Cosmic Rays Starlight Cafe is located inside Disneys Magic Kingdom. The main draw of the place is then animatronic alien named Sonny Eclipse. He has entertained guests for decades. It’s always fun to see him even if I think they need to give me more songs in his catalog. With that said the food here is absolutely dismal. We decided to try the burgers again. This time they are adding different sauces. This does not help the hard puck they call a burger. It’s completely awful. They were freshly made while we waited and they still tasted like they were sitting around for hours. The fries are awful too, that why I got the cuties (tangerines). Disney charged us 40 bucks for two burger combos and two drinks. The least the can do is make it edible. The fast food options for the most part were changed during Covid and has never been brought back up to the standards they had before it.

If you’re exploring Tomorrowland and looking for a fast, satisfying, no-fuss meal that still hits the spot — Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Café is the move. I stopped here for lunch and grabbed the Bacon Cheeseburger with fries, and honestly? It totally delivered what I needed after hours of walking, sweating, and living on churros. Atmosphere: First off, the theming is everything you’d expect from Disney — fun, quirky, and immersive. You step into a space-themed cafeteria, complete with retro-futuristic designs and glowing lights. But the real star (literally) is Sonny Eclipse, the animatronic alien lounge singer performing on the main stage. His cheesy jokes, jazzy tunes, and smooth alien crooning just give the whole place such a classic Disney vibe. It’s so fun and weird in the best way. The Food – Bacon Cheeseburger: I went with the standard bacon cheeseburger combo, and let me tell you: it hit the spot. The patty was juicy and fresh off the grill, with that flame-broiled flavor that you don’t always get in quick service spots. The bacon was crispy, not rubbery — a win — and the cheese was perfectly melted across the patty. Everything came on a warm, fluffy bun that held up well without getting soggy. It’s not gourmet, but it’s not trying to be. This is theme park food done right: hot, hearty, and exactly what you crave when you’ve been running on adrenaline and Mickey pretzels. The portion was generous, and it paired perfectly with the seasoned fries, which were golden, crispy, and well-salted. Service & Seating: Despite the lunchtime rush, the mobile order system kept things moving efficiently. Staff were friendly and helpful, and we found a seat easily in the massive dining area. There’s indoor and outdoor seating, but I recommend sitting near Sonny Eclipse — he’s part of the charm. Extra Details: There’s a toppings bar (limited now compared to pre-2020 days, but still appreciated), and tons of drink options with free refills if you dine in. Bonus: you’re right next to the entrance of Tron and Space Mountain, so it’s super convenient to fuel up before your next thrill. Final Thoughts: Is this the best burger you’ll ever have in your life? No. But is it one of the most satisfying quick service meals in Magic Kingdom when you want something familiar and filling? Absolutely. Between the solid food, fun theming, and nostalgic alien lounge singer, Cosmic Ray’s has earned its spot as a Tomorrowland staple — and one of my go-to lunch spots in the park.

Tried the plant-based patty melt — rather greasy with a crust that was a little too tough, but the Impossible patty and melty cheese hit the spot. The pickle slaw and sauce added great flavour. Not a fresh or healthy option by any means, but if you’re craving indulgent junk food, it does the job. That said, it was impossible to find a place to sit — both indoors and outdoors were packed at 1pm on a Wednesday in May, with plenty of people hanging around who weren’t even eating there, which didn’t exactly enhance the experience.

Food was OK. However, one of us ordered a number 4, which is a patty melt, which would have caramelized onions on it. Three different times they brought out a plain hamburger on Texas toast. Finally, we ate it anyway just because everyone else’s food was getting cold and we wanted to eat together as a family. The manager gratefully return money for this mill and the drink.

The lady who took our order was really nice! The service went pretty fast. Any empty tables were dirty & you had to clean for yourself, tables weren’t wiped down. The Disney Jr stage was quite, no shows yesterday. Plus all the food my husband, myself, & our 2 kids ordered had no flavor and was dry. A burger meal, a grilled chicken sandwich meal, and 2 kid’s chicken tender meals….nothing on the burger, dried out grilled chicken, fries without salt….not good all around! My kids even didn’t enjoy it…. Take your money somewhere else where you can smell “good” food coming from the restaurant outside, then it should taste great! We walked around the rest of the day paying attention to those type of restaurants and remembering the names for next time!….

This is a kid friendly dining location that was our go to spot many years ago when we had annual passes. So much has changed since then. The food is mediocre at best. My wife’s bacon cheeseburger had pathetic looking bacon and the sauce was just a small dab. The chicken tenders got a mixed review from our children, but it was unanimous that it fell well short of a popular chicken place we ate at for breakfast outside the park. Both my wife’s and my burgers were somewhat cold and tasted worse than any common fast food establishment. There really isn’t service here as you order on your mobile app and they just hand you the food when it’s ready. Some tables were cleaned. Others were not even though a staff member cleaning tables had just gone by. You also have to finish assembling your own burger if you want lettuce, tomato, onions, pickles, etc. The cost for what you get is ridiculous. I expected to pay a little more to eat in the park. However, $85 for a family of five to eat mediocre burgers and chicken fingers is a joke. $4.79 for fountain drinks with no refills is also taking advantage of customers that have already paid high prices to enter the park. Disney was renowned for the quality of their food and service. They have cut corners here and it was a disappointment. Disney, you can do better.

For lunch while at Disney World we ate at Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe. They serve sandwiches, burgers, fries, chicken tenders and no refill drinks unless you pay extra for it. It was very crowded, and you can order online. I don’t recommend ordering online, it’s faster to wait in line and order from a live person.(speaking from experience from my niece online ordering) it was hard to find a table, but we lucked up and everyone found a table, just not near each other. I ordered the chicken tenders and fries, and they weren’t bad. Mahogany a young lady giving out Bday pins and first Disney visit pins was so nice. She gave me a bday pin, and it was nice getting bday wishes EVERY time someone saw my pin. Cosmic Ray’s is not cheap, but not as expensive as other places to eat at WDW. If you looking for a budget friendly place to eat check out Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe.

I came here one day with my sister and her family when they were in town visiting. It was a long day at MK, and we wanted some food, so we came here, to Cosmic Ray's. It's one of the busiest counter service restaurants in all of WDW, but in the chaos, it is actually very efficient. No real ambiance to speak of. I think there used to be a singing alien in the corner or something, but now it's just a building with seats. Which is fine. It does its job. Service was pretty ok, too. Friendly faces at the registers, friendly folks handing you your order, taking requests on asking for extra veggies trays. No issues with service at all. As for the good, I was surprised with how good it was. Of course it was overpriced, but it wasn't as overpriced as other spots on Disney property. I think way too many families of 4+ slide in and out of this place for the prices to be too high. I ordered the Spicy Fried Chicken Sandwich (Crispy Chicken Breast, Pickle Slaw, and Spicy Aïoli on a Brioche Bun served with French Fries). Nice, soft bun. Large, crispy chicken patty. Shoestring fries with unlimited amounts of ketchup. I was pretty pleased. I also got to sample the Triple-B Burger (Angus Beef Patty with Bacon, Cheddar Spread, Crispy Onions, and Coca-Cola® Cherry-Barbecue Sauce on a Brioche Bun served with French Fries), one of their signature items, with an upgrade side of Black Garlic, Truffle, and Parmesan Fries (French Fries topped with Black Garlic-Truffle Aïoli and Parmesan). Wow! This burger was out of this world. A good, charred burger patty with bacon that was actually crisp and played a role in this burger. Gooey cheese, more crisp from the onions, and that sweet BBQ sauce that counteracts the heaviness from the rest of the burger. Delicious. Definitely recommend this. Overall, I was very pleasantly surprised with this place. Gonna make this one of my go-to places for when I come to MK.

Yelp
Pros: Really conveniently located within Magic Kingdom. Not too far out of the way. Service was nice enough. It's only counter service, but everyone was friendly and smiling. Food was surprisingly good! We had a good chicken sandwich and an even better bacon cheeseburger. Cons: No real cons. The price was even right, for Disney property. Tips: Both sandwiches we tried were worth it value-wise. So maybe their other menu items will satisfy you, too.

Yelp
This is a very average meal at the Magic Kingdom. Like most of this park the food is simply okay with nothing of serious note. Chicken Sandwich was super spicy but solid. Burger was very average. The thing that drives this place is the ambience. Different than other cafeteria style places it at least leans into its place in Tomorrowland with a futuristic feel. Would be a place to check out within the park.

Yelp
Stop by to get some lunch. Everywhere is packed with people but we were able to get seats. This is another place where you can grab a quick bite without waiting for too long. There are multiple register where you order and the food came relatively quick. We had ordered the triple b chicken sandwich and a chicken strip kids meal. Both came with fries and drinks. I like how they offer kids meal which included a juice box.

Yelp
We ate here for lunch while we were enjoying the sights Tomorrow Land had to offer! This is a Quick Meals place to have a walk up order and try to find a table! The table are many but this place gets crowded and there definitely isn't enough tables. The concept is cafeteria styled. Self serve and pick up your own condiments and plasticware with the meal plan drinks were included! The staff keeps on top of the housekeeping! My favorite is the Chicken Tenders and Fries in any of these quick meal areas! The crowded seating does detract from this area but the friendly efficient staff adds to it!

Yelp
This is absolutely repulsive, horrific and highly over priced. Note that you get fries with the burgers so do not need to order extra unless you are hungry. Mobile order for quicker pickup. Dining in the place is gen pop central. Everything about it is sub-par. Magic Kingdom too - it's old, it's crusty and it's got nasty food choices everywhere.

Yelp
Best chicken strips on property. They don't have a lot of desserts or special drinks options but it's a good spot for a quick service meal with mobile order. Lots and lots of seating in a nice air conditioned space but the tables are very close together so it feels very stuffy and squishy. Avoid during MVMCP. Cookie pick up makes it insane.

Gina I.

Yelp
Awful. Me and my three friends ate the chicken strips, and our day was ruined. We all got the worst stomach ache of our life and our school trip was ruined. I am not writing this for the cafe, I'm writing it for the Disney families. So they can have an amazing trip and not get the chicken strips. Thank you. NO CHICKEN STRIPS

Yelp
Pretty good for a quick snack. A good amount of seating inside and outside under shelter when it rains. The chicken tenders and bbq sauce were solid. Nothing special, but works in a pinch.

Yelp
A long morning at the magic kingdom calls for cosmic rays. I have been coming here since I was little. I like that they update the menu every once in a while. The food is always fresh and the line is always long.
google avatar

Yelp
I had lunch here on Friday. I did the mobile ordering from the Disney app and it definitely made it fast to get our food. There was a long line if you didn't do mobile ordering. I had the vegetarian plant based patty melt sandwich with the Impossible burger patty with french fries. The sandwich bread was a little dry I would have preferred it on a hamburger bun instead. My son had the chicken strips with french fries. We got the lunar lemonade and the Sulley slush drink. Both were good. We got the Stitch blueberry lemonade mousse cake. It looked cute and was delicious.

Yelp
IN DOOR SEATING WITH AIR CONDITIONING THEY DO MOBILE ORDER!!! While I completely understand some people prefer to order in person, the lines here at Cosmic Ray's can be super long so I will always opt to mobile order. PROS of mobile order - skip the line, short wait for your food, and you can order while in line for something else and set a later pick up time. CONS of mobile order - you can't customize things like you can in person, not everything is on the mobile order menu, you'll still have to wait a bit for your food to be ready. Triple B burger - great burger, delicious toppings, comes with fries Angus cheeseburger - same great burger patty, yummy sauce, good size, comes with fries Kids chicken tenders and fries - perfect size for a toddler/young children, better than expected chicken tenders! Kids Mac and cheese - decent size, my 3 YO enjoyed it The ambiance is fabulous! First of all, we went in June so lunch in doors with A/C was a must and it was jammed but great. Cosmic Ray plays the keyboard while you dine - great touch. The staff were so friendly and helpful and more than willing to hand out cups of ice water to try to beat the heat.

Yelp
We ordered online after finding this place and the menu on the Disney app, with pictures. We ordered a cheeseburger and fries to share. It did not take long before we got our food at the pickup window. Both food items were good, and we were able to find a table quickly before we ordered. We've eaten here several times, and the food has always been good. But the one thing we do not like is the lack of tables for patrons. We have only ordered food here when we could find a table first. Usually it was not at a prime time for diner or lunch.

Yelp
I enjoyed my time here! Are these the best burgers ever, no, but the customer service was great! These workers have great systems in place for people with allergies. I did not feel like an inconvenience ordering my food. I think Jonathan was the name of the representative that helped me. This place was very busy but they move quickly. Great job, Disney! The restaurant was clean and I was happy to see they had allergy safe cookies too.

Yelp
We stopped for dinner while we were at Magic Kingdom and this was an excellent choice. Between us we had some chicken fingers with fries and, a Triple-B burger while all I had was an order of french fries. Everything was really good and we were all happy with our meal. The burger is an Angus beef patty with bacon, cheddar spread, crispy, onions, and Coca-Cola cherry barbecue sauce on a brioche bun served with french fries. It really sounded fantastic as does the grilled chicken sandwich that comes with the same toppings. Service was fast and friendly. We even had to notify them of an allergen which actually takes a little extra time. It's a fairly open concept café with plenty of room to get around and lots of seating. They have a room where they actually have little stage shows at times, thankfully we did not have to deal with one of those. A really good place to eat if you are on property.

Yelp
Pre-order. This seems to be the spot for lunch so lines can get long. Clean spot for good food.

Yelp
This is a decent spot to get a quick meal in the Magic Kingdom. The impossible burger and kids mac and cheese were pretty good, but not amazing. Sonny Eclipse provides a bit of entertainment to kick up the atmosphere just a notch.
google avatar

Brittany V.

Yelp
Chicken tenders and fries were good, although management needs a better system when waiting for food. The customer basically has to wait for someone to "look" at the receipt; hoping an employee looks at it. It takes a long time to be seen. Need better system, employees just standing around oblivious to customers.
google avatar

Yelp
It's a quirky, some may say outdated eatery. It's really basic and common park cafeteria food. But I'd say safe go to foods for kids. It may not be impressive to parents, but the offerings are something that kids are comfortable with. Sometimes they do have some really good specials, but it's rare. I highly recommend doing mobile order on the My Disney Experience app that way you can find a sit and wait until your order window is announced on your app. Plus the line for live in person order can get really long. It can get pretty crazy inside. There's always seating outside but indoors can be insane. Almost 99.9% of the times I've been in there, there has been a fight over indoor tables, especially the room where "Sonny Eclipse" is. Last trip i watched a grown man knock over a stroller with a baby in it to grab a table. Thankfully everyone around was up in arms for the poor family against that bad man. Baby was ok , thank goodness.

Yelp
Cosmic rays is the definition of quick meal. Burger, fries, chicken tender, anything of the like its here. It can be packed very fast so mobile order and seating reservations will help. The food is good, nothing out of this world. I've tried nearly everything at this place and never was disappointed, but I wasn't blown either. It's like a McDonald. If you have picky eaters they should get something here easily. The ambiance if like a space dining where an alien sing and do pun jokes.
google avatar

Camille G.

Yelp
When it comes to good quick service places at Magic Kingdom, the pickings are indeed slim. However, of the options they have, I often find myself coming back to Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe. Located in Tomorrowland, this quick service eatery has a variety of standard theme park/fast food fare, like hamburgers and chicken strips. They also have some chicken sandwich options, salads and some plant based items. Mobile ordering here is definitely easier and faster than ordering in-person. Usually when I've ordered in-person the workers get very kerfuddled (and since I'm usually in the parks by myself and only ever order one thing, it makes it all the more baffling.) But for the most part the cast members that I've come across that work here have all been very pleasant. The theming is adorable. It's got that retro future/space vibe to it, as it is in Tomorrowland, but the main highlight is in the largest dining room where you can see Sonny the alien singing songs and playing his electric keyboard. This animatronic is just classic non-IP Disney magic, and it's fun to sit and watch him. At least when it's not busy. Most of the time that particular dining hall is jam packed with families, and during special events the space is used for the Disney Junior Dance Parties, making the space and especially the noise extra chaotic. The food is for the most part, average at best or straight up nasty at worst. They have a tendency to change out menu items from time to time. For example, during the 50th Anniversary celebration they had this spicy chicken sandwich that was the BOMB! Literally the tastiest thing I had ever eaten at that restaurant! But then they got rid of it, only to replace it with a different spicy chicken sandwich that didn't use the same type of chicken Pattie's the previous sandwich had, so it wasn't nearly as good. The best time to eat here is right before park closing. Not only is it not as busy, but the food actually tastes better that late. I can't explain the logic, but those chicken tenders hit different that late at night. All in all, Cosmic Ray's is an adorable quick service location at Magic Kingdom. While the food is nothing special and the quality is hit or miss, it's better than the other quick service locations at Magic Kingdom. Trust me when I say, get the chicken strip meal around closing. They're really good!

Yelp
Still our go to quick service spot at Magic Kingdom. They actually have quite a lot of seating inside as well as outside (but a lot of the times we try to avoid outside since it is hot). We grabbed the first table we saw when we walked in which had a great view of Cosmic Ray, which honestly before this I didn't realize there was an animatronic on the stage. My kids found him mildly entertaining, but not enough for me to always search for a seat there. When you face the mobile order area I found there is even more seating to the right. There was a bunch of empty tables. Now I know that there's even more seating than I thought. The fries are really good. They are thin and crunchy. Since I got a burger that came with fries I got the kids apple slices. Together they shared one kids chicken tender meal with double apple slices. They actually ate a couple apple slices so it was worth getting for me. Especially since mine came with a lot of fries. The burger was pretty good. My husband got the chicken sandwich and we discovered my younger son loves bacon. It came with a random sauce on it, that my husband had to scrape off, so just a heads up if you have basic taste like my husband does. This time it was pretty quick for our food to be ready and no line at mobile order for pick up, but the park was also very empty on this day. We will definitely always stop here when we need a quick bite.
google avatar

Paula W.

Yelp
Quick service snacky foods. We got the cheeseburger, chicken tenders, and fries. It wasn't the greatest meal we had at the park, and it definitely was not the worst. There is plenty of seating, and the AC works well for those hot Disney days. I would come back for a quick bite at ok prices.
google avatar

Joann V.

Yelp
3 stars I only ordered one item to split with mom - the footlong chili cheese dog w/ chili cheese fries. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that their beef chili is quite tasty. And, dare I say it? The hot dog tasted better than Costco's (but the price is like 13x markup). The first bite was the best, but it started feeling saltier and saltier as I progressed through the meal. Since I split the meal with my mom, it didn't feel too heavy. Price was what I predicted - around $15 - $20. There was plenty of seating and the wait wasn't too long. Skip the soda or bring your own! Magic Kingdom, unlike Disneyland, allows food and drinks into their parks!
google avatar

Rubio R.

Yelp
Lots of seating in this place and the restrooms were very clean. I ordered the kid's meal bc I wasn't very hungry and the chicken tenders were huge and I got tons of fries. It definitely filled me up. The tenders weren't bad but they weren't anything to brag about either. It was just food bc I was hungry. There are better places to eat at when you're at Disney.
google avatar

Innas I.

Yelp
During the day, they offer mobile order. One of my favorite quick service locations in magic kingdom due to the large indoor dining area. No mobile order available during special events, but the food offerings were so good.

Yelp
Cosmic ray's starlight cafe is a Walt Disney world indoor cafe style eatery located in the Tomorrowland portion of magic kingdom park. Pretty unique in that it is a sit down establishment that has the more traditional quick eat/concession type foods with some decent options. The inside also features a cool animatronic music show that features a character named Sonny eclipse who is like a talk show host/lounge singer. Fun and cute little show that takes maybe 20-30 min to sit through and stays on repeat. Like all Disney eateries they are overpriced. Although this isn't the fine dining $50 a plate type eateries so it is a more affordable setup. You walk up to a concession area and place your order. They prepare your food then you take it to a register and pay. After that you are free to dine by Sonny eclipse or in a few other normal sit down type rooms. In the past here we have stuck with the classic pizzas, chicken tenders and burgers which taste the same at all places located inside all 4 of the major Disney world theme parks. My last visit I got a chili cheese dog and it was a different option then I've seen. It was massive actually! Kinda a pleasant surprise. The hot dog wasn't the greatest tasting. More of a sausage type. But it was still a Nice filling and different meal than I've had at Disney before. Overall we always enjoy starlight rays. The animatronics show is fun and unique and it gives you an affordable and comfortable place to sit down and dine indoors.

Yelp
A very good substitute We like going to the Tomorrowland Terrace when in the Magic Kingdom, it is a large place with tons of seating. It was also closed yesterday. They list it now as seasonally open. Disappointed, we looked for another place and came up with Cosmic Ray's. Turned out it was a very good substitute. Cosmic Ray's is another huge place. You order at food bays, order and pay at a register and walk forward to pick up your food one its ready. I didn't realize not all bays are the same until I read that in another review, but the bay I visited had something I wanted, a Greek style salad with chicken. The process was a bit slow. Once I had my food I searched for my wife, who had already found a table. My salad wasn't quite as good as I hoped, having had a similar salad a few days earlier with Grilled chicken at Animal Kingdom. This chicken for this salad wasn't grilled and wasn't purported to be. Still it was fine, and a nice change from burgers and fries.

Yelp
My husband and I decided to stop in at Cosmic Ray's for lunch while at Magic Kingdom. I love the mobile ordering process at WDW! It makes life so much easier - especially for me with being gluten free. My big complaint about eating gluten free anywhere in WDW is that it takes SO much longer than what it feels like it should take. I also, at the same time, don't want to complain because I know they are taking excellent care to prevent cross contamination and all that - which I appreciate! As with everything in WDW, it is expensive. However, this was one of the lesser expensive quick service places in MK. I ordered the hot dog, which came with fries, and hubs ordered a bacon cheeseburger. The hot dog was $12.29 and the burger was $12.79 (plus tax, of course). Y'all - this hot dog out Costco hot dogs to shame, size wise. This thing was SO stinking big there was no way I could eat it all! It was good! I do wish there were other toppings/condiments besides ketchup and mustard (I think there was relish, but I can't remember). I love sauerkraut on my hot dogs. They put all the veggie topping for hubs burger on the side, which was awesome. The fries were amazing! I would definitely eat at Cosmic Ray's again.

Yelp
Pretty crappy. We didn't have high expectations for this, but it was easy to order in advance and it's a huge space so we knew we could at least count on it for sustenance. I think the biggest let down is that the chicken tenders were so subpar that my five year old wouldn't take more than one bite of them, and fellow parents, you know when you like..NEED your kid to eat something? Like they're in the worst imaginable mood and you've got a full day ahead of you at DisneyWorld and they'll feel immensely better if they just eat half of what's in front of them? That's where we were and this place still let us down. My chicken sandwich had a bun that must've been left out for a week, it was part rock. The chicken itself was kinda gnarly too, with half of it being nearly impossible to chew. But hey, at least it cost a lot of money! I think you kind of just have to hope for the best at these kind of spots.

Yelp
With mobile order available through the Disney World app, Cosmic Ray's was a convenient choice for us during our busy day at Magic Kingdom. It was extremely packed around lunchtime, but it didn't take long (maybe 15 min) for our food to be ready. We had trouble finding seating both inside and out, but eventually found a table. I recommend getting one of your friends to find a table while you wait on the food. Bathrooms on-site. A toppings and condiment station are available. It's a simple menu of burgers, chicken, and fries but the food was all good. I also ordered a Greek salad from here for dinner and it was a large portion size and very filling. They will give you a to-go box if you ask. They have a few fun Disney themed desserts like a Monsters Inc Sully slush and some kind of Stitch pudding. Prices are high but that's expected at Disney (for 4 people, it was about $60-70). I think if you're trying to take advantage of all there is to do in the park, mobile order at a place like Cosmic Ray's is the way to go!

Yelp
This was my first time at Magic Kingdom so I just wanted a quick meal before getting back to the rides. My bf and I did a mobile order via the Disney app and it was ready within ten minutes. For Disney, I thought the pricing was very reasonable. We ordered chicken tenders with fries and a bacon cheeseburger with fries. We were starving so we dug right into our meals. It wasn't until we were halfway through we realized that they forgot the bacon on our cheeseburger. Other than that, we had no issues. Food was really good for being quick service. As far as seating went, we were able to snag a table outside. Would suggest having someone in your group secure a table while others wait for the food.

Yelp
This place is great when you need something basic. Like basic chicken tenders or a salad. And of course there is Sonny the dj Alien

Yelp
Typical fast food place inside Disney. Burgers, tenders, fries, and surprisingly tasty salads all priced more than what you'd pay in town. Peak times are hard to find a table and it's a bit loud as people talk over the 1950s-60s themed music played by a (mostly) stationary mechanical dinosaur behind a piano. Disney does keep the place remarkably clean. I think the move here is to find a table and do a mobile order while someone holds your table for your group.

Yelp
Great way to get half way decent food at a fast service restaurant! One of the few that actually has air conditioning!

Yelp
The hot dogs were huge and fairly juicy. The bread wasnt the best... Very fragile. They do offer ketchup and relish but not onion. I got the chilli one which was ok.. wasn't the biggest fan of the beans in the chili. Came with a large side of fries. Prices were fairly reasonable given the option size. Large indoor seating area.

Yelp
We Came Around 10:30AM! Good Thing We Did. The Crowds Showed Up Out Of No Where As We Were Leaving! It Is True... Humans Are Conditioned To That "Breakfast Time" "Lunch Time" Mentality. So, Get There Before Or After That. I Ordered The 1971 Meal Which Came With The BBQ Chicken Sandwich, Chili Cheese Fries And A Drink For $19.71! We Also Had The Hot Dog, Side Fries, Cosmic Bacon Cheese Burger And The Minnie Mouse Souvenir 50th Anniversary Sippy Cup!

Yelp
Ok, now why would you put the mobile pick up spot in between two registers so everyone glares at you when you try to get through them? They have decent food and quick service and a lot of seats inside and outside.

Yelp
We stopped in here for dinner during our Halloween party. One negative is they turn off mobile ordering for that. The wait to order was super long, but once we got to that point, the food came out quickly. They have a decent amount of seating inside as well as outside. I had the kids bbq chicken sandwich. It was ok, nothing amazing, but a nice change from the usual kids chicken tenders or hamburgers. Back in the day they use to have a cheese sauce on the toppings bar, but due to Covid and cuts all of that is gone which is a bummer. Typical theme park food. Kids meal was a nice portion that all three of us adults ordered.

Yelp
5 stars for mobile ordering! This lunch spot was fantastic!!! This experience made the trip!! Mobile ordered through the Disney app. Picked up food and sat in the So very nice and cold a/c of the restaurant. We had plenty of space in the section we chose. Bathrooms were easily accessible and clean! My spicy chicken sandwich I ordered was delish... The kitchen did a fantastic job! Our next trip to Disney we will do this again!!! Staff kept areas clean!!!! Walt Disney World does a marvelous job of keep it the most magical place on earth! Respectfully, Bryan Yukon, Oklahoma

Yelp
I've been here twice now only because I skipped eating breakfast at the resort and I feel like it's just a place to fulfill hunger if you really have nowhere else to go for food. Ordered food through the app, but there was a very big delay in my mobile pickup order line, so I went to a different pickup line and they fulfilled my order. Be aware of this if someone is holding up your line and you see another one that is moving faster. There is always plenty of seating, so it's also nice if you are also looking for a spot indoors to cool down and just rest your legs.

Yelp
We had lunch at Cosmic Ray's during our visit at Magic Kingdom, located at Tomorrowland. It's a counter service restaurant with the exterior still stuck with 1980s futuristic vibe. The best part of this place is you get to see Cosmic Ray perform while you enjoy your meal. Now the weakest aspect of this place is the food, here you will find the standard burgers and chicken tenders. My burger was very bland and bun was super dry, the tenders were also low on flavors. This is the same burgers and tenders served in other generic Disney counter service. Usually Disney food is better when they expand from the usual fast food menu. I made the promise no matter how desperate I will never eat here again!

Yelp
The hot dog was expected to be huge and wow did they deliver. That hot dog can feed 2-3 people if you really wanted. The fries were good, average. And the chicken tenders were crunchy but had a weird aftertaste to it. The prices were reasonable for Disney and the portion size that we got, so not mad at that. We were full after it, just got a weird feeling in the tummy too.

Yelp
TRID Discovered the cosmic wonders at 'Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe,' where flavors from beyond the galaxy converge. 'Nebula Nosh' and 'Galactic Delight' elevated Trid's taste buds. Trid asks... Reduce venus' glow from neptune's slow, add the rings of saturn and pluto's distant woe. What celestial number dances in this cosmic glow?

Yelp
Found my way to Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe after approaching my beloved Casey's Hot Dog on Main Street and seeing a sign on the door that said to enjoy hot dogs at Cosmic Ray's. I don't think I've been to Cosmic Ray's since I was 10 years old, but I was willing to make the visit if it meant I could satisfy my Casey's craving. Not sure if we were just hungry or if they've just fused a majority of the quick service options into Cosmic Ray's, but my husband and I enjoyed our meal. It was an inexpensive meal that was priced accordingly to the fare of the food, quality, and quantity. If you're looking for a quick bite to eat with some classic theme park food (i.e. burgers, hot dogs, chicken tenders, etc.), Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe is a solid option. Located in Tomorrowland at Magic Kingdom, Cosmic Ray's offers diners a quick service option while visiting the park. During COVID, Cast Members (CMs) were stationed outside directing guests to order their food through the mobile system on the My Disney Experience (MDE) app. Since guests were not allowed inside without a text indicating their order was ready, CMs were outside assisting guests with placing their mobile orders. They were helpful and patient working with families. The wait time for the food once we placed our order through MDE was reasonable. A notification was sent to my phone to let me know our order was ready, in which we were directed to the pickup area where the registers are located. Our order was pretty straightforward. My hubby had a bacon cheeseburger with fries and I had a chili cheese hotdog with Cuties. The food was good and did its job of getting us full. The chili cheese hotdog was massive, but super delish! Good amount of chili and cheese and a nice soft bun. Definitely shareable. The burger and fries were pretty standard. Nothing too memorable, but nothing to make you grossed out. Although Cosmic Ray's may not generally be on my top quick service options at Magic Kingdom, it is one of the few open right now and is doing the job to fill the void of many of our quick service favorites. Eat inside and enjoy the tunes and jokes of the beloved Sonny Eclipse, a Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe legend. NOTES (from our visit): - You need a park ticket and currently park reservation at Magic Kingdom to dine at Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe. A dining reservation cannot be made since this is a quick service establishment. - AP discount was not applicable to dining at this restaurant. - No dining plans are currently being offered.

Yelp
Unless you want to have a Space Mountain rollercoaster simulation in your tummy, I highly advise you to skip some of the worst intergalactic cuisine at Magic Kingdom. The salads are really, really bad and I feel sorry for whoever had to grow those vegetables to be put in those salads. The dressing is horrid and there is a lot of it. Your safest bet is the chicken tenders; this is kind of the only passable dish. If you REALLY need to eat here, just get the chicken tenders. On the plus side, there's a lot of seating inside. On the minus side, you have to wait a long time for your order, which is weirdly expensive even for Disneyworld. You're better off eating popcorn for lunch at a random cart than going here. Your only reason for going here is to use the restroom (which is not well kept) or to veg out at a table to escape the humid and hot Florida weather.

Yelp
The grilled chicken sandwich was not good and needs to be retired. I was expecting a lightly seasoned fillet, some lettuce and tomato. instead it was drowned in an extremely cheap sugary BBQ sauce and had crumbs of burned onion straws. The interior is nostalgic but clearly faded and old. I don't appreciate paying premium money to get packed in to a place I'm going to spend an hour and twenty minutes in line for multiple attractions quoted for 30 minutes and then being offered garbage food in a tired quick service dining area. It's 2024. Let's keep up. This place was cool 25 years ago. It shouldn't look like it aged that long. Cosmic Ray's can offer simpler fresher food for the same price. KISS

Yelp
Cosmic Rays is our go to place for a meal when we're at Magic Kingdom. We usually gravitate towards the right side of the park and begin in Tomorrowland and Fantasyland and this is a central location to grab a bite when we want to sit inside the a/c. Their options are pretty basic but there will be something for everyone. Burgers, Chicken Tenders, Hotdogs, and Salads are mostly served here. There have self serve condiment stations so they have all the fixings you'll need. We use mobile ordering, find a place to sit, and wait till they call us when the order is ready. The great thing about Cosmic Rays is that you can mobile order up until park closing- tonight that's 11:00 so you can sit and eat while the crowds disperse at park closing.
