I recently stopped by the Costco Food Court in New York during a shopping visit, and it turned out to be a really enjoyable and satisfying experience. After hearing so much about Costco’s food court over the years, I finally got to try it — and it didn’t disappoint.
We ordered the classic hotdog and soda combo and a couple of slices of pizza — both cheese and pepperoni. First of all, the hotdog was exactly what I expected — warm, juicy, with that perfect snap when you bite into it. Paired with a cold soft drink (included in the combo for just $1.50!), it felt like one of the best deals you can get in NYC.
The pizza slices were surprisingly big, fresh out of the oven, and loaded with cheese. The crust had a good bite to it and wasn’t too greasy. The pepperoni slice had a nice balance of flavor, and the cheese slice was simple but satisfying. For the price, it’s honestly hard to beat. Each slice was under $2, which feels like a steal, especially in a city where even a basic lunch can be quite expensive.
The food court itself is no-frills, clean, and efficiently run. There was a short line, but it moved quickly. Seating is limited, but we managed to find a table without much trouble.
If you're a Costco member (or with someone who is), I’d absolutely recommend grabbing a quick bite here. It’s tasty, affordable, and hits the spot — especially after shopping or walking around the city.
