We ate 3 breakfasts and 3 dinners here. We had amazing and friendly staff the entire time. We never had to wait for more than 10 minutes for a table. Breakfast was our favorite meal and it was phenomenal. I can't say enough good things.

Wow, just wow. We stumbled in from a long day of offroading and were not expecting just how amazing the food is at Crossroads Cafe. The sandwich bread was soft and fresh, the Mac and cheese was to die for. All 5 of us loved the food so much we told them we would be back in the morning for breakfast as well. Every single item we ordered was delicious

Google
Waited for almost 1 hr before getting our food and there’s no service except adding water during the wait. Coffee refill after strong request. Asked a random server said food will be ready whenever it’s ready. Oh very cool. Mandatory 20% gratuity since we are group of over 6. “We have a small kitchen with only 3 cooks. “ When you walk in a restaurant in a small town we expected to wait for 1hr for a brunch on weekend? Oh can the owner get more space for kitchen in exchange for tables?

Google
Delicious American cafe right at the West entrance to Joshua Tree. 🍳 Good food, decent prices and friendly staff. Indoor and outdoor seating. ☕ Coffee a touch bitter for my taste, but not going to dock them for that, everyone has different preferences. 🥦 Good selection of vegan options 🚻 Clean toilets for customers 💳 Takes credit cards 🚘 Off-street parking directly in front

Stopped for breakfast. It was great. Biscuits were fresh and tender, gravy was flavorful but not greasy, amazing! The country potatoes are tasty too! Will be making the trip to come back for sure. Timely service, awesome people, perfect little café!

Fantastic biscuits and gravy. This place gets busy, so visit during their off hours for the best experience. They serve a damn good cup of coffee and the inside is really cute.

We decided to try the Crossroads Cafe in Joshua, California. Great service and delicious healthy food. We will be back again. The Valencia : Eggs Benedict with tomato and avocado Avocado Toast Fake Philly - seitan, grilled onions & bell peppers w/ jack cheese

I had high hopes for this place, but it definitely let me down. The food was at most average. Don't trust some of the reviewers unless they had tried other foods outside the area. The country breakfast was not good. The biscuit and gravy was dry. My friend's toast was burnt. The pancake was okay. The butter that came with it was good. The Mike's mess was enjoyable and the only thing I recommend getting. The Mac and Cheese is very average. The Mimosa was very disappointing. They use a regular glass cup. The mixture of orange and sparkling wine was okay. I don't know what wine they use but I had better. The ambience is nice. Very western vibe. Plenty of space for seating. Plenty of things to look above as well. Service was nice. All the ladies were nice and helpful. They have high chairs for the kids.

Yelp
Traditional diner vibe! The food was really good. I loved my tuna sandwich. We also ordered the Ruben which was delicious. The Cesar salad was huge! Which worked out cause we starving after our hike. Perfect to share, this was the "side salad" serving. The waitress was kind, mildly attentive. Would definitely go back to try the other sandwiches/ breakfast. Cheers!

Yelp
Same old Yelp scam where friends and family falsely rate a place No chance anyone would think that this was 4 stars 1 star is generous Seating takes forever Lame menu , food comes ok cold , burger tasted freshly dethawed Joshua tree food in general But this place really was the cherry on top

Keanu H.

Yelp
Place has a b rating and I can see why. Flies everywhere swarming our table and hovering on the walls and lights above us. Also the food is pretty bad. This place should just be open as a bakery...maybe. The food is bad. Cheap eggs overcooked and also the dishes aren't great. The polenta itself was good, but the beans were crunchy , the coleslaw flavorless, the corned beef gross (no redeeming quality). Did I mention how gross the flies are. Yes. Haven't noted the service , we saw our server one time. Then had to walk to the front to pay. Only 1 bathroom too, super slow hand dryer. Be ready to wait in line. All that for a 40 min wait too, plus this spot closes at 2. For sure stays afloat on hype.

Dawn M.

Yelp
This place is for sure looks like a hole in the wall but was delicious. We got there around 10:00 am and there was no wait and we were able to sit down pretty quickly. The waitress took our order and the food came out pretty quickly too.

Stella B.

Yelp
It seems like a busy place. Almost all tables were full. I had to mention that, because from the time arrived and were seated the wait was a bit long. There was other tables which were there prior to us that still haddent gotten the food ordered. The food was good although the salad dressing a little on the sweet side. We'll the food was good and the servers and staff could be a little more polite but if you want to eat stop and just be patpatient.

Anna R.

Yelp
This was a really cute cafe that we found near our AirB&B. We went after our long day wandering around JT National Park. The AC felt so good, a little too good that we had to move tables bc it got a little too cold for me. The ambiance was classic and vibrant. The service was awesome and welcoming. When we went, it was after the lunch rush so it wasn't busy and got sat right away. We ordered a burger, pesto sandwich, side of Mac and cheese and side of chili. The food also came with side salads. All of the food was tasty fresh and had a Great home cooked flavor to it. I would love to come back the next time I'm in Joshua Tree!

Ratana C.

Yelp
This place is a gem. The staff are super friendly and the food is amazing. Our service went through great lengths to make sure we got what we wanted and never stopped smiling even when I asked her to remake a burger Patty I ordered for my dog but I didn't specify that I didn't want salt or pepper. It was my fault for not requesting but she didn't make me feel like I was at fault. This is a must for breakfast and lunch if you're in the area!

Jennifer P.

Yelp
Absolutely loved this restaurant and couldn't rave about it enough! We got up early and hiked Joshua Tree then headed to Crossroads Cafe after since they serve breakfast late. I thoroughly enjoyed every bite of the Country Breakfast. The eggs were some of my favorite I've had, the biscuits were nice and fluffy, and the potatoes were perfectly cooked! Next up was the Sourdough French Toast, which was also amazing. I would recommend ordering some strawberries with it! They were fresh and added to the plate. The XRoads Omelet was also just as delicious! Do yourself a favor and try this spot the next time you are in Joshua Tree!!

Alex K.

Yelp
AMAZING! This spot is nothing short of spectacular. There was a little wait but I can see why. Our food was amazing. The best breakfast I've had in a while. It definitely gives the cafe/diner vibe and fits the aesthetic of the Joshua tree area. If you visit you MUST go

Diann C.

Yelp
Really enjoyed this cafe in this eclectic town. Can't wait to go back and try some of their vegan offerings. Service was on point too. Highly recommend.

Sabrina T.

Yelp
Totally decent option for dining in the area. I appreciate that they are open later than JT Country and I also appreciate that they are with the times by utilizing your phone number when the wait times are high. I'm happy that I walked away from JT Country and came here because I was finally able to eat something! That being said, I was seated after 1:30 so breakfast was no longer being served. I ordered a standard black coffee along with a toasted chicken pesto sandwich with fries. To a hungry driving girl out in the desert winter... it was delicious. In any other scenario, I would still say this diner is a few notches higher in quality than your average diner. If JT Country is packed--scratch that, just go to Crossroads anyway. If you score decent parking you can peruse some of the novelty shops nearby.

Victoria M.

Yelp
It is at Crossroads Café that I had the most mouthwatering delicious tuna out sandwich in my entire life! It was so good. The portion was so large I couldn't finish the entire sandwich. I saved the other half for leftovers instead of leaving it! The waitress was friendly and attentive, and the ambience reminded me of an old western. A must stop while visiting Joshua Tree! And on a sidenote, one of the employees had a giant bright blue Mohawk, just like my dog who was out in the van... The photo says it all!

Ben F.

Yelp
Crossroads Cafe in Joshua Tree offers a delightful culinary experience amidst the serene desert landscape. From the moment you step in, you're greeted with warm hospitality and a laid-back atmosphere that perfectly complements the desert vibe. The menu is a fusion of comfort food classics and innovative twists, with options to satisfy every palate, including vegetarian and vegan choices. I loved the Ahi tacos and they were able to do corn tortillas on the quesadillas. The ambiance is relaxed yet vibrant, with rustic decor and eclectic touches that reflect the artistic spirit of Joshua Tree. Service is attentive and friendly, adding to the overall charm of the experience. Whether you're a local resident or a visitor passing through, Crossroads Cafe is a must-visit destination for delicious food and good vibes in the heart of Joshua Tree.

Yelp
It was a cold, windy January night, so I had the Dirt Bag which was Cilantro-Chicken soup over two soft biscuits. My husband had the grilled cheese with fries. Our food was out of the kitchen in minutes, tasty and reasonably priced. I mentioned I wanted soup because I was getting over a cold. To my surprise, a steaming cup of water with lemon magically appeared at our table thanks to our kind and thoughtful server. Her consideration simply made our day. This cafe is an unassuming little gem in the heart of Joshua Tree.

Christina P.

Yelp
So we had visited this place once before and had a great experience. We came back to Joshua tree for my birthday and I decided to come to this place because the food and vibes were so good. As soon as we came in and left our names the vibe just wasn't right. We waited 30 minutes and got seated and ordered. She brought us a wrong drink one of our orders was wrong and two of the fries looked soggy and undercooked. She never came to give us any more water. We had to ask another server for more water. Later on when we finally got our check, She lied and said she had to help out the front ....even though we watched her give two other tables right next to us water and go back to the bar after. On top of that they added the tip. We Won't recommend or be back.

Michael S.

Yelp
There aren't many options near the park entrance -- you're likely eating here or Country Kitchen. Both are good and I suggest you visit both. I've done many meals here and they're all been great. I love the breakfast sandwiches, but this review is based on my most recent dinner -- pastrami sandwich and a bowl of chili. Everything was good but after spending all day in the park, I should have ordered two meals! The service is always friendly and attentive. The interior has a cozy feel. See you guys next time!

My-Hanh L.

Yelp
This place was exactly what we were looking for. The service was great and food was yummy. The space was filled with antiques and such a cozy vibe. The pancakes were thin yet fluffy and the over-easy eggs were cooked to perfection. Stop by for breakfast before hitting your thrifting stroll.

Yelp
This is such a cute cafe! We have been twice now and each time have had really great food and coffee. This smaller establishment definitely fills up quick on weekends and at peak hours, so arrive early and/or carve out plenty of time. (You can peruse the various shops nearby if you've got a longer wait to get sat!) Also, I believe the bar top requires the host to seat you at it, versus some places that have open bar seating. Let me say, they truly do serve an excellent cup of coffee. Since I prefer my coffee black with no added sugar nor cream, this is something I truly appreciate--hooray for well-balanced coffee that doesn't cause your day to kick off with a bitter sense of disappointment! Each time I have gone, I ordered the New York Reuben with a side of fries. It's nice they let you select the type of bread you want for your sandwich (3 options), and there's also a variety of sides you can choose from if fries aren't your thing! However, their fries ARE very good--think "poster child" fries, the ones that have just the right amount of greasiness to them. Also important to note, the prices are very reasonable AND portion sizes are great, too! While I get the whole "organic", "farm-to-table", etcétera labels ordeal that many other places tout, at some point prices can seemingly get a bit out of hand. This was definitely NOT the case at Crossroads Cafe!!! Admittedly, service is hit-or-"kinda miss" from my limited experience. I have had better experiences conversationally, but nothing terrible or notable enough to warrant anything less than a five-star review though. Plus, I'm sure with how transient this area can be with the plethora of visitors at the nearby National Park, the waitstaff/locals have probably seen their fair share of visitors who aren't especially pleasant to chat with. So, expect the basics in terms of service--nothing above/beyond--and your expectations should get met at least. Overall, stellar cafe with many great food options and a cozy dining room atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this spot for anyone looking for a delicious breakfast or brunch spot near Joshua Tree National Park!

Yelp
Crossroads is a great option for breakfast/lunch in Joshua Tree. My group of four put our name down then roamed the Farmers Market as we waited for a phone call for our table to be ready (make sure you answer that call - they'll give your table away). When we sat, we each ordered an iced vanilla latte (8/10). For our meals we ordered the following - with each persons personal review : * Country Breakfast (2 eggs any style, home fried potatoes, with homemade biscuits smothered in gravy) The gravy was the star of the show with its pepper flavor. A must to order: 10/10 * Mike's Mess (eggs scrambled with potatoes, bacon, and mushroom, topped with jack and cheddar cheese, tomato, sour cream, and green onion served with toast) This meal was content and had the right portion of every ingredient. A safe and solid option: 8.5/10 * Homemade Corned Beef Hash (2 eggs and style with corned beef hash & green onions, served with choice of toast) Hash was okay didn't really stand out: 7/10 * Soyrizo & Eggs (2 scrambled eggs with homemade vegan chorizo, cheddar cheese & avocado. Served with black beans, sour cream, cilantro, cabbage slaw and tortilla). A solid vegetarian option with plenty of food: 8/10 Service was attentive, punctual, and up to par. Overall, great option for a hearty meal at a reasonable price.

Yelp
Small cafe was very busy when we stopped by around 1:30. We had to wait about 20 minutes and squeeze 5 into a table for 4, but we were glad to be seated on a busy holiday week. Food was very good, especially the burger and fish tacos. Only knocks were the BLT was light on the LT so was a bit dry, and the orange juice was very bitter. Service was teamwork approach and was good. Food came out quicker than expected. One bathroom was closed so the open one was taking a beating.

Miriam C.

Yelp
Definitely worth your wait I can't wait to go back there and try them again their biscuits and gravy were out, but the waitress was kind enough to give me a side of gravy and Wow I really wish they would've had the biscuits that they make fresh. Pricing was average and the customer service was excellent. Definitely on top of my best spots to stop when.In Palm Springs. I'm glad my Airbnb renter recommended them. I can see why oh yeah and you have to try the prickly pear lemonade or iced tea I don't remember, but it was really good.

Anna L.

Yelp
I visited Joshua Tree with my family for my birthday and stayed at a cute Airbnb nearby. We visited the Saturday farmer's market and then we wanted to grab brunch somewhere. I'm so glad we stumbled upon Crossroads Cafe. It was a busy spot and there was a bit of a wait for a table, so we figured that was a good sign. Lucky for us, we were seated within about 10 minutes. Some people write their phone numbers down on the waitlist and then leave, but I'd recommend staying nearby because things move pretty quickly. Once we were seated, we started off with coffee, juices, and yes, they have mimosas. I used Yelp to look at pics of the food, and the Hi-Ho combo was calling my name (Choice of 2 pancake or French toast, 2 eggs any style, and choice of home fries, fruit, bacon, sausage, ham, or andouille). I went with the French toast, scrambled eggs with cheddar, home fries, and added a side of bacon. Service was quick and the food came out hot & fresh. First off, this plate is huge and definitely large to enough to share. I didn't mind having leftovers though. Their bacon is absolutely fantastic, we couldn't get enough. Everyone enjoyed their meals... sister-in-law got the corned beef hash and MIL got the country breakfast. They also have lots of veg friendly options on the menu, so there's something for everyone!

juan w.

Yelp
The food is very yummy - fish taco, soups, portobello mushroom burger and kids quesadilla. The service is great too. The price is very reasonable. Overall this is a great spot!

Kat J.

Yelp
The inside isn't anything to write home about BUT, the loveliest man running it who makes very yummy special coffee with extra spices and a delicious breakfast sandwich (on garlic bread ). It was soooo yummy. I'm still thinking about it. He was super friendly and helpful. Internet worked well for working a bit and it was a very calm place. I'd go back again for sure.

Alexa M.

Yelp
One of the two places for brunch in JT. On a Saturday we did have to wait a bit but worth it! We got the biscuits and gravy meal after a long hike and was needed.

Colette H.

Yelp
Loved it here! I was in the area and tried all of the local breakfast spots. I'm so glad I came here. I had been eyeing the Zydeco breakfast for weeks. I'm so glad I ordered it. Everything I ate here was delicious and fresh. If you're in the area, I highly recommend stopping in. The servers are friendly and helpful. The pancakes, OJ and coffee were great, too. I'd definitely stop back in if I was in the area.

Danielle B.

Yelp
After a morning hike and showering we decided to stop in at the crossroads cafe for brunch! We came on a Friday around 12pm and got seated right away. The staff was friendly. There's lots of good food items to choose from on the menu. Me and the hubby stuck with water due to the heat outside. the hubby ordered the hi ho combo ( with pancakes, bacon and scrambled eggs) ($11.50)and I ordered the corned beef hash, over medium eggs and sourdough toast ($11). Both dishes were delicious! We will definitely be back when we visit Joshua Tree again!

L T.

Yelp
The food is super mid like hospital food. I can't believe they served me what they did. The zycedo breakfast tasted like everything came out the microwave or can. Unseasoned scrambled eggs. Undercooked beans. Soggy cornbread. The pancakes were burnt on the outside but so gummy on the inside I couldn't get a bite down without the help of some water. If you like bland food and only salt and pepper this may be for you.

Cindy W.

Yelp
Stopped by for lunch after doing some hikes in JT national park. The wait could be long for a big group, but it is worth it. The burger was delicious, and the fires were crunchy! We also go with the ahi tuna burger...while the portion was generous, the fish burger wasn't as tasty as the burger; as such, I'd recommend getting the burger over the tuna. The service was attentive despite having a busy lunch crowd. The price was very reasonable. They also offer a very extensive breakfast menu. Don't miss this place when you are in the area.

Briana V.

Yelp
Yes yes yes ! The place is sooo good. I absolutely love the fact that they gave banana bread as a little something extra! That honestly made my day and my breakfast so much better but adding something sweet like that. I got a very simple breakfast but it really hit the spot after being in Joshua tree for a couple hours. My potatoes were delicious and bacon/eggs were cooked perfectly. My waitress though! Talk about amazing customer service , she was the sweetest and always checked on me. Really appreciate her kindness and customer service . Love this spot so much!

Ashley S.

Yelp
Loved all the vegan options. Latte was great as well, I came here for breakfast with my hubby. The tofu scramble was a liiiittle on the bland side, needed salt or spice to the ranchero sauce and same with the polenta. It needed a little sprinkle of salt coming out of the fryer and would have been perfect. But no complaints- it was a cute space and a very welcoming vibe. Staff was attentive and great

April P.

Yelp
This place has a pretty long wait time but it worked out because I was able to check out some of the shops in the area and the farmers market while we waited. We were told our wait would be about 45 mins and we came back to find that we still had to wait longer. The hostest was pretty rude about it as well but I will chalk that up to how busy it was but you'd think they'd be used to large crowds on holiday weekends during the summer. Long wait times are the theme for breakfast spots in this area. The food here was really good. I was more tolerant of the wait because I actually enjoyed my French toast. I still probably wouldnt wait that long again for food but it was good and once you're seated the servers become pretty friendly. The restaurant has a small outdoor area for seating and Lots of taxidermy animals.

Katie B.

Yelp
Great spot for breakfast in Joshua Tree. Had to put our name/number on a list upon arrival to wait for a table. They called our cell phone when our table was ready. Quick service and multiple waitstaff attended to our table. Enjoyed both entrees of eggs Benedict (with avocado and bacon) and the omelette with skillet homemade potatoes and the biscuits and gravy.

Keilab A.

Yelp
Quaint little breakfast spot in JT. I ordered the Xroads omelette with swiss cheese and mushrooms and it came with a choice of sides. I opted for the side of fruit and banana bread; get the banana bread it's so good!!The service was quick and attentive, and overall I'd recommend coming here for your breakfast fix.

FiftysevenNine T.

Yelp
Oftentimes an independent cafe can be one representation of the community it serves. I did not realize that the town of Joshua Tree was holistic/artistic/creative until I stopped in town to check it out while enroute to a trailer park. I spent four months in a maga state whose cafes are called Loaded Gun, AR15, The Second Amendment, or Hitler's Purlieu, and I had enough. The first thing I noticed about Crossroads Cafe was the convuluted bulletin board where regular people pin posters to let passersby know what's up. I read many notices and snapped photos. My second observance was the absence of open carry with a trumptrash swatstika on it, although I heard assault fire on nearby BLM that morning. With extreme caution and vigilence I entered. Other patrons dined at window tables, obvioiusly to escape any potential nefarious occurence, so I too positioned myself accordingly. Food, price, service: all good. Survivable.

Bethany J.

Yelp
This is a local favorite and stays crowded which is a good sign. The people are friendly and the service is good. A small place with a sense of community and customer service. The Quaint desert decor is rustic and comfortable, makes you feel right at home. A little busy on the weekends, but the wait was only about 20 minutes at around 1000 on a Sunday, which isn't bad at all. The wait staff is extremely friendly and professional. Everyone is so down to earth you feel right at home. The food came out fast and the coffee was good and hot. There's plenty to choose from on the menu. The food is filling and delicious. One of our favorite spots in Joshua tree

Melody J.

Yelp
Don't come superrrrrrrr slow. Very rude service. Super super super super super slow

Jo B.

Yelp
The vegan seitan sandwich here is so delicious. Great service and atmosphere. Highly recommend.

Scott C.

Yelp
Great service and quick AND I loved that Reuben. Solid stuff! The staff was friendly and knowledgeable on the area too

Patricia G.

Yelp
A couple of friends and I stumbled upon this place after sightseeing all morning in Joshua Tree. Came in for a late lunch on a Saturday afternoon and had to wait about 10-15 minutes or so for a table. Luckily there was a shop next door to bide some time. There were quite a bit of people dining in the restaurant, which was a good sign. I ordered the tuna melt with pickles inside (per our server's recommendation) and a side of Mac and cheese, along with an Arnold Palmer to wash it all down. The food was really good! I didn't have high hopes, but the tuna melt was excellent, especially with chopped pickles inside it. I'm not the biggest pickle person, but it was a bit of a game changer. The Mac and cheese was exceptional -- it was topped with breadcrumbs and put in the broiler which gave it a slightly crispy crust. Underneath, the Mac and cheese was creamy and the pasta had a slight bit of chew. Our server was friendly and gave great recommendations, but didn't really come to check on us after taking our order. Parking was fairly easy -- there are a few spots out front but also on the side streets close by. Would definitely come back here if I'm in the area!

Yelp
We stopped in for lunch while in JT. We had heard good things and decided to check it out. I'd say we were underwhelmed. There was a few people waiting ahead of us, we thought this was a good sign, but it really ended up showing us a lot of disorganized operational practices. As an example they have their dirty dishes drop bin right where people are waiting, so much in the way that people were asked to move almost every time a server tried using the bin. The high chairs were also there and not wiped Down between uses and pretty full of leftovers, we wiped the one we used first as it still had some toast and jam (I think) from the last little one it supported. Our server was lovely, she was kind and had great suggestions. She also brough us waters right off the Hop which I appreciated- including one with a lid for our baby girl (under 1). My partner ordered the heaven burger and said it was pretty tasty. The fries were home cut and nice and crispy. I ordered the Ruben and on suggestion the spinach salad. My sandwich was good, but as you can see from the photo, the bread was over done. The salad was good but flooded with dressing. We overall enjoyed our meal but it felt a bit like we were inconveniencing most of the staff, maybe it was just a busy day (Thursday in March). I will say I think we picked the wrong meal as the breakfasts I saw coming out looked so good. I'd go back for sure but just couldn't give it more than 3 stars for the other reasons listed.

Ruben B.

Yelp
I have been here twice for breakfast. The first time it was great! That was two years ago. So we decided to go back with my family and I am proud to report that they are consistent. You do want to consider that there is going to most likely be a wait. We knew this going in. But this was a Saturday and there was a farmers market going on in the shopping center directly next to the restaurant. So that was a nice way to spend the time. The food was awesome. Their sourdough toast was so good and so was their sourdough French toast. I ordered a breakfast sandwich (unfortunately I don't remember the name from their menu) and I asked if there were any vegan options that I could try in the sandwich. I am not vegan but I do like to have vegan food if possible. What a better place to do that than in Joshua Tree. I was recommended the Seitan and I'm glad I was. It was delicious. Definitely different but I also trusted that my waitress wouldn't steer me wrong. I look forward to returning and trying even more of their offerings.

Kevin D.

Yelp
This place is amazing The best food in JT & the best pricing A few doors down from JT saloon Large portions but quality ingredients The best breakfast & the tuna melt for lunch on sourdough is a big hit Enjoy Kevin

Michael K.

Yelp
Food selection and quality are excellent, service tight-on, and the ambiance is JT-cool. Love the place.

Yelp
Ok so me and my girlfriend were on a retreat in Joshua Tree and woke up the next day to go to a sound bath at the Integratron *highly recommend* We stumbled upon this cafe via yelp and thanks to the reviews and photos they were all so right! This food is to die for. I got a lovely corn beef hash with eggs and toast and my friend got some fries. We ordered some coffee and the staff was really quick with service! The energy in the location was incredible, it was nice and light hearted in there and we just had a wonderful breakfast. We were going to take out but they didn't offer it so we decided to sit down and eat. Didn't regret it one bit.

Yelp
This place was a cozy surprise. The wait was really long in a Saturday morning but that was expected since it was a thanksgiving weekend. We waited almost an hour before being seated. Once we did get seated, the food came in really fast, which we really appreciated. We tried a bunch of different coffees and all of them were really strong. For the food, we ordered the tofu scramble, the vegetarian quesadilla, hot as hell tacos and the breakfast burrito. The food was soooooo good. The quesadilla was our absolute favorite, followed closely by the beans. The portion sizes are huge. This place doesn't do to go orders. This is a cute little place that's a bit rustic and sets the perfect mood to do a great brunch or lunch right before you head to Joshua tree national park. A must visit!

Yelp
The food was sooooo good!! And the wait was shorter than the other places around. The service was friendly and atmosphere was nice and relaxing with chill music playing. I highly recommend!

Yelp
We waited 40 minutes for one single to go sandwich. The first time they made it the chicken was raw and sent back. I wouldn't be as disappointed but some of the staff was kind of rude as well. I understand they're super busy but we should have been updated or at least been made aware of the wait time or what was going on, we had to ask multiple times before they checked.

Yelp
We've been to this place both times we visited Joshua Tree to grab a hearty breakfast before going hiking in the park. This is the best spot in town, so be prepared for a wait. I loved the Mike's Mess scramble with bacon, veggies and of course country potatoes. If your order includes an option for side of toast, you HAVE TO get the banana bread that is made in house and griddled up for your plate. They also have an espresso machine so you can get a variety of coffee drinks.
