Art is a great guy and Chelsea won against Brighton. The fish & chips were fantastic and the Guinness was poured perfectly

Sadly, On July 4th, 2024, after nearly 30 years of service to British hospitality and the community, the Crown & Anchor closed... And this came one day after the GM of the other, smaller location spoke on how important and good it was that minimum wage went up by .75 cents per hour... How ironic. Oh well, close a business, save a buck or two... My heartfelt thanks to all there, customers and employees that I have had the pleasure to know over the last 17 years of patronage. This is the only true authentic club in all of Las Vegas! All others are pretend. It has a real English menu with English food,..it's been here since 1995...and ive been getting drunk here since then ;) I'm here now. The ONLY place to watch Soccer, especially the world cup. Spacious parking,...right across from UNLV and near a tire store and circle K...get gas right after getting lit and then park ur car and take an Uber!!!

Stopped in for a pint and an appetizer. Very cozy and seems like a nice local spot. Absolutely love all the decor and can't wait to share the pics of the Sheffield stuff to family. Bartender was friendly and personable, gave us some ideas of places to check out while in Vegas. Although I do wish we'd have visited the bigger location, it was still a nice chill spot for quick drink or bite to eat. We will visit the other location next time for supper!

Absolutely delicious! Bangers and mash are spot on with the gravy! Sausage rolls with the mustard sauce were amazing! We all had an amazing time and enjoyed eating here! Hanging out laughing Its a very chill little bar with great food!!

I love this place. Great staff Great food. A zillion beers. Soccer and American football on all the time. annnnnnnnnnnd The Best Scotch Eggs in America..... The security staff is great as well, especially when they're on hooker patrol.

This website menu is severely outdated. My order of fish & chips listed on the website menu as $10.95 consists of 2 average pieces of fish & a small handful of chips w/half cup of peas. The actual cost for this order at pick up is more than $20! The bartendress tells me that menu is 20 years old! I see the owner's had no problem updating the website about 2 months ago in July 2024 to let people know C&R on Tropicana closed but Spring Mtn Rd location still open. But couldn't update their menu? NOT HELPFUL. Kind of a mean spirited prank to play on unsuspecting patrons. Maybe I wouldn't be so ticked off if the food had been excellent with larger portions for the price. But neither of those was the case. I will continue to drive out of my area for fish & chips from The Village Pub on Sunset & Eastern. 3 larger pieces of superior fish & twice the chips for $5 less per order!

They closed the wrong location! This Crown & Anchor on Spring Mountain needs to be demolished! I'll start with the server, "Ana S". Rude with an attitude from hell. She needs to do something else because her demeanor is just nasty. She couldn't care less about her customers. It took 50 minutes from the time we ordered our breakfast for it to arrive at the table. When it did, we wished it hadn't. It was disgusting. We chose the "Full Monty", as it is supposed to be a traditional English breakfast. The eggs were uncooked. The toast was stale. The foreign material they referred to as "English Bacon" looked like roadkill and was cold and nasty. The fried tomato tasted sour and had clearly turned rancid. When I mentioned this to Ana, she stated that it was how the English made their tomatoes. My boyfriend, who is from England and knows an English breakfast, disagreed. But Ana stated that it was just fine. Everything was cold, including the coffee. Ana insisted that it was just brewed. Well, better check the coffeemaker then because this coffee sucked. I explained our dissatisfaction with the entire experience to "Miss Attitude". Her response was "Okay". No apology. No concern. No doing something to make up for the fact that we were probably just food poisoned. NOTHING. We obviously will not be returning to this dump. It looks dirty, and I can only imagine what horrors exist in the kitchen. Incidentally, a couple sitting nearby ordered the Fish & Chips, the house specialty. I pray those people are alive after consuming that meal. I could smell that fish coming. It stunk. Of course, fish shouldn't smell fishy, so clearly it was old and bad. This Crown & Anchor should give it up. It's filthy. The service is horrendous, and the food is dangerous. Take my advice and stay away. It's nothing like the "Anchor" on Tropicana that just closed. What a shame.

Classic looking sports bar pub with an old timey feel and a good list of affordable drinks. If you're looking for a chill spot to watch sports like the golden knights without feeling rushed I recommend this spot. Not gonna lie I didn't notice this place at first since this plaza is full of Asian restaurants, but it's located on the edge closest to the street. Crown & Anchor Pub has multiple tv screens, sports memorabilia, and variety of pub food in a laid back setting. A group of us ordered different dishes to try while we chatted and hung out. From onion rings, chicken tenders, to green tea shots and beer, their menu boasts a solid selection of pub favorites. There seemed to be only one person at the front but luckily not too many guests and everyone was relaxed on a Friday night. Recommended Items: - Fish and chips: classic food with a side of peas - Scottish egg: hard boiled egg inside sausage with horseradish condiment - Pear Cider: sweet and delicious!

Fun place with a great staff and incredible food. Try the homemade chicken fingers as they are awesome. The burgers are top notch as is the curry chicken. Try it over fries. Starting to sound like I work there, but I don't. Just a really good locals place.

We just spent 3 hours with a large group for an impromptu birthday celebration. Art was amazing. He was patient and helpful. The service and food were spot on. We kept Art busy the entire time and he was never anything but kind and funny. Thank you, Art, for making our night. We will be back to see you soon!

This is such a cute British bar and an (almost) perfect spot to watch a soccer game. It got very packed very quick! I luckily got a seat at the bar but was squished the entire game, but people were nice just excited! The sausage rolls were so good I ordered a second one! Overall, it was just pretty packed which made it hard to enjoy the game, and there were only 2 bartenders so drinks were slow.

I was driving through Chinatown and saw a pub in the area. Sunny skies and windy conditions brought me to shelter in this little cozy pub. Inside was nice and dark with a few locals hanging about at the center square bar playing video poker I'm guessing. Some were sitting around the perimeter watching the games on TV. I sat at a little table by the front door. You can tell there's history here. Lots of wall/ceiling decoration, memorabilia, souvenirs and knick knacks here and there. A dart board hangs at the other end of the dining room. A true English pub in every sense of the word. Reminds me of Grumpy's in San Francisco. The waitress was very nice and friendly. I ordered a pint of Guinness and decided to get their authentic English fish & chips. The Guinness came nicely poured with the frothy top. Very satisfying first sip that hit the spot. When my order came, there was only one battered filet with fries and a little bowl of peas. The fish was actually really good. For $20.95, I wish I had more than one filet, though. Overall, I'd come back here with a friend and hoist some Guinness. Maybe I'll try the Steak & Mushroom pie next time. Maybe I'll change my four stars to five next time, too.

I've ventured into the Little Crown & Anchor pub a couple of times waiting for our table at It's Sushi. The service is always good. The atmosphere is very divey but so far we've experienced when it was completely chill in there and we've also seen it very loud and vibrant as well. Our second time here, there was a menu that was sitting on the bar and we decided to look into it. We love fish and chips and we saw that they had unlimited Fish and Chips on Mondays. We decided to come back on a Monday for this. The fish and chips were really yummy! The outside was crispy and the inside was perfect! The fish was cooked just right where it was flakey and moist. We ended up taking down 4-5 pieces each. The house salad was okay. You get a choice of peas or house salad. If you like fish and chips, then i definitely recommend this place. They're also totally okay with you just stopping by for a quick drink as well. They have gaming and dart boards too.

I've been to this little spot on Spring Mountain twice. The fish and chips are amazing! Amazing means just right. The fish is outstanding, the fries are thick and perfect, and the peas are peas. Yeah, I could say that I'd like the choice of peas or slaw, but, really, the meal is incredibly satisfying. Even the coffee is on the money. My mom had the Cornish pastie. It's also excellent, but I keep on craving the fish and chips, and I can't wait to have the same meal again. The place is indeed a dive, and I could do without the slight smell of cigarettes, but I'm from California. These are minor gripes. OK, one more minor gripe: The AC can be a little intense even in the summer, so if you get cold easily, wear jeans, or throw a sweater on your lap.

Had a good visit here. Nice basic pub feel. Our food was good pub grub. Service was fast, friendly and good. Fish and chips, bangers and mash & curry chicken was a throw back to the days I spent in the UK. I would go to watch football (soccer) there. Sports bar style tv's Over all good pub.

This place is a really cool old and authentic. The decor is great old beer signs. Wood tables and benches to sit on. The waitress was dress too. I came in for the all you can eat fish and chip. The fish was great. They use cod. It wasn't greasy. Big pieces. And all you can eat for $19.00. What a deal. The waitress Pricilla was great for being by herself. She gave great service for only being by herself. This would have been a 5 star. But the breading on the cod needed salt. And one more waitress or waiter would have been perfect. One person to do everything isn't fair. But overall this is a great place. Good beer and good eats. Check it out.

I stopped in this bar about a week ago and I gotta say the graveyard bartender James was awesome! Great service great personality overall good guy!!! I'd definitely recommend stopping in on his shift for some good food great drinks and excellent customer service! Thanks James!!!

I ordered delivery. I ordered the cottage pie which came all messed up in the plastic container. It had been tipped over sideways and spilled, not placed in the bag square. I don't know if this was the fault of the Uber eats driver or the restaurant preparers. The food tasted pretty good. I also ordered onion rings which came very soft and mushy. Not edible. I also ordered an apple crumble dessert which was fairly good. Lastly I ordered the French dip sandwich. I thought it was a little bit small compared to other restaurants but the beef was pretty good. The aujus was OK but needed a lot of salt to give it the right flavor. All in all, I was disappointed. I think the problem is that this restaurant doesn't know how to pack and prepare food for delivery. Dine in would probably be better.

It's called "Little" but there is plenty of what is there. So it seems the building and the menu is streamlined. Actually very "cozy". No outdoor seating at this one. Menu is limited to their best sellers due to the size of their kitchen. Got the beef pastie and steak pie.*Perfection! Flaky crusts, ample onion gravy on soft mashed potatoes and green popping peas. I think it's supposed to be pale green and mushy soft, glad it leaned toward the American style of veggies. Also, noticed the chef walking around in his black chef outfit. Very professional looking. Friendly and beautiful service. Imperial pints.

I originally wrote this review for the Crown and Anchor over on Tropicana, when I actually ate here. Just moving my review to the right place. I was visiting Vegas back in October, and for dinner, I just decided I wanted Fish and Chips. So, I pulled out my phone, and it told me to come here. I figured a British Pub would do it right. For the most part, they did. The place is very easy to find, it sits by itself across the parking lot of a strip mall about 3 miles west of mid-strip. I went in, and it was a bit dark on the inside. It definitely reminded me of an old fashioned British Pub. They had a good selection of beers and alcohol at the bar. I was seated right away toward the back, and that was fine, as they were doing a good job of social distancing. I don't remember my server's name, but she was great. I didn't even need a menu. I told her I wanted the fish and chips, and iced tea. I asked if they had mushy peas, and she said yes, they did! The food came. A delicious large piece of beer battered cod, a good sized order of steak fries, aaaaannnd... regular peas. I didn't say anything. They were very good, but I would have rather had the mushy peas. When I finished my piece of fish, she brought me another one right away. I didn't know it, but I had just happened to come in on All You Can Eat Fish and Chips Day. She asked me if I wanted more chips also, but I said no thank you. I was full as it was. It was a little hard to make it through that second piece of fish, but boy, definitely worth it, as It was so good. I waddled out of the place. Good food at a decent price. I'm glad I found them.

Small spot to have a a good meal and some drinks. Service was good, server was funny cuz we put in a complicated fish n chips order lol no tarter sauce. The clam chowder was good too. Next time we try breakfast!!!!

Never again! Not only were the prices considerably higher than the online menu, but the amount of food you receive is insulting for what you pay! The fish was good, but 2 small pieces for $19.95? The Cottage pie was $15.95 in a small container and just okay. The curry chicken also on a piece of paper that soaked up the juice/gravy was also just okay. I personally don't eat curry, but my husband was very disappointed. I showed the waitress the online prices and she said those prices were 1980 prices???? Beware if you can in your order using their online menu prices.

Love this place , met my husband here 6 years ago . We still go once a week. The food is amazing the drinks on point , service impeccable a definite hidden gem

It really is an awful place. It was closed for a week last summer when health board found roaches and unwashed dishes all over the place. Only food that is edible are the greasy fries. Bartender was surly and had no idea what beets they have When there for Saturday quiz night only to find the manager Art was sleeping with a customer ( and she was cheating on her bf) and feeding her the questions beforehand. So her team always wins

Came in for lunch with no expectations and was pleasantly surprised. I enjoyed the decor everywhere and the chill atmosphere. Lovely friendly staff! Got fish and chips and bangers and mash both overall good. Drinks were refilled without asking. Bangers & Mash: Great. Mash was amazing the sausage also very delicious and beans good. Fish & Chips: Best Chips(fries) ever! I still enjoyed the fish even though decently bland. Everything was what I wanted :) Thanks!

Trivia at Crown on Saturdays is the best spot to be. Art, the man in charge, spits tough questions with good cheer and heavy pours. If you aren't here, you're missing out. Always get the ranch.

This is a pretty cool bar located by China Town. It probably seems to be a weird area for a British pub but it was here way before. We came in and Tanya greeted/got us a couple drinks before we even sat down. (I like that). We posted up at the bar, got a couple players cards, hit a few 4 o kinds and then cashed out. Pretty cool bar. They have dart boards and a nice selection of beer. Good service.

We had an amazing time at crown & anchor!! Mike Downey was are bartender and went above and beyond giving us the best service and friendly conversatio. we will definitely be back!! also the chicken tenders were delicious and homemade!

Normally this place is great but tonight I had probably one of the worst experiences I have ever had in a bar. The bar tender completely ignored us, I had to have male patrons order another round for us. We had no service from the Bar tender. When we decided to call it because the drinks were bad. My beer was fine but the mixed drinks had issues my friend couldn't even finish hers. I went up to the bar tender JAMIE set the darts down and kind of threw my card at her. She asked why I was mad and I told her her service was awful. She said she didn't do anything. That was the problem! She spent so much time grinding and rubbing on all of the guys there and ignoring or being rude to us I was upset. She proceeded to add extra drinks to our tab then further insulted me by telling me that if she looked like me she would be miserable and proceeded to insult me. Only further proving my point. The manager was there, I complained about her service prior to this because it was unacceptable. She threw our tab at us without us asking her to close it after having other guys order our drinks. We also tried to order food and she was extremely rude about it. When I asked for darts she banged on the bar and made me go get the first set when I asked for the 2nd set she put them on the bar and didn't even tell me I had to find them myself. Jamies service and attitude was by far the worst I have ever experienced and that was before she proceeded to insult me, over charge me, and continue to insult me while I tried to work out the correct total with the manager. This all happened on 12/10/21

I am a local and called Little Crown & Anchor to see if they showed soccer games on ESPN+ The guy who answered the phone was very terse and rude and would shout over me when I said ESPN before I got time to say "plus" I would not recommend this place at all

I was pretty drained after work, so I was just going to default to an old favorite. But then I drove by this place and remembered that there was something that I had to try on Mondays... I found out after walking inside that Little Crown & Anchor Pub offers the same all you can eat fish and chips for $13.95 on Mondays (5pm thru midnight) as its big brother does. Having never tried this AYCE special before, I decided to take advantage of the opportunity. The first plate that they brought out was huge. I'm actually not sure that I would've been able to handle it fully had I been in optimal eating shape. There was a huge pile of chips, a perhaps-too-generous helping of peas, the battered fish (of course), a lemon slice, and a dipping portion of tartar sauce. I think the crispy batter was the best part of the meal, but the fish itself was slightly dry and fairly bland. Everything was on the bland side really, and no combination of condiments (salt, pepper, malt vinegar, tartar, even ketchup) truly helped the situation. The chips strongly resembled Red Robin's boring steak fries. They'll be happy to bring only fish as a continuation of your AYCE experience, but I ended up with taste buds dulled both by repetition and by some sense of feeling full. And flavor aside, I doubt that the fish filets are premium cuts given their nonchalant attitude toward providing seconds and toward wasted food. I wouldn't really bother returning to Little Crown & Anchor Pub just for the fish & chips. The service was friendly though, and the music was quite fun fun, both when it had pop and alt/indie rock hits and when they recalibrated the playlist for an older audience.

Las Vegas night life is back and the FIRST thing you want to do is go to Crown and Anchor, get the fish and chips. They actually had mushy peas!! Excellent nosh and the bartender is HOT!

Sometimes a smoke filled 24 hour bar just hits the right notes! Little Crown & Anchor is one of the only spots around Chinatown that we know of who serves food and alcohol all night. The food is actually really good! (Not the pea's lol but everything else!) They have the best kept secret happy hour angus beef bacon cheese burger with steak fries for $6 from 12a-8a as long as you order a drink. My only true tiff with this spot is that their liquor license does not allow them to serve liquor at their main bar, only wine and beers... They kindly added a mini side bar where you can sit with your cocktails so you can still drink liquor of but it's just kind of odd. One time I stepped on a cockroach in the bathroom but I have seen cockroaches in almost every restaurant in Chinatown so don't be so critical.

The best onion rings I have ever had. They are still crunchy when they get cold. Incredible.

We were in the area and swung in for a quick lunch. To our surprise it was pretty much empty. This meant we got all the attention, which was awesome! The bar tender was so amazing. She was a lot of fun! The pear cider was so good and paired perfectly with the fish and chips. The cook came out since it was slow and he was so nice. He asked how the food was. I appreciate the attentive service, even with it being slow. The staff engaged with us and made it a great time!

Bartender was Priscilla and she was the only one working tonight. Watching her run around and keep her composure and smile was inspiring.

Stopped by on Sunday night for a roast dinner, no cars outside should be a clue. Sat ourselves and was greeted by barman who took our order. Music was overly loud and inappropriate for an English pub, it was head banging punk like music. Soft drinks were flat. A lady came in for dinner, after ordering she mentioned the horrible music and atmosphere to us. Dinner arrived, still over cooked Yorkshire pudding, fewer potatoes and meat than last visit and everything was barely lukewarm, meat was fatty and gristly. Won't be back to this location.

Second time here. The most bland Fish and chips I've ever had my first time. I decided to give it a second chance with the cottage pie. Again. Pathetic. Next to zero flavor. Apparently, "salt and and pepper" is not in this kitchens vocabulary. Bar staff is ALWAYS good and attentive. The ONLY redeeming factor of this place.

I don't even known how you start this review went with a couple of friends and order a couple of burgers , bill was $160.00 and I left the server $17.00 on the card and we where leaving her $10 cash on the table, she didn't even wait to see if anyone was going to leave her anything else , The bartender who's name is Jaime, complained to one of the customers and they decided to come confront us. Let's start by you should never complain to your customer because you literally had these people run us out of the bar and cause a big scene and it could of gone worst . I could not believe what we experience, I talked about this place highly to my friends as my bf and I have been here several times and the gentleman who helps us is always so nice, this woman needs to be trained in customer service, I'm sorry if your tip was not enough. This was clearly the bartenders fault that we literally had to leave because I as a woman felt threatened. I hope your $27 was worth it , Thank you , This is the first and last time my friends will be coming to this bar . And im definitely not EVER COMING BACK. This Jaimie should be fired for putting, the customers in danger , oh and to top it off today wile i was reviewing our bill we had 2 sides of chicken breast added to our bill that we NEVER had so and extra $10.50 charged for something we never had. I hope it was worth it. The worst experience ever horrible service by Jaimie the bartender .

Disappointed! They took away my favorite dish on the menu- the kidney pie! The server made a mistake with my order. Restroom and the restaurant is dirty like they haven't cleaned it over a century! The peas came out cold from the kitchen and the food we ordered was burnt. And they ran out of beer that my husband likes( Smithwick's) The fish and chips were good though. Used to be one of our favorite pubs to go to and could be again with improvement.

Total fckin rip off. $17.33 for one saugy ass piece of fish. Side of steak fries and some nasty peas. But price is listed on site $10.95 for same shit meal. Stay away go somewhere else for fish and chips.

Best chicken fingers in town?! Absolutely not, this place has gone downhill fast and the food says it all. These chicken tenders were tiny, overcooked, dried out and flavorless.

Since I haven't tried British food yet, we decided to give this place a try. We ordered chicken fingers for our appetizer. To me, it had a weird taste to it, but apparently my boyfriend didn't have that same problem. I was fairly satisfied with the chicken curry dish, mainly because it was flavorful compared to my love's cornish pastie dish (which was extremely bland to me). The sticky toffee pudding here is delightful!! I honestly wish that I ordered another one to take home with me. Overall, this place serves decent food with average service. I wouldn't mind stopping by again to try something else from the menu and have some alcohol next time.

Woohoo! Finally came in here after driving by so many times. Cool English pub with some dart boards if that's what floats your boat, and sports channels playing on multiple tvs. Bar poker/keno/etc. too. Beer is a little on the pricey side I'd say for off the strip ($6 for a pint of Newcastle). Otherwise, the food is pretty fairly priced. So far the best value for fish and chips I've had so far! Mondays are $15 all you can eat fish n chip days! Start of with 2 and add as you go. My friend got the banger on a bun, which he enjoyed. The was only one server/bartender, and it got moderately busy, but she definitely held her own, and we had great service. She always made sure I had food sitting in front of me haha. Looking forward to coming back for some more food and beverage : )

It was more of a 2.5 star experience, but a lot closer to "I've experienced better" than "A-OK". We went in for the all you can eat fish and chips on Monday which sounds better than you feel after 3 reorders. It wasn't overly greasy (except for the last 2) but the breading on the fish just lacked in flavor and the fish was frozen cod (not that I was expecting beer-battered halibut). So after downing a plate full of thick steak fries and getting a few reorders, I called it a day at 6 large pieces and requested the bill and walked out not entirely full but not wanting anymore...the quality is better than something out of the frozen section at the grocery store but less than I've had in any other restaurant. At 14.95 x 2 plus tax and tip, I could have had a better meal at 100 other places in town. This experience departed 3 star territory when we left the place, and even though no one was smoking inside the establishment, our clothes wreaked of cigarettes. No Bueno. Next time I'll listen to the girlfriend and head for some Vietnamese.

Went here for the Saturday Quizzo. Great time. Servers and bartenders were friendly. You standard British grub. I plan to be back for another round.

This is what a British Pub looks like in America (specifically Las Vegas). This is not a microbrewery or a gastropub. You come here for a cold pint, hot chips, and football . . . I mean real football (Americans call it soccer). Darts and a jukebox are also available. If that doesn't suit you, it's still a great spot for a drink and bar food. The breakfast is awesome as is the British burger. Mondays are all you can eat fish and chips. Sunday roast is OK (but I haven't found another place that does it at all). Cheers!

We were excited to try some British food. Mine came frozen :( Really run down. All the food is just over fried or microwaved.

Went here on Sunday morning. Kara was the bartender and super fun. Had the cheeseburger, and while I know this place serves really good British food, the burger was amazing! An actual charburger! A rare find. Its a small and inviting place that was obviously a Long John Silvers in years past. If you're not a snob for ambiance and just down to have good food and fun, this is your kind of place. Pro tip: they have Boddington beer on tap.

Service was awful, the bartender was intentionally ignoring us as well as a other couple. We ordered food and drinks she did not give us our drinks at all. She noticed wE had no drinks and as bartender she didn't eVen Offer "what we will be having to drink". Frankly she should be fired, that's how bad of a bartender she Was.
