I decided to walk into what I thought was a tiny Cafe of 5 or 6 tables that had a very minimalist, clean, bright yet relaxed look.
I received a very warm greeting upon entering even when I declined a table and asked only to look at a menu.
The menu is simple but quite impressive with its all natural fresh ingredients and so I decided I might give it a try.
The server kindly asked if I'd be interested in looking at their garden area as he led the way.
When he opened what seemed to be a closet door......I was absolutely blown away! My quick little photos don't do any justice to this hidden find. The garden area is gorgeous with soft Latin jazz playing in the background!
I ordered a freshly made green juice which the server brought over a few minutes later with a basket of housemade toast, housemade sweet butter, and housemade berry jam.
My server, Víctor Manuel, was so gentlemanly, genuinely pleasant, and so attentive without being overbearing. He mentioned the restaurant has been around for 2yrs and that it gets VERY busy on the weekends. I'm so overjoyed to see it survived Hurricane Otis.... and it didn't just survive......it's thriving!
And for those females venturing out on their own.....might I add, as a female of Latin descent, I felt very comfortable and safe walking to the restaurant and dining alone here.
