At this beloved Italian spot since 1963, grab mouthwatering pizzas, indulgent sandwiches, and top-notch market goods that will have you coming back for more.
"Smack in the middle of Little Arabia sits Cortina’s, a family-run Italian market and restaurant in operation since 1963. The space is divided into two sections: a deli/market on the left and a pizzeria/restaurant on the right. If you’re short on time (or stomach space), prioritize the deli first. Along with imported pasta, meats, and cheeses to take home, you'll find made-to-order sandwiches that locals line up for. When we're hungry, we get the Cortina’s Special with capicola, mortadella, two types of salami, and the usual fixings. When we're really hungry, we get the sturdy meatball sub blanketed in mozzarella." - brant cox
"Cortina’s is an Italian market and pizzeria in Anaheim that’s been around for over 60 years. The shop offers simple Italian food with local ingredients, including full-fat mozzarella cheese and dough prepared on the premises. While the pizza offerings are fairly straightforward and include the classics like margherita and an Italian white pizza, Cortina’s allows for ample customization on the toppings for all of its 12, 14, or 16-inch pies. With a full-service deli adjacent to the pizza shop, the sauces, meatballs, sausage, and porchetta are all made from scratch." - Cathy Park

"Movie Pairing: The Princess Bridge at Oak Canyon Park in Silverado The Princess Bride is a film with everything: Rob Reiner’s directing, Robin Wright’s acting, and Mandy Patinkin’s chest hair. So head down to OC for the Street Food Cinema screening, and pick up pizza and some sandwiches from Cortina’s on the way there. Our favorite thing from this family-run market in Little Arabia is the Cortina’s Special (which involves two kinds of salami, plus capicola and mortadella), but you can’t go wrong with the meatball sub, either. As far as pizzas go, get the Italian White with aglio olio, alfredo, ricotta, and broccolini. Saturday, August 8, 8:30pm. Tickets available here." - Brett Keating

That’s where you can get imported pasta, meats, and cheeses for home, on top of ordering fresh-made sandwiches from the deli.
