"Don’t mind the red rose wall at the entrance of Crescent City Kitchen in Midtown. Pose. Then keep it moving with your big group when you're in the mood for an easy-going brunch with a few great options. The fried chicken wings are the star of the show here—served crispy, hot, and perfectly seasoned. Get them as an appetizer, or pair them with the fluffy croffle (croissant dough pressed in a waffle iron, which is then sugared up with Fruity Pebbles and whipped cream). And don’t leave without trying the moist deep-fried biscuits, topped with rich cream cheese and served on a bed of drizzled cinnamon honey butter. The under-seasoned breakfast skillet and the hot honey sandwich with bland chicken are both OK but skippable." - Jacinta Howard
