"Don’t mind the red rose wall at the entrance of Crescent City Kitchen in Midtown. Pose. Then keep it moving with your big group when you're in the mood for an easy-going brunch with a few great options. The fried chicken wings are the star of the show here—served crispy, hot, and perfectly seasoned. Get them as an appetizer, or pair them with the fluffy croffle (croissant dough pressed in a waffle iron, which is then sugared up with Fruity Pebbles and whipped cream). And don’t leave without trying the moist deep-fried biscuits, topped with rich cream cheese and served on a bed of drizzled cinnamon honey butter. The under-seasoned breakfast skillet and the hot honey sandwich with bland chicken are both OK but skippable." - Jacinta Howard

As part of my birthday weekend, my sons took me here, and boy, was it a delight! The quality of the food, atmosphere, and service was superb! Our server, Queen was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. Generally, the restaurant has an urban "upscale" vibe. The background music is just right and not overwhelming. Overall, Crescent City Kitchen is a hidden gem and is definitely now in my ATL brunch "go-to" rotation. On another note, the owners/investors are visible and attentive to patrons. During my visit, I observed them checking on tables and making sure all was well, which was great to see!

Did not have the food because I was just passing through. However, the folks were great. Everyone very nice, lively, and upbeat. We got Tequila shots and was on our way. I did see a plate of fried lobster 🦞 come out, and it looked dam good. I'm here for it. When I come back to the A, we in that joint!!!

Crescent City was the perfect spot for our girls’ weekend getaway. As more mature women, we weren’t looking for a DJ or hookah scene—just great food and a relaxed vibe—and this restaurant delivered. The atmosphere was lively yet refined, and the staff was friendly, efficient, and worked seamlessly together. It’s easy to see why there’s always a wait to get in. The food was absolutely immaculate! Our waitress, Queen, was amazing—attentive, warm, and on point the entire evening. A special shoutout to the owner, Ms. Crystal, who was incredibly sweet and welcoming. Her personal touch and genuine hospitality made us feel truly appreciated. Side note: I got the Nola Stax and a Mockingbird with Bourbon! Simply Amazing! 10’s!!! 10’s across the board!!!!

Imagine biting into the juiciest yet crisp chicken beside a decadent strawberry croffle as you receive 11/10 service and drinks from their bartender as Fantasy by Mariah Carey is bumping in the background - that’s what you’re going to experience when you dine here! Food was delicious, vegetarian friendly, cocktails were so so good, music was a hit and the vibe was so high even on a Tuesday morning. Went as a walk in party of two (sat at the bar) and didn’t have a wait, but reservations are available. I’d recommend one if you’re a larger party or just in case you 100% don’t want to wait! As I said, it was a Tuesday and we watched them fill up slowly but surely. Adding Crescent to our Atlanta favorites and we will be back!

The most amazing thing experience I’ve ever had at a black owned restaurant. Our server/bartender Jari was great fell start to finish .. she provided us amazing suggestions of food and drinks and everything was great! The atmosphere was light and friendly and they sung a warm/sweet birthday song to everyone who was celebrating their birthday .. I will definitely be back as it was an experience like no other.

Google
Review for Crescent City Kitchen 🍳🎶 Crescent City Kitchen is a solid brunch spot in Atlanta with good food, good service, and a laid-back vibe. The menu offers flavorful options that hit the spot nothing over-the-top, just consistently good. We chose to sit on the patio, which was a nice escape from the indoor DJ set. The music inside was a bit too loud for my taste, but it definitely added to the energetic vibe that some people will love. Overall, a great place to enjoy a weekend brunch, especially if you like a fun, upbeat atmosphere with the option to keep things a little more chill outside.

Google
Amazing restaurant!!! Food was amazing, service was the best, our server Mimi was everything. She gave us the nicest and most personable service ever. We WILL be Mimi’s regular, and the kitchen threw down. Will definitely be back and recommend this place to everyone, great weekend spot.

I was visiting from Rancho Cucamonga, CA with my mom and had the absolute pleasure of being helped by Aaliyah, and let me just say, she was amazing! From the moment we walked in, she greeted us with warmth, professionalism, and genuine kindness. Aaliyah went above and beyond to make sure we felt welcomed and taken care of. Her attention to detail, friendly attitude, and knowledge made the entire experience smooth and enjoyable. People like her make all the difference thank you, Aaliyah! I’ll definitely be back and will be recommending her to friends and family.

Yelp
Absolutely worth the walk, both ways, for Sunday mornin' vibes & eats. I wasn't super hungry so probably ordered one of the simpler things on the menu - Garden Omellette. But I chatted up a couple who were regulars and they were all in on their Chicken & Croffles and Ribeye & Eggs. It was busy from the moment I arrived at 11ish, but advise making a reservation. I opted for a bar seat, which luckily was available. Vibe was typical brunch energy w/ R&B/Hip Hop playing (not too loud) and sports on the TV's (no sound or closed caption :-(. Mac? at the bar was funny & 100% on his hustle... greeted everyone w/ what felt like genuine born & raised ATL swag. He served up more versions of "blessed & highly favored" when asked how he was; or "i got you!!" to food orders & request than a church fish fry. When a simple dish is done really well it delights and reminds me of subpar versions. The Garden Omellette was overflowing w/ fresh vegetables and at least 3 eggs thicc. Nothing better than having to many choices everytime you load up your fork. My only knocks were the coffee - hot but forgettable and the rug situation near the bar - it catches on the bottom of the chairs - customer or server fall waiting to happen. #Brunch

Yelp
If you're looking for a 10/10 brunch experience you have to check out @crescentcityatl omg !!!! When I tell you, the New Orleans flavors are BURSTINGGG here, so gooood! You have to try everything The drinks are delicious. The food is amazing! Try the soul egg rolls, the Cajun jambalaya pasta, and of course the chicken & croffles!! service is also so good for them to be pretty busy. Reservations are a Must !! Check them out !!

Yelp
This spot was really good! Has a great brunch menu for those that can brunch food any time of the day. The service was fast and the person serving us was very nice. The place has decent space and could comfortably seat our party of 7. The plate sizes are really big so it you order the chicken and croffles be ready to be full. What makes this place even better is they validate parking in the parking deck right next to them. So this place has a lot of pluses. Good food, good service, free-ish parking in downtown Atlanta. The only problem is a lot of the items are over priced. It's good food but just should cost as much as it is.

Chelsea M.

Yelp
Visited on a Saturday afternoon. It was decently busy but not overcrowded. The restaurant is on the smaller size but the space is efficiently utilized. My server was very nice and attentive and gave recommendations. I ended up trying the lemon blueberry croffle with a side of eggs and chicken sausage. The chicken sausage is very tough and hard to even cut through. I asked for a replacement but still did not enjoy it. The scrambled eggs were delicious which paired well with the super sweet croffle. The croffle is very heavy and definitely not something to eat over and over again but it was tasty. I will say I didn't taste any lemon but the blueberry flavor was nice. I think if I were to get this again I would ask for the toppings on the side because it added to the heaviness of the dish. Overall I would visit again and try some other menu items.

Yelp
Found out about this GEM from a TikTok. I'm usually pretty skeptical of Atlanta brunch spots so I wasn't expecting much. OMG was a wrong! This place was DELICIOUS!! Like bite your fingers good!! Let's start with the most important part - PARKING!! No issues whatsoever. They are directly next to a parking garage. Although they validate for up to two hours, I got to park free bc the gate was just open! (SCORE!!) Next - customer service 10/10! Kaitlyn was on point! She had great suggestions, she was attentive, and very knowledgeable about the menu. Now for the highlight of the night - the food! OMG!! I don't know what I enjoyed more! It was ALL GREAT! Craffle flight is a must! We got peach, strawberry, and cookie butter! Seafood dip skillet... DELISH! Perfect combination of flavors. It was so good I almost forgot to snap a pic. Soul roll and voodoo roll .... Drooling just thinking about them. Again, almost forgot about the pic! Drinks! The crescent city punch was good. It wasn't TOO strong (darn sure wasn't weak), a good mix of sweet, and alcohol Shots flight - enough for 1 or 6 people! You will definitely find me here again sitting in Kaitlyn's section.

Yelp
What a delightful restaurant! The food, ambience, service, and drinks were all very good. The chicken and croffles were excellent, the crab cakes were excellent, the fried rice was ok, grits were excellent, and the stuffed French toast was wonderful! The bartender made a great old fashion, but the Cresent city punch was too sweet. The waitress made it right though by adding a tad bit more liquor, which made it just right! Five stars for excellent customer service and great food. Food and drinks are pricey, and it does feel a bit cramped because the establishment is pretty small. Otherwise, a very nice place to have brunch with a variety of dishes to choose from. Everything on the menu and the food served to other tables looked amazing!

Yelp
I have dined at Crescent City Kitchen twice. My friend invited me here to celebrate my birthday and then we went for happy hour/dinner for a friend's going away meet up. Parking for the restaurant is available in the adjacent deck and they validate for up to two hours as well as street parking via ParkMobile. On both occasions, the service was great; however, I had two different experiences in terms of the taste of the food. The first time I went, the food was good. I really enjoyed the Voodoo rolls and the Cajun seafood jambalaya pasta that my friend allowed me to taste. So the second time I went, I decided to order the Cajun seafood jambalaya past as my entrée. Three of us opted for this dish. Let me begin by saying I love spicy food and I also had tasted a bite of this dish on the previous occasion so I thought I knew what to expect. This time the pasta dish was so spicy and over seasoned that it was almost inedible and no longer flavorful. It tasted nothing like what I experienced before. Needless to say none of us enjoyed it. We didn't complain and send it back. We figured we could doctor it up at home by adding heavy whipping cream and cheese. It didn't help. If you're ordering this dish, I suggest stating that you do not want it extremely spicy so that you can potentially enjoy the dish. To temper this review, one of the guest in our group really enjoyed the Chicken & Croffle. Overall, there is a variety of options to select from so give it a try for yourself. Also you check out at the table via Toast so your credit card never leaves the table which I prefer.

Yelp
Let's just say we didn't take any before pics and my girlfriend took her family back the very next day. That's how good it was. Food delicious service delightful! Go support and give yourself an amazing treat.

Yelp
A fun and funky New Southern American style restaurant. Upscale New Orleans inspired eatery in busy downtown Atlanta. The food was glorious and came out hot and fast; but not too fast. I ate at the bar and the server was friendly and chatty. He was working for the 18% gratuity automatically added to every order and the additional tip. I'll be honest, not a fan of the automatic 18% gratuity for 1 person. Groups of 4 or more, sure. The mocktail I ordered was $10. That was a shock. But the soul rolls I ordered were worth every penny and then some. I'd eat a bucket of those. Mac and cheese, yams, and green inside fried egg rolls??!! I promise it's the bomb dot com. But the food and service were a delight and I'd definitely recommend others visit this spot for delicious food, drinks, and top star service.

Joy B.

Yelp
Prove me wrong, best brunch I've had in Atlanta in a very long time. Beautiful space, but not too much. Food was well seasoned and delicious. Ambiance was amazing. Last but certainly not least, customer service! What can I say, it is so refreshing to see the real southern hospitality back in Atlanta. Will be back again and again. Not to mention, I visited with a larger party and still shown great personalized service.

Yelp
Kaitlyn was absolutely amazing! Great customer service. This is my second time here, I highly recommend Crescent City Kitchen. Thanks Kaitlyn for being AMAZING!!!

Kaelyn C.

Yelp
I had brunch here with a couple of friends the day after Thanksgiving and really enjoyed the service and variety of food options. If you have a sweet tooth, this spot is definitely for you! As someone with a sweet tooth myself, I think that's why I enjoyed it so much. I'm not sure if this restaurant is fairly new, but I do wish the menu offered a wider variety of items. I felt a bit limited in my choices, but the dishes I ended up selecting were absolutely delicious. One highlight was the manager personally coming to our table to introduce themselves and check if everything was okay--just because! I've never seen a manager so actively engaged in a restaurant, and it was a really nice touch. I highly recommend the catfish and mac & cheese plate it was SOOOO GOOD! I'd come back every day for a dish like that!

Yelp
This was my first time visiting Crescent City Kitchen, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I came for brunch and had the Banana Foster Croffle with Chicken Tenders, which was absolutely delicious. We started our meal with the VooDoo Rolls, and they did not disappoint. The service was outstanding, thanks to Jamiyah, and the warm, inviting ambiance made the experience even better. Brianna greeted us at the door with a heartfelt welcome, setting the tone for a wonderful visit. I'll definitely be returning to try their dinner menu!

Yelp
Went to crescent city after touching down in the city for business. A recommendation from my friend who joined us for some convo lm& other things. The Soul Roll is a great starter plate. Flavorful and ready to be your first defense in dropping. The skillet was okay. The eggs were great, the bread was solid, but the sausage was not cooked or seasoned well.

Jasmine J.

Yelp
We went for our annual Galentine's Day and it was EVERYTHING! From the service, the food and drinks. The only thing I recommend, if you pack your food or order it to go. Make sure you take it!! I literally step outside and realize I left my food and walked back in to grab it and they threw it away. The sad part, I just order that food to go and they refuse to remake it. Lesson learned, but I will go back and recommend.

Jody S.

Yelp
After a local event we came here since this restaurant was recommended to me by someone who went earlier in the day. When I tell you we were full and happy, I mean every bit of both! We arrived last Saturday evening and there weren't any patrons there, which was great for us because we were looking for good and quick food. We both ordered the chicken and croffles because the croffles was something we never had before. It was a cross between a croissant and a waffle. It was better than I imagined. The chicken was also seasoned and fried to perfection! We also each had the fried lobster tail and it was also very good. THIS FOOD WAS MADE AND EATEN WITH LOVE!!! Lovely place that I would surely visit again given the opportunity!

Yelp
Great service, Great food! Had the desert biscuits, omg, best in ATL Queen and Janvonte were amazing

Justin S.

Yelp
This was a great experience for the mothers I took out for Mothers Day. We made a reservation, but arrived at a time where we were seated right away. (This is almost unheard of on a holiday in Atlanta.) Terry waited on us and did a fantastic job. Terry explained the menu well and the service was faster than we anticipated. There's been a good bit of turnover on Crescent Ave. and Crescent City Kitchen was a great addition that I had not patronized before. Great experience, great tasting food and great service.

Sherea B.

Yelp
Everything is delicious from beginning to end our waitress was so friendly and funny and gave great recommendations. We had an amazing brunch with an awesome vibe and good music too!

Lorrie W.

Yelp
My daughter and I went for lunch and we had great service. The server was very attentive. The place was clean with a great vibe. The stars of the show were the seafood dip and seafood egg rolls. The chicken was ok. The seafood fried rice tasted liked butter. The butter flavor was very overpowering. The catfish was good. All in all, I would go back again.

Haley K.

Yelp
Great Mac and cheese! Awesome tableside mimosas. Service was slightly slow at first but mainly because it was super busy. Everyone there was attentive and warm! Two seater table was a little tight, but otherwise a wonderful brunch.

Tierra L.

Yelp
Attended brunch with my friend and I did enjoy the restaurant. Reservations were easy and honored with no problem. There's a parking garage connected and street parking. I attended Wednesday morning at 11am and it was busy with random small parties. The waitress was attentive. I think this place is new and there was a consultant asking us how everything was which was nice. She was friendly as well at the wait staff. The food was pretty good to decent. We ordered the spinach dip which was amazing! The skillet was just alright. The croissant and eggs were just okay. Chicken sausage was good and potatoes were fair. The cocktail rum punch drink was really good. I would get a few of those if I could! It was nice I could see myself returning to maybe try Something else on the menu. I'm deducting a star because the gnats were insaneeeeeee. It was quite distracting and even had to cover my food while eating. The constant swatting away took away from my experience unfortunately. The entrance door was open which could have contributed.

Kousee L.

Yelp
Walked in on Cinco where they had $3 tacos, best decision ever! We ate every single crumb.. we loved the croffle!! perfectly crispy and delicious!! i LOVE the tacos too, the shells were harder and more crispy than traditional.. and the fillings were beautfilly thought out and finger licking good!! Service was nice and looking forward to becoming a regular!!

Skylar M.

Yelp
When I tell you Crescent City Kitchen is serving up the ultimate Southern-inspired flavors, I mean it! I started with the Deep Fried Biscuit Flight, and each bite was a warm, crispy cloud of perfection that left me speechless. Then, I dove into the Cajun Jambalaya Pasta--bold, rich, and packed with that unmistakable New Orleans flavor that feels like pure comfort. And the Egg Roll Flight? A creative twist that surprised me in the best way possible! Plus, they have a full bar to keep the good vibes flowing. Oh, and they serve brunch all day too, so whenever you're craving these flavors, they're ready!

Quita E.

Yelp
We had a reservation for 10 on a Saunday at 10am. Once we arrived we were told out table was ready but half the party needed to be present. No worries, half arrived and we sat. From the greeting to the end was excellent. That's for staff checking to make sure we assisted as we waited, to hold our birthday cake and providing plates, a knife and Togo boxes for it. Everyone enjoyed their food and drinks. We had the Markeside mimosas. You can share with up to 5 people. We asked for shot for the birthday guy and the did a quick little chant after dimming the lights and bringing the shots. That set off a chain reaction and all the other tables wanted birthday shots and it was cute. Our server answered all questions and they kept the table clean of dirty dishes. The fried biscuits were amazing. Reminds me of a funnel cake. They have a few flavors to choose from. We had plain, cinna bun and cookie. I only tasted the plain and was hooked. Lots of different meals were ordered but my breakfast tacos were good. We also had chicken and strawberry shortcake waffles. They use crossiants for their waffles. Snapper, red beans and rice and avocado toast. There was a complaint about the toast. The menu advertised whole slices of avocado but it was a spread. Slices were brought out to fix the complaint. So that did not take away from the experience, just an FYI. We will definitely be back. Parking is next door In the garage and they validate. It is small so reservations are best. As we waited I heard an hour wait. Can be pricey as all brunch spots in Atl are, our tab for 2 was $140.

Yelp
Hey Atlanta, Have you tried the CROFFLES yet? The croffle is a hybrid of a croissant and waffle. It was popularized in South Korea and then spread throughout the world. This is the first time in ATL. Crescent City Kitchen is Atlanta's premier dining destination where they have elevated the typical dining experience with their signature creation - the Croffle! Their signature Croffles are an innovative twist on a classic brunch favorite, delightful marriage of a crispy waffle and buttery croissant. They offer incredible brunch and dinner plates that can be customized to fit your dietary preferences, whether you're vegetarian, eggetarian, or vegan. They truly cater to everyone's tastes. And oh, I must mention their deep-fried biscuits! Be sure to save some room for those--they're absolutely irresistible. Dishes ordered - Devil Eggs Creamy Spinach Dip Skillet of your choice in Protein, Scrambled Eggs Soul Roll Fresh Chips Veggie Omelette Breakfast Potato Deep fried Biscuit Croffles - Strawberry Shortcake & Fruity Pebble Crescent City Punch Blueberry Cocktail Thanks to @crescentcityatl for customising the dishes for us as we are Vegetarian/Eggetarian. Address- 1080 Crescent Ave NE #6, Atlanta, GA 30309, United States Hours of operations Monday : Closed Tuesday- Sunday : 10AM - 8PM Garage Parking available right next to restaurant Pro Tip : Go completely empty stomach coz they have a lot of options to enjoy!!

Yelp
Food, service and ambiance yes...yes, yes Y E S! Matt was our server, super awesome dude, great service and everyone was helpful with big smiles.

Yelp
Wow! This was an experience. My daughter and I were visiting ATL and wanted to grab breakfast before returning home. Our hostess, Ms. Berry was so welcoming and nice. Our server was spot on- she knew the menu and recommended the Croffles-and that's what we went with. Delicious, soft, flaky and flavorful. I love how they fried the chicken sausage- seriously, it was so good. So, I was not just willing to settle for breakfast, I ordered Mac and cheese, seafood rice and red beans and rice to go. These options are delicious-every last one. I am already planning my next visit to ATL, I'm sure I will do some other things, but my motive is to return to Crescent City. Although the spot is not huge, the tables are set so that you will have elbow room. The Ambiance is nice.

Sharita C.

Yelp
This cute restaurant is located in Midtown and is connected to parking garage and the restaurant will validate your parking. The New Orleans themed restaurant is nicely decorated and has a quiet ambiance. Jay was our sever and she gave us her recommendations/favorite entrees on the menu. We ordered the voodoo egg rolls for and appetizer, catfish with yams and Mac and cheese, and the chicken and croffle Cinnabon. The egg rolls are life changing!!! That creole dipping sauce OMG I could eat as a soup! I'm adding this restaurant to the list of places I have to take people when they come to visit!

Latonia P.

Yelp
OMG!! This place did NOT, will not, shall not disappoint!! We were out walking and could smell the food outside as we passed by. That will lure someone every time. Barry, Devonte and Kisha were the best. They all provided excellent service and recommendations...and Kisha insisted we try the mac and cheese. She was right- it was incredible!

Falynn W.

Yelp
As someone who lives 3hrs away & is going twice in a 7 day period, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND. My friend and I stumbled upon this gem while quickly trying to find a good brunch to end our 24hrs in ATL. Crescent City Kitchen did not disappoint. Their Halloween decor was amazing, and the staff was able to seat us promptly despite us not having reservations. I suggest making reservations as they are a very popular weekend spot.

Nikki G.

Yelp
I attended a birthday brunch at Crescent City. I was a bit skeptical because the entryway was tight and people were waiting. The staff informed us that they were running a little behind but it would be worth the wait. SHE DID NOT LIE!!! To make the wait more interesting, I ordered a strawberry lemon drop martini , it was delicious and the bartender had a very pleasant demeanor. We were seated and the menu was options made it difficult to decide! We were a party of 10 and we all struggled with what to order. I decided on chicken wings with cookie butter waffles (yes after a martini don't judge me ). The wings were perfect and my "croffle" as they call it, was indescribably delicious . Their birthday celebration was lively and the perfect touch. From the drinks to the food to the service, this was an excellent choice and I shall return!

Christy N.

Yelp
We came here for my sister's birthday and the ambiance, customer service and food was excellent.

Yelp
Crescent city was all around an amazing experience. Barry (forgive me if I messed up her name) was a experience all to herself. Welcoming , friendly made us feel right at home. Crystal the owner came to check on us and was so sweet. Our waitress also amazing .. can't say enough good things. And then there was the food! The croffle fight was a must!!! Get the peach cobbler !!! And the soul rolls ... can't say enough good things. Every time I come back to Atlanta we will be there at least once maybe 3 times a trip. PS the music was a vibe toooo!!!

Yelp
Queen and Dior did a wonderful job taking care of our group of 20 ppl. Their service was amazing. Food suggestions on point, friendliness and personality were beyond expectation. They embraced the challenge of a large party coming in less than an hour before the kitchen closed. Explained how the tabs and checkout would work before we started ordering and took good care of us without rushing us. The food was amazing. Choffles are fantastic! I don't like super sweet and I loved the plain with no topping. Deep fried biscuits are better than my favorite donut that I will drive across Los Angeles to get anytime I have the chance. Red Beans and Rice are the best I've had (and I was born and raised in the south). The Brussel sprouts are amazing. The spinach dip was enjoyed by the spoonful and spoon licked clean to enjoy every last morsel. Amazing food, amazing service and wonderful night with colleagues. Thank you- Queen, Dior and Crescent City Kitchen!

Yelp
Me and a group of friends decided to choose this restaurant as our New Year's Eve brunch! Overall, I will give it a 3/5. It was very easy to make a reservation online, and there was a parking deck connected directly next to the building, so it's very convenient to park, especially in Midtown. The only mention I would say is that we didn't get a ticket when entering the parking deck, but once we were leaving, one of the owners let us out, so we were very grateful. Upon arriving, the restaurant had a good amount of people, but we still had to wait a bit for our table to be ready. Once we were sat, we had to wait almost 30+ minutes to get our waiter to come over, and serve us water. And then took another almost 30 minutes for us to get our drink orders, whereas the whole table ordered the same drink. Once ordering appetizers, there seem to be a bit of a lag time for anything that we ordered or needed. Another mention would be that on their Instagram page, they were advertising for a complementary glass of champagne during their business hours, but once we inquired about it, we were told different hours as what was marketed. None of the less, we received the complimentary champagne once we noticed other guests were getting a glass upon arrival. As expected, we knew our food would come out as ready, but majority of our group ordered a lot of the same dishes and entrées, but they came out 5 to 10 minutes apart. Some dishes, such as the mac & cheese, had to be sent back because it was cold on the inside. Besides those points, the food that we did eat was delicious and so flavorful! The catfish grits were amazing! By this point, our party had just become frustrated and was ready to go. My last mention would be that all checks come with the gratuity, no matter what you ordered, so beware! I would definitely return to this establishment but probably on a day where it's not as packed in order to try and get better service!

LaTasha A.

Yelp
Restaurant is extremely small. Ensure reservations are made in advance. Service is slow with certain servers. Fried chicken wings were delicious and prepared perfectly. Make sure to get parking sticker for garage validation.

Kiana B.

Yelp
Amazing food and service and they do it up for your birthday!!! Nice but casual ambiance.

Yelp
We wanted to take in the Georgia O'Keefe exhibit at the High Museum and decided to go into Midtown early for brunch before proceeding to the museum. We had heard about the Crescent City Kitchen and its famous Croffle, a merger of a crispy waffle and buttery croissant. Once there, we decided to venture into the world of sweet biscuits. Much to our delight, we were treated to a pleasureful dining treasure. These biscuits were somewhat like New Orleans beignet married to a cinnamon bun. Three different flavors were arranged on a serving board surrounded by mounds of whipped sweet cream. They included one with apple-pie filling on top, one with sliced strawberries, and one with a dollop of maple butter. WOW! What a taste sensation. We all ordered coffee to start, coupled with the biscuits. It came in four-ounce cups. This was weird as one would definitely desire an eight-ounce cup to wake up with in the morning. To make matters even more strange, the restaurant did not offer any artificial sweetener when asked and only had cream for the coffee when we asked for milk. This did not endear me to this restaurant as I have diabetes. Arlee and Annette ordered omelets that came with home-fries that were well seasoned and tasty. Dan and I ordered the skillet eggs. This was a nice presentation in an iron skillet coupled with a choice of sausage or bacon, home-fries and a somewhat dry biscuit. We were not asked by the waitstaff how we wanted our eggs and were only offered scrambled. In addition, we had to request three times for a refill on the miniscule coffee cup. When the bill came, it came with an 18% tip already buried in the bill with a line below the total for a tip (additional amount if one did not notice the original inclusion that's normally charged for groups of six or more. We were somewhat miffed at this point, paid our bill, and left. This restaurant's theme was inviting; however, the execution was less than desired. What should have been a very pleasant experience turned out to be non-satisfactory.

Yelp
Went for brunch with my family yesterday for my niece birthday and i was so disappointed. I will keep it short and straight to the point. Sat down at 3:00 Was not greeted until about 20min later Drinks took 40min Appetizer arrived a little over an hour after we ordered They didn't have any of the rolls or crab cakes So I ordered the red beans and rice which was cold. Sent it back for them to tell me they are going to refund my order and my niece order bc they ran out. My nephew fries was not cooked all the way done. My crescent order (forgot the correct name) took forever and when they brought it out i told them to take it back bc i was over it. I didn't eat anything!!!!!! They didn't have what i wanted and when i had to send my order back it was no more! No stars for me. But I'm only giving 2 stars bc of the manager. She was nice and apologetic and tried to make my niece experience nice and the server was nice too. But i was upset bc all that time i didn't get a chance to eat! I try to support us. But we fail to realize we have the reputation of taking to long, not having all the food etc...(which is why we rather go else where). Let's do better guys! Unfortunately I will not return and sadly i do not recommend. Dang i really hate this! Ps. Garage parking next door is $20

Yelp
We met here on Saturday for my BFF's birthday brunch. She was able to make a reservation and our party had a staggered arrival, but they allowed us to be seated and order drinks as we each arrived, which is wonderful. Our server was Jonnie B. She was sweet, attentive, informative and did an excellent job for our party of seven, particularly since we had separate checks. 18% gratuity was added, which is customary, but we all added to that to show our appreciation to Jonnie. They did something really special for my friend-all of the servers donned masquerade masks and brought out a tray of shots to the table while announcing her birthday! And several of us at the table are not drinkers, so they made our shots with orange juice and grenadine-so thoughtful! The food was not only delicious, but it was extremely well presented-like works of art! I've included photos of our items. Overall, this little spot gets an Outstanding on all counts! Bravo!

Yelp
When we walked in, my first impression was "nightclub". It was small, crowded and EXTREMELY loud. We sat and had our orders taken. Everyone at my table ordered alcohol except me. They had finished their drinks by the time I got my "basic" cranberry juice. In a party of 7, we were forced to eat our appetizers off of our napkins because the waitress didn't offer plates. My order took close to an hour to come out. (Parking is free first 2 hours. Just forget it! You're paying the $9.00 because it takes almost 2 hours JUST to get your food . Too much breading on the fish and salmon bites. Everything else was good. Service was lackluster. 18% gratuity is automatically added to EACH bill. The waitress looked at me like I was crazy for not leaving an additional tip. My only big issue was service and I was FORCED to pay for it which is why I won't be going back.

Yelp
At first glance the prices on some menu items were a little off putting. Sixteen bucks for a bowl of beans and rice? Really? And then there was the guaranteed tip announcement. Not even starting into THAT debate. However, we chose this spot anyway because the food looked really good. Did the place deliver? Yes indeed . Just see all of the other reviews here. It's all true. The impeccable service, the amazing food, all of it. All true. As is necessary for any place claiming some link to New Orleans the atmosphere was laid back and really friendly. All of the staff were attentive without being intrusive and made recommendations for house favorites. The drinks (I'll grant you we just had mimosas) were well balanced. Even the coffee and cream were great. But hey, don't believe me, go find out for yourself. Really.

Yelp
The drinks, starters and service were all great. However, the main dishes were so bad we didn't eat them. The rice in the breakfast bowl was hard and crunchy. The potatoes in the breakfast skillet were dry, the bacon undercooked. Cheese grits were lumpy, not creamy, OUR party of 4 brunch often and was our 1st time here at a recommendation. Needless to say we will NOT be going back.

Yelp
Service was amazing! 10/10. The food was ok. I had fish and grits. Good but nothing super unique. I'd you're looking for a solid meal with good service I'd recommend.

Yelp
I was very disappointed with the food and ambiance. I didn't realize it would be a "club" environment with loud music. The reviews and website are a bit deceiving. I was looking for a soul food restaurant to take my family who was here from out of town before seeing Usher so regrettably I chose somewhere close to the venue. I should have gone to my regular spots. 1) Food had no seasoning at all. I had the catfish, Mac & cheese (greasy & tasteless) and brussel sprouts (dry & tasteless). I've never gone anywhere where I didn't eat my food that I paid for (other than Mary Mac's which is another overrated restaurant) but I did this time too. I ate the catfish so I wouldn't be hungry. I believe they fried it with flour and I'm a cornmeal girl myself. Family felt the same way. Even the appetizers were no good. The spinach dip had no taste. They could have thrown a few capers or something in there to liven it up. 2) Alcoholic drink didn't seem to have any alcohol even after I bought an extra shot of bourbon. 3) Music was loud. If someone had a birthday shot come out, they'd turn the lights out for a moment to celebrate them. 4) They were out of some of the items we wanted. 5) Fried chicken was ok and the server was nice and patient so she deserved her gratuity. Not her fault that the food needs seasoning. If you're looking for good food and a chill vibe where you can talk and kiki with family, this ain't it. If you want to be reminded you're in the A...go for it boo!

Yelp
Food is great.. honest reviews on the rest. Staff left us with our plates piled up on the table. Anytime I asked for something I felt like I was bothering them. It was 4 people and everybody needed to go plates. The server only brought out one and we had to keep asking for them versus the courtesy being extended automatically to all four of us. I feel like with a little training the service will be excellent.

Yelp
Didn't realize this was formerly Johnnys Chicken and Waffles. Came in with a group of 4, floors very slippery. 2 people in our party were seated before us, yet our drinks came out before theirs? Online menu different than actual menu. Ended up just getting drinks and leaving. 4 drinks = $80 after service fee. Unfortunately probably won't be back.
