Beautiful cozy place to grab a drink and rest. Their coffee is decent.

Quiet shop, with nice atmosphere. Good coffee, but we did not try any of the food. Also the hours are good, a nice place to study or just kill some time. They also have an assortment of coffee beans/gear/merch if you’re interested in any of that.

I love the ambiance of the place. There isn’t much standing room near the ordering bar due to the layout of the facility. There is plenty of outdoor and indoor setting. Kinda of expensive for specialty coffee drinks. It was $14 for a large vanilla latte and large coffee.

Amazing little coffee shop serving up decent coffee. They use coast roast coffee , it’s a bit strong but hot and fresh. Cookie was good too. Not to many pastries in the case. Good cafe to do work in and or read a book

I love CR Coffee! I have been coming here regularly for about three years. The ambience inside and on the patio is so cute and cozy. The afternoons are usually very quiet and chill for studying. My only complaint would be that there are not really many food options but I really adore this place overall!

I visited this coffee shop for the first time and want to provide transparent feedback. The food, specifically, the breakfast burrito was filled with large cut, under cooked potatoes pieces. It was jarring to bite into tough potatoes and greenish scrambled eggs. Additionally, the staff did not seem interested in me entering the shop and were dressed surprisingly casual for a place with so many good reviews. I hope that the consistency of the burritos improves and that the staff received more training, I did not order coffee due to the quality of the service but with all honesty I stand by that decision now having tried the food.

Coast Roast coffee is my favorite coffee in town—it is never bitter or tastes burned, like many other coffees I’ve purchased from the famous chains or even other local shops. The baristas are friendly and helpful, and are very efficient and quick when preparing my order. I also love the crushed ice in my iced latte instead of big clunky cubes!

Delicious coffee, quick service, and a beautiful space both inside and on the patio. I am a huge fan of the chocolate cover espresso bean frozen coffee. It feels like a grown up frappuccino. I’ve never had to wait longer than 2 minutes for my drink. Some of the best coffee in New Orleans!

Was looking for an impromptu place to study uptown close to Petcetera Nola to soak up some time. Loved that they had an indoor outdoor seating option. It's converted New Orleans style home with huge windows that provided me the ability to step outside for a break while keeping an eye on my belongings through the windows. I was also able to catch a nice breeze in the shade of the front porch. Inside was super quiet, and everyone was mindful and considerate about the shared space. Not sure the name of the barista, but she was very nice and patient when waiting to take my order. I didn't feel rushed and she even gave suggestions. I would recommend this place for anyone looking for a quite daytime study place.

Not a huge fan of the Matcha latte here. I mostly tasted almond milk. The drink was very watered down with no good macho flavor found. Not sure if I would come back.

Lovely little spot for coffee and tea! Came in with a friend and enjoyed our time. Great service, super cute seating on the inside. Overall comfortable vibes, a good place to sit for a while and chat/work. Loved the outdoor seating, and personally took advantage of good weather and sat there in particular. Loved my iced matcha. Great flavor, and you can tell they use good quality matcha. Not too milky or too bitter, just right :)

Great little shop! Was glad to find a place open so early. Staff was welcoming and friendly, even on a wet Saturday morning. Coffee was good. Glad to know they have decaf.

My friend told me about CR Coffee and I was in the area, so I had to try it! I'm glad I did. The vanilla sweet cream cold brew is super addictive. They have lots of cute merchandise in the store also. I signed up for the rewards program (a must anywhere they offer rewards), so I will definitely be back. There are also lots of tables and wi-fi if you need a space away from home to get work done.

I wanted to sit down and relax after eating at Mahoney's Po Boys and stumbled upon CR Coffee Shop, which was right up the street. This is a super nice coffee spot to grab your drink to go or sit down and relax. I ordered an iced matcha latte with oat milk, and I have to admit, I stayed here for a few hours. The weather was beautiful, so it was the perfect spot to enjoy my tea and read my book, "No Exit" by Taylor Adams, while people-watching. What more can a girl ask for?

This coffee place is great! It has great coffee for 1! Fun and friendly staff! And plenty of space to enjoy your delicious coffee inside and out. I ordered the Chocolate Covered Espresso Bean Frozen and omg! How can you not order this?! The ladies behind the counter were so funny and complimented my purse. They made it a fun personal experience for me. They have two areas to sit outside and one area is on the side of the shop and the other is on the front. There are a few seats on the porch and a couple of tables in the courtyard space in the front of the shop. The shop is basically a shot gun house converted into a coffee shop. There is on street parking and you can purchase sandwiches too. There is a muffuletta on the menu! Not many coffee shops with that. Specifically, Nuccio's Muffuletta. I did not try it, but will next time! I can't wait to get another cup of their delicious creamy coffee

Cute coffee shop with all the offerings of Starbucks and more, plus the bonus of local charm. All of their syrups are made in house! I had an iced vanilla latte with oat milk and their version of a moon pie - both fabulous

The only place in New Orleans that I know makes a ginger latte . It is everything when you need it. They also have a limited latte called the Earl which has a lemon flavor that is actually quite good. The baristas are always pleasant. Is The space to order is small but they keep it going well. Outdoor seating is available on the porch and patio. Indoors is quite. The decor head beautiful hardwood floors and other architecture common to New Orleans homes turned businesses.

Nobody roasts like Coast Roast roasts! This is my favorite place to get a Cold Brew in New Orleans!

The coffee was amazing. We are here on business so it's the perfect spot. What a delight vibe inside and out very clean. They the service was excellent the young lady that was there in the am on 11/13 was very helpful and kind . I'm sorry I didn't grab her name.

CR aka Coast Roast is lovely neighborhood coffee shop. It has great outdoor seating and judging by the folks who are always working there, strong wifi! And most important to me, they do a great iced tea. DELICIOUS! I do not understand how so many shops mess up a simple iced tea. Oh and the snacks? Also yummy with a variety of seasonal options, including king cake pickup when in season. Saturday, I had a perfect croissant that and my iced tea kept me going to finish all my errands. The staff is super friendly/nice too.

The egg bites and ham and cheese croissant are great. Latte and matcha are also super good! In a really cute spot in Nola! I def recommend

This review is actually for the location in the airport, but there isn't an option for that on yelp. My latte is amazing and the customer was fantastic! Idk if that staff is employed by the same people of this coffee shop, but if so, the girl working today is the best and helpful when I wasn't sure what to order. I ended up going with the avocado toast and a vanilla/lavender latte. I also really love that the avo toast is vegan friendly! Seriously...with minimal veg options in an airport, I appreciate y'all! Next time I'm in NOLA I will be sure to stop by your actual shop! Looks like such a cute location!

In my opinion, CR has the best coffee in uptown New Orleans. Most places make it super acidic, but here it's smooth and almost sweet. The staff at the counters were so sweet, and there's plenty of space to sit in this cozy shop.

Both times I came here, the drinks were just alright. I've tried the iced tea and vanilla sweet cream cold brew, and both were a bit too sweet. Their food selection isn't anything to write home about but they do have a nice study space and friendly baristas!

Indoor seating is now upon us! With the pandemic and ongoing changes, CR Coffee Shop was only allowing outdoor seating and to-go beverages for quite some time. As of November 2021 (with my visit), their indoor seating is now accessible and I love it. I really appreciate the concept of this coffee shop respecting the bones of the home and building a shop within if that makes sense. To sit down and work on my laptop in what would've been a living room is just so cool The hardwood floors, high ceilings, and aroma of coffee is perfection. It's pretty easy to spot on Magazine since many folks enjoy the front deck whilst sipping on their brews. I only drink iced coffees (shocking, I know) and their cold brew is one of my fave. Excited to officially add a new location for meetings and work. If weather permits and you don't need an outlet, I recommend you sit outside and enjoy the ambiance.

Excellent. Excellent service, excellent coffee, excellent dessert, excellent location. I was in the area and had a few minutes to kill between appointments so I pulled up to CR and thought I'd give them a try. I was greeted warmly by the barista, who made me a delicious vanilla iced latte. I also picked up a locally made, fresh as it gets moon pie for my daughter. I sat on the porch to take a load off and unwind for a sec. What a welcome break. Thanks to their great location on Magazine St. and to the beautiful weather of the day, I was able to people and puppy watch for a bit. Seriously, I hated to have to leave, but I'm sure I'll return. :) PS - the moon pie was a huge hit.

I've now been to CR about 4 times in the past few weeks and tried the frozen coffee, iced latte and sweet cream vanilla cold brew with oat milk. This is definitely my new favorite coffee spot. I've loved everything and now that they're in full operation again post storm, the snacks (including a savory stuff waffle) are call my name!!

Coast Roast is my favorite coffee in the city. I frequent the St. Roch location often. The Auction House Market location is decent. When I heard they opened a new location Uptown, I was thrilled. They are located in a beautiful old shotgun double. They occupy the right side. There is a nice porch in the front with bar stools and you can sit and enjoy the ambiance. It was fun to catch some of the Saints game on the old black and white tv inside. My go to drink is the iced latte. The barista prepared it very well. They have a variety of drinks choose to choose from , as well as a small assortment of pastries and sandwiches. I'm sure I will be back soon! P.S. Another perk of Coast Roast is they offer a frequent buyer card. Awesome! Be sure to get one.

I really liked the atmosphere of this place. The natural light coming through the windows was very pleasant. I also liked how much seating there was inside the house, the side area, and the bar on the porch. The person helping us was very nice. It seems like a good place to do work because there were plenty of outlets inside by the red wall. Will be coming here again. To the business owners, I enjoyed that they had butter and jam out by the sugar and cream. I enjoy getting croissants and I hope they bring those back out.

Three and a half stars.the coffee is delicious! Wasn't crazy about the fact that our coffee was served in paper cups even though we were staying in. Not crazy about the atmosphere. It's a small place and you can hear every conversation. The tables are close together. The chairs are uncomfortable. Cute outdoor space that looked inviting. I didn't get a chance to enjoy it due to rain. I ordered egg bites. They were terrible. Nuked so hard they were rubbery. The coffee is so good that I'd go back and grab a cup To Go or have it in the nice outdoor area.

Pros: Great location- on a very walkable part of Magazine. Nice outdoor space- perfect for meeting up with friends, getting some work done, or just enjoying your coffee outside. Plenty of outlets to charge your computer if you're coming here to get some work done. Cons: Not the best cup of coffee- dark, bitter. Overpriced- especially for the quality of coffee.

On a walk today to exercise and run an errand and I got so hot I needed frozen coffee, stat. Luckily I passed by this place and noticed I could order online and pick up on a shelf inside. Perfect for me, as I hadn't brought my mask on my walk. In less than 5 minutes, I had the most delicious frozen coffee and felt totally rejuvenated. There's a ton of covered outdoor seating, perfect for Magazine Street people watching, and it's super charming. They also sell bags of coffee beans. Definitely pop in and try this place!

I love this place! Before you stroll down Magazine Street, make sure you stop in here for some coffee! Been here twice ( we live about an hour away) and would rather go here than the chain coffee shops that appear on every corner.

Love the location and outdoor sitting area (my pup loves it too)! Tried the cafe coquito my first time there, good flavor but a bit too sweet for my taste so I probably won't get it again. The ginger latte was good, really enjoyed the simple syrup.

Beautiful coffee shop with indoor and outdoor seating. You can read and drink your coffee while sitting in one of the leather chairs, do your homework at one of the tables (access to outlets), or sit outside and watch the people on Magazine Street. Definitely one of my favorite coffee shops in New Orleans. Looking forward to coming back!

Very cute coffee shop on Magazine. I'd seen it in passing several times and finally got to check it out when I needed a spot for a quick meeting in the area. Like most of the businesses on this strip, it's in a converted house which adds to the cozy vibes that many know and love when it comes to coffee shops. The inside tables are a bit close together, but with just enough space that you don't feel like you're on top of each other. I appreciate that there are a few table on the porch and a nice side patio outside if you need a little more space to stretch out. Since I wasn't setting up shop for long I didn't do my usual scoping for outlets and wifi. However, based on the amount of folks hanging out inside, I would assume there are both. It was pretty quiet, so if you're looking for a place to work, study, or read, this is probably a good place to spend some time. I won't waste your time by telling you what I ordered because if you've read one of my coffee shop reviews then you already know, lol. I'm excited to go back on a day when I have more time to hang out and try a pastry.

My daughter and I were in the area hoping to check out The Collective Shop. I forgot to check the hours and The Collective closed early for Christmas. Oops. We decided to just take a walk and see what we could get into. As luck would have it we ended up at Coast Roast! I recommend checking it out. I love what they've done inside and their is great outdoor seating. This coffee shop is our new favorite place to get Chai!

Keep it simple. Good coffee. Nice espresso drinks. Tea. Sit in the porch with your dog or grab a table inside.

This is quite possibly the only coffee place within a mile radius, tucked in between shops, boutiques and art galleries--so if you pass by with a hankering for a coffee, make sure to stop in. They have a lovely patio and quiet indoor space, great for working. Limited bakery goods.

Stopped for a coffee and a little snack. They have a wonderful assortment of little goodies to eat and enjoy. We tried a lemon fried pie that was tasty. It was warm outside so my friend got a iced peppermint mocha. We wish them much success in their new business!!

Great place to pop into to get an iced tea and a break from walking down Magazine street. Great patio seating that is close to the sidewalk. Great for people watching.

First time visitor to New Orleans and stayed at a B&B close to CR Coffee Shop. This is a wonderful funky hippie kind of place usually found in Seattle or Vancouver. It was small and tight inside but that didn't seem to bother anyone. I got me a nice iced mocha.

I moved to NOLA roughly 3 months ago for school and after scouring an endless number of coffee shops, I say that this is one of the best ones. The sweet vanilla cold brew is a match made from heaven!

This place is amazing, love walking here from my house. Always quiet and clean even during the COVID chaos! I was able to relax at one of the many outside seating options. Solid cappuccino as well..
