"Costeaux French Bakery, a nearly hundred-year-old bakery, supplies Dutch crunch bread to Guerra Quality Meat among other clients. The bakery uses butter in the bread for added flavor and ensures a generous topping, making their Dutch crunch dark golden and truly crunchy. They bake it fresh in the morning and deliver it same day to preserve its hallmark texture." - Becky Duffett

Might be THE best breakfast sandwich I have ever had. Perfectly crispy but still soft with a great combo with the eggs, bacon, cheese, avocado, and sauce. We sat outside and the tables and setup is very nice. The inside is so pretty and looks like something out of a movie set. The hostess was so sweet, she greeted us right away and setup our table. The waiter Alex was great and did a great job.

Google
Great breakfast with excellent service in a super cute rustic french countryside setting. Many gluten free options with good code and mocha selections. Ample indoor seating with some good outside heated seating. We enjoyed the Ghirardelli Mocha very much! Opens at 730 am ahead of most places in Healdsburg to allow for a jump on a full day of wine tasting! Highly recommend!

Google
Delicious breakfast with great service. My girlfriend loves the fingerling potatoes - never change, Costeaux Fingerling Potatoes. However, we couldn’t help but notice the ‘largest pumpkin pie’ tin… upon further research, it seems this measly 418 pound pie does not come close to the true largest pumpkin pie which reaches a whopping 3699 pounds. Slightly disappointing, but we’ll still be back for those potatoes.

Google
Great cute place. It’s first come first serve and gets busy later, so go earlier. Got the French toast, chocolate croissant, scrambled eggs and bacon. All delicious. But a parenthesis for the bacon, amazing. Hot chocolate and coffee great too.

Had Breakfast in this place when we were Glamping at Sonoma. Very nice and clean place. Service and food was awesome. Fresh and tasty. Would eat here again.

Google
A great little island away from the world’s issues, and top-notch pastries. I loved the freshly squeezed orange juice, and the croissant.. and the lemon tart

French bakery lovers need to experience this one! I have been let down by multiple famous French bakeries in California, and finally I found one I love! They had an awesome selection, friendly staff, and delicious eclairs! Possibly the best eclairs ever! Plump full of real cream filling, smothered in a gob of fresh chocolate, and minimal crust. It was a bit too much chocolate for me...but I easily pealed some off and enjoyed the pastry. I will go out of my way for this place.

Always a must for brunch when we pop up to Healdsburg for wine tasting. Great food, great service, beautiful setting in central Healdsburg.

Yelp
My friend and I had a lovely lunch outside after spending the day in Healdsburg. I have been meaning to dine here for a while after I found this popular spot on a precious visit to Healdsburg. I got an Costeaux omelette with a side of crispy potatoes and a couple slices of toast. I've never had Brie with an omelette and I must say it was incredible. The creaminess of the Brie elevated the omelette. The potatoes were delicious and crispy just the way I like them. It also came with a few different slices of toast. Usually you can only choose one type of toast so this was nice to try a few different kinds. My friend loved her order as well. The service was great. Our server brought two loaves of bread to our table free of charge towards the end of our meal. What a surprise. Thank you for an enjoyable dining experience.

Yelp
5 minute wait for a 5 person table on a holiday Friday in a swanky town? Fine by me. I used this window to order a cappuccino and an "orejas" (Spanish for ears) pastry to tide me over. Their walnut cinnamon bread is fire. chorizo scramble: bangin! Chilaquiles also good with solid servin Plenty of other trinkets in holiday spirit. They have a contest going on where guests can input their estimation of the count of "nutcracker" toys contained within the restaurant. Fun! We all submitted guesses, each fueled by differing heuristics.

Yelp
Food was meh. Service was soooooooo bad. Server was honestly rude. If I could I would give less than a star

Russ M.

Yelp
Delicious food, pleasant staff and nice atmosphere. My wife had the monte Cristo and I chose Costeaux Benedict. Both were delicious, mine could have used a little bit more hollandaise, my wife loved the cranberry relish that came with hers. They also have a wonderful selection of breads, pastries and sweets to choose from.

Yelp
Perfect spot for breakfast when staying in Healdsburg! All the ingredients are very fresh and the dishes are well balanced. We ordered the lox plate and the avocado toast. I ended up using some of the lox on the avo toast and it was so delicious! We also got the french onion soup, which was very rich and cheesy -- definitely recommend. They were understaffed the day we went, so service was on the slow side, but you could tell the servers were doing their best and it wasn't a big deal.

Kat E.

Yelp
Food was yummy. I understand what other people were saying about service. Our server barely smiled at us the quiche didn't look too pretty, too dark in my opinion but still tasted good. The breakfast croissant had a good balance of filling against croissant and wasn't soggy as it tends to get sometimes

Yelp
Costeaux French Bakery in Healdsburg is a delightful spot for brunch that's sure to impress! I had the pleasure of visiting for the first time, and it was nothing short of fabulous. The onion soup was rich and comforting, and the avocado toast was fresh and vibrant--an absolute must-try. The service was impeccable, with friendly staff eager to ensure we had a wonderful experience. And...The patio is welcoming and cozy. Nice visit-the combination of great food and attentive service made for a memorable meal. I can't wait to return and explore more of their menu!

Erin S.

Yelp
I've been here many times and I can say it is a fine place to have breakfast, ambience is great and the service is always wonderful but I just don't love the way they do their food and so I'm going to share it just in case you feel the same way. The French toast which is made with their walnut bread, which is some of the most delicious bread that has ever been made on the planet is just too soggy for me. I need a less soggy French toast so if you like soggy mushy French toast this is for you. The cappuccino coffee is not good tasting. It's hard for me to explain why, it's very bitter and instead of mixing foam in with the coffee they just added it on top I couldn't finish it. My partner got the eggs Benedict and he said the Bernese is very light and not salted but he did enjoy the ham and avocado. The little basket of jam, butter and toast pieces is excellent.

DeeAnn M.

Yelp
We stopped here on our way to Mendocino to pick up bread and ended up also getting some great coffee and honestly some of the best chocolate eclairs I've had in a long time. We had called ahead to check that they still had bread as it was Thanksgiving Eve. I know, I know poor planning on our part - but the person who answered was willing to hold the last baguette for us which was greatly appreciated. The place is decked out for the holidays with a huge collection of nutcrackers everywhere you look - very fun! We had to stop on our way back home and this time we sat down and had brunch. Lox plate for my wife and croissant breakfast sandwich for me - both great. More coffee of course and yup, you guessed it - 2 chocolate eclairs for the road. Service was quick, pleasant and low key. We will definitely be back.

Yelp
I just found out that Chef Jorge Flores (formerly of Campo Fina) is now at Costeaux! And he and the team are offering an expanded menu of local, seasonal dishes. Yes, please! Friends and I recently ordered takeout lunch. I had to call a few times in order to reach a human - almost went in to order in person - but eventually reached someone and our order was placed and ready within 20 minutes. I loved the farro salad from Campo Fina so I was excited to see a similar offering now on the Costeaux menu: FARRO SALAD: roasted carrots, broccoli florets, snap peas, pea shoots, ricotta salata, citrus vinaigrette *light, fresh, full of green goodies, savory, zesty, filling from the farro, and oh-so-satisfying My friends ordered the following: VICKY'S CHICKEN SALAD: mixed baby head lettuce, achiote marinated chicken, avocado, homemade pickled jalapenos + carrots, kidney beans, queso fresco, citrus vinaigrette *the chicken was packaged separately to maintain freshness. Friend loved it. HERITAGE sandwich: journeyman meat salumi, sonoma brinery pickles, pepperoncini's, jarlsberg cheese, avocado, onions, lettuce, house made aioli, on a Costeaux sour roll + side salad *a substantial sandwich and side salad for $19 is a deal around here. Friend loved it! This is right up my alley and I'll be trying it soon! So pumped to discover a new lunch option. We'll be adding Costeaux into our rotation!

Sara Z.

Yelp
My family came here for lunch after a wine tasting. I got the Heritage sandwich and we split the baked Camembert as an appetizer. I loved the baked Camembert, it was so gooey and warm, and a little sweet. The Heritage was just okay. It had too much going on, and not all of the flavors worked well in my opinion. I only ate about half of it. My parents also ordered fries to share, which were really tasty and well done. The service was great, our server was very attentive and patient with our orders. I took a look at the desserts and wanted to get one later, but was unfortunately too full. Next time!

Yelp
Visited on a Tuesday @ 2 pm for lunch. I ordered quiche and coffee. When the quiche arrived, I thought it was a hamburger. My friend said it looked burnt. The top was carmelized, it wasn't burnt nor a hamburger. The crust was 1/4 inch thick, the filling 1/2 inch. The filling was mostly bacon and cheese with a small amount of egg, leading me to think that they cut down on the egg filling because of the egg crisis. I would have preferred to pay more than eat the cheesy-bacon pie. The pictures posted on-line look like there is more egg filling. It tasted okay. I ate 1/2 of the slice as it was too rich and ended up being too salty for my system. The side salad was very good. My friend ordered the Reuben which she said was very good, but on the way home we had to stop at a restroom as she developed diarrhea. Service was good, although we were not offered refills on coffee, probably due to it being late in the day. We did not get any pastries as they had run out of what we wanted.

Megan F.

Yelp
Cute little French inspired bistro. Great selection of food (labeled with dietary restrictions). I ordered the seasonal salad which was a perfect portion of greens topped with bleu cheese, squash, and radish. The dressing was light and flavorful and the grilled chicken was perfectly cooked and moist. Great service. Fully recommend.

Yelp
There are restaurants that make good food, and some that have very cool owners, and some with unique, decorative motifs. Costeaux has all of those elements in play, but really that just barely scratches the surface of what William K. Seppi has done with this singularly joyful French Bakery. A French bakery that makes really fluffy English Muffins for their Eggs Benedict? A restaurant that gifts you a warmed slice of cinnamon swirl bread just because they're proud of it and want to share. A restaurant owner who conducts a prize -awarded lottery for the customer whose guess of how many Nutcracker dolls adorn the cafe comes closest. I won't reveal my own guess but William insists that an estimate in excess of 600, is NOT out of line. This combination of really fun and fulfilling food with an equally fun and fulfilling dining experience makes this more than a special place for a repast. It is a once-in-a-great-while, memorable experience. Make a note. It's a must when you are in Healdsburg.

Rich G.

Yelp
Usually are experience at this restaurant is positive, but not today. Service and enthusiasm was subpar had to chase down a server for a refill on Coffee. They made us. A cheeseburger and didn't ask how we would like it and served it to us rare they need to pick up the pace here or they're gonna lose too good regular customer.s

Sabrina K.

Yelp
Upon arrival we were seated immediately. I had been wanting to try breakfast here for a long time Anna finally it was happening! I got the Costeaux Benedict and omg it's so good with all the desired benefits: traditional Canadian bacon AND real (very high quality and yummy) smoked bacon, AND avocado, AND spinach AND the hollandaise sauce was so perfectly creamy and buttery! I was able to sub salad for the potatoes which is always highly appreciate. My partner got the Quiche with Faro salad which was fabulous with everything in it ( i forget all, but mushrooms, bacon, etc etc...yum!). The ambiance is a lovely big airy open room with very high ceilings. Lots of light. We'll be back!

Kendra B.

Yelp
Very good. Service was great prices were a little high, but that kind of comes with the territory portions were kind of small but then again that is French bakery was amazing. They gave us free bread at the end of the night. We had the charcuterie board the deviled eggs and the burrata. Everything was very good. We will definitely be back when we come back in town. Also, we asked if we could sit inside because it was pretty noisy outside and we were the only ones inside so that was really cool of them. It was very clean as well.

Alexa H.

Yelp
What a fantastic spot! Beautiful ambiance, excellent service, and incredible food! We ordered the eggs Benedict and it was out of this world! Also had the chocolate chip cookie, which was also delicious. Love that there is outdoor seating, especially since we came with our dog! Highly recommend this place.

Renee R.

Yelp
To celebrate Valentine's Day, I took my mother to Costeaux, it was our first time to eat there, and we were excited to try it. While our food was delicious-we both ordered the Eggs Benedict, the service was below par. Our server was disengaged, and abrupt. We ordered coffee and water to drink. He swung by and plunked our waters on the table, then after he brought our coffee, he didn't come back. He didn't serve our food, nor did he check if we needed anything-ketchup for our potatoes? a refill on our coffee that had gotten cold? We finally saw him and flagged him down for the coffee, and had to flag him again to get our bill-this after setting our plates and napkins off to the side of the table and waiting a good 15 minutes after we'd finished our food. To top it off, my mother wanted to take home a loaf of the bread Costeaux was known for, but the selection wasn't on display. She asked the woman ringing up our pastries about a certain bread and was met by another unsmiling face and curt answer. We finally started laughing because of the abruptness of the woman after dealing with our waiter. If I didn't know better I'd think they hated their job. Hopefully it was just an off day.

Yelp
Love this place!! I've never had savory bread pudding... But OMG, if it comes up on specials when you're there, DO IT! It's not what you'd expect, and plenty for two! A meal in and of itself! Thank you, Costeaux!

Lloyd C.

Yelp
My friend wanted to try this place, so our "party of 5" :) went for breakfast/brunch. They have two entrances; a back alley entrance and the main front entrance, that is way nicer! This bakery has been around since 1923 and has won numerous awards. In addition to being in the Guinness World Record for Largest Pumpkin Pie made awarded in 2003. The ambiance and decor felt like you were in a French cafe, I can only imagine. Nice large cafe with high ceilings. Inside and outside seating available. All the servers were friendly and polite. Isabella waited on our table. Special shoutout to Kelina, who was helping customers at the counter. Kelina was very friendly, courteous, and sweet to all her customers. You could tell she loved what she was doing, not only interacting with her customers in describing her favorites or the most popular cakes and pastries. Awesome customer service! She's a keeper. Give her a raise! We ordered the following... Croissant: Butter croissant, free-range egg, applewood smoked bacon, hass avocado, cheddar cheese + seasonal fresh fruit. My friend enjoyed her sandwich and said the croissant was nice and buttery. The fresh fruit was honeydew, canteloupe, and pineapple. Bread, Butter, + Jam (full): assorted breads, butter, housemade jam (mixed berry). Good assortment to taste their different breads. French Onion Soup. This version was sweeter and rich, as opposed to other French onion soups, which are usually rich but saltier. Fingerling Potatoes: smashed + fried topped with chorizo, green onions, cilantro, chipotle aioli, two poached eggs. My friend really enjoyed this dish. All the ingredients and flavors went well, and after popping the eggs and letting all the yummy yolk run over everything, it made the dish so much richer. He had to mop all of it up with pieces of bread. He would order this again! Best Morning Burger: 4oz angus grass fed meat, spinach, chipotle aioli, cheddar cheese, avocado, sunny side egg on a Costeaux English muffin + country potatoes. The country potatoes were crispy, like little French fries. As I took my first bite of my burger, the yolk on my egg broke and ran down the patty and muffin, making it a messy but even tastier sandwich. It lived up to its name. Oatmeal Cookie. There are walnuts and cranberry in it. It's a slightly moist and chewy cookie. I liked this cookie a lot. We also ordered a Morning Bun, Almond Croissant, and Plain Croissant, and we we all sampled. The consensus was that they were all good. The croissant wasn't as flakey or as buttery as I've had. Cappuccino. My wife said it had good milk foam. I admit this was pretty good as I didn't add any sugar to it. Mocha: My wife thought her mocha with whipped cream was just ok. House Coffee: Good, but we wished we got the refill we asked for. My friend bought me a piece of Princess Cake: Two layers of white chiffon cake filled with bavarian custard, raspberry conserve & whipped cream enrobed in marzipan. Wow, this was a decadent cake. I can see why they won a Best of Show award for this cake. Sooo good! The next time we are here, the carrot cake is calling my name!

Gene D.

Yelp
I was looking forward to going to a French bakery for lunch. IMHO, I would have to say the name is a misnomer. Having French Onion Soup, Quiche, and Macarons does not make you a French bakery. Once I got past this, I would have to say it is a nice place to go for breakfast, lunch, and to get some pastries. Their Monte Cristo is not the traditional deep fried variety. However, their homemade walnut bread is a treat to have. The relish was ok; I prefer raspberry. The French Onion soup was rich, but the "bread" was placed on top rather then being under the melted cheese. Would I go back for regular bfast items? Sure. French food? No.

B. N.

Yelp
Ij I was in with my granddaughter and her other grandma for lunch before Christmas. Their Nutcrackers collection is the best and lights up the rooms. I had a simple sandwich which was very good. The service, however, was a little slow considering it was a rainy midweek day.

Koda H.

Yelp
Wonderful little bakery! Absolutely amazing interior, fully decorated for Christmas with nutcrackers covering literally every wall. The food there was delicious and their coffee was great too! I'm not normally a fan of hot brew but their Christmas brew that they offered was very smooth and soft which was a pleasant surprise for me! The staff were super friendly and very fast too!

Shirley N.

Yelp
A couple of years ago we happened across the bakery. Yesterday we revisited it on our overnight stay up in wine country. As you enter you'll find the right side is a sit down restaurant. On the left it's the bakery. We perused the bakery area as we already had plans elsewhere for a wine pairing event. My eyes caught the packaged biscottis in a woven basket. Any chocolate biscottis. Yes. I rummaged through the entire basket for the perfect package. Sorry for the mess. A package of eight chocolate pistachio biscottis for $14. We had them this morning with a cup of coffee. They were great. One day I'd like to sit down and eat at Costeaux. They also sold biscottis in bite size pieces. Those would be difficult to dip in a cup in my opinion.

Shaguna W.

Yelp
Good was soooo good! Had the quiche and my daughter had the eggs Benedict. Probably best Benedict either of us had. She actually finished the whole thing which she never does. Coffee was good, nice and strong. Almond croissant was a disappointment. Very doughy and not light and flakey as expected. Overall will come back next time up in Healdsburg!

Casey N.

Yelp
Stopped by for the restaurant week lunch, a burger or salad and a slice of cake. After eating our entrees, our waiter (Alexander, I think) came over with two already packed pecan tarts. I told him I can't eat nuts (no allergy, I just hate them) and he said he'd replace it with a lemon tart. I would have rather picked my own dessert, but I'm happy with lemon, so I didn't push it. Instead he comes back with apple tart, saying they're out of lemon. Well, when I try it later at home, I immediately taste almonds. I told him I couldn't have nuts and he gave me something with frangipane, an almond paste filling. I dread to think of him recommending this to someone who is allergic and not just a preference.

Jo P.

Yelp
Taking advantage of Restaurant Week, my husband and I had the burgers with fries that also came with cake! All for the amazing price of $15 each! Although we enjoy the ambiance of in restaurant dining, I got it to go. Was so impressed with how well they got the order right with two different burger temps and how well the fries were done even after a brief car ride. We chose slices of coconut cake & carrot cake. Can't go wrong with any desserts from Costeaux! How lucky we are to have such a great bakery & restaurant - with philanthropic owners who are involved in local service and generous in their support of the community!! Well done!!

Emmy M.

Yelp
Came here on a Sunday morning and there were zero pastries. The stuff that was in the case looked like it was from yesterday and I'm wondering if they have a baker? How do you have a bakery with no baked goods? There's no way they sold out that fast. I've been here many times before as I live down the street and I'm telling everyone, they didn't have pastries and they laughed. I went to quail and condor instead

Lisa W.

Yelp
I haven't dined here in awhile and was happy to be back to have lunch with my friends. I had a chai latte that was just ok- also quite small. I ordered the beet salad expecting a beet salad- it turned out to be a green salad with a few beets on it. The lettuce was fresh, however the dressing had too much Dijon in it which overpowered the entire salad. I only ate half of it. One friend had the harvest salad and said it was great. My other friend had the Monte Cristo which she said was ok. We did enjoy sitting outside on this warm day. The desserts are what I'd say are the highlight here. The macaroons are perfect- crispy exterior with a softer inside. Their croissants are quite good as well. I think I'll stick to desserts only on my next visit.

Lauren S.

Yelp
My 3 friends and I visited Costeaux before wine tasting yesterday. We accidentally started towards their other restaurant and ended up getting there at 11:50 am. I was afraid it would be huge wait but we were seated within 5 min at a lovely round table. The portions are hearty! I wasn't too hungry so I got the burrata appetizer with toast, fig jam, prosciutto, and a bed of fresh arugula. It was very delicious and I could hardly finish. My friends got avocado toast with 2 big loaded slices, an egg white omelet (large!), and soy chorizo scramble. We had mimosas and lattes to drink. The only negative was that we had to ask our waiter 4 times for waters... but we did eventually get them. He was busy and the busboy seemed new and was very apologetic.

Elijah Z.

Yelp
Super delightful brunch spot. My wife's superlatives on the Avocado toast with chili crisp included "this is the best avocado toast I've ever had" and "let's never come to Healdsburg again and not get this avocado toast." She subbed in poached eggs, seems like the move. The Lox plate was also great, lots of veg, pickled onions and sun dried tomatoes added fun flavors. Toasted breads obviously great. The mimosa had the perfect joosh of orange juice.

Kristen S.

Yelp
The service was great and the food was good but for me personally not five star good. I came for breakfast before a wine tasting nearby. I had their breakfast croissant with potatoes and fruit. I thought the potatoes were well roasted and seasoned. The bacon, egg croissant was filling but nothing special. I did have their mocha latte which was a nice start to my morning. If I lived near Sonoma I would come back here though and try other foods here as they do have a good variety and overall the vibe of the place is cute.

Juliana T.

Yelp
Passing through Lakeport, we stopped here for lunch. We sat at the high top table. The ambiance was lovey thanks to the high ceilings and bright lighting coming through the windows. Our table order a couple of different salads, including the Chicken salad, a monte cristo sandwich and a caprese sandwich. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Although, my friend who ordered the Caprese sandwich didn't feel it was satisfying enough. Also, I ordered Sports tea which was refreshing. I can't say it was a favorite place in the whole world but it was a cute drop off spot for lunch on the way through town.

Andrew S.

Yelp
A taste of Paris! Wonderful meal. Wonderful service. A must stop for breakfast in Healdsburg.

Eva B.

Yelp
Monte cristo sandwich was delicious. Frankly didn't need the extra jam because the bread was amazing. Also friend tried the Ruben which was not as good as the Monte cristo. With the salad it was just very refreshing. Banana nut muffin was another yummy item here. Beautiful ambience here for a cup of coffee and catch up with a friend!

Casey C.

Yelp
Service is so good and ambiance is special. Came for the pastries and breakfast. Monte crisco highly recommend

Michelle O.

Yelp
Ooh la la! Costeaux has been serving Healdsburg for more than a century and they still make amazing pastries and meals! Went for a weekday breakfast with friends and sat on their partly shaded patio. Service was prompt and leisurely. My friend's almond croissant was served hot and flakey. My vanilla latte was piping hot and served in a large mug. I had the avocado toast, which was more than enough for two, with a hard boiled egg mixed with sliced avocado, microgreens and pickled onions. My friends had the yogurt parfait with berries on top, which was a large portion and filling, One star removed because of the defective speaker system which kept blasting music loudly on and off, interrupting our conversation. But it was quaint and lovely otherwise.

James L.

Yelp
Just had a quick lunch there, with sandwiches and burger. I am impressed with the fresh and tasty of tomato used in Burger and sandwiches. My median rare burger was also pretty juicy. The bread was not that impressive though. Anyway, it's a nice lunch to relax at Healdsburg during the weekend. The service guy, on the other hand, came out asking people to pay even before we finished food.

Kirk F.

Yelp
Fantastic breakfast spot. I'm always impressed when a large place has consistently friendly and happy servers--and these people are incredibly kind. The food is super with lots of really fresh options as well as the classic breakfast stuff. I'm a fan!

Jeffrey S.

Yelp
Good for a quick little classic French sandwich or some little pastries. Croissants, cookies, and biscotti were all tasty.

Benjamin G.

Yelp
tldr; good pastry and French onion soup. Excellent ambience, good service, scramble average. Came here on the strength of a recommendation from a friend. This was on a Tuesday afternoon. Parking was a bit of a challenge which surprised me on a weekday afternoon, but I found parking at the back. Service was a bit slow, but not unexpected given that it's a weekday. Ordered the following items: * Ghirardelli Mocha - 4.5/5 - a bit sweet but granted given it uses Ghirardelli chocolate. Excellent otherwise! * French onion soup 4/5 - ordered a cup - I appreciated the option for a smaller portion to taste. Good soup, with ample cheese and croutons. Scramble - see individual parts: * Fingerling potatoes 4/5 - nicely herbed and crispy. Good, but not outstanding. * Cinnamon walnut bread 5/5 - easily the highlight of the meal for me. Unique and delicious. Crunchy and not too sweet * Scramble itself 3/5 - unfortunately I found it hard to appreciate this. I prefer savory scrambles, but I think the Black Forest ham made it sweeter than I'd like. The scramble also had a texture closer to a omelette rather than a scramble, and felt "folded" which was not what I expected. Ambience is very nice - beautifully lacquered tables and cutlery with cloth napkins. Overall a good choice to visit, and perhaps I chose the wrong dish. Chatting with the waiter, items prefixed with "Costeaux" are "originals" - perhaps I should lead with that in the future. Note: the Eggs Benedict is only available Friday thru Sunday. Note 2: Bill will have an extra 3% "BOH" service charge on top or sales tax.

Tasha H.

Yelp
Review is for Sunday morning breakfast - we arrived around 9 and they were able to seat us right away. Their front patio is the perfect place to relax and enjoy breakfast. The staff took really great care of us the whole time. Pastries - honestly their laminated pastries are not in a style that I prefer. They are more chewy and dense, almost feeling undercooked, rather than the light and many layered texture that I enjoy. Croissant sandwich - this was delicious. I love that it comes with cut fruit rather than potatoes/fries. The avocado was generous and the egg was cooked nicely. Eggs Benedict/ Costeaux special - quite the portion, and we enjoyed this as well. Eggs were poached well and we loved the home fries.

Alden G.

Yelp
Charming interior. Outdoor seating. Take out or dine in. Friendly staff, beautiful pastries. Based on Yelp reviews I made a point of trying the delicious walnut bread and a lox plate, plus Cappuccino with oat milk. Great spot, and clearly a breakfast power center for people watching both visitors and locals. The building has a long history relating to the economic growth of agriculture in the area. Recommend.

Yelp
Cute restaurant in downtown healdsburg with both indoor and outdoor seating. I went with two girlfriends for lunch on Sunday at around noon and we were seated immediately. It took a while for the server to come and help us, and service was a little bit spotty at times, but the food was pretty good. We shared the deep dish quiche, the burrata, with fig jam and prosciutto, and the pain perdu. Hard to say, which was our favorite, as we all liked going from the suite to the savory and back. Overall, it's a cute spot with a little bit of charm and tasty food.

Yelp
Most delicious lox plate I've ever tried!! I can't wait to try other things on their menu! Cappuccino goes perfectly with it.

Yelp
When in Healdsburg you have to stop by for brunch! It's a very cute French cafe and the serving is extremely generous. I ordered a steak and eggs plate , it was big enough to feed two people and then some. The steak was so tender , and the smashed crispy potatoes were to die for! The French onion soup is delicious! It's a perfect starter if you were like me drinking wine until the wee hour the night before . Because when in wine country... WINE NOT? Lol

Yelp
Went for breakfast today. Coffee is great and so is the service. Husband had bacon and eggs and the potatoes were hard and not cooked enough. I ordered the Ruben sandwich and was very disappointed. Too much special sauce applied. The bread was soggy and probably only 1 oz of meat. And with tip or Bill was a little over $50. Do not plan on returning

Yelp
Food was good, but the service here left so so much to be desired. My girlfriend and I were here for over two hours largely just reminding staff that we were still waiting for our food and having to flag staff down for extremely basic things like a menu after being seated, utensils, water, the check, and just someone to actually swipe our card after putting it down immediately after finally getting the check. We understand that it's a Saturday morning, but we literally watched as MULTIPLE parties around us who arrived long after we did got their food and left in a timely manner.
