Corto Lima in Lexington is such a vibe! Our waiter, John, was seriously the best—super nice and knew his stuff. He put us on to their dragon fruit margaritas (not even on the menu, but so good), so of course, we had to try them… and 10/10! He also helped our friend pick out the perfect mocktail and even recommended some non-alcoholic beers, which was much appreciated.
Food-wise, we went with steak tacos (I asked for chimichurri sauce with mine in the pic), two orders of porky tacos, and cheese dip—everything was fire. The chips? Elite. Even though we were stuffed, John suggested espresso martinis instead of dessert,… chef’s kiss.
The place itself is super cute, but it does get loud—kind of Texas Roadhouse levels of energy (probably from the high ceilings). It was a little chilly by the door, and the tables are pretty close together, but honestly, the good food and great service made up for it.
All in all, an awesome spot with an even better waiter. Shoutout to John for the good vibes—we’ll be back!
