Had brunch plans with my girls on a Saturday back in August. Our plans got changed and we decided to revamp and stopped @ Cozy Corner. Neither of us, was very hungry or had been to CC previously. We decided to keep it simple and order what I affectionally call “kids meal items”. We each got chicken tenders and fires to share. The derive was good and the space seems cool. I will definitely return for the bar vibes and games. Just A Note: They offer a free slice of pizza with every drink purchase of $7 and more.

Definitely a "COZY "Corner bar! Good selection of Draft/ Bottle beer & delicious cocktails. Our Favorite bartender MARGARITA, very attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. I've been coming here for a while and keep recommending this local bar to my friends. Not only I come for Margarita, but the bar atmosphere is amazing. It has 2 bars, 2 tv's ( wish it had more) and a pool table. Must check this spot !

It looks like a place where I wouldn't order anything more complicated than vodka soda or draft beer. But... Bartender Jelka always makes my Boulevardier memorable,worth every penny and even more than that. she always uses the best ingredients and always hits the soul of the cocktail. It’s always a pleasure to come to her bar knowing that she will make my night just the way I want it, and I thank her for that. Whoever wants to try the taste of original cocktail recipes, her shift is the right place for that…

Cozy Corner has always been one of my favourite spots in the neighbourhood. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the cleanliness of the place really stands out—credit to the owner, who clearly takes great pride in maintaining the space. One of the main reasons I fell in love with Cozy Corner is their amazing hand-cut fries and chicken wings. Unfortunately, I’ve noticed some inconsistencies in the quality lately. They’ve started serving frozen fries instead of the hand-cut ones, and the wings’ flavor has changed—sadly, it’s a noticeable downgrade. Despite these hiccups, I still love Cozy Corner for its vibe and the care the owner puts into the establishment. If they can bring back the hand-cut fries and restore the wings to their former glory, this place would be absolutely unbeatable. Fingers crossed for those upgrades because I’d love to see Cozy Corner return to its full potential!

We wanted to write a positive review, but unfortunately, our expectations were not met whatsoever. It seems like the owners of this establishment have made irrational rules to try to win one over on their customers spending good money. After spending nearly $50 on food and then another $50 of drinks, husband asked for KETCHUP, and was told it would be a charge!!! For frickin ketchup?? This might not seem like a lot, but when you go order a $15 burger, don’t you expect ketchup? This alone was actually enough for us to see that the whole staff disagrees and the owners have a distorted mentality on what good service is. The server and bartender were absolutely wonderful but should not have had to be on the other end of confusing customers asking for something as simple as ketchup. We are long time bartenders and neighborhoodies, not bougie transplants…. Kinda sad. Won’t be back.

I was there on the night of September 13, the service is not friendly at all, the girl who was there that day did not bother to assist us and offered us the bar options. She seemed to mind being asked. Draft beer is $8 and comes with a personal pizza. Honestly, they shouldn't offer pizza because only a piece of dough with tomato sauce and the cheese is very scarce, you can see it in the photo; It is preferable to pay for pizza and for it to be of better quality. The facilities are nice but the staff is not.

Brunch is bananas here. Great food and a great atmosphere. They just started doing brunch again and the wait was well worth it. So far I've had the bacon carbonara, eggs Benedict, the tricolore pie, and they are all absolutely delicious!!! However, the rockstar of the brunch are the AMAZING FLUFFY PANCAKES!!! Let me break it down... Whether it's brunch or dinner, the Bacon carbonara is a bang on pasta dish. They do something a little different than a regular carbonara, they use asparagus instead of peas, and it's topped with an egg yolk, which makes all the difference in the world. Not only interactive, but also makes the dish taste really fresh, but really brightens up every time you break the yolk. $18 What makes the difference in taste for the Eggs Benedict, is they use sourdough toast for the base and the Hollandaise sauce is their own delicious blend of ingredients. Whatever it is, it's and mouth full of joy with every bite. $16 The Tricolor pie, has a great combination of ingredients that make this pizza, not only filling, but the delicate flavor will make the taste buds sing with joy. The prosciutto is perfectly cured, the tomatoes are super thinly sliced and the arugula is the perfect amount of peppery flavor that creates a full bodied finish. You can get the 13' for brunch at $16. If you want it for dinner or a larger party they also make the 18' But the Fluffy pancakes though!!! You can either have these detectible cakes as a dessert for the table at brunch or you can have them for yourself. Either way these pancakes are so light and fluffy, they giggle when they are sat down on the table. I'm not sure what this piece of heaven is made of, but they are "Crazy in love" delicious!!! They come with some tossed blueberries and strawberry sliver and maple syrup. It may look light and delicate...because they are, however the flavor they pack is mighty!!! All in all, the new brunch menu at Cozy Corner, is top notch, and I will be going back for more!!!

"Satisfied" is the adjective here. The state of being "still" where you are. And thanks Yelpers for sharing this feeling, having now felt it for myself. I'm satisfied. How did I get to such a coveted and glorious state? My guide was Jelka behind the bar. There were maybe 7 patrons in the bar on a Tuesday around 5pm. She immediately inquired about my needs and we struck up a conversation. Feeling welcome in a foreign situation: check. The music and lighting is low and comforting. The music has been on point all night. A mixture of classic and contemporary bangers that saturate you with the need to "chill". The patrons are definitely part of the backdrop. I met Victor, whose wife advocates to save the Planet by recycling wasted fashion produces. I met Ken a retired music teacher, who loves the complexity in music as much as I do. Then the food. I know... it's a bar. But there is where you are misguided my dear friend. The salmon. I gave a BigUp to my fellow Yelpers for this. The salmon didn't disappoint. It was juicy and "not slimey" at all. But the mashed potatoes were creamy and flavorful. The asparagus was really good as well, eye-popping.

They werent kidding when they called this place "Cozy Corner" This place was awesome, its spacious has that genuine local bar feel where everyone knows eachother, the food was delicious and our bartender Briland was ontop of everything The Salmon and Mash is what I had, with the creme Brûlée, definitely a must try if you're there!

The only place around with outdoor seats and TVs, plus totally decent food, and even a pool table. With all those assets I can overlook the slow service and mediocre cocktails.

The best food in Ridgewood, Queens. This place is absolutely amazing, the staff is friendly and the place is vivid and cozy. They have great food options and drinks too. Family friendly and you can bring your pet too! It's my favorite place in the area.

Walked in and was able to pick seating with no issue. Usual bar vibe, low light, rock was playing, super clean and chill. Bathroom was super bright and clean, loved the decor. The Server (wish I got her name!) came to our table and dropped off menus. We ordered mozzarella sticks, salmon with mashed potatoes and asparagus, a cozy burger with fries, and chicken Parmesan with mashed potatoes, and a blueberry mimosa. (Extreme thanks to the server for making the drink, I did not realize it was a brunch only drink, but she still made it for me since she had the ingredients (her words) and didn't mind). Also got two crème brûlées. 10/10 everything was delicious.

This is a fun casual place to hang out with friends and enjoy some fantastic food. The French fries were great!

Great vibe and feel to the place, try the pizza. It must be a new chef because it's even better than when I went last year. Good prices and even has a pool table. Not a bad thing to say about the place, again try the pizza

Went this past weekend and had a great experience. Ordered the pasta which was delicious and also loved the space. We sat in the back corner which has old movie theater chairs - very cute!

I like this place because they give you a free slice of pizza with your drink. Honestly pretty good pizza for it being free. Probably don't order cocktails like I did since it's more of a pub though. I wasn't a fan of the bartender than night. Not the friendliest. They also have board games which is cool.

I've lived around the corner from this place for decades! In that whole time, my FIRST time patronizing the new Cozy Corner was only last Saturday! Man, I've been missing out for so long!!! What a shame. Came here Saturday after seeing a show a few blocks away. It was the only place open at the time. We wanted food and drinks and we knew they served food. I've always heard good things about their pizza since they rebranded and started having pizza served. This was a VERY old-school local bar back when I moved here in the 80s. A few years ago they revamped the place and I'm very impressed. During the height of COVID-19, they constructed a huge outdoor seating area. They also have lots of seating inside, too! Two separate bars, about 5-6 tables with 4 chairs each, and this cute little raised seating area with different kinds of chairs in the back by the other bar. Everything is clean and sleek. They don't have actual menus so you have to scan a QR code to see what you want. On weekends the kitchen stays open until 1:30 AM so we lucked out! We ordered a large pie with red onions and mushrooms. Also got the Corner Gin Fizzy (Gin, Lime Juice, Simple Syrup, Seltzer). It was very crisp and refreshing. I just stuck with that the whole night. You order at the bar and then they bring you your food to wherever you're sitting. Took maybe about 15-20 minutes for the pizza to come out. I'm kind of a pizza snob so I was excited to try this one out. It was a pretty damn fantastic pizza. They were light with the mozzarella. I usually like a heavy hand with mozzarella but I didn't mind this! The sauce was tasty. The toppings were fresh and not canned. The crust was thin and perfect. At first, I thought how only 2 people will finish a large pie but embarrassingly enough, we did! That's how good it was. Service was always friendly. The cook saw that we didn't have any plates so he came out from the kitchen to bring us some. The female bartender was very nice and kept bringing our drinks tableside. In between the male and female bathrooms, they have a display with so many good games. They have Cards Against Humanity!!!! Big screen t.v.'s playing sports at each bar. My favorite thing about this place though is the jukebox!! The best jukebox I've ever encountered. It's digital and you can pay with a credit/debit card. $1 gives you 2 credits good for 1 song. It has any song by any artist ever created!!! I was playing such an amalgamation of songs the whole night. I'm sure some people left because of it! That jukebox is freaking addicting!! They have an ATM on site that only charges a $1 fee. I'm SO glad that I finally gave this place a visit. I know I'll be back for more!

It's best if you have a reservation. We didn't have one, but we got there as soon as it opened so they were accommodating. Food is good. Granted we had the burger, but it was amazing. Would go back to try more items. Friendly service. Nice environment. Can't wait to go again.

The Cozy Corner truly lives up to it's name. This is a locals bar. This is the kinda place where neighbors hang out and don't feel the pressures of being "cool" or "hip". This is the real NY. Real New Yorkers are like family. Anna is one of my fave bartenders here. She mentioned last weekend that they would be open on Christmas Eve. Since my friend hates the holiday and I only had plans for Christmas I knew it would be a perfect spot to have some drinks and have a little fun before the holiday. On Fridays and Saturdays you can get your grub on with a free slice of pizza with your first beverage. It's cash only during the weekend but the ATM is only dollar for the transaction. Not too shabby at all. The bar itself is huge but because of the times we all have to be outside. The Cozy Corner has one of the best winter set ups. They have a super long plastic seating area with heat lamps. The tables are spaced apart and I can feel the heat. You order your first drink inside and then Anna checks in on you and you can continue to get some rounds. She's truly a sweetheart. When we were here the neighboring tables all wanted to chat. It was a riot. That's kinda of what I miss during the holidays. Are your friend and yourself come home and when you need a break you gather at your favorite watering hole and just relax and have a good time.

Great little find. Awesome atmosphere with good food and friendly staff. If you go, you must get their homemade/fresh cut french fries. The nachos were also a great choice. Can't wait to go back.

Cozy corner used to be my go to bar for it's atmosphere and good food but things recently have taken a turn for the worst. I don't see the senior staff anymore that used to offer good/fast service. If you want slow service this is the place to go. I hope they rehire the past staff and give them all a salary increase.

Hosted my 4 year old's birthday party here. The staff was super helpful and sweet on the night of the event. It was a great space to hold down a party of about 40 plus adults and 25ish kids. Thanks, Cozy Corner!!

We came here after a funeral. The vibe was good the music was old school which I loved. The food was a bit lack luster to be honest. We were forced to start a tab or pay for t he food we ordered before we got it. Which I did not like. Had to go to the bar to even put in an order. The serve didn't even turn on the heaters for the outdoor seating for us just said it was there. I didn't have drinks that night but the others basically said it was hot or miss with the quality.

Here I am in Ridgewood looking for a place to have lunch. I ask a woman in the street and she says that place over there. So in I go. A lovely female bartender says sit wherever you like I take a spot inside. The bar is really nice with a vintage feel. Tin ceiling with old hanging chandelier An authentic, old time place, if the walls could only talk? At her suggestion I order a glass of Merlot. Wow smooth and delicious. I then order the roast Turkey which is absolutely the best It's with sautéed peppers and mozzarella slices on lightly toasted sourdough bread. Gee I see from the sign this place has been open since 1902! What a great cozy bar!

I've been meaning to try this place for some time. As it turned out, I should have waited longer. I stopped in just before 2:30 this afternoon. According to their posted hours, they opened at 2:00 today. I walked in and there was not a soul in the place except for the bartender and nobody sitting outside either. I placed my umbrella on a table as I wanted to sit inside, since it was 40 degrees outside and had just stopped raining. The bartender, a pretty blonde woman, said they weren't yet set up for indoor customers but I could sit outside if I wanted. I was also told it was cash only. I would have STRONGLY preferred to sit inside but I don't mind the cold so I asked for a vodka and cranberry. I paid for the drink and went outside to sit. Now, one of the things this place is known for is customers getting a free slice of pizza with their first drink. No slice of pizza was offered, nor was any given to me and I was outside for 30 minutes with my drink. I have to admit the drink itself was pretty good. Not too strong and not too weak. But, that didn't make this visit worth my time or money. One would think that on a lousy day and nobody in your establishment, the bartender would do everything possible to make the only customer feel welcome. I thought that. I was wrong. If this place's goal was to make me not want to ever come back, they did a good job.

Look at all the replies to the one-star reviews and you'll see why you shouldn't patronize this place. It's run by petty people with bad attitudes who'd rather belittle people anonymously than accept feedback and improve their business. The service is not only poor but incompetent. It's not welcoming nor friendly in any way, the food isn't good, and the drinks are bad too. It's a shame that the management is so lacking as the space has some charm and a lot of potential.

I walked in here on a cold February day to escape the elements and continue a first date I was on. We were met with incredibly kind service, great drinks, and phenomenal wings. We sat for hours talking and when I needed to make a move and play a song, the bar tender was kind enough to let me play it. A year and a half later, my now fiancé and I poetically walked in for our engagement party where we were again greeted by an incredibly accommodating manager, friendly and generous owner, and and overall lovely neighborhood experience. I will be coming to this homey bar on the corner for as long as they exist. They are now an integral part of my story and they helped make dreams a reality. I highly recommend it if you're looking for a place to relax, drink, watch a game, play pool or hold a life changing event. If not for the good drinks and environment, do it for the incredible staff that makes you feel like you can finally just relax in Cozy Corner

It definitely lives up to its title, very cozy and creative interior. It's definitely more of a drink then a food place. I swung by here to grab food last minute it was mid wasn't the best, wasn't the worst but I assume the drinks are way better. Id also consider the brunch menu but that will be for next time.

Just had a baby shower with all the girls from work cozy corner was great very cozy place to be and very comfortable jelka was so wonderful maded me decorated the place had a lot of room we stayed as long as we wanted no rush glad everything went well food and drinks were reasonable priced everyone was happy said it was a cozy place and such a nice place very happy I choose cozy corner we will be going back soon thank you cozy corner for a beautiful day . Delicious food nice friendly vibes and employees. First time here and it was great we're definitely coming back again. They require proof of vaccination like everywhere else right at the door if you are eating in. To order food you have to order at the bar and they hold your credit or debit card until you're ready to pay. They have pool and a few games there. And a little nook with comfort seating. The food was wayyyyy better then we thought it would be. Affordable pricing, quality and quantity.

Definitely a fan! I chilled at this bar while waiting for some friends and it ended up exceeding expectations. The bartender that I interacted with was super nice! She only works once a week which sucks, but she was kind and did her best to get me what I wanted. This place also has a deal were you can get free pizza if you spend over a certain amount on a drink on the menu. The pizza is delicious so all who come should definitely try it.

Pros: Excellent renovations. Nice owners. Very clean. Cons: Very rude male bartenders, they charge more for credit cards, wildly inconsistent cocktails (made incorrectly or differently EVERY time), advertise free pizza with a drink but now suddenly not allowed if you buy a domestic beer, which is really frustrating how they changed it out of nowhere for a dollar difference? Weird way to base your entire marketing on free pizza and then add stipulations out of nowhere a year later. I say this with peace and love with the hopes that they will improve, but this place has the worst bar food in the neighborhood. The pizza is pretty good as long as you don't get any toppings because they kind of just throw them on top without baking them in. Awful brunch though. Dry sandwiches. The worst, and I repeat, the worst burger I have ever had in Queens

THIS RESTAURANT DISCRIMINATES. My six-year-old and I were told that the manager watching on cameras said we weren't allowed at the bar based on the false assertion that it's illegal for minors to be at bars in NYC. (It's legal if the bar serves food.) The options offered by the bartender (who seemed to mean well) were to sit at the only table available without my husband and our friend or outside on a brisk October night. Extremely poor management to say the least given that we were subject to an incompetent person's behavior and given unreasonable solutions, all impersonally and creepily via video camera, especially considering that we were regulars.

Beyond cozy in there ! I love this bar for all kind of occasions. Great prices, very generous and friendly staff. Went with group of friends and their kids. We had great tome without any complications. Played pool, danced and left. We will be back !

Nice atmosphere and nice enough bartender that was training. Outdoor area was well done. Steak was literally the worst steak I've ever head in my life. $28 for a rib eye ordered medium rare and it came hard, dark, and cooked through and what seems like either freezer burn or spoilage. I probably should have just returned it, had a few bites before I couldn't stomach it And just gave up. Chicken tenders were salty but serviceable, salmon seemed ok. Should probably just stick with drinks and maybe pizza.

Went here last weekend. The tenders are amazing. The servers aren't annoying. The service is fast. It's a beautiful bar

A great neighborhood spot! Pizza and and a drink special is clutch after 4pm on weekdays, dog friendly (outdoors anyways from my visits), reasonable drink prices, very friendly bartenders, and unlike Glori G a few reviews down I have realistic food expectations coming here and you should too! Don't be a toolbag thinking it's going to be an otherworldly food experience; it's bar food. It's decent and will sustain you.

Had a beyond meat burger today, and it was, without a doubt one of the best burgers I've ever had. Not even joking. Great job cozy. This place is one of my favorite places in Ridgewood queens. Drinks and food are delicious . Bartenders are friendly and fun. Anna and Alex are the best . So many good memories with friends here. :)

Best spot for food, so much space too. Pool table! The outdoor space is massive probably 200 people sit out there. The interior is awesome you can tell someone took it like their baby and rebuilt it. FREE PIZZA!!

Cozy corner is my local bar. Everything I have had here is great from the food to the drinks. All bartenders are extremely friendly and super quick service. They also have a huge outdoor area that has plenty of TVs for all sporting events. Also the outdoor area is great for dogs. Thanks for hosting my 30th birthday :)

Went here for a late night dinner with a friend. Drinks: Bartender was great! He even made a drink for us that wasn't on the menu, super nice and overall great experience at the bar. Cozy Burger; this burger was huge! A lot bigger than I was expecting and extremely delicious. This is the type of burger that will leave you in a food coma. I also had the salad which was sensational; fresh Ingredients and generously portioned. French fries were good and crispy. Wings were NOT good, hardly any flavor. Everything is served on a paper plate which isn't sustainable or enjoyable to eat from. I give it a good 3.5 / 5

I just moved here and by far the best pizza I've had since here. The best crust hands down and sauce. This will be a regular for me

This is probably going to become my favorite pub ! Went there for the first time today and I absolutely love it! The vibe was GREAT!!! Me and my husband had an awesome time.

I went between 9-10pm to meet up with a friend who had gone the night before and recommended it. We got in and no one went to the table where we were sitting down. My friend that recommended went up to the bar and ask if we ordered food at the bar or would someone go to the table. Guy behind the bar said to give him 5 minutes and never went to our table. Realized that the manager was sitting outside with company next to her. Was really looking forward to have a relaxing night with friends. Ended up leaving the place.

Comically bad food. Everything we got was just frozen food that they fried up. Prior to ordering the veggie burger I even asked if it was homemade, because for $17 I wanted to be sure. They said yes, but what arrived? A Dr. Praeger's frozen burger lol. We also got chicken tenders and fries. We knew right when we walked in and grabbed a menu that it wouldn't be great, but we were in a rush and bar food can be awesome. Won't be back.

I ordered delivery from here on Yelp last night around 9pm. After multiple calls to Yelp, and nearly 2 hours later, the delivery person never even moved from their location on the app. This is sad. I called Cozy Corner only to be told "We don't do delivery" despite a link on their website directly to Yelp to order take out or deliver. Please, kindly, get your shit together, Cozy Corner and Yelp. Or just fire the idiot driver who clearly didn't do their job.

Been wanting to check this place out for a long time. They give you free pizza with your first drink! Who can say no to that?? The food was good and service was fast & friendly. Just wish they served strips of bacon instead of chopped bacon ( but that's just my preference). Would definitely come back though!

Great place! Great beer! Great staff! Great pizza! Always a good time. I frequently go there even though there are bars closer to me.

Big and beautiful space.. only thing is that they only play rock and roll music now. It's kinda boring and I requested with the bartender if they can put a different genera because it was really killing the vibe and they said they're boss won't allow it ?? Which I think is ridiculous. Before they played all sorts of music and the bar was fun and they even have games now but if they're gunna keep only playing rocky and role music I rather find a bar with a better vibe and better music.

Let me start this by saying that overall I personally really enjoyed my experience when we went for brunch here yesterday. We came here pretty much on a whim but have been planning to visit especially since the new refurbishment. Absolutely loved what they have done with the place. It really is more spacious than it used to be and certainly seems to be more welcoming from the outside and inside when you walk in. However, I do want to point out that there is a sign outside that does indicate the place is "family friendly" which is fine because the atmosphere is nice, the staff are friendly and I have seen kids walk in and a family of 4 came in just as we were leaving but there are no high chairs....so perhaps a suggestion to invest in at least one or two if the Cozy Corner is to actually be proper family friendly? One more nit pick I have to make is that in the breakfast burger on the menu it mentions that the burger will come with lettuce, tomato and a fried egg - all great items for a breakfast burger.....it also contained pickles and mayo (not mentioned in the menu or the by the staff)....I absolutely loved it.....my wife hates both pickles and mayo, the only 2 items excluded from the description in the menu. Now I'm not suggesting the menu be re-written just for that but maybe the staff could have mentioned that little thing? Oh, one last thing it came with regular fries despite saying on the menu that it comes with home fries.....unless they are now one and the same.... With that being said, I may be returning but my family may not

Caleb rocked the bar and our take out food orders tonight...singlehandedly. Amazing guy and amazing service. He took time to talk to his customers. He has confidence and command of his bar...my chicken fingers were juicy and thick the honey mustard had just the right about Of tang. And last but not least the cozy corner lemonade with a double shot of Tito's vodka did not disappoint.
