"Cream Pot claims to have invented the souffle pancake that’s popular in Japan and, more recently, in the U.S. The brunch spot has been serving them since 2009, and they’re still wonderful, fluffy clouds. None of the imitators have the darling “hobbit home meets French cottage” atmosphere of Cream Pot. On the savory side, the clear winner is the maguro eggs Benedict: raw ahi on poached eggs and rice, like breakfast sushi." - Martha Cheng

Highly recommend. Food and services were both well done. Souffle pancakes took the meal to another level...clouds. omelet, crepes, and benedict hit the savory spots. Then chased with some sweet pancakes really made the meal. Our service was impeccable, especially with how busy they were. Would recommend.

The experience we had here was incredible! Service was absolutely the best we've had near the end of our 2 week vacation. The food was amazing, but the staff is deserving of an award. We got Strawberry soufflé pancakes with lemon cream sauce, premium Hawaiian eggs Benedict, and cafe Vienna coffee. We were near full, but a crepe sounded perfect, so I asked for a pineapple crepe, which they didn't have on the menu, so the server asked the chef, to which she returned with some ideas/ options. I'll say we were very pleased! She even mentioned they are going to consider adding it to the menu! There was a short wait to get in, but without question it was worth it! We will be returning at least once more before we leave!

Went here on Christmas morning. Surprisingly there was only a short wait. Pricey, but very good breakfast. The decor of the restaurant is unique and what can be best described as "cute". Bring the woman in your life and she'll dig this place. The food and service were excellent. I had the burgundy beef stew omelette rice which was very good. We also had the souffle pancakes and Belgian waffles. All highly recommended!

My family and I had breakfast there. Their omelets are very good they are nice and fluffy and seasoned to perfection. Not overpowering flavors, just right for us. Their sweet menu is not too sweet, like I said before it’s perfect! Definitely, the Vienna coffee was a perfect combination with the soufflé pancakes and French toast. My kids loved the strawberry shake. Overall, the customer service is the best and making for the whole experience one of the best.

Amazing hole in the wall establishment. Staff was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. The way they handled themselves. I was quite impress with their interpersonal skills with the customers. The food is absolutely delicious as well. Best to get there when they open at 8AM or a little earlier as there can be a wait, but it moves by quick because staff is pumping customers in and out. I went here twice because the ambiance, food, and staff were just amazing. At both times they were only accepting cash, which is fine since they have an ATM close by in the lobby. Would highly recommend this place.

Located inside a hotel, we waited about 15 minutes to be sat. This is a smaller restaurant and at least one large table that is shared between parties. If you have more than 4 people it may be difficult to be sat without a lengthy wait. The food was worth the wait! We got two omelettes and shared an order of fluffy pancakes. The omelettes were substantial if you enjoy a savory breakfast. The fluffy pancakes are unbelievable and something you don’t find everywhere. Prices were about $20 per dish.

Probably one of my favourite brunch places to go to in Waikiki! The cream pot Vietnamese coffee was amazing! I highly recommend their omelettes and souffle pancakes for sure they are must tries here! The customer service was amazing and I would highly recommend anyone visiting to come here for brunch!

Very charming location and attention to detail. Prices are high for what you are getting. The cured beef eggs Benedict on rice patty was very tasty and a different take on the Benny. Would have been nice with additional accompaniments like a small potato hash or fruit. Soufflé pancakes are perfectly fluffy and not too sweet. Service 5/5 Ambience 5/5 Food taste 5/5 Portion size 3.5/5

Yelp
It was my buddy's birthday and she wanted to go back to this homey little eatery. The owner, Nathan, always gives us a welcoming greeting, as do his two adorable doggies, who were halfway between greeting us and returning to their cozy blanket. We were seated outside on the terrace where we ordered our food, which started with two hot café Viennas topped with fresh whipped cream, for two of us, and a very cold iced tea. My friends ordered the rolled omelette, one with meat and the other without. I had the most incredible, lighter-than-air lemon/lime soufflé pancakes, surrounded by berries and topped with fresh whipped cream. By the time everyone had a sample from my plate and I demolished it in 5 minutes I thought I had died and gone to heaven. It also felt like I hadn't eaten anything, so anyone who wants to cut down on heavy food, try these fluffy, weightless clouds of goodness.

Yelp
The Cream Pot is an absolute gem! From the moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed and taken care of, even by the owner, which added such a personal touch. The service was impeccable from start to finish. The ambiance is just adorable--cute, cozy, and filled with charming trinkets and decor that make the space feel so fancy yet inviting. It's the kind of place that makes you want to sit and enjoy every little detail. And the food? Amazing! Every bite was bursting with flavor, and the portions were generous enough to leave you happily full (and maybe even taking some home!). This spot is a must-visit, and I'm already looking forward to coming back. Highly recommend!

Yelp
I came for the original Soufflé Pancakes and they did not disappoint! Although many might think they are from Japan, Chef Nathan Tran from Cream Pot created these fluffy delights. Cream Pot is tucked away in a small shopping area of the Hawaiian Monarch Hotel. Once you enter the door, you're transported to a fairy tale tea house with plushy cushions on antique chairs, cherubs on the walls, charming chandeliers and an elf-sized door leading to the kitchen. Chef Tran and his cute pups greeted us right away and seated us. A server brought out water and a picture menu. I already knew what I wanted! Hubby wanted to try the mint lemonade. I saw the citrus spritzer next to it in the picture, so thought I'd try that. We both enjoyed those beverages, but I also got the Kona coffee, which was quite weak and disappointing. We ordered the Maguro Eggs Benedict and Mixed Berries Soufflé Pancakes to share. I was hoping the savory dish would come out first, but the pancakes did. We dug right in anyway and loved the lightness and creaminess. I would've liked a little more berries, though. I have never seen or heard of raw tuna served as eggs Benedict on crispy rice rather than muffins and it was pretty much sushi with poached eggs. Lol! The salad and all the ingredients were fresh and went well together. We were very pleased with our light and delicious breakfast, minus the coffee. The servers were incredibly attentive and friendly, checking on us frequently. Note that they automatically add gratuity when they deliver the bill, even for a part of two. Some folks might not appreciate that, but we were fine with the service and amount.

Yelp
The food was delicious! We enjoyed the French Toast with banana, and warm dark salted caramel for $26.50. It was kind of expensive for the location, but it was worth it because you get free Whiskey, and by Whiskey I'm referring to the restaurant's mascot! He was too cute (check out the pictures and give Whiskey a like)! The service was great, and overall a good experience!

Yelp
Cream Pot is located at the Hawaiian Monarch, and they are located on the 2nd floor, towards the rear; there is also an exit/entrance from the main street. This place seems to be a Thai-owned brunchery - both the exterior and the interior of the cafe is super cute and well-decorated, kind of like a mini secret garden in the area. After studying the menu, I knew I wanted to try their Maguro eggs benedict, which were little patties of rice, topped with ahi carpaccio, avocado, shiso, daikon sprouts, and poached eggs with an orange miso shoyu sauce. Not sure where the 'rice cakes' that were mentioned on the menu were, but it was probably referring to the rice? This was okay - the ahi, while generous in its slices, could have been more fresh. It was a little stringy and hard to cut. I wished there were more of the orange miso shoyu sauce, as that was tasty, and it did complement the dish well. The rice was improperly cooked, as it was mushy and didn't add much to the overall plate. I tried their freshly-squeezed Orange Strawberry Juice, which was really yummy; however, with the high price point, you would think you could get a large glass or a carafe with it! Staff were pretty friendly and welcoming, and the place seems like a good get-together for small groups. With the higher gouge-like prices, in addition to the automatic gratuity that is included in the check, not sure if this place is a repeat return. I'm glad I was able to check this place out, though! Don't forget to say hello their precious little pup - he was just snoozing away! +Orange Strawberry juice +friendly service +high price points

Yelp
The staff was so pleasant, the atmosphere/decor is adorable, plating/presentation was nice and food was good. The food wasn't super flavorful and portions were a bit small though. I think it was overpriced for what you received, but everything else made it a cute date spot.

Amy X.

Yelp
Nice cute space feeling you are among fairy ‍ , staffs is nice and service is good good place to go our with friends . Only negative is no photos for interior I guess

Michelle K.

Yelp
We got the ahi tuna special eggs benedict, the cream top iced coffee, and the japanese soufflé pancakes. I loved alllll of them! The pancakes were light and the cream on top added to the sweetness in a not too overwhelming manner. I wish the ahi tuna eggs benedict was larger given the price but it still hit the spot and, again, wasn't nauseating since I sometimes get that from regular eggs benedict. The coffee itself was also delicious and left me wanting more. The servers were very kind and quick, and there were several indoor and outdoor seating options! You also don't need to tip since it's included. There's also a cute shih tzu lying down at the entrance

Yelp
Ok. This restaurant should be a 5 star establishment! The best soufflé pancakes I had ever eaten! They were light and delicious! Slightly pricey but well worth the experience! This place is worth the visit when you travel to Oahu! Call a taxi, get an Uber or Lyft, or drive! There is a parking garage attached for EASY access! Tell the garage attendant that you are eating at Cream Pot and all you have to do is have your ticket validated by your server for FREE parking in Hawaii! WIN!!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT FOR THE SOUFFLÉ PANCAKES!!

Richard O.

Yelp
My wife and I visited this restaurant shortly after it opened we met the owner, Nathan at that time. Since then, whenever we visit Honolulu, my wife traditionally takes our our visitors and members of our Ohana (ladies/girls) for a ladies breakfast. Nathan and his wife always great greet my wife as an old friend. The food is excellent and it is a must stop for her on every trip.

Patrick H.

Yelp
Sweet God in heaven! You already know you need to go here, right? If you did NOT know that...you do now. Yep...it's a little pricey. Yep...you might have a little wait for a table. My advice....pay it. Wait. It's so worth it. Uber cute inside...it's the Japanese French restaurant I wish I had found in Tokyo when I visited there this year. Check the specials board and DON'T MISS THE SOUFFLÉ PANCAKES.

Tiffany R.

Yelp
Ambiance is adorable and nice The food is a hard pass, I don't know what all the fuss is about. Service is great but food takes forever. For two entrees, 2 coffees and a "soup" it was $150 The French onion soup: skip unless you like onion mesh and burnt cheese and bread. Last time I checked there was supposed to be broth in French onion soup. The chicken tyme crepe, sounded delightful.... It was tasteless, needed salt and pepper something. Cold. Interesting the way they designed the crepes here, everything goes on top and not inside the crepe. Again onion slug. My husband ordered the easy omelette, he's was fine but also very expensive. Would I come here again no. Would I tell people to come because of the ambiance and only get the sweets. Yes.

Diane F.

Yelp
Place has okay ambiance. However, food prices are expensive. For a scrambled egg it is already $27. We went here for coffee and paid $19.95 for 2 cups of coffee. I did not like the place so i asked for to go. And bruh, the cups was cheap cups you can get in convenience store. And it is not even closing. I even asked for a receipt but they said the machine was not working so he's just gonna write it. Avoid at all cost!

Maria S.

Yelp
What a wonderful local gem. I ordered the soufflé pancakes and they were the BEST breakfast I have ever eaten! Fluffy, light, delicious and topped with freshly made whipped cream. Oh my! The service and surrounding atmosphere were classy. I loved it so much, I went back a couple of days later

Vallainy L.

Yelp
I haven't been here in about 10 years, I used to come often, and stopped. I came back after missing and thinking about this place, and decided that for my birthday was the best time. The decor hasn't changed, in a good way! Still cute and very nice ambiance. Came at about 10:30/11, and was seated right away. The service was great, everyone was attentive and made sure we had all we need and more. We got the classic omelet, beef stew omelet and strawberry souffle pancake. The drinks was delicious as well. Will be frequenting this place more often again.

Yelp
I thought this cafe was charming and quite unexpected. Well, not that unexpected because back home, we watched a helpful YouTube video from the Two Gay Expats who raved about the place. It turned out to be a quick stroll from our hotel. I was surprised to find several lackluster reviews because Jamie W. and I both really liked it even though... The Hawaiian price tags caused a bit of sticker shock. Oh, what the hell, we were on vacation, so we were feeling less critical about this point. We were more seduced by the French country cottage vibe and the attentive service, especially from the attentive ponytailed manager who explained the menu, took our order, and checked up on us. We started with the $9 Kona Coffee with its hints of chocolate, which seemed appropriate considering where we were (photo: https://yelp.to/sjt8trddhn). Jamie ordered the $27.50 Classic French-Rolled Omelet, quite fluffy as the eggs were folded over maple-cured bacon, sautéed mushrooms, caramelized onions, potato, and gruyere cheese. It was accompanied by a mixed green salad and a scoop of white rice (photo: https://yelp.to/AUb32uN9rg). While it was the ideal savory breakfast, I went for the sweet side with the $29.50 Mixed Berries Soufflé Pancakes. They were even fluffier than the omelet and topped with a luxuriant mix of housemade vanilla custard and whipped cream. Surrounded by a circle of berries and drizzled by strawberry coulis, the pancakes were meltably satisfying (photo: https://yelp.to/kLCn1vSmas). FOOD - 5 stars...pricey yes, but the quality was exceptional AMBIANCE - 4.5 stars...felt more like France than Hawaii but it made for a nice change SERVICE - 5 stars...the manager was highly conscientious TOTAL - 5 stars...the Two Gay Expats were right RELATED - Exploring Hawaii? Yelp
This place is beautiful on the inside I wish I took some pictures. The wait staff were very kind and eager to help. They were very quick and my glass was never less than half full. The Benedict's we had were amazing! I have to be honest the soufflé pancakes were not exactly what I was expecting. I was expecting a fluffy sweet pancake. The pancake itself was very eggy and did not have as much sweetness as I was expecting. Possibly just not my cup of tea. I would definitely go here again for the other menu items, atmosphere and service!

Yelp
This was truly a beautiful and serene experience. When you first arrive, you will be greeted by a large team. All the service members look polished and are extremely polite. We are escorted to our table for two. It's a quaint space with an elongated community table in the middle of the room. They have their standard menu and daily specials on a chalkboard. We both ordered the Blueberry Lemon Soufflé Pancakes, we shared a side of bacon and 2 coffees. I had the Vietnamese Coffee and it was sweet and delicious. The servings are not large but we are both about 125 lbs. each and it was just enough for the two of us. The presentation on everything was delicate and beautiful. The bacon was crispy, just perfect. The soufflé pancakes were light and eggy and well balanced with their homemade whipped cream. The cost for this meal was about $108 as they automatically include a 20% tip into the bill. And because it was my friend's birthday, they served us a complimentary crepe with a candle and sang to her. I absolutely loved the experience.

Yelp
Alway a delight service was great. Seemed they were trained well as they answered questions with well informative responses. Presentation very professional. Great service. Not rushed. Used for planning group meeting. Love this place. Validated parking in hotel.

Yelp
Such a cute place in Waikiki to come for breakfast! You can park in the Hawaiian Monarch parking lot and you can get your ticket validated by the restaurant. I would highly recommend going early, as the place fills up very quickly. They have drinks, soufflé pancakes (they are famous for this), baked egg dishes, and eggs Benedict. Lots of variety with dishes. Just to be aware, the restaurant includes a 20% gratuity to your check, with a 3% service charge if you use a credit card.

Stephanie Y.

Yelp
Cream Pot is adorably fine? It's pricey and the coffee is terrible, but the food is good, especially if you're into the souffle style pancakes. It's also quirky and fun, like a British tea garden/house, which is definitely a changeup for Waikiki and sometimes a change up is good. But you're paying $25+ for eggs or said pancakes, which is steep. Again, they are well done and delicious, but that's pricey, especially dining in with tip and tax, etc.. Overall, a solid spot to try. One of my favorite locals loves this spot when visiting me in Waikiki, so we go!

kimberly S.

Yelp
Just the most special place I've been to in years. To the food, the ambiance and the amazing service, I give this place a 10 out of ten. I'm not sure I have ever given 5 stars but it sure is deserved in this case. The home of the "Original Soufflé Pancakes", savory crepes and omelets to die for! The manager today (forget her very pretty name) was incredibly helpful and accommodating. Please don't hesitate for a second, this restaurant is just the best!

Rebekah L.

Yelp
Yes the soufflé pancakes jiggled! We didn't have to wait long to be seated. We got a seat with a great view by the corner window spot. I ordered the special blackberry lemon soufflé pancakes either a side of hash-browns and my husband ordered the bacon French toast with French onion soup. Yes I would order this exact same three item over again. The food was fresh and delicious! The pancakes jiggled! They were fluffy and the lemon cream was refreshing. The pancake would just melt in your mouth. I asked for my hash browns to be extra crispy and they were cooked perfectly! Super delicious with a dollop of sour cream and chives. My husband absolutely devoured his dish and said it was everything he imagined it to be. We enjoyed our brunch to the fullest! Definitely would go back.

Maddie s.

Yelp
This is the most beautiful cafe I've ever been to. I'm vegetarian and I got to put together my omelette with onions, peppers, mushrooms, and cheese. It came with a side of white rice and a mixed green salad. Hesitantly, I tried a combo of all three in one bite. Absolutely delicious, I love the combination of textures and flavors. The service is also unbeatable. They have a sign out front saying "no photos" but upon further inquiry, staff was delighted to assist us. We got wonderful group photos inside and beautiful photos in front of their lovely plants outdoors. I couldn't have asked for a more spectacular visit. Highly recommend!

Lulu Y.

Yelp
What a cute little spot for breakfast! We went on Thanksgiving week around 9am and did not have to wait to be seated. The price is on the high end but the pancake soufflé was something we had never tried before. Very fluffy! Highly recommend you try it if you never had it before. The egg benedicts were good too. Overall, it was relaxing and pleasant experience. The staff and owner were very friendly too.

Yelp
Every time I drove past this place in Waikiki I've always wanted to go and try it. I was so excited when my husband surprised me with a brunch reservation; and that is my first tip: make a reservation! That walk-in line can get long, but I guess that's some of their best advertising. The outside of the Cream Pot is so unassuming with their little wooden arch and gate surrounded by all kinds of flora and fauna. You can't even see how big and how adorable the inside is until you make it past the stone pathway. The inside looks like their interior designer took a cottage-core Pinterest board and copied and pasted, absolutely whimsical from the entrance gate to the chairs. You could see some wear and tear on the building itself but nothing that could take away from the experience. There were so many Japanese tourists customers so it's no surprise that many of the servers spoke Japanese, this also explains their high standard of excellent service. Our server was cheerful and wonderful giving suggestions of the most popular dishes and what to get on the side. It felt like a different world, very different from the outside counterpart of bustling Waikiki and the Ala Wai. My husband and I got three dishes, most of them don't have names. The menu organized the dishes by type and then you just describe which one you want, because of this I forgot what I order and just have to go by the photo I took. Apparently, they're known for their soufflé pancakes but since my husband and I can get them anywhere else on the island we didn't get it so that we could try something that's not so common. I do have to say, I would highly recommend eggs benedict with Maguro. I love me a good eggs Benedict, but never had a Japanese one before. I would also suggest their baked eggs as a side to share with everyone! Although the Cream Pot is casual I highly recommend for any couples to stop by to have a cute, intimate, romantic brunch that you'll want to dress up for. Or a great place to bring all your girl besties for afternoon tea. To me, this is a literal hidden gem in Hawaii that is worth your afternoon.

Sherrie K.

Yelp
Hawaiian Monarch Ground Floor Waikiki, Hawaii There's usually a line of people waiting to get in.....and pleased to say that they are the model of efficiency now. The line moves quickly and there are multiple people to help. The ambiance is cute-French cottage inspired in Waikiki. The soufflé pancakes here are the best in town- very light, not too sweet with a firm texture that breathes yummy. Multiple toppings to choose from- lemon curd, blueberries, sweet s'mores style.....The omelettes too are fluffy and light with delicious fillings. But be prepared--two breakfast entrees and two regular coffees will set you back about $90 with tax and tip. Ouch! Park upstairs and get validated.

Patinka ..

Yelp
What a cute and stylish place! The food was delicious and different from what I have seen in Hawaii so far. The staff was lovely and made my birthday special! Definitely a gem in Honolulu

Kailani P.

Yelp
What a fantastic restaurant! Easy to find, parking in the building they validate. We loved the atmosphere, very mystical and cute. The staff is attentive and kind. We got an Iced Latte $9 & Café Vienna $10 both were delicious! We got the Strawberry Soufflé pancakes $16.50, Creamy Scrambled Eggs (triple-Cream Brie,Grey Goose (Vodka)-Cured Salmon,Toast And Salad) $20, and the Premium Hawaiian Benedict (Applewood Smoked Thick-Cut Bacon, French Baguettes, Fresh Pineapple, Avocado, Poached Eggs, Mornay Sauce) $22.50. If you live on Oahu, these prices are pretty standard, especially in Waikiki. The quality of the food, ambiance plus the service is worth the price!

Natalie G.

Yelp
Food was delicious. Had the French toast with a Carmel sauce. Four large pieces of bread surrounded with strawberries and a doll up of whip cream. The eatery is cute and quaint, beautiful palm trees and the Ala Wai canal can be viewed from most seats. Excellent service and everyone seemed happy to have us as guest. Prices are high, not your average price for French toast.

Graci Belle G.

Yelp
Food was mediocre. Ordered soufflé pancakes that were literally bland. Tasted like nothing but the toppings which there were very little of. Service was shit considering the 20% service fee included on the check. If you're going to add a 20% service fee at least work for it. For 3 people it was $121. 2 orders of soufflé pancakes and an omelette. Save your money and go elsewhere. They are robbing you. First ever yelp review but it literally had to be done because of how absurd this place is

Ryne T.

Yelp
We haven't tried this place in awhile. The atmosphere is the same, cute and simple but with more workers so the service is much faster. The food is made to order so it will take a little time but you will not be disappointed! Very friendly staff, the owner also works here and over looks their operation. My wife had their Maguro Eggs Benedict. She said it's all about the sauce, she enjoyed it. I had the Beef Stew Omelette which was great. I wish it came with rice on the side. Lots of parking in the hotel parking and I do believe they validate.

Sammy W.

Yelp
I enjoyed my time here but it is crazy expensive, so please be aware of that before coming here! I thought it had a very cute cottage-y vibe, but some things did seem a bit creepy. The staff was very kind and helpful while placing orders and making sure we enjoyed everything. Some food came out later than others which was awkward but fine for us. I enjoyed my strawberry shake but something about the banana-caramel soufflé pancakes tasted off to me; it could have been the caramel and banana mix just wasn't for me. My mom and aunt really enjoyed the pancakes and appreciated how fluffy they were, but my friend and I thought they were fine. It was definitely one of the most expensive meals I've ever partaken in and it was breakfast which is typically the cheapest meal of the day. Our seafood dinners later that night ended up being cheaper than our bill here, so I probably wouldn't come back solely because of how expensive it is.

Laura G.

Yelp
If you wanna get ripped off, you should definitely eat here. This place not only makes you feel watches 24/7 since they have a no Photo policy ... but you feel rushed to eat .... But mainly above it all ! THE PRICES ARE ABSURD! $30 dishes. For only a few bites and they place a salad on the side to make the plate look fulled !?! What the ?! I work hard for my money and I felt like in 20 mins it all went away in this place . The sad part is , it was not enough food to even say I left satisfied.

Rachel H.

Yelp
I've never had pancakes as fluffy as this in my life! Typically I cannot eat three pancakes, but I did here. What's better than the fluffy pancakes? THE FRENCH TOAST! This place is a definite stop if you're in the area!!

Yelp
At first glance, Cream Pot seems like a cozy, warm, and hospitable restaurant for breakfast/brunch. Unfortunately, this is a facade based on my personal experience today. Initially, the aesthetically pleasing environment lured me into this establishment, however, the service we received was immensely disappointing and deterred me from returning. It was good for the first few minutes. We were greeted with a warm smile and seated with no problem. Then, we ordered our food. After this, the problems began. Like what other reviews state, the wait time for your food is painstakingly long. Our party waited about an hour for 2 plates to arrive at the table. Not only the food took a long time, we also had to ASK FOR UTENSILS. We realized we had none when our food was served to us. Everyone else had theirs already set on the table. Albeit, the food was approximately $30 with the cheapest being $15, but the souffle pancakes I ordered had great presentation and the taste was immaculate. On the contrary, My two friends ordered an omelet, and about 20-30 minutes into our time, we were informed that they were "backed up" and had to replace their order. It would've been great if we had been notified earlier. By the time the final person got their meal, half of us were already done eating. We noticed the family that was seated AFTER US receive their food first. The workers neglected our table, ignoring us whenever we asked for service. Our table had empty glasses of water while the party behind us had refills offered to them. We believed this couldn't get any worse; until we had to pay the check. She read our totals aloud and our mouths were left agape. Even with simple mental math, you could tell that the calculations didn't correlate. We asked for a breakdown of our check which we scanned thoroughly, yet couldn't determine where the extra charge came from. Eventually, we learned from these reviews that it was a 20% SERVICE FEE that wasn't stated anywhere within the restaurant. If you want to empty your wallets on poor service, Cream Pot is definitely for you. Many other restaurants in the area are cheaper and have better service. Do not fall for this tourist trap.

Ro Ann V.

Yelp
I tried to love this place, but it's just not worth the price to be honest. The ambiance in cream pot is so lovely! It is a themed restaurant and the decor resembles folklore/cottage core. The setup inside is incredibly unique and they have the cutest mascot inside as well, which are the owners dogs (they are adorable!). The service itself was great, our servers were very kind and attentive. They ensured we were having a great time and were very accommodating. Unfortunately, I have to give this place 3 stars due to the lackluster in their food and the pricing of their food. I get it, we live in Hawai'i -- the cost of living is extremely high. However, if I am going to spend around $30-$35 on a dish, I am expecting it to be one of the best dishes of my trip. Unfortunately, it wasn't that. The food was a bit bland and lacked flavor. I got the Salmon eggs Benedict along with the fluffy pancakes. Both were decent, but I would not come back to this place for the food. It wasn't worth it to me. Overall, my experience in Cream Pot led me to write a review of 3 stars due to the missed opportunity in their food and pricing. The ambiance and service were lovely, but the food itself lacked in its category. PS, if you have a party of 6 or more, their gratuity charge is 22%. Also, you are unable to take pictures outside/inside of the restaurant. If you'd like to take pics, your server will be the person to go to.

Yelp
The place was very cozy, very warm welcoming and overall just nice. The workers were just as amazing but there were definitely certain things that were just absurd. I was with my friends and I'm not sure if it was because of our age but we were ignored for quite a bit of our experience after they got our orders. The wait for the food was NOT IT. We waited a whole hour for food, although we agreed the food was amazing, it was not worth it. A good problem that occurred to us after they served our food was that they didn't give us utensils and we had to ask for them, meanwhile all the other tables had theirs despite being their before or after us. Another thing that happened was that there was a random service fee added to our bill, with NO SIGN anywhere. We wouldn't have been upset with our total (which was $129) if there was a sign stating there would be an additional fee added to the bill that was not the valet ticket. Overall, the restaurant is pretty good(?). I personally wouldn't go back just based on my experience here today, please note that it was also me and some other of my friends first time there and their first impression for us was not the greatest. :(

Yelp
I was very disappointed with the service and the quality of the food at this place. Their prices are very steep and did not feel like the quality of the dishes and the service justify the cost of each dish. I wouldn't recommend unles you want to ruin your breakfast, best go to dennys.

Yelp
Cream Pot for Brunch is amazing! We thoroughly enjoyed our Brunch at Cream pot. Great food and very attentive service. We ordered Berry banana soufflés: so amazingly light and fluffy. The soufflés were so delicate and delicious. We also ordered the Maguro eggs Benedict. This is my new favorite! A crispy seared rice cake topped with perfectly poached egg, layered avocado and topped with a perfect sushi level ahi. A delicate mustard sauce and a fresh green salad with a delightful dressing. My Vienna espresso was perfect and chef comped us shot sized dark mocha. A wonderful ending to a delicious brunch. The ambiance is so cozy. French cottagestyle Nathan, the owner is dedicated to making every dish delicious and fresh! We love this restaurant and have been coming for years. We will be back!

Yelp
Great service and wonderful staff on the corner of Ala Wai Blvd X Nui St at the 44 floor Waikiki/Honolulu Monarch Condo. Owners are there everyday supporting staff, greeting customers and checking in deliveries. Simple, but great menu. Kitchen is located above on first floor but they are quick and efficient. Crepes, soufflé pancakes, Benedict's and omelets round out the menu. There are a few specials week to week. Instead of heavy Hollandaise butter sauce they use a lighter Mornay Cheese Sauce. (It's also easier to prep and more economical.) It's what you would expect to pay for a room service order but it's in a light filled French inspired garden setting. Great option for a brunch splurge in Waikiki. Line up outside in the garden. Closed Tues/Weds. FCFS from 8-2. Busy on weekends.

Yelp
This spot is closed on Tues/Wed. But they're known for their soufflé pancakes which are a FLIPPIN $25 plate of 3 pancakes. It's a small restaurant with a cute set up but I'm not sure if it's because I always choose waffles over pancakes but these pancakes were mid. They're good if you've never tried them, crispy layer on the outside and fluffy, airy on the inside but I wish they were a bit more dry on the inside. The cured beef was good and the wasabi sauce was amazing but for $18, it's a bit steep. I know we're in waikiki so all food is pricey but this was a lot! I would try another place if you're looking for soufflé pancakes. The staff seemed really impatient and special. They greeted others warmly and offered them a run down of the menu while I was sat down and not even given water until I asked.

Yelp
This place is for those who seek for a cute atmosphere and willing to pay too much. Food is mediocre at best, honestly the only good thing going for them is just being cute. Sometimes there is a line at the door..... just don't.

Yelp
I came here with a friend who was visiting Oahu and staying in Waikiki. All the food is pretty pricey for breakfast even for Waikiki, but the restaurant has a cute cottage look, so you're paying a premium for the aesthetics. Our food was good, service was fast, and the employees were very kind. We went around 9am and didn't have a wait, but it gets very busy closer to 10 so I recommend going early. While I enjoyed the experience overall, there are better breakfast places on the island with cheaper prices. While none of us tried the soufflé pancakes that they're known for, I know that the Gomatei kahala location has soufflé pancakes. Gomatei also has a bigger serving for a cheaper price, so if you're looking for this type of food I recommend going there instead.

Yelp
The food was so good. I got an omelette and it was phenomenal. Not pictured but I split strawberry pancakes with a friend. Came with come some friends for brunch. The staff is so nice and kind. They didn't seem bothered that part of our group was late. This place is a hidden gem. Such a cute rustic fairy tale vibe.

Yelp
This is a very popular spot on Ohahu, and I can see why. It is a quaint, rustic atmosphere that serves great food. There was no wait for a table, but the spot was pretty full. They have outdoor and indoor seating available. Wanting to sample a variety of items, I ordered a la carte. I wish the shrimp was available as a side item, but it wasn't, so I opted for the bacon, which was crispy and full of flavor. It started to rain pretty heavily as we were finishing our meal but they didn't rush anyone out and allowed everyone to stay at their table until the rain had subsided. Highly recommended if you are in the area.

Yelp
Perfection in every way! My go to is the Ahi Benedict. Ahi Tuna, avocado, poached egg served on top of a fresh fried rice cake. Cafe Vienna is also my ALL-TIME favorite expresso drink. Served with a topping of fresh homemade sweet cream. Also the mixed berry soufflé pancakes are AMAZING.

Yelp
{Overall: 3.5; Food: 3.5} Ambiance: 3.5; Service: 3.5 I came here because we wanted to eat Japanese fluffy pancakes and this was the only place near Waikiki where we could find them. Located in the Monarch Hotel, the restaurant is small and quaint and has an outdoor terrace with a few tables. I had the fluffy pancakes with mixed berries. They were good because they were specifically what I was looking to eat, but I wouldn't make this a destination.
