Location: Crawfish Cafe is on the right hand side of the Hong Kong Mall near Ocean Palace. Now that crawfish season is in full swing, I thought I’d try this spot out with a group of friends. I recommend getting a reservation if possible because it gets packed. My friends and I started off with garlic noodles, crawfish etouffee, wings (fish sauce and nashville hot), and crawfish (the grail sauce which is garlic butter and thai basil) The wings were okay, nothing mind-blowing but the garlic noodles were fantastic! The crawfish etouffee was also decent but out of all the appetizers, I would highly recommend the garlic noodles. As for the crawfish, there’s four levels of spice (Mild, Medium, Spicy, and Extra Spicy). I ordered the Spicy and it definitely packed a punch- I was sweating a little bit lol. For reference, I enjoy eating spicy buldak noodles (as long as there’s an egg in it to dilute the spice a little bit) Flavor-wise, it was fantastic! Corn and potatoes were good, and the andouille sausage had that snappy case that we all crave. And with the big crawfish all doused in the Grail sauce, I was in heaven. Service-wise, our waiter was attentive and professional. It also didn’t take long at all for the food to come out. Overall, a solid spot for crawfish if you are craving viet-cajun!

Google
Finally crawfish season so we tried out the Crawfish Cafe location located inside Hong Kong 4. We were seated very quickly and our server was the best. He was attentive without being overbearing and had the nicest attitude. We spent a pretty penny here but we wanted to have a diverse spread of foods we were craving. We ordered the garlic noodles, fried rice, etouffe, gumbo, boudain egg rolls, fried okra, oyster sampler, crawfish in Thai basil seasoning, crawfish in lemon pepper seasoning and mussels in some garlic butter seasoning. Everything was fantastic! I would skip the garlic noodles next time, they were a bit soft and soggy but the gumbo was so delicious. Fried rice was perfect for the kids and they loved the fried okra. Boudain egg rolls had some cheese in it so that was a surprise. Thai basil seasoning and lemon pepper was so so good if you want something else besides Viet Cajun seasoning. A bit early in the season so crawfish weren’t huge but nonetheless, still so delicious ($11.99/lb). All in all, food was great, service was even better. Would definitely return.

Google
First time here and Kendal got me together. She was so helpful in telling me all the specials and how to access the market prices for the boils. I asked her to mix me up her favorite drink which was bomb! Trust that she knows what she's doing! My food came so fast, I didn't have time to get comfortable. I ordered boil bag #1. The shrimp were so big! And the crawfish beignets? KEEP THEM! 3 stuffed pockets of deliciousness! The food is reasonably priced. I was just greedy! I will be back and I'm bringing folks!! I need to try more food!

Google
The crawfish are the best that we have found in Houston, and we have found and tried many places! We highly recommend the Grail as the spice profile to use. Garlicky, buttery with basil and other spices, so good. We also had fried shrimp and as sides the garlic noodles and the red beans and rice - excellent!

Google
1. My favorite place to get Vietnamese crawfish. The lemon pepper with garlic butter is the way to eat this. So delish when sucking the heads. 2. Shrimp Po-Boy is good. Good texture on the bread. Nice crispy shrimp. All the right toppings with the mayo dipping sauce. Ordered a side of garlic noodles that was garlic forward but still very good.

Google
This place is delicious! We had everything. Crawfish, snow crabs, clams, fried fish, nuggets, Mac n cheese, okra - and everything was delicious. Service was quick and efficient. My only complaint is that all the food came in separate bags which gives the impression that they aren’t made fresh to order (this was confirmed because the food was slightly cool instead of hot like it’s supposed to be) but the flavoring was so good, I won’t knock a star for it. Highly recommend!!!

Google
I got the smack pack and garlic butter noodles.m and both were delicious!! I didn’t ask for the servers name but he was so nice and made the experience even more amazing! I recommend the frozen margarita as well. I will definitely be back soon because I am craving this place again!

Yelp
In Chinatown, I believe it's the best seafood boil you'll ever have. Service was quick and to the point. they have alcoholic options and many many different seafood options. We got the snack pack with shrimp and Cajun rice and shrimp with no head and some wings to go on the side. I come here very often

Yelp
Over the years, Crawfish Cafe has consistently been mine and my family's favorite place for crawfish. We always order takeout out and prefer to eat it at home because of how messy it gets but I decided to dine in this time. Conveniently, there's a handwashing station near the bathrooms to help with the messiness! It was pretty busy for a random Tuesday evening. We ordered 2 lbs of crawfish with 2 orders of potatoes, Cajun fried rice, and fries. Market price was $9.99 which wasn't bad. I ordered medium spice level (what i always order) for the crawfish but felt that it wasn't spicy at all. When I eat crawfish, I like it to be a tolerable spice but this one was veryyy mild. Lol my nose wasn't runny like it usually is when I eat crawfish! I might have to get spicy or the extra spicy next time. A friend told me that he had gone on two separate occasions at both the Bellaire and the Heights locations and felt the same so I guess it's not just me!

Yelp
I always come here once a year to get a taste of crawfish during the season because the taste is always consistent. We usually always get the Cajun fries and I get the Mix for crawfish. Soooo yummy, perfectly buttery and has the kick of Thai basil. The servers are prompt on checking in on you and there's a sink right next to the restrooms to wash your hands. Lots of parking, this is in the hong Kong mall plaza next to Ocean Palace.

Yelp
The epitome of Viet-Cajun could not be more evident than a place like Crawfish Cafe. I've eaten at a lot of places over the last couple of years that serve crawdaddies with a little Viet flair, but few have me reminiscing about the food as much as Crawfish Cafe does. I am constantly thinking about how delicious my experiences here have been and fully admit that I'm a fanboy over their food. Their location within the wing of Hong Kong Supermarket isn't obvious to folks cruising along Bellaire Blvd. Head to the parking lot and follow the signs into what feels like a dead part of the mall. There is a whole setup of tables and plenty of seats. They have their busy evenings, but I've been lucky to avoid most crowds. The crawfish served here reminds me a lot of the ones I've eaten in Louisiana: large, plump and full of flavor. I am particularly fond of their house special blends, which include the mix (garlic butter & lemon pepper), the grail (garlic butter + Thai basil), and the signature (garlic butter + kickin Cajun). The latter is the winner by a slim margin and the grail is also a wonderful addition as well. I love throwing in potatoes, sausage, and eggs as well. I have also have enjoyed their crawfish cheesebreads, crawfish egg rolls, crawfish empanadas, and boudin balls. Their garlic noodles are classic, as is the crawfish fried rice. I think the oyster nachos were the the least impressive, but it was still pretty fun visually. They also offer fried shrimp, chicken wings, and even catfish and other premium seafood such as lobster tail, and whole flounders. The service has always been on point. I appreciate their handwashing station and friendly wait staff. Prices are never going to be their strong suit, but I always know anything seafood related is going to cost a tinge more than most things. Fans of the crawfish life, will definitely appreciate all that Crawfish Cafe has to offer. __________ (#1) My photos: https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/crawfish-cafe-houston-3?userid=ysCBsXWPB-LAiewVS3jZfQ

Yelp
Service was great, food was decent. The crawfish were huge with great flavor (Thai basil is what we got) Garlic noodles with crawfish: it's very heavy and dense. And it doesn't heat up well at home Garlic toast: must have, dip it in the sauce they give you for the egg rolls, 10/10. Crawfish egg rolls: 10/10

Yelp
Came here to meet my foodie friends. They ordered seasonal crawfish and crabs but I ordered blackened shrimp tacos. There were not flavorful. I don't know what kind of sauce I can use to get it favored. I actually wanted something else but they ran out. It was a little disappointing. But since I can receive dining rewards, I will be back to try it again.

Yelp
My new favorite crawfish place. My bf and I just loved this place. Their Crawfish is so good, we've been coming here ever since I found this place in TikTok and we just keep coming back whenever I'm craving crawfish. Excellent service as well!

Yelp
We came at 3 when they first opened, it wasn't super busy with guests but I guess they were still setting up for the day, because our server was a little slow to check up on us and take our orders. We had their fried catfish with shrimp, clams in the mix sauce, live crawfish in the mix sauce, and garlic noodles with shrimp. Everything was pretty good, except the garlic noodles were a little too salty for our liking. Overall we love their live crawfish, it was fresh, large and perfectly seasoned and cooked. We also love the way they fry their fries here.

Yelp
I don't eat crawfish anywhere else anymore. Why would you when you can come here. As a first timer you might be confused on the entrance but as soon as you go through the doors you'll see Crawfish Cafe is right in front. The service is amazing every time. Now for the main attraction, the crawfish. So good, not one bad or small crawfish, big crawfish, great flavors and seasonings. I like their signature hot. I don't even look for the price because I feel this is the only place worth it. So many menu items, crab clusters, black mussels, shrimp, boudin balls (just recently tried and it was amazing) nothing ever disappoints. They do have drinks as well. Took my mother for Mother's Day, she has a wonderful time. I can't wait to go back.

Yelp
Crawfish season is upon us so a group of friends and I decided to start the season at one of the best spots in my opinion. I've been to this location multiple times and it hits every time. It is located in the Hong Kong Mall in Chinatown. It is a massive shopping center and parking is plentiful. Every time I have come, I have gotten seated right away no matter the size of the crew I am with. On this last trip, I came with a large group of friends and they easily accommodated us. Michelle was our server and it happened to be her first day. She handled us like a pro! Major props to her. It is an open concept but there is a partition separating it from the mall. This was a nice change from the last time I came where patrons of the restaurant were exposed to people walking by constantly. Whether you're craving crawfish or not, this place has a nice variety of food. There's always that one person who won't eat the delicious mud bugs. They have a nice mix of Viet style food but also have Cajun thrown in the mix as well. Appetizers here are great. I have had Cajun calamari, crawfish eggrolls, boudin balls, oyster nachos, and Cajun fries. The Cajun fried rice, shrimp fried rice and garlic noodles are solid pairings with your seafood choices. One of their newest additions that I had not seen on prior visits was the Smack Packs. We ordered 3 Smack Pack XLs for the table and each pack included Cajun rice, shrimp, snow crab cluster, corn, potato, sausage, boiled egg, smack sauce. If you want a little variety outside of the boils and not have to add alot of things a la carte, this is a good option. The snow crab was especially good and came with all the utensils needed to break it down. I usually always get a pound of crawfish and a pound of headless shrimp. Prices vary according to market price. Current prices are pretty high. My go to sauce is the Signature sauce which is a garlic butter and Cajun seasoning mix, extra spicy. The flavors and spice level is exactly what I crave and keep me coming back. The crawfish here has always been mostly bigger and easy to peel and eat. The shrimp though expensive is a must for me. What puts Crawfish Cafe above the rest is they mostly peel it for you as well so the flavors soak in and I can peel and eat quickly. They also have a bunch of fried seafood and wing options which are delicious as well. Don't sleep on their po'boys either. Overall, to me, Crawfish Cafe has always been a great experience for me on every visit. I will definitely be back during crawfish season!
google avatar

Shirly A.

Yelp
Food was great! Also the prices are very reasonable. Service was a bit slow but they did have a good amount of people there the day I went. Alcohol drinks are good in price and amount of alcohol. Their wings are amazing.

Yelp
I always look forward to crawfish season because of the delicious crawfish seasoning at crawfish cafe. Wait may be long during weekends so be prepared to wait!

Yelp
My go to crawfish place in Houston! The grail is my fav flavor blend:) it gets a little hot but that's just a little thing lol. The appetizers are delicious and I looove their micheladas sm. Definitely consistent with their food quality and good service overall!

Yelp
The only place that stays consistent and is delicious! I come from California and visit Houston once a year and it's been a few years now and I truly love this place. The food is always on point and I usually get 3-4 pounds of crayfish extra spicy. This recent visit wasn't the best because the crayfish was on the smaller side because of the freeze I heard of. I also decided to order a pound of new Zealand clams and was disappointed. It was even smaller than the crayfish and it was kind of a rubber texture which means it was probably overcooked to me. Another ding is the service, we sat near the hand washing station and our server barely checked in on us unless we called them over. Ordered something and he forgot which would be okay but it happened twice. Lastly, I like this place because of the open space concept they have for this location. It doesn't feel cramped and I have space. It's nice because I went with my family who had children. They were given crayons and were able to entertain themselves by drawing on the paper. Definitely a plus!! I'll come back for sure!
google avatar

Cindy S.

Yelp
I feel like I only come here once a year, but it definitely only gets better. The crawfish was 12.99/lb and shrimp was $14.99/lb (March 2024)--everything was so good. I like to do a mix of Thai basil and the mix, mild. I added corn and potatoes and it was an extremely filling meal. This location is so much better than the one on Shepherd... no clue why. Service was quick and efficient. Don't forget to sign up for the rewards club to earn points! I recommend eating early or else they get packed quickly.
google avatar

Evelyn M.

Yelp
Crawfish seasoning is delicious. Always my go-to place for crawfish. However, sometimes it can feel warm and no AC blowing. Overall, good food. Always busy so getting on the wait list helps.

Quoc P.

Yelp
Good food Service very friendly I love it. I will be back I feel like convertibles every time I come this location. I love it

Tammy H.

Yelp
This was a great crawfish place I tried out with a friend. It was delicious and cooked well. I also order the crab legs. Also extremely flavorful. I will come back again for more. The service staff were very nice and courteous. I also enjoyed the location. It's a part of HK Mall and the area was cordoned off, next to Ocean Palace. Restrooms were clean and easily accessible. They also had a sink area to wash your hands.
google avatar

Nanhi T.

Yelp
Crawfish cafe is probably my favorite place for crawfish out anything seafood broil-esque. If you like garlic-y and sweet basil flavors... the Grail is the flavor for you! Their fried rice is so yummy. Not too much oil or butter, and full of other ingredients and protein! If you like the cabin flavors... I do recommend the crawfish eggrolls.
google avatar

Lily L.

Yelp
I ordered a DoorDash order. Waited 20 minutes past my scheduled pick up time, and during this time no one ever checked up on me. The host seated the customers and saw me waiting aside yet didn't bother to check what I'm waiting for. There were only a few tables seated, so the place was pretty quiet. Until another doordasher came, a girl came and asked me for my name. I then watched her walk into the kitchen, found my packed fried rice, and then marked "ready for pick up" on the tablet. So my order has been done for a long time just no one cared. When I opened my fried rice at home I was disappointed again. The rice was good, but on the order they said "sausage included", so I only added shrimp, but there was no sausage pieces in my rice, they forgot about it. Paid $15 for a box of rice with some shrimps was not worth it. Won't come back again.
google avatar

Megan H.

Yelp
Decent size crawfish and great customer service ! Ryan is the best server & management ! Ordered 4 pounds of Garlic butter & Thai basil crawfish . Great flavor very happy with the desserts also .
google avatar

Lynda H.

Yelp
The crawfish was amazing! I got it with garlic butter sauce and the kicking cajun sauce! Absolutely the best and the service was great!
google avatar

Michelle D.

Yelp
Delivery service apps updated their prices. I still love this place. I'm still debating on to which crawfish place to stay at though. For now I'm going in between both. Def should get crawfish while it's still in season. Will be out of season VERY SOON!
google avatar

Patrick L.

Yelp
Almost the end of the crawfish season. It last till July. We had to get another go before it does. It wasn't very busy for a change. We usually had to wait for an hour to get seated. We were shown to our table right away. We ordered our drinks and our usual 2 lbs crawfish each... one with The Mix sauce (garlic butter & lemon pepper) and The Grail sauce ( garlic butter & Thai Basil). For a change, we also ordered 1 lb of New Zealand mussels with the Mix saice. To top it off, we ordered shrimp fried rice. Everything tasted so good! This is a good place to watch Sports with TVs all around. It has its own faucets and sinks to wash your hands before and after eating.
google avatar

Kelly N.

Yelp
I've been coming here for years, but have failed to write a review for some reason. Maybe because it just doesn't cross my mind to review my go-to crawfish spot after being a loyal customer for so long, or maybe because I always leave here so happy and satisfied that I can't even think about anything other than savoring the taste of their crawfish in my mouth while it still lasts. Probably a bit of both tbh. Well, if you can't tell by now from my subtle clues, I LOVE their crawfish! Specifically in THE MIX seasoning. I discovered it probably close to a decade ago and have not swayed since. Seriously, the only crawfish I eat is The Mix crawfish here during crawfish season. Every year, when I come back at the start of the season, I think, "is it really as good as I remember? Or will this be the year I try out a new place?" I haven't been tempted to try a different crawfish restaurant after all this time, so there's your answer. Quality remains high year after year.
google avatar

Emily T.

Yelp
What a delicious spot to come for crawfish! Service is friendly and the space is clean and conveniently located in an area with lots of shops, restaurants, and markets. Crawfish was $9.99 when we went in early February. Sizes were good and the sauces were all very flavorful and delicious. We added potatoes and sausage to our bags which added some variety. I also ordered their french bread which added some nice carbs. Their oysters were also very fresh and delicious! 10/10 would recommend this spot for crawfish! They give you cute aprons and gloves so you don't stain your clothes/dirty your hands. Although halfway through my meal, I ended up putting my gloves to the side so I can dig in a little easier. They have bathrooms and a hand washing station.
google avatar

Allie L.

Yelp
This place is kind of hidden since its sign hangs over what looks like a beauty salon but the restaurant is located through the double doors to the right of the salon. Shoutout to waiter Austin for his recs from the menu and beyond. He was so nice to even demo for us crawfish first-timers how to de-shell and de-vein the thing! What we ordered for two dudes and two ladies: -Cajun calamari: perfectly fried with a creamy dip -garlic noodz: very rich garlicy, buttery noodles but could be a bit too salty with repeated bites -one pound of crawfish (in season per waiter Austin's rec) with mushrooms and potatoes in the signature mix flavor -one pound of head-on shrimp We finished everything and were satisfied but not overly stuffed. For other crawfish first-timers, we realized the crawfish was a lot more work to eat than the shrimp and yields less meat. But not regretting the experience.
google avatar

Phi V.

Yelp
Service: 1/5 , If you get a table they do require at least half of your table to be there. I had a party of 6 , and had to wait 40 minutes just to get a table. The restaurant was only 60 percent full but they refuse to service us because we did not meet their quota. Food: The Thai basil was garlic : 4/5 , The crawfish was medium sized. Price : 3/5 Restroom: 1/5 , The restroom still needs a lot of work. Safety: 2/5 , It's definitely one of those shopping plazas you want to stay away from at night because of its lack of lighting and security presence. You have to ask your is the long wait , the dirty restroom , and lack of safety worth it?
google avatar

Joshua O.

Yelp
Thank you Jennifer for the incredible service! we had a great time and ordered so much crawfish that we had to take some of that delicious seafood home! We can't wait to return to enjoy more!!! :)
google avatar

Jamie L.

Yelp
Came here during off season so I got frozen crawfish but the seasoning is top notch! I got the lemon pepper garlic with potatoes and it is seriously so good. However, beware that the spice levels are quite spicy! I got the level just above mild and I was seriously wishing I had milk. Service was good. This is like an open spaced restaurant in Hong Kong mall btw.
google avatar

Lisa J.

Yelp
What can I say?!! If you're in need of a crawfish "fix", like I was last night, then look no further than this place! Excellent Viet/Cajun crawfish! Comes in a plastic clear bag with all the juices and seasonings on display, ready to be picked, shelled, and slurped! lol- Service was speedy and attentive. Only missing one star for ambiance, but who really needs ambiance when eating crawfish!

Hector C.

Yelp
Shrimp was over cooked sauce had no seasoning and. The beer is hot don't came here go to LA FISHERMAN
google avatar

Kristine L.

Yelp
I lovvvve this place!! Crawfish Cafe is a fantastic place to get your crawfish/seafood boil fix. It's located in a shopping center that can get pretty packed. I highly recommend parking in the back by the restaurant. I've been hear twice and never had an issue parking. My go-tos are two pounds of crawfish with potatoes mixed with The Grail (garlic butter and thai basil) and The Signature (garlic butter and cajun mix) at a medium. If you like yours spicy I would go two hotter than the medium. The crawfish is super juicy and comes right out of the shell!! The first time I came, I had the shrimp and it was cooked very well as well. They provide aprons, gloves, different seasonings, extra bowls and sauces. There's an open sink to wash your hands and a bathroom neat by. Overall this is by far my favorite place to get crawfish in Houston, TX.
google avatar

Timmy L.

Yelp
This is one of my favorite crawfish spots located inside shopping center of Hong Kong market in the corner of ocean palace. When I came here, the price was $9.99/lb but it was the start of crawfish season so it wasn't big but it was fresh. I got garlic butter mixed with Thai basil and also garlic butter mixed with lemon pepper. I liked the mixed lemon pepper more as it had better flavoring but it did lack garlic pieces compared to the past times I came here. This place doesn't disappoint though overall and will come back. Also have an program where you spend $200 dollars over time, you get $20 to use next time.

Yelp
Flavorful crawfish. Great size. Best crawfish in bellaire. Ask for Ben, awesome customer service.
google avatar

Michael N.

Yelp
Came here for National Crawfish Day. The food and service was excellent. Our server, Benjamin, was very attentive to us. Be sure to ask for him when you dine in!
google avatar

Vincent D.

Yelp
I'm from California and I've been told that getting cajun food in Houston is a must. Prior to heading home, I recently had some time to dine at Crawfish Cafe (Bellaire location), and I gotta say... it was an exceptional experience. I've had plenty of shrimp toast at family parties, but I've never had crawfish toast aka crawfish cheese bread before. It was an absolute delight! The warm and gooey cheese perfectly complemented the flavorful crawfish. The bread itself was fluffy and fresh, serving as an excellent base for the scrumptious crawfish filling. Moving on to the main event, we tried two different preparations of crawfish: 1 pound of crawfish with garlic butter and 1 pound crawfish with Thai basil. Both seasonings were truly outstanding and showcased the kitchen's expertise in crafting mouthwatering crawfish creations. The service at Crawfish Cafe was top-notch, staff was friendly and attentive. There's a sink outside of the bathroom for patrons to wash their hands quickly. Overall, dinner was a delight and I would love to come back if I'm ever in Houston again!

Yelp
This place was amazing!! We chose the Signature flavor (garlic butter + Cajun) and Grail (thai basil and garlic butter) with the crawfish, baby clams, and snow crabs. Both flavors were delicious but the signature flavor was our favorite. If you like spice, the extra spicy level had a good kick. The seafood was fresh and had tons of flavor. The garlic bread paired well. We also ordered the Cajun shrimp fried rice. That was awesome as well and was seasoned perfectly. It was a tad bit too salty but other than that it went well with the seafood. The service was great. It's a little weird eating such a messy food in an Asian mall, but they provided gloves and a bib. Overall our experience was great! My partner who doesn't even like seafood that much loved it as well.
google avatar

Jamie L.

Yelp
The staff and food were BEYOND amazing. The entire staff (names below) were exceptionally amazing. They all checked on us throughout our meal and made our experience to die for. The food was top notch but the staff is the reason we will be back. All the staff included in the team work in making our experience top notch were Jeanna, Michael, Iisah, mark, Christine, Marvin, Cody, Vincent, Ryan, Thanh, and Jennifer. I have never experienced a better staff that works together to ensure every customer has the best experience. They all had a roll in making our meal the perfect experience.

Yelp
Visiting from Seattle and had to checkout some crawfish out here. Not usually a fan of crawfish bc the effort to get that little piece of meat out is never rewarding. I'm usually a head on shrimp kind of girl. But, the crawfish here was definitely worth it! Probably the biggest I've ever seen and so fresh. The flavor (original Cajun) wasn't the best I've had but wasn't bad. The garlic noodles are sooooo good too, if you like creamy, this is it for you. I wanted to try a lot more but didn't want to end up with a bunch of leftovers. Definitely recommend this place! 1 lb $8.99 Go through the double doors directly behind the sign outside where old location is, don't go all the way through the main entrance doors like me, fail!

Frances H.

Yelp
This is my favorite crawfish spot. I love the flavor options. I have never been disappointed by anything I have ordered here.

Yelp
Came here with the besties for my first crawfish of the season!!! I think my eyes were bigger than my stomach and so we ordered crawfish, boudin balls and a dozen oysters. Everything was so good but I was sooo full at the end. The boudin balls were good, but they were so filling. I couldn't eat more than 1. The raw oysters were good, but they're running at $20 a dozen at the moment. Crawfish at the moment is $8.99 per pound. For the crawfish, i decided to go with their mixes. I got 2 pounds of the grail (garlic butter and Thai basil) and 2 pounds of the signature (garlic butter and kicking Cajun). Both flavors were sooo full of flavor. I didn't need any extra butter or the mayo they give you. Flavors were on point and the crawfish was dripping with those flavors! You order by the pound for each flavor so if you can't decide, get all the flavors! This location is inside the Hong Kong mall, but look for their sign on the outside of the building cause you can walk through those double doors and it will take you straight there. The service was really good! The staff was super attentive and even brought us to go cups for our drinks. Strong work to the crawfish cafe team!

Yelp
Food was 10/10! Price was 10/10! I don't know why it wasn't that busy when we were there cause this place is bomb! It was pretty much empty actually. We were bummed they didn't have fresh Dungeness crab the day we went but it was still a great experience and everything we ordered was delicious

Yelp
Whenever I visit Houston, I MUST get crawfish because the lemon pepper flavor at Crawfish Café is just too good! My boyfriend and I landed on Valentine's Day and decided that we wanted crawfish - thinking that others would rather eat something less messy for the holiday; we were wrong! Around 8:30 pm we were quoted 45 minutes to one hour. We waited about an hour for the table, a text was sent when the table was ready; I believe they stayed opened later than 10 pm to cater to everyone who were on the waitlist. The restaurant is in the middle of a plaza; it's pretty open and there are a lot of tables. We were informed by the host and server that the wait is usually not that long, it was only because it was a holiday. Everything we ate was great. Our server David was very helpful with explaining the menu and the items that are most popular. He recommended the oyster nacho, which did not look appetizing but tasted great. It was a fried oyster on top of a fried wonton chip with lettuce and tomato and a spicy mayo on top. Hush puppies were also great. We ordered one dozen oysters (for only $19.99!) and they were all FAT; I'm obsessed. For the main item, the crawfish, we both ordered two pounds of crawfish and it felt like a lot for only $10/lb (current market price)! We ordered "the mix" sauce which is lemon pepper with garlic butter in mild and lemon pepper extra spicy level. The potatoes are huge, I'm used to just baby potatoes at all the crawfish places back home. Gloves, bibs, limes, a bottle of mayonnaise (we had to ask our server what this is for, and he told us that some people like to eat their seafood with mayo and ketchup together - I don't recommend it). The crawfish was amazing, I'm glad we waited for the table. The only thing I hate about eating boiled seafood is the smell of garlic butter sticking to your hands forever afterwards. Overall, our bill rang about $90 for two people before tip, we did not have any drinks, which is pretty good! I will definitely be visiting Crawfish Café again every time I visit Houston!

Yelp
Sat down for an hour and still no food. No margaritas in the machine. Bad service. It's not that clean. Marvin, our server, was very kind, though.

Yelp
Great food! Gave us those thin plastic gloves to eat with, kept our hands clean! We had the Crawfish (frozen since its out of season but was still tasty at least for us), Snowcrab, and Shrimp. Two with "The Grail" seasoning and one with their signature.. forgot which, but they all tasted good! Nice staff! Told the waiter we were from outta town and he recommended a bunch of other spots to try out.

Yelp
Came here on a weeknight. Not sure if it was an off night, but it just wasn't as good as I remembered. The sizes were a good mix - flavor was ok. The crawfish came out warm and quickly became cold. It just didn't hit the spot for us. We ordered some calamari - it was the saltiest calamari we've had - couldn't finish it. The fried seafood plates just seem overpriced for what you actually get. Probably won't be back for a while.
