dinner, especially if you’re in the mood for Thai food. They also offer vegan options, which is a plus. The atmosphere is cozy. The fried calamari was okay, but I really loved the chicken curry puffs and the sriracha wings, those were my favorites. The drinks were really good too. I definitely need to go back and try more items on the menu, but overall it’s a great place for a quick dinner with a nice, cozy vibe.

THE BEST tom yum sea food soup I’ve had so far. Everything balanced so well, not too creamy, not too spicy not too salty, not too sour. The lemongrass fragrance in the tom yum, just can’t stop. Sea food also good quality, the rice noodles is also very well balanced texture. Not too filling, not making my mouth dry (that means no overdose msg)even after I finished the whole bowl. Highly recommended. HIGHLY if you like fruity and well balanced tom yum.

We absolutely loved it!!!! The place is beautiful, the girls who were working that night were really kind and always smiling, the food was so cozy, perfect for this winter. The drinks! Living in cortelyou all my life, this has been such a great addition to the neighborhood since It opened! I love having this spot near by! The food is amazing , from the Sriracha wings which are my fav ( family & friends love It too ) to the basil rice & also the seafood soup. Absolutely love the selections here and the Atmosphere is small and cozy and very warm! Haven’t had a bad service yet!

Everything was so yummy here! Pad thai was delicious, we had the pad prik (my personal favorite), it was a little sweet but so velvety and savory as well!! Perfect place to bring your loved ones :) Drinks were so fresh!

Loved our experience at Corthaiyou! We started with the calamari and wings both were delicious and perfectly cooked. Our entrées were amazing, from the noodles to the rice dishes, everything was full of flavor. Great ambiance with nice music that really elevated the whole meal. Definitely coming back!

I really liked this cafe. Nice atmosphere, very clean, the interior is comfortable and cozy. The Thai tom yum soup and noodles were so delicious. I want to try all their menu). The staff is friendly and serves very quickly. I saw a lot of delivery guys coming for orders, which means the food here is really delicious. I highly recommend visiting.

I love love their Thai iced tea packaging is great and it always taste the same, their spring rolls are amazing too! I always get these two items when I'm around the area!

I asked for extra protein they provided none. I asked for medium spicy. They provided none. They also beg for tips even tho you are picking up ur food to GO. and once they see you do not give a tip here comes the attitude. Also no utensils in the bag. Just $17 of overcooked noodles. Yuck

Perfect lunch special spot. It was a friday around 1pm sat down and ordered from the lunch special. You get a spring roll and salad with your entree. I ordered one of the fried rice options with chicken and a fried egg. Great flavor and price point.

This place is always the bomb. I love the food, the ambiance, and the drinks. Not to mention that the service is great as hell.

I visited Corthaiyou on Sunday for lunch after attending church. I had the Thai Iced Tea for my drink and it tasted very good. For my appetizer, I ordered the Chicken Satay. I enjoyed it. The chicken was fresh and well prepared. The dipping sauce complimented the chicken. For my entree, I had the Pad See Ew with Chicken. It was delicious as well. The server was very friendly and she provided excellent customer service. The restaurant was quiet since it was an early Sunday afternoon. Everything tasted very good and I would return to try other items on the menu.

I've been ordering food from Corthaiyou for yrs but just recently decided to go have a sit down dining experience to give it an honest review. As you enter you can't miss the floral arrangements an the Asian art decor, the space is not huge but it super clean and neat. There's a cute little window area where you can sit, eat and ppl watch (lol) I was greeted and seated in a mere matter of secs, everyone was polite and did their job extremely well, all my questions was answer to fullest about the menu. I ordered the lychee sparkling soda which was delish and had the actual lychee fruit in it and I loved every bit of it. I also ordered the veggie dumplings with fried scallion, they had to good soy sauce (if you're a New Yorker you know what I mean haha) and to top of off so had my go to favorite shrimp pad Thai, the portion was generous, it was flavorful and I left nothing on the plate. Overall they get a 10/10 and will be back to visit soon.

I definitely will go back the food was pretty good. I personally did not like the Steamed Dumplings as they lacked a lot of flavor. The lychee tea was pretty delicious. The Pad See Ew was absolutely delicious!!

I don't know why I bother. I keep forgetting just how bad a Thai restaurant Corthaiyou is. I don't think I can remember ordering without something being missing or wrong. Today I tried their summer rolls, and it was as though somebody had read about them, but never seen one. Practically inedible. Better off ordering from any of the other area Thai places even if there's a delivery fee.

This place is delicious!! We sat outside and I was eaten alive by mosquitoes but have no fear - they have bug spray. I absolutely love their thin spring rolls - so delicious and chewy. The meals feel very authentic and great vibes. Will come again!

Beautifully decorated Thai restaurant. Love the floral and romantic atmosphere, perfect for a date. We ordered the fried squid, sriracha wings, grilled pork salad, and Lab Moo. The pork apps were both sooo good. We asked for extra spicy and they for sure made it extra spicy! For the mains we ordered crab fried rice, crab curry, and pad kee mow. The flat noodles were soft and chewy and the crab dishes had plenty of crab meat. The cocktails were also beautiful i recommend the sangria and mango tang

Homey, trendy restaurant. Awesome backyard that's perfect for the NYC summer afternoons and nights . We had the drinking noodles which was mouth watering good and had a lil kick of spiciness which I loved . The calamari was flavored well and the Rice with beef chunks was filling . The staff could have been more attentive and engaging. Most of the time they was babbling in their own conversation on the side .

Cirthaiyou is my go to spot for Thai food in Brooklyn. It is close to Cortelyou metro. They have attentive service and are a very accommodating establishment. They have a chill vibe perfect for a date or to catch up with an old friend.

Always a good go-to for thai food in our neighborhood. Has a lovely outdoor dining area out back. Everyone is friendly, but can be busy.

I would love to put 5 stars for this. I feel the food here is very authentic, and the owner's family is really from Thailand and they offer homemade authentic Thai food. With inflation, but here the lunch special price and portion are all great. Space is nice too.

We've ordered from this place a handful of times now and I am constantly impressed at how delicious the beef pad see ew is. The texture of the noodles is so addicting, the smell when the box is opened is amazing. Broccoli is fresh, beef is tender etc.

What a delightful new Thai place added to Kensington! I dined here on a Sunday evening, and it was busy :) Met a friend here, and was able to order until 9:45PM, as they close at 10PM. She lives nearby and was happy to hear how late they stay open considering other places in the area close earlier. We started with the Curry Puffs, which is a set of 3 and comes with dipping sauce. I had the large portion of Tom Kha soup, which was a healthy portion for $13. Note- it contains chicken already so if you're vegetarian or vegan make sure you note the server. My friend had the Salmon soup dish which was the perfect amount of spice - and a side of coconut rice. They also have cocktails! Not liquor based, however they delightfully recreate classics using Sake. I had a Lemon Gingerita and she had a similar drink made of Cucumber. Very refreshing! The highlight of the place is the authenticity. There are pictures of Thai culture and they play Thai music to create an ambiance that truly transports you to Bangkok or Chang Mai. The servers even speak Thai - as they saluted me on my way out with a "Sawasdeeka" (thank you ma'am in Thai)! Only docking a star for the closeness of the tables. It doesn't give you much of an opportunity to have an intimate conversation. Also unfortunately they serve takeout menus as the menus... which is a bit lackluster, however the food/drinks/customer service/ambiance is top notch. Make sure you visit!

On this good Sunday, my partner and I decided to pop over to Caillou to get Pad Thai and a basil dish. We decided to have a sit down lunch because we were hungry. Upon arrival, we were told they were close to closing time, so even though we were bamboozled as we had checked the hours prior to driving over (see image 1), we switched to a pick up order. Understandably, our hostess rushed us, so we quickly placed our order. Our order was brought out and we headed to our designated dining spot. 4.5 mastications into his Pad Thai, my partner slowed down as if he were savoring his meal. He then proceeded to extricate an unidentified metal object (UMO) out of his mouth. This UMO was buried in his noodle and that was not cooldle. The UMO is not malleable. This could have damaged one of his very nice teeth. Meanwhile, my basil dish was so salty that I am writing this with swollen fingers at 4:05pm. I am healthy with low blood pressure and now, I probably have high blood pressure and a case of the gout. My partner then called the restaurant to give them a heads up that they're serving UMOs to their customers, so they may want to double check their woks. The response was "We are closed!!! Call back later!!!!" followed up by a hang up. My partner is making a sad face now. Please send him your best wishes. He deserves better.

We stopped by for a quick bite before they closed down for an hour. The staff was super friendly and helped us right away. I got the Thai iced coffee which was good and strong. I got the green curry with shrimp. I was not expecting the curry to be that spicy so if you can't handle spice just let them know to lower the heat! My boyfriend got the duck soup and loved it. Overall, I like the vibe and would like to check other items on their menu!

Food was great. Service was great. I would definitely come back again. We had the classic pad thai, thai iced tea and several other amazing dishes.

LOVE the backyard patio because the dining sets make you feel like you're eating in someone's backyard - such homey, summery vibes. We came by for brunch on a beautiful Saturday a few weeks ago and there was only one other family that ate at the picnic tables. I loved the privacy & intimacy. The only downside is that there is a playground on the other side of the fence so it got pretty loud with screaming kids at one point... but what can ya do Apps were great - Lab Rolls ($8.50 for 5) complimented the fresh Papaya Salad ($10.50) which packed some heat! We also ordered a side called Kai Pra Atit ($6) -- it's essentially fried eggs with rice cooked inside of it. Never had anything like it before, but worth the try! For mains we got Drunken Noodles w/ chicken ($13) and Massaman Curry w/ Boneless Beef Short Ribs ($19). Both very delicious as well. I thought my thai iced tea ($4.50) was a bit too artifically sweet but my boyfriend's thai iced coffee ($4.50) was perfect. Our bill totaled $72 before tip, which I initally thought was a bit pricey... but we did order quite a lot. Our server was great, checking up on us pretty often throughout the meal. Hopefully we'll return before it starts getting cooler outside.

This place is great for take out. The food is always really good. Decided to stop by for a sit in meal and granted the food was still good the service was all over the place. It must've been a bad day because apparently there were no mangers on the premise and a bunch of new hirers were left to fend for themselves. There was a full blown argument between the staff at one point. They forgot an entire entree that we ordered, refused to cancel/change a drink order and the inside of our curry puffs were still cold among other things. Hope it was just a fluke or the result of a holiday weekend because the food is good and they have a great patio space out back. One star off for a possible bad day...

Delicious Pad See Ew! It was bursting with flavor, and they gave me a good amount of chicken. I had to hold myself back from finishing the entire plate--it was one of those conundrums where you're super full but want to keep eating. My friend also told me their drink menu is really yummy, so I definitely want to come back to try some of their drinks! They also have a super cute backyard for outdoor seating! The tables are cute and the decor is really colorful and lively. They also have umbrellas to shade you from the sun, the rain, or anything in between. I took off one star because the staff was a bit sharp with us. They seemed to be in a huge hurry and talked at us very pointedly even though we were the only customers in the restaurant. We felt awkward every time we interacted with them. Perhaps they were just having an off day. The food was excellent, though!

This place is consistently good. One of my favorite places on Cortelyou and reasonably priced.

I wanted to love this place, as I start all the companies I review with a 5, and it's in a beautiful location. The food is OK. Overpriced and very small portions. For example while the vegetable dumplings were good, $8.50 for tiny dumplings is highway robbery. The customer service was OK. Abrupt. Not helpful. In a neighborhood with other options, those other options may be your best option.

Came to Corthaiyou for an event. It was originally supposed to be held in their outdoor seating area, but was moved indoors due to inclement weather. I'd say they were very generous about closing the restaurant for a couple hours just for us, but it did feel very rushed. The party started off with everyone receiving a sample platter of Curry Puff, Chive Pancake, and Spring Roll. There was a list of entrées to choose from and I ordered the Tofu Pad Kee Mao. For dessert, everyone was served Mango with Sweet Sticky Rice. Overall, the food tasted pretty good but it was a bit overpriced. If I find myself in this area again I would probably come back, but not worth the drive all the way from NJ.

Corthaiyou is located on Cortelyou Road near the Q line two blocks away. The exterior is decorated with fake florals but it's a nice touch. They have nice backyard seating which is great for the summer time. Beware, they light real torches so it gets a bit hot if you sit near them and you'll notice bits of soot floating around. We ordered pad kee mow, basil fried rice, papaya salad and chive pancakes. The papaya salad is not as good as the one from Pad Thai Kitchen in Bensonhurst. I really liked the chives pancakes here and the basil fried rice. My go-to is usually basil fried rice because I like the spicy kick. This definitely is spicy if you can handle spice. The fried rice is fragrant and have generous amount of basil in it. This place has one of the best basil fried rice I've had.

Spring has Sprung! It was a gorgeous day out and what a better way to celebrate than Thai! Happened to be in the area and Yelp led me here! It wasn't packed and there was space in the back patio. I'd say the back needed a pick me up as far as decor. I didn't understand the aesthetics. Service was ok. We had to ask a few times for things. We were still eating appetizers and they brought the food out , which didn't make sense as it had to sit out while we finished. The drinks were pretty but not strong. They don't sell hard liquor so don't expect to get tipsy here. The food was good. The sriracha wings were tasty and crispy. I got shrimp pad see ew and it was good . Not a bad spot for dinner. Not too pricey. Hope they can fix up the back better.

Personally this place is so good. We came here because the name of the restaurant. The available dessert of the day was coconut pudding. Came in three little circle dish, it was warm and topped with crispy (fried?) coconut flakes. Gotta try it! I ordered Pad See Ew i asked for spicy, and with shrimp. The flavor was intense and everything blends well together. Each bite of noodle with vegetable or shrimp just made me so happy. He ordered Pad Kee Mao, aka drunken noodle with chicken. For some reason mine was way spicer than his and drunken noodle are suppose to be spicy. Not complaining though, he thought it was delicious. We had spring rolls as appetizer, 3/5 because portion and filling was lacking seasoning. Thai ice tea is good, he got honeydew milk tea. Milk tea bubble is a 2/5 because the texture of bubble could've been better.

It is a nice small spot that is serves good thai food. I came here the 3rd time and ordered the chicken pad kee mao, the sriracha wings, coconut chicken mushroom soup, and chicken pad see ew. They don't exactly serve the regular alcohol, and instead will use sake as a mixer in their alcohol selections.

Delicious food in a very cute and comfortable little restaurant, perfect for dine-in. In addition to a full regular menu, they offer a large number of vegetarian/vegan options, including vegan tom kha soup (the first thing I look for). They also serve a selection of wines and beers to go with your lunch/dinner, which is a nice option to have. In addition to the tom kha, I had chive pancakes, which were mouth-watering and come with savory sauce, and green curry to round out the meal. Everything was on point. All of the dishes came out very quickly as well, and the waitstaff were helpful and charming. Can't wait to go back, and hopefully introduce friends to this gem of a neighborhood restaurant.

The food was amazing, drinks were delicious and our server was fantastic. We sat outside and the little fairy light and plants everywhere just made the whole experience that much better. Highly recommend to anyone in the area who wants good food and even better service. 6 stars

My go to Thai place in Brooklyn! Food is consistently good and they have an extensive Thai menu to cater to everyone. My go tos are the panang curry and the wok cashew with chicken. I keep going back to try new dishes and it never disappoints!

Another great find in Brooklyn!!!!! Came here with my husband and friends for dinner on a Saturday night. We sat to the back in their outdoor dining area. As it's getting colder the restaurant does have warmers throughout the entire area. My friends and I had a great time. We started off with the Sriracha Wings, which were very yummy, we all enjoyed it not spicy at all. I had the green curry noddle soup with Chicken. I found the sizing was good, I even carried some home with me to have for Lunch the following day. My other friends enjoyed their meal as well and would definitely be back to this Thai spot.

Corthaiyou's food is mediocre. I think most people visit because there isn't many thai food competitors in the area. The food isn't bad, but I wouldn't go out of my way to visit. It's not something I'd choose myself if there were many Thai food places in the area. None the less, the food is not terrible, I'm just not in love with their food Their powdered honeydew bubble tea is good, tastes like any other powdered honeydew bubble teas. The Thai tea is not powdered and good as well.

This place is amazing and this is my first time leaving a review but I just had to because the food was just that good. Great ambiance and service was excellent. Waiter was very attentive to detail and accommodating. The Pad Thai and Pad Prik Khing was so good. I will definitely be coming again with friends and family!

The food here is really good. We had the chicken curry puffs, sriracha wings, panang curry w/ chicken, green curry w/ chicken, and the crabmeat fried rice. The sriracha wings were good. Not spicy though. The curry puffs were decent, not the best I've had and pretty tiny but not bad. My panang curry was great. Also not the best I've had, but the flavors were all there and I appreciated that they didn't make it with peanuts (some places do). Healthy portion and very tasty. My sister had the green curry and she loved it. We split the crabmeat fried rice and it also was very good, fresh ingredients. I'd definitely go back and try the drunken noodle, fried calamari, and a few other Thai staples

Been meaning to try Corthaiyou since the beginning of this year. Finally went recently for lunch and was not disappointed. Had the curry puffs appetizer and the pad see ew with tofu for my main dish. I thought the curry puffs were a little bland (as I was expecting more of a curry flavor), but really enjoyed my pad see ew. I ordered take out while in the restaurant last week and ordered the vegetable pad Thai dish. After asking my server if the dish contained eggs, I requested that my order not due to my egg allergy. I used to live in the area and loved to get food from the restaurant with my family, but this particular experience made me feel as though I wasted my money because I wasn't heard. By the time I got home to eat I was much too far to bring the food back and even though I called the restaurant to tell them what happened no one was able to take my call....

Such a cute place! Ample outdoor seating for a summer day with delicious and hearty plates of fresh noodles, rice, and vegetables. I ordered the vegetable pad Thai and kao pad. Both were so filling and the servings were huge! Lots of vegetables too but a bit oily. Oddly enough, our food came out at pretty different times for a party of 4. I enjoyed a Thai tea milk tea and honeydew milk tea with boba. You can order a size regular or a large. My friend recommends the beer by the bottle. They also have beer on tap. Bathrooms available and very casual atmosphere.

I love the food at this Tai establishment. There was no one in the dining area and that was perfect for us. There was a lot of pick up throughout the time we were there. That shows me that the community Loves the food. Everything was perfect. It was very clean inside. The size is spacious but on the small end,, but they do have an outside veranda that is covered. I ordered the crab fried rice with shrimp. I also had vegetable Spring rolls. For my drink it was ice tea. It was red orange in color. I believe it had a soy based milk. I'm lacto and my stomach did not get upset. My date had oyster fried rice. He also had hibiscus iced tea. Yummy .

We were in the area for some fast bites. I was craving for some Thai food so we checked out this establishment. I was not happy with my food which was veggie dumpling and coconut bubble tea. My dumplings were very dry yet the sauce was tasty it was a sort of sweet soy sauce and my bubble tea was not at all good the tapioca tasted odd like too much sugar was in the beverage. During these COVID-19 times I do not like to give a bad review as I understand everybody is struggling and trying to make a living. I will give the establishment prompts for following COVID-19 guidelines are all wearing masks social distancing was done well and a lot of anti-bacteria sanitizer was around the restaurant which was great. Our server was also very nice.

Tasty Thai food without having to venture to downtown Brooklyn or the city. Corthaiyou has got seating out in front as well as a backyard with large picnic tables. Food is consistently fresh, nicely presented and reasonably well portioned for the price. Spicy typically means spicy, but not always. They're also happy to accommodate when you want a certain dish's flavor profile but not much heat. I'm the guy who typically orders an avocado salad app and noodle-dish with chicken or shrimp as my main and I'm always pleased with the food and service here. Service is always polite and attentive, even when they've got people spread outside front and back of the restaurant during these crazy COVID times. They've also got decent beer varieties and a good brunch special on beers and select wines.

A cute little restaurant with a nice backyard patio. We sat outdoors on a nice summer evening and it felt like home. We ordered fried calamari, pad thai, pad woonsen, and a Thai iced tea. The staff provided great service. The food was amazing, definitely warms up your heart and it's filling.

This place is ok, not as good as other places I've been for authentic Thai food. The food here taste mediocre, the flavors just isn't there. Doesn't taste authentic. The fried rice taste like it's made from a box rice set, the pad Thai didn't have any sweet and sour taste. The soup tasted powdery like from a packet. Overall, it didn't taste authentic Thai, more like fast food Thai joint. Quite disappointed.

Overall: Tastes authentic and comparable to food you can find in Thailand. Food: Pad Thai - Pretty decent Pad Thai compared to the Pad Thai I've tried in Thailand. Perfect amount of sauce, so it's not too salty and dry. Massaman Curry - Love this. It has a very gamey flavor from the meat. Green Curry - Another solid classic. Pad Kee Mow (Drunken Noodles) - A must order if you want a guaranteed good dish choice. Hoy Lay Pad Prik Kow (clam dish) - Flavor's great, but I got bored of the taste quickly. Tum Thai (papaya salad) - This is a must order. A warning though, this is quite spicy. The burn lingered in my mouth for 10-15 minutes after I stopped eating it. Still an enjoyable burn where you can taste the salad. All the appetizers I've ever tried so far have been delicious (curry puff, chicken satay, Gui Chai) Spice level: You can adjust the spice levels. They made it medium spicy where we can still taste the food. I have a decent tolerance, so it might be considered very spicy to others. Service: Attentive without hovering. The staff are very friendly if you want to chat more. Ambiance: Cozy, comfortable, and clean.

This is one of the worst takeout experiences I ever had! This was the drunken noodle lunch special. Online it was $13.50. Went to pick up my order and the price was increased to $16.50. This was how much soup was given! Not even half way full. The beef for my drunken noodles was as dry as leather, not even enjoyable to chew! The portions are embarrassingly small, and the quality of food is fit for a garbage. Do yourself a favor and order elsewhere!

We had all the classics, for delivery, as is our custom. As you know, NYC and Thai food go together like salt on chips. It's just something we know how to do. This place is no different. I don't know how to distinguish it from all of the other great options, but if you happen to be on this specific block, it's the place to go for Thai food...
