I don't have a lot to say that others haven't already noted, but I'll try to weigh in here...
In a city that's replete with mid-range restaurants, it can be a bit hard to choose where to go. If you haven't been yet, and are looking for an above average restaurant that would be good for a slightly upscale business meal, date or just a nice night out, it should be on your short list. I have a few businesses in the area that I like to frequent when visiting, and Cotton is likely to be on that list whenever I'm in the area for a few days.
The outside of the restaurant is interesting. The large sign you see from downtown are actually on the back, where it abuts Commercial Street, while the entrance is actually on the parking lot side toward the river. It's rather unassuming as you walk up, but has a nice feel upon entering. The parking is also plentiful and easy to get, so you'll have less of a struggle than elsewhere in the city (Though I've never had much of a problem finding parking in Manchester).
While I only tried a couple things, the food itself was all on point. The lamb steak meal was nicely plated, dead on the temp, and well seasoned. Good enough that I'd want it again, and have a mental battle over whether or not to branch out and try something new. The service from the bartender was also great. Attentive and kind, with a good cocktail in hand.
