Philly’s Best Pancakes and Waffles | Eater Philly

"Creme Brulee is a bistro and cafe in South Philadelphia that boasts a menu of bountiful plates. A fan-favorite here is the Waffles Rancheros, featuring a waffle topped with sunny-side-up eggs, black beans, pico de gallo, and Monterey Jack cheese." - George Banks-Weston

Crème Brulee Review - South Philly - Philadelphia - The Infatuation

"Known for their eclairs, croissants, and tarts, this neighborhood patisserie has plenty of brunch options like some of the best french toast in the city that’s topped with berry coulis and fresh berries. Enjoy it all on their picnic table-filled sidewalk patio, and for some post-brunch sweetness, don’t forget to grab a giant macaron on the way out." - Candis R. McLean

On a Sunday afternoon, my family and I visited a charming little cafe that was conveniently situated. We indulged in several scrumptious pastries and savored a well-prepared latte. As the cafe was sparsely occupied, we were able to easily find seating. I would definitely suggest this cafe to others.

No longer temp closed! I've been wanting to try this place. A good mix of pastries, cafe, and great food. I had the eggs over easy, good artisan bread toast, bacon perfect thickness, and the greens were dabbed with I believe a pesto or green savory spice dressing. Cafe au Lait, and a pineapple Jarritos. Perfect mix. I want to try their burritos but they were out today.

Counter service bakery with made to order food. Sandwiches and brunch items. The area was very busy for the Halloween street event. Food was made quickly still and was good. The potatoes were perfectly seasoned. Frittata and other egg items were all the exact same ingredients, other than changing what cheese was included, so it was a bit repetitive of a menu. Not really different options that way. Same deal with sweets: pancakes, French toast, etc all had the same toppings. Cronut was very good, would love to come back and try other bakery items.

The pastries are really good here and everything is fresh. As someone who doesn't like overly sweet pastries this place is perfect! I usually get take out but there are some dine in options. I usually get the goat cheese artichoke danish and the chocolate almond croissant.

My second time here and it didn't disappoint. The breakfast egg sandwich is delicious, as is the smoked salmon, tomato, red onion, and capers on an everything bagel. The couple who runs the cafe are great - so friendly and attentive. The pastries are also on point.

Since I last reviewed, the business owner has stopped parking in the No Parking Zone and in the crosswalk. Creme Brulee also added some beautiful outdoor seating options! Love the changes. Thanks for being a good neighbor!

We purchased a fruit tart and it had a raspberry with mold on the bottom. I called to alert them and they did not seem distraught or surprised nor did they apologize. Hate to post this but it was very concerning to say the least.

Yelp
So glad to see this place is open again! Staff here are so kind. Wonderful spot to get breakfast and pastries. I like their omelet and frittata with a side salad and toast. The dill mustard salad dressing is fantastic. Sometimes they do cronuts with chocolate or vanilla mousse which are absolutely divine. I also love the raspberry croissants. There's indoor and outdoor seating so I love to bring my dog with me.

Yelp
Great spot in East Passyunk! Lots of fun things in the area if you are looking for a place to stop in before you go shopping or just walking around. Small seating area but we were lucky to grab a table for 4 as soon as we walked in. Staff was friendly and the food was great! I got the mozzarella sandwich along with a iced chai latte and the everything baguette was perfect.

Yelp
My friends wanted to check this place out and I was pleasantly surprised. Modestly decorated and diner style food. Service was pleasant.
