"Cowley Manor Experimental was the inspiration for Lewis Carroll’s Wonderland. That isn’t just a tidbit to bore your friends with over moreish, truffle-showered gougères. This luxe British restaurant and hotel just outside of Cheltenham has fairy tale-like grounds, which you should absolutely explore for white rabbits and water features after dinner.
