Country House Villadorata

This was an amazing location a short way from Syracuse and beautiful Noto, amongst various other wonderful places.||The resort is on several hectares of olive and citrus groves and vineyards. It is incredibly peaceful, particularly at night.||There is a swimming pool, high-end restaurant and more on the property.||Our room was large and included a small private outdoor terrace. The bed was comfortable and shower very good.||Breakfast was exceptional, with lots of dishes produced on site.||The staff were all great.

Our stay at Country House was nothing short of spectacular. The property is stunning, with rooms that perfectly blend modern design and authentic Sicilian style. Every detail, from the elegant decor to the warm hospitality, was thoughtfully curated. The resident animals, who occasionally wander by to say hello, added an extra layer of charm to the experience. Breakfast was a true highlight — easily the best we’ve had in all of Italy! Each morning, we were treated to a personalised feast, featuring fresh, local ingredients that set the perfect tone for the day. The value for money was exceptional, with the high quality of accommodation, amenities, location, and service far exceeding our expectations. The tranquility and peace here are unparalleled, making it the ideal spot for romance and relaxation. The team's genuine warmth made us feel like part of the family, and we can't wait to return to this little slice of paradise in Noto. Highly recommended!

A lovely oasis with the best service. The rooms are stylish without being precious. The quality of everything-- from the almonds and olives grown on site to the choice of linens and wines--is top notch. The property has a graceful beauty and is super close to beaches and lovely small towns. The restaurant offers delicious food-- we were lucky to see the chef do his magic because there is an open kitchen. The front desk/concierge staff were above and beyond in their generosity and care--from making restaurant and parking reservations in the center of Noto and other towns to making sure we had everything we needed. We will be back!!

What an incredible place! The grounds are breathtaking and so relaxing. There are only a few rooms scattered across the large grounds making you feel like it’s all yours. Staff was incredibly kind and helpful - they even went to the post office to pay a parking fine we got. Breakfast was one of the best we’ve ever experienced, with a large variety of sweet and savory options. Especially the local tomatoes and home made ricotta were to die for. Wouldn’t bother ordering extra’s from the menu, they weren’t that great and there’s more than enough already included. Lunch by the pool is also very delicious. The dining experience is nice.

We stayed here in June during our 8-day trip to Sicily. It was central enough to many of the places on your bucket list: 10 minutes from Noto and maybe 45 to Syracusa and Ortigia and Marzamemi. There were many other close spots but we ran out of time! The service was amazing and the restaurant was a culinary delight. Highly recommend

The country Hotel Villa Dorata experience exceeded all expectations. This is a stunning property located in the hills outside of Noto . It strikes just the right balance of comfort and relaxation. It is an eco-conscious resort with truly extraordinarily beautiful grounds. You can walk through vineyards olive Groves and citrus trees. ||The Restaurant provides one of the best and most creative meals we have eaten. Front desk and staff are very welcoming and lovely. Mostly you are left on your own to enjoy the beautiful property but people are available to ask if you need anything. The rooms are simple, but have all amenities and beautiful views. An absolutely wonderful experience.

While in Noto for a few days, my very good friends introduced me to the Country House Villadorata. Slightly outside the city, the setting is magical : you enter a vast domain in the heart of nature, with a fantastic view on the country side in the middle of olive groves, orange trees and vineyards. We went there to experience good food and the Chef exceeded my expectation. Everything is around ingredients and territories with highly creative and subtil marriage of unexpected flavors. A special mention in the menu Acqua e Terra for the Scallops, brown butter, orange and marinated turnipthe as well as for the Roasted turbot fillet, fennel, wood-baked lemon puree and fish demi-glace. It was a real delight and we spent there an unforgettable moment. I will definitely come back next year with my wife and may be stay one night or 2 in the resort.
