"Chef/owner Bernard Laskowski previously opened Bin 36 and Park Grill before launching Craft Urban in downtown Geneva. His constantly changing food menu is complimented by a cocktail list featuring a smoked old fashioned and a craft martini with lemon vermouth mist plus The Dude, a nod to The Big Lebowski made with cinnamon vodka, kahlua and maple-bourbon whipped cream. Come for happy hour from 3 to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday to sip $5 cocktails while listening to vinyl beats." - Samantha Nelson

"Although it’s all the way out in Geneva, Craft Urban “would feel at home in any city neighborhood” according to Phil Vettel. There’s a selection of toasts to start, including a “very nice combination” of ricotta, grape mostarda, and prosciutto. Seafood also excels — rainbow trout in a lemon-caper sauce is “one of the nicest dishes on the menu” — while the meaty porchetta is a “classy” pork and beans that serves as “perfect winter-weather fare.” Desserts are “classic indulgences” and the best of the bunch is the chocolate mousse with toasted marshmallow, graham-cracker crumble, and sea salt." - Jeffy Mai

Google
Christian was absolutely incredible. He was helpful, respectful, and personable, as well as amazingly patient and friendly with our daughter. We inquired about gluten-free options and he explained that Craft Urban has a dedicated gluten-free fryer. The cheese curds were to die for! Thank you Christian!

So much was interesting about this restaurant, from the eclectic atmosphere, to the equally eclectic delectable food. From start to finish, the restaurant drips character and style, and is unlike anything I've ever experienced. Service was friendly and attentive, and last but not least, the food was excellent. My steak especially was amazing, and I couldn't stop eating it, much to the chagrin of my full stomach. All in all, I'll be back to dine at this hidden gem that makes its unique mark on the already vibrant dining scene in Downtown Geneva.

Really unique spot! I love the indoor decor. Service was wonderful. The chilequiles were delicious and the burger as well. The fries were crispy with great flavor. The drink menu looked yummy. Someone ordered a Bloody Mary and it looked really good. Outdoor seating as well.

A delightful dining experience with very good food and great service. The prices are fair, and the portion sizes are generous. I was shocked by how good the press coffee was.

Google
Everything was excellent! My husband and I had a wonderful experience. Everyone greeted us and made sure we were taken care of. Kristine was the main person taking care of us and she was great! We are not local, but stopped here while traveling. We would come here more often if we were locals. We had the nachos which we cleaned our plate and wish there was more.. but we had to save room for our main dishes. I had the brisket burger and my husband had the crispy chicken sandwich. Both were excellent! Also, the atmosphere was great.. the layout, decor, music, and there is an elevator for accessibility. I hope we can make it back here sometime! 10 out of 10 I would recommend.

We came to walk around the town and for lunch. I found Craft Urban because of their gluten free options. We walked around then came here and it was truly amazing! We got the Buffalo cauliflower, and the lunch special of the Crispy chicken sandwich with the pear salad (all gluten free!) the cauliflower was coated and cooked super well without being super greasy. Really happy we came here! We also had their specialty $7 margs which were really good too!

We were in St Charles for something and decided to grab a cocktail. Picked Craft Urban sort of randomly but I liked the name. Wednesday early evening and there was plenty of seating but we decided to sit at the bar. Had a great time talking to the bar tender Sam. He made us an cosmopolitan and a bourbon side car. Both were very very good. We also had the fried cheese curds - also excellent.

Google
The place looks very cool and has a very nice ambiance. Unfortunately, the food is unseasoned, crusty and overcooked. The burrito had a huge potato just shoved in it, it was unseasoned and there's no side - literally tasted like nothing. The grilled cheese for kids is made with texas toast which is way too large for a kid to eat & the fries were overcooked. The tacos were the same as the burrito - no seasoning and was served with like 2 pickled vegetables. The Bloody Mary's had little to no alcohol and were watered down. Not to mention the side of fries is $8.. insanity. Wouldn't recommend - overpriced and terrible taste. Service was fine.

Yelp
Came in for drinks and loved the Miami vice it's so good. The service Chris was very friendly.

Yelp
Came here in between brunch and dinner on the weekend. It was a soft dinner menu given that not all the menu items were available but our waiter didn't have a good sense of what was available. I had wanted to try the pot roast but it was too early for that. I got the burger instead. It had pickles, cheese, tomato jam, onions. It was pretty good! They served it with plenty of fries. My mother had the lobster sandwich and asked for a different side than fries. It was a $6 up-charge for a salad! It was an ok experience just wasn't wowed.

Elizabeth A.

Yelp
I went here with the intention of getting a few drinks and some food but was amazed with the quality. The prices for the food were reasonable but I thought the drinks were a little expensive for what you got. The quality of the food was really delicious. I got the Korean tacos and it was fresh and yummy. The service was great! Our server was outgoing and attentive. I ate outside and it was small and private. I would come here again!

Yelp
Amazing restaurant in Downtown Geneva! If you are gluten free, they are able to accommodate almost everything, including the cheese curds! They have a dedicated fryer as well for those who are celiac. On top of the amazing food, the service is great! Our server was attentive & friendly! This is a must try for anyone who is in the area!

Lindsay B.

Yelp
My friend and I visited Craft Urban on an icy evening during restaurant week and had a fantastic meal. I'm very excited to come back here again soon. They had so many delicious-sounding cocktails on the menu, I chose to try the a nice pear and I thought it was perfect. Everything on the menu was fresh, including the cocktails. For restaurant week, they had a more limited menu (though the full menu was available if you wanted to order from it). I started with the cheese curds. They were fantastic, and were served with some pickled veg which I loved. For my entree, I got the Gnocchi which were perfectly cooked. Our server was lovely, and the atmosphere of the restaurant was nice as well. I will be back- hopefully soon- as there are so many things I want to try. I've heard their buffalo cauliflower is the best!

Kristine S.

Yelp
Kassi is always so friendly and an attentive server. We had wonderful food, bottomless mimosas, and when she realized the sun was in our eyes, she closed the curtains for us! Can't wait to come back for another wonderful brunch!

Luigina L.

Yelp
Places ha s a great atmosphere. Went on a Saturday night and had some happy hour appetizers and drinks. There was a guitarist playing live but it wasn't so loud that you couldn't talk. Staff was SO nice and just a really good vibe. Everything was super fresh and delicious. We had the buffalo cauliflower, nachos and corn dip. I also had an old fashioned, which was stellar! Its hard finding a good old fashioned! We will come back and recommend it highly.

Patrick G.

Yelp
Very casual and comfy setting. Portions are perfect and tasty. All the staff are super friendly and fun.

Tony J.

Yelp
We made our first visit here, on a Saturday morning for brunch and it wasn't too busy. The atmosphere was cool, the staff were friendly and the food was good. The Chilaquiles was not your traditional kind but it was a really good rendition of it. Overall, we enjoyed our experience and we recommend checking this place out!

Jessica H.

Yelp
Kassi is amazing, every time! adore the breakfast fried rice. the bottomless mimosas are made fresh

Yelp
From the minute we stepped in to the eclectic dining room we were impressed! We sat in a cute corner booth away from a lot of the activity, and it was so easy to just forget that we weren't the only 2 there. For starters, we had the buffalo cauliflower with ranch dressing and I loved it so much, I could have just made my meal out of that! My husband ordered a couple of IPA's and I had 2 cocktails which were both delightful. Our main courses included the gnocchi and the crispy chicken sandwich. The plates were huge, the presentation was nice, and everything was delicious. Of course I had to try out the seasonal Oreo desert made with ice cream from Grahams and it was to die for! Our server was so friendly, and she was such a beautiful soul. She genuinely cared about her position, and it showed 110%. We cant wait to go back and try something else on their menu. If you havent been here yet; do yourself a favor and go. I promise you wont be disappointed!

Ruhi P.

Yelp
When you walk in, this place has a good vibe. It's got beautiful artwork and a good amount of seating. Service was good, everyone was nice. We had the Buffalo cauliflower and cheese curds and I was more so excited about this place Because both these dishes are gluten free! It's hard to find GF cheese curds. Amazing dishes! Great happy hour deal, I will be coming back for more dinner plates as we really only went for apps and drinks! Definitely recommend to everyone to try! They also have their own parking!

Michele L.

Yelp
I understand that cost of things are rising, and restaurants must do what they have to do to survive. However, it's courtesy to let your customers know ahead of time that there is an extra fee to use a credit card. I definitely would've paid in cash.

Jessica F.

Yelp
Stopped here for an early dinner with my family on a Saturday night. Sat outside on the patio where there are a few tables and a chill vibe. The only con is you're looking out into the parking lot. I think our servers name was Michael, he was fantastic. Joked around with my kid and when he found out we were from out of town, explained the vibe of the whole restaurant (sustainable, farm to table, etc). Loved the mismatched plates. Yelp reviews highly suggested the cheese curds so we had to start with those. The pickled vegetables were a nice touch as it helped to break up the heaviness of the cheese. The honey mustard sauce was delicious. We also ordered the sliders kids meal and the crispy chicken sandwich. Both were amazing! Fries were perfectly crispy too. I went inside to go to the restroom and it was a totally different vibe in there. Very romantic and cool, loved the art on the walls. Seems like a place that could be good for a family night out or a hot date! Always nice to find a place like that.

Connie L.

Yelp
Amazing! We stopped in for brunch on Saturday. What a cute place. The awesome waitress recommended the brunch punch. It was a delicious, affordable cocktail. We order the rice dish and the chilaquiles. The chilaquiles were not my Abuela's recipe but were so fresh and delightful that I will try to recreate them at home. Sorry Abuela! My boyfriend absolutely loved his rice bowl and gobbled up the generous serving. A ton of deliciousness at an affordable price. So glad we checked it out.

Yelp
Before I decided to write this review, I sent a message to Craft Urban 8 days ago and received no response. I know they may be busy, but they could have responded by now. I called today and asked to speak to one of the main managers. I talked to a girl who claimed to be a manager but she didn't behave like one. She made me feel dismissed and it was obvious she didn't listen when I had to repeat myself. The quality here used to be really good. I think the place sucks now. They charged me $7 for about a 2 oz flat burnt chicken. I said something right away and they got me another tiny little piece of chicken to replace it after they told me they were going to give me a couple. I accepted it because I just wanted to get home. I also ordered the buffalo cauliflower to go. When I got home, I noticed they forgot to give me the blue cheese sauce it comes with. In addition, they drowned the cauliflower in buffalo or some kind of Tabasco sauce. I've had better food at McDonald's and fast food restaurants. They overcharged me for crap food and the so-called manager made me feel dismissed. I will never come back to this place knowing they're going to serve me overpriced dog food and carelessly.

Yelp
I went here recently with some friends. We had a great time, the staff were so great! We didn't have reservations, so sat at a table near the bar. It was small so we asked to shift to a table, and with some patience we were able to be seated about 25-30 minutes later. Very accommodating and we appreciated it! The food was pretty good - we started with the cheese curds which are honestly amazing, very different than your standard cheese curd. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! I got a burger and side salad - the salad was delicious (I think I got the Greek) but my burger was lacking some flavor, could have used a dash of salt and more aioli or tomato jam. The drink menu overall needs some work too. The bar has a few bottles, there's like 6 beers on tap, they just really need to bump things up and offer more. The overall atmosphere is funky and creative, I love it!

Olivia P.

Yelp
SOOOOOOO GOOD!!!!! Staff was very knowledgeable about celiac and GF. I didn't get sick. Highly recommend coming here. I was able to eat fried safe food (dedicated GF fryer). Incredible!

Joi J.

Yelp
The appetizers are delicious. Cheese curds, biscuits, and nachos are done well. I did not like the chicken sausage. It had a weird texture and flavor. Also, the presentation and plating for the main dishes is not appealing.

Melissa S.

Yelp
My goodness! First of all as soon as walked in impressed by live music, cool artsy atmosphere! Service amazing! Michael our waiter was the best! super friendly, helpful and always available and had great opinions for what to eat / drink. Wonderful personailty! Definitely will be back again-- oh and food is amazing!

Larissa C.

Yelp
Our server Michael was fantastic!! We love coming in for late night ramen on the weekends and he is always so helpful and caring and knowledgeable. The best in the industry honestly. We will keep coming back to Craft Urban just to have Michael's expertise!

Susan E.

Yelp
Food was mediocre for the cost. The turkey sandwich was lunch meat on bread. Really?!

Merrie J.

Yelp
Ordered burgers rare cam out half well , why??? Very rubbery outdid and half well have rare microwave frozen or something. And sauce suppose to be fondue tast like powdered milk. Won't be going back. Waitress was wonderful. She should find new place

Courtney P.

Yelp
Long story short: We stopped in for happy hour, expecting to stay for dinner, but only had 1 drink each and an appetizer from their happy hour menu and left disappointed. Details: Service was great, but we were the only other table there at the time. I looked at their cocktail menu and while unique, everything seemed a bit off by one or two ingredients that didn't sound good. So I had a glass of wine, my boyfriend ordered the Pickle on the Side cocktail with land debated (hard) about sending it back. Their happy hour menu only extended to their Buffalo Cauliflower & Fried Cheese curds, which once again, was disappointing. We tried the cheese curds because we figured it was a safe choice & it came with house pickles, and we usually love house pickles. When the plate came out, half of it was filled with fried curds and the rest was filled with fried THIN slices of pickles, fried slices of red onion & peppers. The fried onions were fun, but the peppers were weird and we were super sad the pickles were so thin & FRIED! We were hoping for fresh given the menu didn't say they came fried. We visited, we tried, we won't be going back.

Bonnie S.

Yelp
Food was ok- very few beverage options. Waitress was terrible- seemed to have no desire to be here. Of all the aces I could have chosen in Geneva for lunch - this was a fail.

John K.

Yelp
Don't give many five stars, but Craft Urban is the exception. First time there and didn't know what to expect. Popped in on a Sunday, around noonish, and there was no wait for brunch, which could be a red flag, but not at CU. Cool vibe and super nice server who suggested the Chilaquiles and Chicken N Biscuit. We took him up on his suggestion and--Wow! The Chilaquiles had just the right mix of corn tortilla, chicken chorizo, tomato salsa, pickled veggies and eggs. The Chicken N Biscuit was the big surprise starting with a crumbly, yummy biscuit covered in chicken chorizo gravy, topped with a couple easy-over eggs and a crispy piece of chicken. Skip breakfast and dinner. Craft Urban for brunch is enough.

Barbara R.

Yelp
Service is really bad. Kitchen closed while we were waiting for our meal! Although they comped our meal, the service and food were not worth a repeat visit. I'm sorry to say

George F.

Yelp
Let me just start off by saying I've been here at least 3 times, maybe 4 and despite wanting to like this place, I just don't. Things sound good on the menu but don't translate into a minimal version of expectation on arrival. In fact, most of the stuff I've ordered (and those in my party), does not get eaten and as a real confirmation of missing the mark, it doesn't even make it to the to-go box. I also don't like that they pass the credit card merchant fee to the consumer. I know this is a direction many places are going toward, but its an insult to injury when you're leaving 3/4 of your meal behind. I do always tip well as the wait staff is great. too bad, I wanted to really like this place.

Sara P.

Yelp
Wish I could rate the food and drink, but after almost an hour of VERY patiently waiting I had to walk my crying, hungry, 4 and 6 year old out, saying "no please mom I'm so hungry I want to eat" because we still didn't have a table after being quoted 35-40 min wait. This was after our initial arrival, I told the host we would make the wait, as we drove almost 30 min to watch live music by our friend. I was surprised I needed to ask her if she needed my number or name before I walked out the door to wait. She said "oh, yea I do.." I realized afterward, I should have called and made a reservation, however Please train staff In better estimates wait times, as well as taking walk ins. But my advice would be to not trust their wait times..

Mike C.

Yelp
We dined in at 3:30 and apparently they were between the lunch and dinner menu? That meant we had maybe 3 menu items to choose from. A burger is $16, cool, adding bacon is an additional $6. Figured it would be extra, but increasing the cost of an item 40% should come with a warning. Just tell me you aren't open or warn us before we have the appetizer in that you only have 2 burgers and a chicken sandwich to choose from. Burger was over cooked. The whole experience was just kind of meh. The cheese curds were the only good thing about the experience. The bill ended up being $170 before tip for 3 burgers, a chicken sandwich, an app, and 5 drinks on the bill. I am completely flabbergasted. I feel like I got scammed. Insanely overpriced for completely mediocre food. I haven't felt completely ripped off at a restaurant like this before, maybe ever. If I lived in the area I'd never be back. Save your money and eat literally anywhere else.

Amir N.

Yelp
Excellent place, great had crafted smoked drinks and delicious food. Excellent service and music. So glad we found this local gem.

Jen R.

Yelp
Oooooh, do I love me some Craft Urban! I can't think of one thing that I've gotten here that I didn't like. The cocktails are top-notch, the ambiance and employees are kewl, and the food gets chef's kiss after chef's kiss! Top plates for me are: 1. Cheese curds, which are tempura fried and include little pieces of pickled onions, which was an unexpected and welcome surprise because fried pickles are my love language. 2. Homemade craft butter thing, which is whatever the chef felt like making that day. So far I've had an Old Fashioned-flavored butter and another one that I can't quite remember, because I blacked out from how good it was. 3. Buffalo cauliflower, which has the most amazing homemade buffalo sauce. Once I leaned in to get a whiff of the plate we were just brought and I inhaled steamy pepper directly into my lungs, which caused me to cough but my breath was flavored like the sauce for a few minutes so I'd say it was worth it. 4. Spicy chicken sammich, because these are also my love language. I haven't gotten around to trying their late night ramen yet, but I have been to their Drag Brunch, which was fun and included bottomless mimosas (which are not bottomless but they do not skimp on the booze on these). Don't forget your punch card!

Bailey P.

Yelp
Came here on a Monday for lunch and our party of 6 had to wait for a table even though the place didn't look very busy. There isn't much waiting space at the hostess stand and it was too cold to wait outside so I felt like I was in everyone's way. Once we were seated we ordered our food and drinks right away and it took a very long time for them to make it. I got the blue plate special which came with soup or salad and a sandwich. I got the pumpkin soup which tasted SO good. It was definitely the highlight of my visit. I also got the black bean veggie burrito which was not my favorite. It didn't even have black beans in it?? The presentation was cute but the taste was very bland. My sister ordered the grilled cheese which looked so thick and delicious so maybe next time I will have to try that. Also, their to-go containers are super cute.

Cheri P.

Yelp
Visited my niece and took a chance on this place...cute environment. We were there after 3pm & had 2 entree options...a burger or hot chicken sandwich. Tried to order the nachos & they weren't available. We ordered burgers and one was cold and they were very dry. Very disappointing.

Sharmika F.

Yelp
Came here for ramen bc I wanted to try something different from the usual. Trash. Do not recommend. Boooooo Other menu items might be alright. This review is based solely on the ramen. Which is trash. And I do not recommend.

Ernie B.

Yelp
Visited Craft Urban today. I am confused by this location. When we've gone here it's never crowded but the service is always slow and don't expect to be seated without a reservation. Servers will drop off a drinks and you want see them see them again frigid 20 min. Drop off your food check in for the check. The restaurant is open, so it's not that the staff is running around. They seem clueless to their clients needs. The food here is average. Had the classic breakfast today. Toast was greasy, 5 fingerling potatoes. Better off at Nosh or Butttermilk for traditional breakfast. Have had the brunch tacos, burger, the chilaquiles on previous trips. Overall there are better options within walking distance for brunch. Try Nobel, Stockholm's or the previously mentioned Nosh. I think you'll be much happier.

Lisa S.

Yelp
It was Sunday Fun Day at Craft Urban. This venue offers local American flare and boasts a solid seasonal craft cocktail menu. Each dish is served in an eclectic hodgepodge that reminds me of my grandmother's 1960's home dish ware. The best part of the meal was their Key Lime Sticky buns-warm buns topped with zestful lime glaze. This was definitely just the right amount of sweetness. The gazpacho was also refreshing summer soup.

Katie N.

Yelp
Please note my experience is only on coming here for drinks and I did not try any food on my visit. They have qr code on the table to pull up food and drink menus. Place was very busy and to me the inside felt cramped. Waitstaff did not have a lot of space to stand while waiting for orders or inputting into the pos system. As a result, the service was slow. I also noticed on the receipt there was an additional fee if paying by credit card. Also, the entire place smelled like Cole slaw/vinegar to me which was strange.

Jan M.

Yelp
Craft Urban is our new favorite in a town with many great options! Although we live an hour away, family business has been bringing us back to the tri-cities for frequent visits. Many out-of-state cousins have also been returning and we almost always end up meeting for lunch or dinner in Geneva. Yesterday we stopped here for an early supper, and the three of us were delighted with the atmosphere, the service and the food. The menu offers many interesting choices, several with a modern twist. My cousin and I each had the excellent Chopped Salad as an entree with the addition of succulent and perfectly cooked shrimp. The remoulade dressing was just the right amount - added to enhance, not overpower the fresh salad ingredients. My husband ordered the "not your average" Nachos. He loved every bite and was amazed that the tortilla chips stayed perfectly crisp until the end! Drinks were expertly made. We will return.

Alice P.

Yelp
Party of 4 here. We all wanted to like but left disappointed and under-whelmed to say the least. There are some amazing lunch spots in Geneva, but imo this is not one of them. Service wasn't bad but cheeseburgers were overpriced. (for $16 I expect amazing.) Wish I had gone to Nobel House or Bien Trucha.

Mary L.

Yelp
We ate here in September with our teen and young adult kids and our cousins from out of state. What I recall most is how loud it was and that no one in our party could hear the servers and visa versa. The place is very cute with a modern urban lux vibe that I appreciate. The staff is friendly. Food was homey recipes. Some ordered pot roast and chicken. My chicken was over salted and pot roast was extremely small serving. Come for expensive cocktails and shareables, maybe save dinner for someplace better. So many options in Geneva!

Kate S.

Yelp
I came here with a friend who goes here at least once a week. She talks about it every time I'm in town, so I had to give it a try. I totally understand why she loves it. We came for happy hour, which was a great deal ($5 cocktails/wine, as well as their appetizers). Their menu changes somewhat frequently with the seasons, from my understanding, so when we were there they had some fall-themed cocktails. I had the "pear pressure", which had tequila, pear, lime, thyme, and "harvest foam" (some sort of delicious cinnamon thing). It was amazing. The food options sounded incredible, and they have lots of pre-existing vegetarian friendly options. Their menu also indicates that they can make most things vegetarian or gluten free, which is a nice touch. The service was great, too. The bartender was attentive and very nice and made sure we had what we needed but wasn't ever pushy. The vibe inside is casual with a side of trendy, which works well for where it's located in a little nook off of the third street shopping district. If I lived closer, I would also probably go here at least once a week, like my friend does. I will definitely be back the next time I'm visiting the burbs.

Sarah R.

Yelp
The atmosphere is really good, knowledgeable wait staff... however, I was not wowed by the food. If you're going to get something I recco the tacos.

Laresa B.

Yelp
Very cute quaint local spot! Had a brunch date here with my Mother in Law and this place exceeded expectations for sure. We were seated very quickly on a Saturday afternoon, the server was super nice and informative. She suggested many items on the menu in which we tried out. We ended up only ordering a few shareables as the menu isn't very extensive and didn't have dishes I'd consider as brunch options. However, we had the cheese curds and fried pickles (VERY GOOD) and the Buffalo Cauliflower (AMAZING) and the Raspberry lemon sticky buns (EXCEPTIONAL)!! The only reason I can't give this place is a 5 star rating is b/c the menu's offerings weren't much to choose from. But this is definitely the place for shareables!

Shirley W.

Yelp
Enjoyed dinner on patio. Lobster Sammie and Short Rib Gnocchi were fantastic! Server, Michael, was great. Food came out quickly. Drinks were delayed but worth the wait. Loved my lemon drop martini and my husband really liked his amber beer. Live music on patio was completely enjoyable on a beautiful evening. Will be back!

Valeda B.

Yelp
The ambiance is amazing!!!! Roger the bartender was very perspective and personal able. The food is also pretty tasty!!! The service was so amazing we tipped Roger 100%!

Alicia J.

Yelp
This is my favorite eatery. Craft is the perfect word for it and Rosie is the best server. The burgers... omg! Breakfast tacos, the potato's... the bottomless mimosa...the HOT SAUCE! Rosie had the great idea of a hot sauce flight. Two other tables heard the convo and said they'd come back for it. Yes! Maybe a cilantro infused one? Idk, this is the second time I've been here, last time I had pot roast fettuccini. Omg I still remember how delicious that was. There is no limit to the delicious concoctions. They use whiskey acres whiskey... my fav!

Hunter L.

Yelp
I visited this restaurant on a Sunday night. We were greeted quickly and sat immediately. For an app we ordered the Cheese curds. We waited for the curds 30+ Minutes. There was only about 12 people in the whole restaurant. Our curds finally came out. The waitress said they were going to give us another app for free since we waited so long. They gave us the buffalo cauliflower. I love cheese curds. However these cheese curds were trash. They had things not cheese breaded and fried with them. So you may be eating a curd, or you may be eating a fried shallot. Even the pieces you knew were cheese curds tasted like they had been fried in oil that had previously fried fish. So they all had that fishy taste. The cauliflower was good, with good flavor. Could have been cooked a hair longer. I had the chicken sandwich for my meal. The chicken filet it self was very good. The bun was very good. The sauce on the chicken was so thick that after eating one bite of the sandwich, the sauce had soaked the bun completely. So I only got to eat 1 bite of the bun. The restaurant had good vibes. It had a nice socially distanced table layout. At the entrance of the restaurant was a very bright white light fixture. Its color temp was way too bright white. It did not match the vibe of the rest of the restaurant and really brought down the vibe.

Yelp
While craft urban's ambiance certainly screams "urban" and fun, whimsical and sort of contemporary museum, it lacks in the all important areas like food and drink. My steak frites were tough and the knife i was given made it difficult to cut. The chimichurri tasted more like basil pesto. The cocktails were too sweet, and the dessert had stale kettle corn on top. I expected more, I left disappointed.
