I really enjoyed this place for brunch food was great and drinks are tasty. My only real compliant is the unlimited mimosas are not really unlimited they walked around with this cute lil pitcher. by the time they get yo your table it's empty. just make a pitcher for each table. but I will definitely be back!!! they are closing in June so hurry up and stop in!!

Google
Stopped in for an impromptu Sunday brunch and wow, we were blown away! Fun, lively atmosphere for a Sunday brunch. They have tons of breakfast cocktails and a $20 bottomless mimosa deal. We opted for the bloody Mary’s — their habanero Tahin rim was great. Ordered a few things to share. The Breakfast tacos were awesome and flavorful and don’t miss their homemade Quesabirria. We will be coming back.

Google
We had brunch. My partner had the steak skillet, I had the chilaquiles, and our daughter had the Nutella French toast. The food was served right away, and everything was delicious. The service was great, and the atmosphere was warm. We will visit again

Google
Amazing food! Great service Stephanie took awesome care of us. $2 empanadas and $5 mojitos were totally worth it! We will be back to try brunch! Update after 2 years coming here it's still beyond amazing. Brunch is awesome and still everyone is friendly, helpful, and polite.

Google
We happened upon this hip, modern Latin brunch spot. And boy, did we lucky out. There’s a feeling of family and local community here. And turns out it’s a popping brunch spot. The food and drinks were fantastic. You must try the Heaven Burger and the Steak Skillet. Both were perfectly seasoned and cooked just right. And those churros-yum!! You gotta give them a try!

Google
Go go go! What are you waiting for? No need to make a reservation because this cute cozy colorful place is not located in a super busy area but not far from one so it’s not over crowded. The food was great, the drinks amazing and the dessert… omg! My taste buds have died and gone to heaven! Amazing! Truly 😋

Google
Very much brunch bar vibes, incredibly friendly staff, delicious food, fun alcoholic beverages. My goodness… the tres leches French toast hit the spot! It is perfect for someone with a sweet tooth. Looking for something savory? The burrito and chilaquiles would be my go to.

Google
Great place for brunch a group of friends , reunions and kids ! Food was so good and you had me at bottomless mimosas! Love the decor, the vibe was great will be coming back! Only downside is that it gets packed and fast! So you gotta really wake up early to get a seat since it’s a small joint , if you’re willing to wait then go for it ! It’s worth it

Yelp
YUM. Came here before a show nearby in a Friday night and were seated without reservations no problem. Our party of three snagged a few tacos as well as empanadas and everything was incredible. Absolutely worth the stop.

Yelp
I went to Crio for my first time yesterday morning and absolutely loved it! I started off my meal with a mango margarita recommended by my server and it was one of the best margaritas I've had in a while. For an appetizer, I ordered a corn empanada and it was extremely tasty! For my main meal, my friend and I split the French Toast Flight and I also ordered a side of potatoes with chimichurri sauce and WOW it was all SO good. Honestly, I'm very glad we split the French Toast Flight because it was so much food but given the price, you surely get your bang for your buck! Also, I would definitely recommend trying the potatoes as they were extremely good as well. In addition to the amazing food, the service was also some of the best I've encountered in a long time. Thank you so much, Crio for an amazing first experience and I cannot wait to come back soon!

Yelp
I had the pleasure of enjoying brunch at CRĪO Bar and Restaurant in Chicago and let me tell you, it was an experience fit for royalty! The highlight of my visit was definitely the $44 Premium Patron flight - a trio of tequila that was out of this world. The presentation was instagrammable to the max. I was also pleasantly surprised by the $15 Heaven burger, which was the perfect cure for my slight hangover. The burger was cooked to perfection topped with a Dark Matter coffee rub, bacon, cheddar, a sunny side egg and blackberry jam. Every burger should have jam! Plus they give you gloves to stay clean, lol! Nice, cute touch. Overall, I cannot recommend CRĪO Bar and Restaurant enough. Their outdoor area is super chill and the service is on point. If you're looking for a top-notch brunch experience that's a bit more laid back in Chicago, this is the place to be.

Queta S.

Yelp
I have came to crio multiple times and have never had a problem. I will continue to dine at this establishment.

Vanity H.

Yelp
I could NOT not post this burger!!! WOW it was AMAZING! Heaven Burger: Dark Matter Coffee Rub, Stagel Farm Beef Patty, Bacon, Cheddar-Cheese, Sunny Side Egg, Blackberry Jam. MY GOODNESS what a combo!!! The flavors exploded as the burger and cheese melted. We got bottomless mimosas so of course we were happy and satisfied there. The waiter kept them coming so no complaints there! Seems like a lot of places are going with dark spaces because they're more intimate which it was. It was nice catching up with a girlfriend while also devouring a well made burger! I'll come back for sure!

Marlene S.

Yelp
Love this place! Came for Saturday brunch with some family visiting from back home and a friend. Came around 1:30pm and was shocked that it was pretty empty. We were seated right away and we chose to sit inside. Our group did the bottomless mimosa and we all chose different entrees. Everyone loved their food, I specifically went with the quesabirria and some roasted potatoes. Delicious!! The bottomless mimosa was truly bottomless since they frequently came by refilling our glasses before they got empty. The service was great and the must was a vibe. Will definitely return.

Shahrooz E.

Yelp
Always an incredible meal and incredible service!! Love this place for brunch and beverages.

Sydney B.

Yelp
We've been here over 4x now and I can honestly say this is me and my bf's favorite spot for mimosas. The bottomless is such a great and dangerous option! we've done the Birria ramen, Chilaquiles, and the torta and they're all good, but we'd honestly just go for the mimosas and empanadas. They are so so good! Drink carefully!

Yelp
10/29/21 - Another bookmark down. This is been on my list for a long time but put on the back burner until lately. I drove by Crio & something stirred in my doormat brain. All of a sudden this dim light bulb started glowing as I remembered that I had Crio bookmarked for many years. I sent this to my sister who is also a foodie & Yelp Elite of course she said let's go. Her birthday is next week so I thought what could be a more perfect opportunity to visit Crio and take my sister out to dinner. From the moment I walked in Crio is a chic cool dining area w/artwork, wall murals & a very nice ambiance. The food was very good. As it was we went there w/4 people so we were able to try some different food items. My wife ordered the chicken tostadas. The chicken was shredded & tender w/avocados & sour creams on top. These were seasoned good but nothing extra ordinary 4 Stars My sister ordered the skirt steak & a hibiscus margarita. The skirt steak was delicious seasoned & cooked to perfection, but a little on the smallish side (4.5 Stars). It was very tender & scrumptious. She also ordered a hibiscus margarita was also very good. Both my sisters friend & I ordered the taco de pescado which was a beer battered fish filet w/cabbage & aioli/avocado drizzled on top. This pescado taco was outstanding & in my eyes the star of the meal. (5+ Stars). We also ordered taco de panza taco which is a Ancho Chili rubbed pork belly w/pineapple/mango habanero jam (just ok 3 stars) Yelpers don't forget your 10% discount for checking in

Susan S.

Yelp
Was really good. My brother took me here for my birthday dinner . I had the ribeye steak with elote the people I came with had fish tacos and pork belly tacos the fish taco is delicious. I had the hibiscus margarita it was very good with a sugar rim , really good feeling a little tipsy right now I would recommend coming back here, the man that helped us was excellent I don't know if he's the owner but he made a lot of recommendations, portions are very small but it was enough food they usually give you so much food at restaurants and you are to full I was satiated yummy food good Elote excellent Hibiscus margarita. Cute atmosphere.

Shambavi K.

Yelp
Came in for brunch with 2 toddlers. This variety options are very tempting. The quesabirria was was filled with tender meat. The chillaquiles was flavorful and tangy with tomatillo and lime sauce. The margaritas sounded very good. Glad this place hasn't closed - it's definitely one of the best ones

Erik G.

Yelp
Love Crio! Phenomenal food, atmosphere, drinks and the staff is AMAZING! Best tacos in Chicago!

Bepos1luv O.

Yelp
Taco Tuesday .. ordered three different kinds, Pescado, Pork Belly and Pollo. The pork belly was tender and flavorful. The Pollo was shredded to much & lacked flavor as well as the fish. Hibiscus & house margs were refreshing. Waitress wasn't pleasant & not so attentive. Owner came to the table and shared some history about the restaurant cuisine. I would return for the pork belly tacos.

Eva S.

Yelp
I love this place SO much that upon its discovery, I came here three times in the month of March. It's really that good. Walk, skip, run, scooter, bike, drive, or ride share to this place. Crio has become my favorite place in Bucktown for weekend brunch and when you need a fishbowl of marg-mosas. It's always a good time. They adhere to covid19 protocols and at the moment they're open to indoor dining. Staff are masked and ask diners to be masked when ordering or when servers are dropping off food. Each party gets their table for up to 90 minutes. I came here on a double date to celebrate my birthday, to meet a friend to catch-up over margaritas, and to take some friends from out of town. Their food, ambience, and server here are fantastic and consistent. Let me rave a moment about their Heaven Burger. It is literally a godsend and sent to earth to live out its divine purpose. It has Dark Matter coffee rub, Slagel Farm Beef, bacon, beer cheese, sunny side egg, and blackberry jam. I usually order my burgers medium rare but for here, get it in medium and you'll be singing hallelujah in no time. I've tried their chilaquiles, breakfast burger, steak skillet, burrito, guava empanada, and churros. For their drinks I've had the hibiscus marg-mosa, mango marg-mosa, and jalapeño margarita. The owner is always around to chat with diners and is the friendliest guy ever! You'll never be disappointed here, I promise.

Pavnit K.

Yelp
I feel like my review of Crio is so long overdue. This place is a downright solid option whether you come in for brunch or dinner... although I think I favor brunch :-). Their food is a fusion of different Latin flavors (South America and Mexico) and fuse both their sweet and savory options. Whether you order their steak and eggs, brunch burger, or chilaquiles, you really can't go wrong. More recently, they added quesabirria to the menu and it was so good! The meat was super tender and not gamey at all. I do wish that they didn't charge an extra $6 for consome. While it's a lot, there is no way anyone can use it all and it ends up getting wasted. One must have for brunch at least once is their churro French toast. It's one of those decadent eyes roll in the back of your head type dishes! Finally, pre-pandemic, I loved their bottomless brunch. There is one day that stands out in my mind. They had a dj come in and had the best pop, hip hop and R&B playing. We had sooo much fun. Then, they never had a dj again (that I ever saw). It made me so sad! I hope post pandemic they will consider bringing back the dj. In terms of dinner, I have had the pork belly tacos, and the heaven burger. The tacos were solid for sure. The burger was interesting because they attempted a play on sweet and savory. It was good, but adventurous at the same time. Also, it seems they default their burger cook to medium (and it ends up fairly pink). If you do want it less pink, definitely specify!

James K.

Yelp
My wife has been a fan of this place for a while for their Bottomless Mimosas and brunch specials. It only made sense to come here as well! Together we tried the Chilequiles con mole, the Churro French Toast and the Quesobirria. Starting with the Quesobirria: for me this was the highlight of our meal. They offer one for $5.50, or 5 for $25 for those brunch groups that like to share. The tacos were PHENOMENAL!! Juicy, cheesy, with just a touch of heat from the salsa made this my favorite rendition of Birria to date. Next comes the Chilequiles con mole: their mole was VERY good. Rich, dark and deep flavors combined with the lime crema and avocado to create a complex experience that I was not expecting. My only complaint about this dish is that it appeared small for what we paid for it, but it doesn't help that I had to share as well. Finally, the Churro French Toast. It was not dry, like most French toasts from restaurants, not too wet; another likely outcome from places. Instead, we received a crispy, yet light French toast topped with delicious vanilla ice cream. On its own, the French toast was LOADED with sugar. I'm talking "fresh churro dipped in cinnamon sugar" loaded. It would have been too much were it not tempered by the ice cream. It melted into the PERFECT sauce to accompany this dish: richness swirled with sweetness. Although I only tasted the Champagne float, it was an interesting experience: it had the dryness and the acidity of the champagne front and center, but a velvety smoothness from the ice cream. It was good, but I think next time I will stick with the other drinks! Overall, I had a good time and the staff were friendly and on point. Make sure that if you plan on coming to brunch, come early because they get busy FAST!

Liz B.

Yelp
Amazing food and service. Hate they will be closing in June. Hope to see them reopen at a new location

Oscar N.

Yelp
Pork Belly Tacos, and any of their burgers is a must!! Great service and good people! Drinks are fire

Brian ..

Yelp
Delicious local restaurant. Totally bummed the alderman isn't allowing outdoor dining.

Gabrielle G.

Yelp
Crio has easily become my favorite place to go to brunch in Chicago. From their bottomless (strong) mimosas to their amazing Birria tacos, to the fun lively music, the good exponentially outweighs the bad here. If you make it there before 12:00pm, you should be ok as far as getting seated within 10-15 minutes, but if you go during their peak hours, you're looking at an hour to two hour wait. The restaurant is family owned and the family has always greeted me with such kindness that feels very welcoming. There is one host who gets a bit flustered when it gets busy and it can come off as rude, but having been in her shoes once upon a time, I get it. I've had all of the burgers and they are all fantastic, the potatoes that come with are decent, but I think could use a touch more seasoning. Overall, a great experience and great food so I definitely recommend giving this place a shot.

josé V.

Yelp
The food is very good. but the waiting time is long, we were at the bar waiting for more than 40 minutes for the table. Kitchen service is very slow, they taken more than 20min before taking the order or asking for drinks. After almost 3 hours they served us our food.

Jenny C.

Yelp
Brunch review and I plan to come back to check out happy hours / dinner. Bottomless option - $15+ your entree which is super reasonable. You can also choose from bottomless bloody Mary's or screwdrivers. Menu- straight forward Latin influenced cuisine and classic brunch items. They are flexible with substitutions. Flavorful food and honest recommendations. Only thing here ... I asked for steak with the up charge and there wasn't a whole of steak. Also, it says scrambled but came out more like an egg omelette but it was still good. Their house salsa/ hot sauce was so yummy! Service - attentive, personal and fun! The bottomless mimosas were always replenished. I never really had an empty glass same with my friend who got the screwdriver. Our server was really positive and upbeat. Hostess welcoming and accurate with the wait time. While we were waiting the bartender who happens to also be the owner, Alberto was so nice and welcoming! What was really cool is they were able to transfer our drinks to our table tab once our table was ready. Super convenient! Atmosphere - music is loud enough to hear it but not where you are yelling to keep a conversation. It's hip hop/ reggaeton and top 40. Crowd so diverse I loved it!! I have not seen that in Lincoln park ... EVER. I felt right at home. On the way out we were thanked by Alberto and my friend and I told him how we enjoyed our experience and happy this establishment exists! Will be returning because their mango margarita looked delicious and well crafted. Can't wait to experience outside of Brunch!

Alexandra T.

Yelp
Everything we ordered for dinner was stellar. Skirt steak, tacos, plantains, mussels, all perfectly prepared and flavorful - plus the prices are very reasonable.

Jacqueline A.

Yelp
Hidden gem. I drive past this place all the time and went for brunch.... It was PACKED! I got the chilaquiles and my fiancé got a steak skillet. The steak was perfection. We also shared a QUESABIRRIA and I wished we ordered more. 20 dollars for unlimited mimosas ?!?! This place is so awesome, the music was great. I will def be back! Great for groups and celebrations :)

Bill M.

Yelp
My love enticed me to dine at CRĪO on a recent weeknight, as she had a Groupon deal. CRĪO is a bit awkwardly located on Clybourn slightly north of Fullerton, not that close to any of the major public transit stations. However, once you walk inside there are cool murals and artworks on the walls bursting with color and attitude. The servers were patient with us, and fortunately without too much attitude. Sitting at the bar with a margarita is fine, as we had fun staring at all the bottles and into the giant mirror. We ordered a bunch of tacos with different ingredients, and they were all pretty scrumptious. This landlubber even enjoyed a bite of the tacos with fish and octopus. We also liked tasting a couple of empanadas and an order of savory chimichurri fries.

Anna P.

Yelp
My friends and I decided to try this place for bottomless mimosas. Not even a minute into sitting down, the owner comes up to us and says he thinks he's seen my friend here before. She says she's never been here and he proceeds to make a racist gesture about her eyes (we are all Asian). It was appalling.

Leah C.

Yelp
still high fiving this place (thankfully)... i was very nervous that through the years and through a pandemic, this place would somehow fall apart but it's still fantastic. not your regular boring brunch fare and quick, efficient service. i almost don't want to tell anyone about this for fear that it'll be too packed the handful of times i ever out for brunch! the chilaquiles still rank high in my book!

Trisha A.

Yelp
Happy hour on Wednesday was a steal! Empanadas are $2 and mojitos are $6, flavored are $7. We just came from having drinks so we only ordered the empanadas and tacos. I thought the empanadas would be smaller for the HH deal but they were what I assume is the regular size aka BIG! They were different than what I'm used to but delicious nonetheless. I had the Portobello mushroom, the beef brisket, and the pork carnitas (empanada of the month). I like the meat ones the most. But, I should've inquired about the size beforehand cause 3 was too many and I couldn't fully enjoy the last one which was the mushroom. I'd come back to check out other menu items!

Stephanie S.

Yelp
We got a $30 groupon for $50 worth of food. It seemed like a deal given the 4+ star rating Order - Heaven Burger: Dark Matter Coffee Rub, Slagel Farm Beef . Bacon . Beer- Cheese . Sunny side Egg . Black Berry Jam - Milanesa torta: Breaded Chicken Breast . Avocado . Queso Oaxaca . Tomatoes . Chile Pasilla Salsa - steak, fish, and octopus tacos Likes - big and doesn't need reservations for dinner - octopus taco was interesting. The octopus was tender but portions were small. We also ate it without the corn tortilla - interesting burgers - portion of the chicken in the milanese tora was great - friendly staff Dislikes - portion size of the octopus in the taco - fries were too soggy and oily. They needed to be fried longer - the torta roll could be more crispy and the chicken could be pressed/flattened to be crispier as well. This couldn't compare to my favorite milanesa torta/panini from XOCO Overall, it was decent but not worth coming again. TIP: get the groupon or check in on yelp for 10% off

Darrion B.

Yelp
I ate 3 tacos: Carne asada, Panza and Cochinita. F@#$%* delicious! Will definitely be back

Ali M.

Yelp
Don't sleep on this spot it's straight fire. We sat outside (they have a cute little street patio) and our waitress was so attentive and sweet. They have killer margaritas and a pitcher is only $20. Food was incredible. The tacos are so fresh and so tasty. I'd highly recommend the burger also. It's so sloppy they give you gloves to eat it with. My kind of place.

Oralia Lali A.

Yelp
This has become a favorite for me. I've had both their breakfast and dinner items and both are delicious! Their breakfast menu is by far one of the best I've ever had, add the bottomless mimosas to that equation and it's perfection. Go with friends who love an uplifting and invigorating atmosphere. The ambiance is great! Friendly staff is a bonus in a busy establishment. Te sientes en casa cuando estás ahí.

Nanci G.

Yelp
I saw this restaurant all over my friends instagram account. Not only one friend, but multiple of them. I knew I had to try it. For some reason I thought when I looked it up they didn't have bottomless mimosas for their weekend brunch, BUT THEY DO!!! OK, I came here with two of my friends we were celebrating a birthday. The food was too good! So obviously, we all got the mimosas we were definitely aiming for a boozy brunch LOL. I went with the steak skillet and omg, the steak was sooooo tender and so good. My friend got the Guatemalan breakfast, his looked so homie I ate some of his plantains. My other friend got a burrito or wrap of some sort. I don't recall, hence BOOZY BRUNCH. The atmosphere was so fun and welcoming, they have an outdoor but we sat inside. The staff was friendly and welcoming as well. The place was surprisingly empty for a Sunday brunch, but people were coming in quick. Total was roughly $150 including tip. The location kinda threw me off lol I didn't expect it to be there but hey it works, and street parking was available. ALSO DONT SPEED DOWN CLYBOURN THERE IS A SPEED CAMERA!! I AM COMING BACK, I need to try the tacos and different drinks on their menu.

Aleesa G.

Yelp
Actually 4.9/5 and only because the street style taco did not exceed our expectations. But what did exceed expectations is the service , the margaritas and THE FOOD ! Must order the margaritas flavorful but not overly sweet just the right amount we recommend jalapeño just the right amount to get the tongue. Cucumber and hibiscus definitely refreshing on these summer nights ! Queso Fundido delicious and cheesy will need to try with chips for the crunch came with tortillas. Favorite tacos of the night chef choice which was octopus which was made to perfection , avocado, and fish ! Elotes and the fries seasoning were delicious as well just felt we had to try them and they did not disappoint. Can't wait to try the rest of the menu especially for weekend Brunch !

Kim V.

Yelp
I stopped by this past Saturday night. I had previously been here with my son with a Groupon for bottomless brunch. The brunch was excellent and who can not enjoy bottom less Mamosa's! It was definitely crowded and a full house for a weekend brunch. I stopped in and while it wasn't too busy especially with the never ending snow and cold we're having in Chicago this winter, I had a wonderful dinner. Eve was a hostess but I also was my server. She did a great job and help explain a few things on the menu. I ordered a sangria without sugar, yes I'm one of those! And she was happy to accommodate my request. FaceTime Yves recommendations I ordered the Torta De Carne Asada with a side of Platanos Fritos. I typically don't eat such a heavy carb meal and while I only ate half of it and brought the rest home it was delicious! The tortilla was an excellent blend of steak, jalapeños, red peppers and cheese. The Plantains were perfect. The sandwich was also served with a side of chimichurri fries. I only ate a few but they were very tasty. Street parking can sometimes be a challenge but it is everywhere in Chicago! Don't miss visiting this restaurant! The artwork inside is different but beautiful. The food is outstanding and the help has always been courteous, helpful and pleasant. I'll definitely return.

Tayshia K.

Yelp
A group of us went for Bottomless mimosas and they were strong. Tacos are amazing as well. 10/10 recommend.

Tim O.

Yelp
This is our new go-to place. They're open for brunch over the weekend, and dinner on Tues, Thurs and Fri. My wife had the steak tacos, and I had the fish tacos which had a light and crispy batter. We also both had the hibiscus margaritas which were amazing as well. You won't regret it!

Linda O.

Yelp
Amazing place! Cozy and the staff we interacted with were super friendly. Must try the Heaven Burger...you will think you died and went to heaven with every bite. Tacos were also good (tried the fish taco, panza and pibil), but the burger and fries were the clear winner. Will definitely be back!

Hashim T.

Yelp
This was a spur of the moment decision that a group of us made to try out. I can understand why it's so busy! Through the leniency that the city has been uplifting to Covid restrictions this establishment still maintained safety guidelines that stood out to me. FOOD- Limited choices, as the server explained was due to covid.. Couldn't alter certain dishes which would be very difficult for a vegetarian.. I didn't like the fact that they charge full price for a dish that has meat when not wanting the meat to begin with... However, I took plunge in trying their famous Quesabirrias & Steak Skillet it was the best decision I made while dining in. The meat was tender, lean & deliciously expensive! STAFF- Friendly, & accommodating nothing extraordinary stood out, due to it's volume of business I'm sure. CLEANLINESS- Not a fan of the glass cups being faced upside down the on table, that we are trusting to be clean. PRICE- Not cheap, you're paying for the environment you're in, the quality of food & the service. Nonetheless, the food was delicious! I rated this 4 out of 5, just because of the simple fact that you are not able to customize a small simple dish such as ordering a dish without meat and they still charge you for meat. I didn't think that was fair at all to a customer who is truly a vegetarian. But I did enjoy the food! And I will definitely be returning again for some more Quesabirrias! And remember, Don't forget to tip your Server!

Jen S.

Yelp
This is my second review for Crio: love. Saw another patron get the brisket sandwich and without knowing what it was, I was "taken." Got the endorsement from the owner and it was a done deal. This is the best brisket I've ever had, hands-down. My friend, not much of a carnivore, backed me up on this. I don't think I can order anything else moving forward. Ambiance is lively, fun and LOUD! Families, dates, ppl hungover, everything goes here. I had a new beer by Off-Color brewery, a "beer for brunch" and also fell in love with that! A little pricey at 9$ for the can, but it's a special treat right? Love this place and recommend to all!

Gracie C.

Yelp
The service here was so great! The mimosas kept coming, and the food was very tasteful! The flavors melted on my tongue! The Ambiance was so great, it was such a good vibe! This is a brunch Go-to!

D M.

Yelp
Not the type of review I like to leave but this place was pretty disappointing. Service was o-k, coffee was disgusting, Food was also disappointing and don't bring us the appetizers with our main meal. Hard pass on this place. Guess we should've turned around the min we walked in and it smelled like wet mop. ( no one was mopping )

Will J.

Yelp
We had brunch here on Sunday. The place does not accept reservations so a party of 7 of us shows up and we are seated at a high top. The server was friendly and helpful in making recommendations for both food and drinks. We didn't feel rushed or pushed to finish our meal and she kept tabs on us to make sure that there was nothing that we needed. The food was amazing - I had the pulled pork chiliquiles but also took a bite of one of my companion's chicken and waffles which was also tasty. We pretty much stuck to the margaritas which tasted fresh with cucumber and watermelon. To be honest. I did expect them to be syrupy and overly sweet - they weren't thank G-d. Perfect day and glad someone in my group had the idea to go there.

Ojus P.

Yelp
Came back for the same order of a Heavenly Burger and Chilaquiles. Both were solid 4/5, but not as special as I'd remember. Got a pineapple jalapeño cocktail that was delicious.

Misty S.

Yelp
I came here for brunch and got the huevos rancheros for $10. The ham was an interesting spin on this dish and it was good. I prefer the tortilla to be crispier. The avocado slices on top were good. I feel like I can get equally as good huevos rancheros for less at a regular Mexican restaurant. I did enjoy the artsy decor of this place. Bloody Mary is $9, but you can get bottomless for $18. Paid street parking, free on Sunday. ....| \ _ , , , - - , , _ , .../ , ` . - ' ` ' . _ \ - ; ; ; , _ ..| , a - ) ) _ . ; . ( ` - ` - ' - ' ' - - - ' ' ( _ / . _ ) - ' ( _ \ _ )

Yelp
This place has some amazing brunch and tacos. It's a mixture of the tacos I know from the Southside of Chicago (where I grew up) with a little bit of a modern twist. But not too much. The spicy marg is fantastic and my two favorite tacos are the steak street taco and the fish. SO GOOD.

Yelp
We had a number of amazing tacos on blue corn tortillas here. It's the sort of menu where everything looks amazing, including the margaritas. They're quite strong drinks so be mindful of this if you're drinking. CRĪO is family owned and the staff is very friendly. While the proximity of the bar to the host stand may give the appearance of cramped quarters, the restaurant seating was comfortable with colorful, modern flair.
