The Spots Of The Summer, Dallas Edition - Dallas - The Infatuation

"This high-tech theater has stadium seating and a massive, immersive screen, so you feel like you’re watching an NBA finals game or a Cirque du Soleil performance in person, but with none of the weather or parking lot woes. And the food is a cut above typical stadium fare—think steak frites topped with chimichurri or a lobster grilled cheese spiced with togarashi aioli." - kevin gray

COSM is undeniably a great experience! If you want exclusive access to see your favorite sporting events or movies seeing it COSM-style is it! I went to see The Matrix… yes a nearly 30yr old film! But it was like watching it from Day 1. The full view of the dome enhanced and restored the magic of this classic movie. Coupled with the “Taste Experience” that’s included, it’s definitely worth the sticker shock of the ticket price. It was a special date night with the excitement to see an old fav in a new way. Pro tip: There’s not too many bad seats if you’re on the third floor, if you go second, get as close to the front as possible. First row, not my choosing at all but it might bring a unique experience. Enjoy!

Wanted to take my great-granddaughter somewhere special and have been to many many Circa du Soleil shows so I thought this would be an exciting... I have been to many but never this one! One of my friends said they thought it was just a big dome with a taped program... Not knowing any better I googled it under Circa du Soleil not Cosm... As I thought that was just the location it was going to be held... But Google said they were going to be eighty+ performers and a five-piece orchestra... My friend was right... It's a big dome and the video, a lot of the times was very blurry. My seat was also on the front row, second level... and I was behind some kind of a larger obstruction of view, which was not mentioned when I purchased the tickets. I'm not real sure I would even want to see this in a live event either... It was very repetitious. But this company sends a videographer to one of the live performances of many different events and they tape it and then they sell tickets to see it... I would not have ever paid that much money for two tickets, And I was really disappointed because I wanted to give my little great granddaughter a big memory... She was ready to go in about 15 minutes.

This was my second visit to the Cosm. The first one was amazing and watching a football game there was an experience that I highly recommend. The food and drinks were also excellent. On this last visit, the game was amazing and the food was decent. However, the horrible service is what earned them 2 stars. On this visit, we sat down at our reserved area and sat there waiting for someone to take our drink order. Nobody acknowledged us, or even took a second to say someone will be right with us. I finally called over to someone who told me I confused him with my actual waiter and he couldn't help me. I waited a few more minutes, and walked to the bar to order our drinks. The bartender there was quick, but then told me that I could not open a tab and had to do that with my waiter. So I paid and closed. A waiter finally walked over and did apologize for the delay. Service was still hit or miss with this waiter, but I did find one waitress who took our next drink order herself instead of saying she couldn't help me. It got so bad that we just didn't want to deal with it anymore and left just after half-time. I don't know if I will come back here again. The experience is amazing, but for the price they charge for the tickets, food, and drinks, I expect better service. 😢

Walking into The Cosm in Dallas felt like stepping into a different dimension, and not just because of the Matrix experience (though that was mind-bendingly awesome). The food was so good it had me doing a double take at my plate, wondering if I’d accidentally ordered from the future. The service team nailed that sweet spot of friendly and flawless—like they’d been programmed for hospitality. The atmosphere was sleek, electric, and almost cinematic, making every corner feel Instagram-worthy. And then came the Matrix experience, which honestly had me questioning reality in the best way possible. The Cosm isn’t just dinner; it’s a whole adventure that lingers with you long after you’ve left.

So .... this place rocks! Now .... I can see why some people might not review this the same way. It is a little confusing if it is your first time (my first time) and there are definitely much better seats than others. Service was very friendly, but you need to catch their attention. Overall .... loved it. Good food, good drinks, and amazing view on the 3rd level of the Dome!

Cosm was a fun experience. It was nice to try something a little different. While I don't necessarily think the price of the ticket was worth it, (we got 2 tickets for $70 total for the bottom floor for a double feature that was an hour long) I did greatly appreciate that the staff upgraded us to the top floor because we came in the middle of a weekday when attendance was lower. It was a fun thing to do on a Friday for a little date. The screen was very cool and the seats and building itself were very comfortable. The bathrooms are huge and very clean. Overall, the company itself, the staff, the setup was all great but for us at least it'll only be a one time thing as we wouldn't be able to afford to do it again.

Great experience. We couldn’t make the trip for the Notre Dame vs. Miami game so this was the best option. I went to the 2017 ND vs. UM game in Miami, but this was just as good. It’s obviously not the same game atmosphere, but it was a good crowd and it seems like everyone had a great experience. I would definitely recommend. The first video with the drinks is from my seat, 2nd level section 3A, seat 1&2. The second video is after the game from the upper second level, which I thought was just as good. In addition the upper second level is less expensive.

I went there with the family to watch the Big Wave movie. The environment was nice while we waited for seating to be available. We bought the tickets online before arriving. Once we sat down we took in the view of the screen. I gotta say that it was really nice and at times it felt like you were actually in the environment that was being shown. There are a few levels of seating. We chose the middle area on the second level. Depending on what you're watching, you may want to sit in different areas since you will get a different perspective. Seating was a bit tight with limited space for a table where any drinks or food ordered will be placed. Besides the tickets I would say that food is a bit on the expensive side. It tasted great. We ordered appetizers since it would be easier to eat while watching the movie. Waiters were courteous but there was some confusion on seating arrangements with a few people. The movie experience was absolutely stunning and I am already planning on going back to watch the Matrix. Save up if you're planning on going with a group.
