I and three friends visited Crepes&Cones on Sunday 20th November unintentionally. My friends and I had planned to dine elsewhere, which was fully booked. Crepes&Cones was on our list of places to dine at in the near future, it was relatively close to the fully booked restaurant we didn’t wait for, so took a chance going to Crepes&Cones. Despite a couple of reviews saying service was slow and waiting time very long we gave it ago and so glad we did. Service was excellent and waiting time was minimal to be fair it wasn't busy, a large group came after us and a few more people later on. We had an amazing meal with generous portions. We started off with the red velvet prawns, absolutely delicious in addition to the roulette of wings, tasty. Main course didn’t disappoint, once again generous potion and delectable. Service was excellent. We were served by a young lady named Olivia, she deserves 5 stars for being attentive and hardworking, she made us feel welcome, Olivia made sure we were ok. Definitely would recommend and hope to visit again.

I'm late to the party!!!!! only just found this place and it's on my doorstep!! I've now been 3 times in a matter of weeks and have enjoyed every visit.... well, honestly, I've enjoyed the food so much....my go to..... is loaded fries, MAC&CHEESE....OMG Wicked! and the Prawns with Mango, they just melt in my mouth. and to top it all.......Portions sizes are great value for money. Service can be a tab slow, but I've been to The IVY, and it was slow too.!!!

Summary: We wouldn’t go back at all and sadly, would not recommend. Food ordered: Starters: Chicken Popcorn (2/5) Nice but tasted like KFC Salt & Pepper Squid (4/5) It looked like sweet and sour chicken but it was tasty. French Fries (1/5) Tasted like chips with freezer burn Mains: The Buff Burger (3/5) A nice basic burger, reminded me of a burger from a van. Grilled King Prawn Skewers: (0/5) Awful, so underwhelming given the title. They definitely did not use King Prawns and it definitely was not restaurant quality in terms of presentation or flavour - even for a diner. This was quite bland and supposedly took over an hour to prepare. They need to go to Billingsgate & invest in some actual King Prawns. Sides: (These actually came with our Starters & we waited so long for Mains that we’d finished by then) Return of the Mac (5/5) The Man N Cheese was really tasty, and a nice portion size too. Plantain: (5/5) Good portion size, nice and juicy. French Fries: (1/5) Still tasted like chips with freezer burn. Drinks: Pushing Pina (5/5) Orange Juice Pros: we were running late, when I called to move the booking it was done without an issue. The lady on the phone even explained that they had a booking of 45 people and the kitchen was very busy so moving our booking later would work out well because the kitchen would be less busy by the time we arrived. - The starters and sides came out quickly with out drinks - The salt and pepper squid was the nicest starter we tried, it looked like sweet and sour chicken but it was tasty. - The Manager was polite, efficient and had really good customer service skills. - We’d cancelled the order due to the wait time but the manager reinstated it and gave us complimentary take away boxes. Cons: - We had a booking but the waitress that greeted us looked confused as to what to do or where to seat us. - The place lacked ambience and the music playing was notably terrible. - Even after moving our booking to a time that worked better around the booking of 45 people, the mains took over an hour to arrive. We saw four people that walked in after us get 4 burgers whilst we waited an hour for just one. - we had to get back by a certain time so we cancelled the order due to the wait time and discrepancies on how long it would take from different waitresses. - Other than the manager, the staff we saw seemed miserable. Maybe a team visit to another restaurant could give them an insight into the customer service they should aim to deliver and also raise morale.

It was a quite a quiet night, food was good. Really enjoyed the chicken & waffle. Wasn’t too pleased with the brownie dessert because it was quite rough on the edges which scrapes my pallet and it was a bit dry. But overall it’s a nice chill spot. The Passion fruit Mojito was really nice.

I know that this is not a Michelin starred restaurant, but my oh my, I would also think you can expect some sort of standard... Maybe we had our expectations too high🤣. But this is something else. You see the menu was not that big so you would expect the chef to be able to take time and create something he or she is proud of and know taste amazing right ? Wrong ... I'm not sure if they just focus on the presentation rather than how the food is cooked. So let's get on to what we ordered 🙈 We ordered two portions of plantain, x5 Mac and cheeses + one banna boat for starters. The the main we ordered three Buff burgers, a set of ribs, one chicken burger and a chicken and waffle for main. We didn't dare order desert🤣 So the two plantains we ordered they were somehow both different one was fried normally but burn and the other one was dipped in something and then fried , when we asked staff as to why we had two different types of planting and we both ordered the same we was told that is how it comes. I don't know how if it's the same dish just ordered twice . The mac and cheese with average nothing to write home about 3 out of the 5 of Us could taste cinnamon and they did not like the taste although I couldn't taste any cinnamon. The banana boat was just a bed of lettuce with mushroom in jerk paste with plantain dipped in something before being fried. The prawns are amazing ! Slightly over cooked but that was ok because the flavours were out of this world ( the chef should be proud of themselves) So onto the main: The buff burger was very dry , overcooked and burnt in some places but the salad was very fresh in the burger so I suppose that's a plus to the fail of the burger . The ribs: I was expecting a rack of ribs but got this slab of meat which was mainly fat , that just tasted awful. I took one bite and I didn't eat anymore and I sent it back to the kitchen. On to the chicken and waffle although I did not try this dish I was told it was nice so one dish out of 6 is not bad . Only 1 dish out of the 6 main dishes served was eating. The ribs were sent back with one bite eaten and all the burgers were sent back with more than half the burgers on the plate yet that did not cause concern for the chef or the staff or the manager to come over and find out why no one had finished their food and everyone minus one person had sent back majority of their food ☹ On to the service: The service is awfully slow and the staff seem to not be with it. Savannah was the only staff who seem to be very attentive to all customers and really tried her best. Savannah has a very positive attitude and is very good with customers, you can sense Savannah gets real job satisfaction from her job. She truly deserves a pay rise working there amongst her other colleagues as you can clearly see the other staff will Slack at doing their job if they can get away with it. But I'm not surprised if a manager like theirs. If it wasn't for Savannah making art experience as pleasant as she could do I wouldn't have paid a penny. And I've put my receipt up so you can see exactly who I am and the time and date I visited your restaurant. From the off the manger was very rude and  he didn't make anyone feel very comfortable or welcome from the beginning. I had a booking booked and was running late which I phoned up Prior to explain my reasons for being late as I was traveling from out of London and the traffic was really bad I didn't want the restaurant waiting for us at a time we wasn't going to arrive at. My first phone call to the restaurant the manger claims he can't hear what I said and put down the phone and then on the second phone call it was resolved yet the manager still had an attitude because we was going to be late. On arrival the staff seemed very friendly I told them I was outside parking the car which the staff had no problem with , when I came back into the restaurant the manager was acting like we couldn't have a table we booked and then went on to say that he will kick us out after an hour as it's only a 2 hour time slot to eat as we are la

Great Place! We where visiting and some one told us about this Place. We did not have reservations. We did not have to wait long for a table. Food was great and Staff very friendly. Thank you to the Manager ( Andrew). He was sweet and gave us some tips about other things to do while traveling. We really enjoyed there desserts. One is mine... waffles with chocolate & vanilla ice cream, shaved chocolate, and strawberries. The other one is my Husband's ... Banoffee waffles... waffles, banana, toffee/caramel sauce, vanilla ice cream.

Oct 2019 visit Took my nephews for their birthdays, overall good food and they were gassed to be there because it’s created by young black man from the endz but unfortunately the service let it down massively hence the 3 stars. Pros -food was good, tasteful and nephews loved it Prawns, Waffle and chicken👌🏿 -vibe was nice -toilets are clean Cons -we booked a table and but when we arrived we were just directed to any table -bartender lady at the bar did not greet us and was rude -arrived at 14:30, not busy at all but we still had to wait long for food. -forgot our drinks, had to keep asking and they came 10 minutes after meal arrived🤦🏿‍♂️ -Asked for water for our table at the start and finally got it after during dessert -plantain was rubbish -apple crumble dry - was really looking forward to this -table dirty, no cutlery

Fantastic food and Fantastic service, Ashley our waiteress was very lovely and attentive despite being busy with other tables. Very well mannered and presentable. My friends and I ordered a variety off the menu as well as cocktails and left impressed!
