I'm no crepe expert, but I can safely confirm what everyone else has said: this place rules.
First time I ever really tried crepes was in France, on Fat Tuesday, as hungry as I've ever been. Sounds lovely, right? Except for the fact that the only fillings available were butter and sugar. Combine that with a ferocious hunger, I put down about 14 of those bad boys and (barely) lived to tell the tale. Felt so wretched afterward that I thought, "I'm not sure I really like crepes."
Crepes Paulette was a very different, more pleasant experience. It's a smaller joint, with a small parking lot to match. It was particularly packed on a cold Friday at lunch hour, but we wanted to try it either way.
I had the la Classic: Black Forest ham, Tillamook sharp cheddar, and egg and ordered the large size. I also threw in a smaller dessert one, Banana + Nutella. Both were phenomenal, and I felt great after putting both of them down. The savory one was loaded with cheese yet still held together well. The Nutella one was perfectly NOT overloaded, as that would be too messy and too sweet, IMO.
Even my picky four year old chowed down. Oh and the French owner swung by the table and was friendly as he hustled and bustled through the lunch hour.
Really liked this spot, and would not only recommend it, I'll save it in my bookmarks for my next trip to NW Arkansas.
