Crans Ambassador, an SLH Hotel

Loved the wonderful service from ski valet to all the hotel staff. The attentive service at the beautiful breakfast remembered our coffee order each morning and were so kind. One night we mixed up our dinner reservation and they booked a different restaurant and drove us over. It was an extremely pleasant stay. |Super easy to catch the gondola to the mountain 200 meters away.

Our stay was mid August We were told that our room was not an upgrade but we were happy with our room nonetheless. We had a view of the hillside which was perfect for us with a great view of the valley from restroom. The staff were fantastic from the moment we arrived with the offer of their tea, to the breakfast waitstaff who remembered our previous breakfast orders, to the housekeeping personnel who accommodated our requests. We were informed at check in that there is no air conditioning and the weather was so good that we had our blankets on at night. The pool and saunas were fantastic after a day of hiking and a welcome amenity included with our stay. We had dinner our last night which was also midweek so there was no problem finding a table. The food was excellent and the price even better when compared to the tourist restaurants in the village below. An excellent experience.

What makes this hotel special, besides many other things, fist of all are the people. I could give 10 stars for the service, was only possible to choose 5. Edvin, and all staff from reception, wallet and on, were simply amazing. They went above and beyond of customer service, to fulfill all our wishes, accomodate our needs. Our son had to stay in the hotel while we ran the UTMB. He told us, they made him feel special, welcomed and amazingly taken care of. To the hotel managers: please, pass on my utmos gratitude to Edvin and all staff ( wish I could recall their names) They are the heart and soul of the hotel. Be proud of them all. About the hotel, all is amazing, views, rooms, spa, food. We will be back for sure.

Staff were great, but missed on various meals. Rooms were small and bit tired. Location was great as was right near ski lift. Spa requires suits.

A good hotel with an excellent service and staff conveniently situated close to he Arnouva ski lift.||A very nice swimming pool but a rather poor spa area. The restaurants serve food of good quality but you need to reserve well in advance even as a hotel guest.

This is not a 5 star hotel. There are a lot of team members that are very kind and nice. However, we faced a lot of rude attitude and unprofessionalism. Firstly, charging 9 francs for a bottle of tap water that should be provided in the room? Well.. Secondly, first time a restaurant in the hotel didn’t manage to find a table for guests who have two rooms in the hotel. There was a table available outside, but the attitude was “there are other people, not much we can do”. Luckily, Six Senses managed to find a table for us at their brilliant Japanese restaurant. The worst thing is that online it says that there is an Air conditioner. There is NO AC in the room. No one told us about it. When I called reception, a person was very rude to me. The place is definitely very beautiful in a stunning location. But sadly we felt very unwelcome here.

A very nice reception, great staff, cute little rooms, wonderful (Japanese) food, fantastic cocktails, and most of all, that view, simply magnificent!|Dropped by there in summer, but the coziness in winter exponentiates the feel-good factor ☺️

You can't go wrong with the Crans Ambassador hotel. A hotel with excellent rooms with breath-taking views on Crans-Montana and the mountains. Service is excellent, great rooms, and wonderful restaurant.
