The 20 Best Restaurants In St. Helena - The Infatuation

"Crisp feels a little like a health spa cafe, with a bunch of grab-and-go salads and grain bowls. Pick a few of those up to take wine tasting, or order at the counter and hang out in the brightly lit space, which is right next door to Sunshine, a great local market. You’ll find a variety of smoothies, elixirs, and power bowls, with many vegan and gluten-free options available. We like the line-caught poke bowl, the fingerling potato salad, and usually end up with some doughnuts and a cold brew smoothie to end the meal." - Christina Julian

Wonderful breakfast spot! This coffee shop and cafe is full of delicious and healthy treats and delicious coffee. And if you are gluten free— the perfect place because everything is gluten free! And delicious. Try the avocado toast. You won’t be disappointed.

I love CRISP. Not necessarily because they have the best food ever, but because they are giving people like me (gluten/dairy sensitivity) a SAFE space to eat. Once you walk in, you have the pastry display to your left and to the right there are beauty products and other great stuff you can browse. I got coffee here and the pork belly banh mi. I will say, I did not expect the bread on the banh mi to look the way it did, but it was quite delicious for being gluten free! I didn't love the coffee, but I've noticed it is very difficult to find GOOD coffee in the St. Helena area. My wife had the avocado toast which also came with gluten free bread and a bunch of delicious toppings. The bread was pretty good, but you could tell it was gluten free... when will we get to a place where you won't be like "hmm.. something is slightly off about this." The service here is amazing. There was a couple beside me that was being quite the tough customer, and the server was delightful and helpful. "Model Bakery" employees could take some lessons from CRISP employees.

Beautiful new room with delicious foods and a friendly staff. They have a variety of items that are gluten / dairy free, and they also sell health items such as protein powders, face masks, and more. They also have prepped foods if you're on the go! Service was a bit slow given we were the only people there, but definitely a good overall experience! **Edit: to five stars for the rapid response. They are great people!

Wow! It's like walking into a high end boutique that offers vegan food. So cool the vibe is, and the restroom is so "pristine." The best experience in a public setting. A place you can relax and enjoy the atmosphere and have good food. 👍

absolutely love this place! such good, clean food. wonderful presentation! there was a lovely live music trio (which I think was for a special day... but it was a true treat!). staff was informative and attentive. make sure to look for the Crisp store front sign, across the parking lot, next to Sunshine Foods. you will be happy you did!!

Five stars for atmosphere, service, quality of food and deliciousness! And for a gal with an exquisitely sensitive system, I have walked away from this scrumptious lunch not only not feeling a little sick - like I normally do after eating out at most restaurants - but actually feeling great. Be prepared to spend a little more than normal, which I know is true for all restaurants with the effects on sourcing and availability, and for Crisp, the excellent quality of food. However I feel it was well worth it: the owners themselves checked on us twice to make sure we had everything we needed, and we got to sit in the cozy corner on the benches. This place is worth the hype if you don't mind spending a little bit extra money. But don't fret, you'll feel great after dining there.

It’s is a lovely atmosphere of delicious food for a healthy palate that enjoys tasty foods. Crisp kitchen breads are crunchy crusts with chewy centers of perfection. Fresh food, delicious and gluten free pastries. I love their Chocolate Chip cookies. Everything you want a cookie to be in taste. The food bowls are inviting, delicious and wholesome. So satisfying to love the taste, crunch and after notes of the smoothies. I have returned often bc I love it so much. .
