There is a gentleman who works as a cashier here and he has the greatest sense of humor. He is deaf, but I understand him completely and his sense of humor is unbeatable! He is funny, he is happy, He talks about his ducks and he lets me know that’s his team by writing it on my Receipt, I love it I smile every single time and so do my kids. He makes Costco bearable, after a long day of shopping, you have a the best cashier in the world to cash you out and he deserves all the credit in the world for that, he goes above and beyond his job description and should be rewarded accordingly. What a fantastic individual, thank you I always look forward to my trips and so do my kids especially when you are working!!! Thank you for a great experience every single time!

Came to Costco for one thing and left with so much more! Not very busy on a Tuesday afternoon. My wife loves shopping here.

Safe to say my daughter was thrilled to see her favorite energy drinks at Costco! Always a pleasure shopping here.

I’ve been shopping at Costco Wholesale for a while now, and it’s consistently been a great experience. I really appreciate the quality of the products and the value you get for the price, especially when buying in bulk. The Kirkland Signature brand has honestly surprised me — a lot of their items are just as good, if not better, than the big-name brands. One of the things I enjoy most is the variety. Whether I need groceries, household items, vitamins, or even clothes, I can usually find everything in one trip. The store is clean and well-organized, even when it’s busy, and the staff has always been friendly and helpful when I’ve had questions. The checkout process is also smoother than I expected, considering how packed it can get. Lines move quickly and efficiently. And of course, I can’t forget the food court — that $1.50 hot dog and soda combo is still unbeatable! Overall, Costco has saved me time and money, and I always feel like I’m getting solid value for my membership. Definitely one of my favorite places to shop.

So I love Costco, I really do! I love spending my day's there idly walking around, it's by far better than Target for the average middle class, stay at home mom. Wonderful! That was until today, when I first met Ron. I was in the check out minding my own business and I noticed that Ron wasn't putting my groceries in boxes, now I'm used to people asking me when I first get there if I want anything boxed. But not wrong, he just started throwing my groceries in there, so I asked "is there any way to box these?" Now I don't know if Ron was deaf, or I was being blatantly ignored, so I asked slightly louder "can we box everything except the boxes please?" But nope, not Ron. So now I have all my groceries thrown into my backseat being harassed by the turns of the road and bruising my bread. Not wonderful! THANKS RON!

I was a Costco virgin until a few weeks ago. Good value on some products. Happy employees make shopping experiences nice. They need more Certified Organic products. To easy to spend too much money in this place. Have a list and be smart.

Google
I've only been a member of Costco for 34 years so I don't know if I have much to base my opinion on. 😂 You can't get much better than Costco. I don't know what they are doing with their employees but they've got the happiest most eager to please people I've ever seen. Customer service is terrific and the prices speak for themselves.

Google
CostCo is 'CostCo'! However, visiting this location isn't so bad. Parking is decent, but always busy matter what time a day you go. All that predictability said, I will say the staff regularly are consistently helpful and feels like a pretty well oiled machine. I don't mind coming to this location. The last area I lived in was so bad, I let my membership go.

Yelp
Every time I come here, I have a great experience and friendly conversation with the associates. The selection is hit and miss sometimes, but I appreciate Costco treating their employees well and supporting DEI. This last time I got a stern talking to from a tall door greeter in his late 40's... for using the Tire Center restroom (I am very very vividly 9 mo pregnant, 3 days away from my due date and needed the closest bathroom I could find). And proceeded to tell me to "not have an attitude next time" after lecturing me as I came out of the restroom. Last time I was here, an employee directed me to use this restroom that is APPARENTLY nOt FoR tHe PUbLiC or anyone 9 months pregnant, about to pee herself :) sorry pal, I'll pee myself next time. :)

Yelp
My husband and I buy a few regular items here (that no longer includes rotisserie chicken) but our list does include extra virgin first cold-pressed olive oil, Malden sea salt, paper products, and Dungeness crab in season. I love how Costco is managed and the sweet folks wo work here. I really want to give them five stars but I can't because of the problems with the way the rotisserie chickens are treated.

Yelp
Costco battery warranty. If you didn't know, the "full replacement" warranty on Costco's Interstate brand batteries (the only brand the sell now) was retroactively changed to a "limited" warranty. The recent cold weather caused my 15 month old battery to fail, so I brought it in to exchange it. I was charged $70.00 for a replacement of my battery that still had 21 months on the warranty. I was a little upset; I've been buying my truck batteries from Costco since it was called Price Club, and the couple of times they have failed I was given a new battery. Apparently, prorated warranties are legall; Costco lost a class action suit last year and previous customers were paid back but but the judge only required Costco to "notify" new customers of the change by email and on their web site. The counter guy was not polite, I could tell he was tired of explaining this to customers. He rudely said, "If you want to complain there's a box over there". Then he walked away saying "Have a good one". So, this encounter, combined with my concerns about the amount of waste that Costco packaging generates, is making me reconsider my membership (which I've had since the 1980's).

Yelp
I can't even make this up. The Costco tire center CRASHED AND TOTALED OUR CAR!!!! They said to us that the guy driving had big feet. WHAT TYPE OF LAME EXCUSE IS THAT?!? they barley gave us anything to help pay for the car, we just paid off our car too. They did not give us any money at all to buy a new one. The ceo was not responding to my emails and finally I told them I need to get my attorney. They gave us a bit more money but not enough. DON'T GO HERE TO GET YOUR TIRES CHANGED!!!! THEY RAN THE CAR INTO A PULL!!!

Yelp
Amazing produce at this site Service was quick fast and they were really helpful Selection on produce is so fresh like your picking in your garden Value definitely worth the price I had to make a ton of sandwiches for an event set up today Meat sandwiches- Slow cook turkey /gouda/ground mustard on there yummy sliced croissant bread And some on dill bread (not at this Costco) vegetarian sandwiches- Sweet peppers I used yellow/red onion (Safeway) because I'm not a farmer I don't need a big bag ;D Cooked in slow with olive oil/salt/pepper/balsamic (already had)and spread there pesto Let the mix cool off in fridge if you want a cold wrap they went so fast by the time I dropped them off got back home I had a call 50 sandwiches was gone and I'm only 3 minutes away Thanks Costco you rock

Yelp
I am staying in Medford for a couple of weeks for school, so of course, I needed to come here for supplies! LOL! They have exactly what I need to survive...chicken and croissants! Ok, I also got some baby mixed greens, blueberries, apples and baby carrots. The store layout is good, the staff pretty friendly. I read they're cracking down on self-service and checking IDs. The people who try to skirt the system really screw it up for the rest of us. If you don't like it, just go to the checkout. This location is pretty solid! I do like that they have the cafe inside!
google avatar

Yelp
This seemed like a larger Costco than I had ever been to. We got gas before entering the store and were surprised they had separate lines to pump your own gas or have the attendant pump your gas. That was a nice plus that we didn't have to get out to do that.
google avatar

Yelp
Great selection but lord Jesus the minute people walk in that door and show their card they lose their mind. All politeness and consideration go out the window. Great people that work there and the food selection is great. Beer price is ridiculously high but that's on the state of Oregon.

Yelp
Quality/Quantity - Another chicken bake, might be my last one for a while. And this one was HUGE, see picture. So large that I had to cut it into 3 pieces just to fit it on my plate. Great to have Costco as a pit stop during my road trips, but I think I hit my max on Costco's food court... I did NOT check for the local beers, as I do NOT think I can fit any more stuff into my truck. Atmosphere - Consistent, see previous Costco Yelps. Plenty of parking. Best gas prices. Easy in and out of freeway. Thank you. Service - Consistent. Food court. Gas station. Tire service. Pharmacy. Optical department. Hearing aids. And of course the usual - deli, produce, bakery, and meat. Price - $2.99. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success at this location since 1991. Congrats on all your success since 1976, since Price Club. Now you are the 5th largest retailer in the world and #10 on the Fortune 500. 804 warehouses worldwide, with 558 in the US. 1980 IPO. 1993 Price Club and Costco merger. 1997 Rebrand all locations to Costco. 2020 105.5 million members.

Yelp
Location is neat, clean & orderly with kind and very helpful employees unlike Costco in eureka. I will always make the decision to travel to Medford Costco with the vast selection in products. Our kind cashier was helpful and asked if we would like a box for our items & even put all our items away. This is the kind service I'm accustomed to when I come to Costco thankfully Medford Costco has great customer service.

Yelp
I was at Costco in Central Point, Oregon today and want to share a great experience I encountered in the parking lot with Ruben . I'm 72 years old and was trying to put 2 cases of water in my car when Ruben was collecting shopping carts . Without me asking he came over to see if I needed help . Ruben needs to be recognized and rewarded for his kindness. This is the first time any employee has asked in parking lot if I needed help in several years . Thank you Ruben !!!
google avatar

Kathy S.

Yelp
We've had several experiences here where the employees are rude and order customers around like cattle "membership card" and then they point for us to go to this line or that line. No customer service, no kindness. The store is always stuffed and they've placed the registers right in front of the food court so the crowds of customers leaving the registers have to go through the lines of people waiting for food. Hopefully they will train their employees to have a better attitude with customers and at least use "please" and "thank you" & move the food court or the registers so there's a better flow.

Yelp
I once thought Costco was a good place to shop, now its monumentally better with their stance on DEI. A real AMERICAN company.

Michael C.

Yelp
Dan at self check out is rude and has treated me poorly the past two times I have visited this Costco he should be re taught customer service

Margaret G.

Yelp
I am very disappointed that you no longer have the six pack muffins. I bought a package of the new raspberry muffins and the first one had just one raspberry in the whole muffin. Plus there were no poppyseed muffins at all. You should have kept the same recipe and flavors and just increased the price if necessary

Yelp
What good are the Tire Center's "promotional tire sales" if the tires are not in stock. I inquired about 3 different tire models for my car, all out of stock during the "sale." They say 2-10 days the tires will be shipped to the store. What good does that do me now? And why should I pay for them now, while they float my money for 10 days. Their revolving tire sales are an insult and a joke.

Yelp
It has EVERYTHING!! Parking is easy and the store is stocked and clean. There's always a crowd but I've found that later in the afternoon works for me.

Kat S.

Yelp
Customer service is very poor at this location, more like Nazis than kind & courteous. The food court is a mess, wrong place to put it.
google avatar

Sunny D.

Yelp
It is Costco! Who wouldn't recommend Costco? Judging from the crowds, no one! The lines are long, but evidently worth the wait!
google avatar

Kameren H.

Yelp
Been coming to costco to eat at the food court for YEARS and they never required a costco card. I dont have one right now as I haven't had the money to renew it. I try to go in to get lunch like I always have and they didn't let me in, saying they have always required the card, when that definitely isn't the case. I ended up wasting my whole lunch break. Had they had said go ahead and get it, but now you know for next time that would have been different but flat out saying no to something that has always been available isn't great service.

Diane S.

Yelp
Good value and good prices. Can be crowded at times with long lines. Employees are friendly for the most part.

Yelp
If you know Costco, you know what to expect. It's pretty much standard at all the Costco's across the land. We'd taken a break from having a membership for around 4 or 5 years. I finally broke down, and said, eh, what the heck, let's go get a membership. I have several big ticket items I want to get this year, so why not? There are certain things here I had missed. I paid for the executive membership, because hey, at least you get some money back. It took us a solid 3.5 hours walking around the massive store, about a $400 bill worth of stuff piled up in the cart, and a much needed very late lunch of hotdog, soda and strawberry sundae. We had a nice outing and got some good stuff. Not everything here is a good deal, be careful! Some stuff you can get at a better price at a regular supermarket. Best deals are their sale items, and certain stuff you can't get elsewhere. Just cause it's in bulk, doesn't mean they are giving you a better price...its sometimes worse! And sadly the samples have decreased to only a couple stations, eeesh. But overall I do like and enjoy Costco! I find great deals on good stuff, and I enjoy tasting new things I've never had before. I like their returns policy. I enjoy that there is so much to see in there, its a fun experience going through all the new things. And overall, its quality items.

Yelp
I first ordered the tires on a Monday and was told they would arrive in 2 to 3 days and when they came in they'd call me to schedule an appointment. I was clear that I would like to get the appointment scheduled for that Saturday because I would be in Medford on other business. I waited until Friday at about 2:00 p.m. and called and they said my tires were there. This was frustrating because I was told I'd receive a call so we could book for that Saturday. Unfortunately that Saturday was completely booked up so I missed it because they failed to call me when the tires arrived. So I had to book for the next Saturday. I made a 12:15 appointment to drop it off on Saturday and was told the install would take 20 to 30 minutes. I arrived on Saturday and dropped the car off 15 minutes early at 12pm and was told they were backed up and that it would take an hour. This was already pretty insulting but I live far away and can't make an appointment for another day so I decided just to go with it. At 1:15 I checked with the front desk and was told there was still another half hour to 40 minutes left on the install. I was very frustrated at this point and told them I had an appointment and was told it would be 20-30 minutes. He seemed to be completely unaware that I even had an appointment. They apologized and told me they would try and get another worker to speed up the install and that they would call me as soon as it was done. At 1:45 I went to the front desk again and was told that the install had been completed and the car was ready. I never received a phone call to tell me that the install had been completed. I have a strong suspicion If I hadn't gone to the front desk I would have continued waiting and nobody would have called me. All in all this was a terrible experience that wasted a ton of my time. We completed our shopping with the idea that it was going to take an hour and it took an additional 45 minutes. During that time all of our cold items became room temperature. I would never return to this tire place.

Yelp
Great organic choices, books, clothes and household goods. Great shopping at Christmas time to find foods other area stores don't carry
google avatar

Yelp
This is a very busy Costco. Every thing is about the same at each store but they had a good selection. The lines were long but moved fast. This Costco also has a gas station.

Craig C.

Yelp
It's Costco. What more needs to be said? Store is well stocked, service is as expected and your membership comes with all the bells and whistles Let's go shoppers!

Martha Y.

Yelp
Great service, friendly staff, great pharmacy & optical departments. Prices and selection are really good.

Yelp
This is the best costco I've been too. I've lived in several different states and this one by far is the nicest, cleanest, well stocked, has the friendliness employees I've ever seen. Well done OR!

Yelp
This is a review for Costco Tire center: I called and had Costco order me new tires for my car, they took 2 weeks to come in, and they called me and scheduled an appointment to have them put on. I can in for my appointment at 4:00pm, they called my an hour and half later and stated that they tires are the wrong size but they "should be alright". I was hesitant but they assured me that they will be fine and everything would work out. The whole process took over two hours and finally I got my car and with the new tires and drove home. When I woke up this morning I had a flat tire, I had to walk my two kiddos 3 miles to childcare and take the morning off work. I got towed to Costco and had them check to see what went wrong, I guess there was a leaky valve. I asked them to please give me back my stock tires because I didn't feel safe with these wrong size tires and they told me they could not do that because they would have to go through the pile of old tires and find my specific tires and that wasn't possible. They said they could have me go buy new tires elsewhere and they would put them on for me, although I would need a vehicle to do that. I waited Another 2 hours later and I finally got my car back. I had to take 12 hours off work, walk my kids to daycare (4 miles) and pay $733 for tires that are the wrong size and the manager tried to help by offering me a $25 gift card which was appreciated, however I just don't think it equates to the inconvenience and poor service. I love Costco but this was a horrible experience, and an expensive mistake.

Jeanie S.

Yelp
I have NO rating (had to select 1 star before it would let me post) for Central Point OR Costco a for sure thumbs down for Customer Service so very disappointed in how they treated us as members for 22 years!! Would not honor the process an employee told me to do when signing up for DirecTV!!! They denied giving us a $200.00 Costco Shop Card!! After many phone calls, emails and insinuations that I was not being truthful!! Don't expect them to honor their word if they give you "directions" on a process
google avatar

Elsie D.

Yelp
Costco here on Hamrick is ok! Nothing like Hawaii! I miss my poke and seafood!! But glad they have a food court. No chocolate macadamia nuts or taro chips! Bwahahah! But thank God they have Kikkoman soy sauce and Hinode rice (nope not the 50lb bag, just the 20lb I think). They also have the mochi ice cream, frozen edamame which we love! Overall, this Costco will do. Moving here from paradise is a big difference but looking forward our life in Southern Oregon!!
google avatar

Lynne W.

Yelp
They are awesome if you buy stuff there, like food and clothing . BUT do not buy any appliances from them. Our dishwasher has been " fixed" 5 times we have had it not working then working. After awhile they need to just give us a brand new one. I tell everyone and anyone if I am shopping there and I see them looking at appliances not to spend your money there on appliances, not worth it.
google avatar

Russ S.

Yelp
The staff should be supported to enforce facemasks coverings throughout the store. Beyond that our only complaint is that we've been shopping for 50 years, we don't need to be pointed to the line that is obviously the shortest! Perhaps the person doing that could be better utilized on other tasks!.
google avatar

R M.

Yelp
The new Costco is better organized and designed inside and out except for one thing: there are no location signs in the huge parking lot. It needs some row or section indicator signs. New products regularly appear and usually are better than average. There are some excellent Asian noodle foods in the freezer, such as Yakisoba noodles with veggies and udon. They are great to have on hand when you don't feel like cooking much or forgot to stock up on fresh food. Speaking of which, Costs still has the best and largest roasted chickens of all the grocery stores that we have tried. We have purchased very few "lemons" here and the return policy is great. We buy canned goods and pastas; use a few and give the rest away over time to the local "Green Bag" (food bank) program. This way we are helping those in need and keeping a current emergency food supply.
google avatar

Yelp
I love reading the dumb a$$ trivial complaints, one less pain in the a$$ to contend with when shopping there. I love the CP Costco, one of the few to Sell diesel. The best part of shopping OR Costco's is the no sales tax!!!!

Yelp
Last year when we were up this way we learned that Costco was moving from Medford to Central Point. We always make a stop at Costco when we're here and we needed gas, so that was part of our plan for today. Last night as I was going to sleep I remembered they'd moved, so this morning I looked up the address and Nina put it in her phone. After breakfast at The Breadboard we picked up our theatre tickets at the box office and headed for Costco. We gassed up the car and then found parking near the warehouse entrance. We each had things we were looking for. I found one of them and at least two other things that sounded intriguing. The warehouse is huge and new and the people working there were helpful. Nina didn't find what she was looking for this time but we both had a good time looking at what they did have.

Shannon M.

Yelp
While visiting Medford, I decided to pick up a couple computers and was absolutely AMAZED with the help I got from Parker. His young age had me fooled - he was professional and knew about every system they had as well as others they did not carry (one I was avoiding). A man at the self-checkout area talked with me for a bit and reminded me of some sign language I had forgotten. Then another woman at the Membership counter was friendly and helped me out. The store was immaculate, clean, well-stocked and the people shopping were even friendlier than most Costco locations. I will definitely time my shopping trips to when I am in Medford!

Yelp
Huge and busy inside. There were some non mask wearers or masks that is covering half or no nose.

Yelp
I love this Costco. Love most everything about it! Produce, bulk groceries, dog stuff, housewares & seasonal items. Great employees. All good. *However* I'm firmly against using the self check out with a massive basket of items. I'm even more against the tactic of having less checkers on & putting those people on self check out to "train" customers on self check out. It's insulting. Deeply insulting. I get that self check out is helpful if you have a few things. However if I'm spending $300-800, get two people on this & get me out of here like you used to do. I just did all the walking & shopping - then I have to unload all this & organize at home. Can you help me with this one part where I also hand you a bunch of money? Oh and get rid of plastic clamshells already. They are bulky and end up in landfills. Otherwise - keep on doing what you're doing.

Yelp
I love shopping at Costco, always have. But the employees here are very rude. I remember the staff was always so upbeat and friendly. They were helpful and really took that extra step to ensure a quality experience. But now.. Oh how the times have changed. I get eye rolls and resting B face from the workers. Everyone is so miserable and blatant about it. It's like these masks they're hiding behind have also taken away their spark for customer service. No one makes eye contact, everyone is staring down at the ground avoiding the customers. As if to say "I know I work here but don't approach me." I always see the women on the front end in red vests just gabbing about their kids or their hair products. They always avoid helping people, I've noticed. But I asked for help finding something and I got an irritated sigh and it's right there! As the tatted up blond with a wrist brace growls. Also 9/10 I have to unload and box all my groceries. Years back you had fast efficient staff who would do this.. Apparently that's out of the question now. Or the short middle aged brunette with curly hair and thick glasses, squeaky voice, who checks your receipt. Well she's fake nice lol. Rolls her eyes and puts on her plastic smile that never reaches her eyes. She was very rude to a younger employee who was working much faster than her. She kept shooting daggers at her as she was processing customers at a much faster rate. I can't stand people being blatantly disrespectful. I guess I'll just shop online, I don't see the point of going in anymore it's just toxic. Amazon and Walmart are cheaper btw.

Diana W.

Yelp
Brad in the car service department, in Medford, Oregon, the best experience I've ever had.

Cha Z.

Yelp
Was happy to see selfcheck, especially when you have only one or two items, But the staff they have working that area is terrible!!!! Absolutely rude, yanked my husband card out of his hand like he didn't know what he was doing and made a sarcastic comment. Was hoping this was a one time thing since we have never had this kind of experience here and maybe she was having a bad day. Nope, go in again and they are checking cards, no big deal, it's my card. While checking out the employee comes up and asks if someone checked my card, I said yes. She then proceeds to go on a rant about people using other peoples cards and I say well this my card. She looks at me and goes you won't be able to use it next time and stomps off, I was so confused???

Yelp
The fruit is not inexpensive. When you get a container of Fuji apples and get them home cut them up and they are rotten.

Kaelynn W.

Yelp
I shop at Costco weekly. Usually, I love Costco. My last two trips to the pharmacy have been less than pleasant and always seems to be the same snaky rude pharmacist. The rest of the staff are kind and helpful.
google avatar

Sierra M.

Yelp
This is the best Costco I've been to. The people who work here aren't all grumpy old people who hate their jobs. Every time we go to check out, it's always a younger person closer to my age, with a pleasant attitude, and great humor, and are always willing to help us out when we forgot to grab something, or ended up accidentally grabbing something we didn't want/need, etc. The checkout lines are always SO SPEEDY TOO. Almost too speedy. I put my stuff on the belt when there are two people ahead of me, and by the time I turn around again with my wallet in hand, it's my turn. The sample ladies are always so nice too. Which of course is the best part of a Costco trip, right??? Even walking around down the aisles, the ones stocking shelves and such are nice and offer to help get things for us. Definitely a great Costco, I'm so glad we ended up getting a membership.

Yelp
I have been a long time member of Costco. Yesterday I went to get some food. When at the register I was told that my membership expired that day. I was told that I needed to pay for the membership right there. I didn't have the money for food and membership at the same time. I told the cashier that I was unable to do it. She said that she could get manager approval to allow me to buy my food and pay for the membership in a few days. The cashier sent her helper to get the manager. I could hear the manager say from a good distance away "tell him to pay today or we will not sell him anything". This is in front of many members who were all watching the commotion. The manager walked up to the register and said to me " you're renewing that today". I told him that I was not able to. The cashier that was standing next to him asked for an override. The manager refused. He replied that he's not doing that anymore, people take advantage. The manager looked at me and said "I'm voiding your transaction". It was embarrassing and rude. I left Costco wondering what had become of Costco. Are they hurting that bad financially that they are willing to embarrass their members? You would hope that with everything going on around the country they'd be a little more understanding. Again my membership expired that day, not months or years ago.

I went to Costco to fuel up my pick-up, it was approximately 9:30 in the morning business was light only had to wait a few minutes to pull up to the pump( since it's Oregon they have to fuel vehicle) the guy comes up and I give him my card an request it to be filled with regular, he runs the card and gives it back to me and , I thought he started the pump, a few minutes later he pulls the nozzle out of the truck indicating it was full and did I want a receipt and I replied no, I started my truck, mind you this is a 1997 ford f150 so the gas gauge is slow, I drove off thinking that it was sure taking the gauge a long time to register, drove from eagle point to so. Medford still had not moved , stopped at another gas station and asked for it to be filled thinking it would take about a gallon of fuel, it took 12 gallons, the guy at Costco never turned on the fuel to fill my truck, the people there are total AH, this is not first time I've had issues but it will be last.,I do know quite a few people that won't go there .
